"DADDY I THREW UP"
How they react when their little ones throw up ! (we all know gojo is gonna be overreacting) ft. gojo, geto, choso, toji, and nanami
content: TW: vomit, no curse!au fluff, established relationship (marriage), children, families. (divider by kim jiho) same kids from jjk men as dads
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Gojo Satoru
Satoru's on daddy duty for the next week and a half while you're gone, and so far he's actually doing quite well. Currently, he's making dinner from a simple recipe in the recipe book you've been making throughout the last few years.
Two year old Kenji waddles into the kitchen and tugs on Satoru's sweatpants. His head whips around to look down at his little mini-me.
"Hey Kenji, what's up little guy?" He puts his attention back on the wok with noodles in it to make sure he doesn't burn dinner. As he's stirring the food around with chopsticks Kenji starts to form a sentence, "Um.. throw up."
Satoru freezes. "W-what?" He knows exactly what Kenji said but he's scared to turn around. Kenji whines a little bit, "Throw up. Kenji throw up." Usually Satoru would find his toddler's 3rd person speaking cute but right now he feels himself breaking out into a cold sweat.
"Oh... um.. It's okay? Where is it?" Kenji's little feet waddle away from the kitchen expecting his daddy to follow after him. Satoru turns the heat down to low so the food won't burn, and follows his little boy to the 'crime scene'.
Kenji sticks his thumb in his little mouth and points to the throw up on the carpet.
"O-oh god, I think I'm gonna-" He gags and runs into the bathroom. Nothing comes from his mouth so he shudders. He needs to calm down, it's just a little throw up from his own kin, he'll be alright. The faucet runs and he splashes some water on his face.
"I can do this. I can do this. I can-" He hears the telltale sign of someone throwing up. Kenji is definitely sick. The throw up is followed by loud crying. Satoru's dad instincts kick in and he runs back over to where his little boy is.
"Hey, hey, hey, little guy. It's gonna be okay. Let's get you a bath, then I'll call mommy, okay?" Kenji nods. It breaks Satoru's heart hearing those little sniffles that leave his baby boy.
Geto Suguru
"PAPAAAAA!!!! Hana threw up!!!" Suguru looks at you and you stare right back.
"Don't look at me, I cleaned Hana's vomit yesterday while you were working late." He fights the urge to roll his eyes at you, because you're being childish in his mind.
Suguru makes his way to the kitchen so he can get the carpet cleaning spray out of the cabinet. "Fucking hell." He mumbles without realizing his six year old daughter was near by.
She gasps dramatically before yelling, "OOOOOO PAPA SAID A BAD WORD!!!" He screws his eyes shut, agitation was slowly seeping in.
"I'll put a dollar in the jar, but please stop screaming, Kana. Your sister doesn't feel good and the screaming is hurting Papa's head." He has retrieved the spray and a damp rag to clean up the soiled spot on the carpet.
"Sorry Papa." Kana's voice is lowered drastically. Being a curious little thing she follows her father to go check up on her little twin sister.
"You alright, princess?" Suguru sits close to her little pink bed and poor little Hana shakes her head 'no'.
"I don't feel good, Papa." She whines quietly. Suguru can tell by the way her eyes water, the sweat beads grow on her forehead and the way she frowns deeply that she definitely is sick.
"Why don't you go brush your teeth for me, princess? Then Papa will get you some medicine." Suguru understands his daughter very well. He'd always get sick while eating curses, sometimes they were so bad he would vomit all over the place. LOLLL no curse au so he aint gotta suffer.
She nods hopping from her bed to go brush her teeth in the bathroom. Suguru gets to work cleaning up the carpet.
Kamo Choso
Ryuji's school had called you because your boy threw up in school, which he was very embarrassed about because elementary schoolers always know how to make a big deal out of something small. Many children were crowding your son where he threw up some gasped in horror others laughed. Luckily the teachers were able to get the students under control once more.
They sent him to the nurse and she dialed you, "I'm so sorry, baby. Mom's out of town, give the phone back to the nurse so I can give her dad's number, okay?" He utters a quiet response before handing the phone over.
You chat with the nurse for a little bit giving her the information she needed then you told your son goodbye and hung up.
The nurse is quick to dial Choso and he picks up after the fourth ring. "Good morning, Sir. I'm calling because your son Ryuji Kamo threw up and he isn't feeling too good. We called Mom but she said she won't be able to come pick him up. Do you think you could check him out or do you have another trusted family member who could pick him up?" She's got a pen and notepad ready to write down another number if Choso couldn't make it.
"Oh dear, yeah I'll be there in about twenty minutes. Is his stuff packed already or..." He trails phone pressed to his ear, he hadn't been doing anything too important since he'd already finished up his meeting.
"No Sir, we'll send him right up to pack up. He'll be waiting for you in the main office."
"Alright, thank you." Choso's starting to worry, does he need to take Ryuji to the doctor? Should he stop at the grocery store and get soup? Should he make soup? Do you have kids cold/flu medicine at home? Your husband can't remember the last time Ryuji had vomited and he's pretty sure you'd taken care of it anyway.
"Hey Siri, how do I take care of my sick son?" She responds with 'here's what I found' he quickly scans over an article and the main idea is comfort him, make him something light, make sure he's hydrated, and gets plenty of rest. He could do that. Choso's not the best at emotions but he'll do what he can for his boy.
Eventually the two make it home, and Choso is quick to act. "Change into your pjs and I'll get you some medicine. How do you feel?" He needs a basic idea of what he's dealing with.
"My stomach reallyyyyyyy hurts." He whines holding his abdomen area tightly.
"Like you need to go to the bathroom kind of hurt?" Choso thinks it might be a stomach bug because his so shakes his head 'no'.
"Nuh uh, feels like someone is stabbing me in the stomach." His brows knit and a frown covers his face. it hurts to see his son suffering.
"Alright, I've got you kiddo. I'll take care of you." He promises to his growing boy.
"Thanks dad."
Fushiguro Toji
"Dad come look! I threw up! It's so cool!" Four year old Yui says, which is odd, no normal little kid is happy after throwing up so Toji is suspicious.
"Tell your brother to clean it up." Yui crosses her little arms and pouts.
"I already told Megumi and Nami!! They told me to go tell you!!!" He doesn't want to clean it up. He already has his work cutting out for him changing his newborn's diapers, cleaning up vomit was not on his list of to dos.
He would have told her to go ask you to clean it up but it's sunday and you usually go out for brunch with your friends. So, unless he somehow coaxed his stubborn son, Megumi, he'd have to do it himself.
When he finally reaches the bathroom, he groans in annoyance at how she just barely missed the toilet had she run a little faster she would have made it. To make matters worse it looks like she tried to clean it up herself and just spread it all everywhere.
"Oh, Sprinkles threw up too! Cuz he ate some of mine."
"Are you fucking kidding me?" A deep unsettling groan rips from his throat. Yui finds the whole ordeal funny, she's giggling and cooing at her father.
Bonus: A few days later you're walking past Yui's room and you hear her yell, "Are you fucking kidding me?!"
You instantly stop, "Excuse you little girl, who did you hear say that?"
"Dad said it when he had to clean up my throw up!!" She smiles brightly at you. She's so innocent she doesn't fully understand the weight of what she's said.
"That's a bad word sweet girl. Don't say that anymore, got it?"
You're given a little nod to indicate she understands.
"TOJI WHERE ARE YOU?!" He's about to get an earful from you.
Nanami Kento:
"Hey guys, I came as soon as I could." You exhale deeply as you set your keys on the rack and slip off your shoes. Kento had picked up your son because the school called saying he'd thrown up.
Kento appears from the hallway with a finger on his lip telling you to "shh".
You lower your voice to a whisper, "Is Hiro alright?" Kento walks up to you and gives you a comforting hug which you really needed.
"Yeah he's resting right now. He threw up in the car. Twice. I was going to go clean it up right now. Emmie should be waking up from her nap soon, though." You're so grateful to have a husband you can rely on in a time of need.
When Hiro's school had called you, you were in the middle of a very important meeting so you couldn't leave. Nanami had left work early to go pick up your son.
His smile is so intoxicating. You pull him by his collar and make his lips meet yours. He immediately reciprocates by bringing his hands up to cup your cheeks and kiss you back.
"Thank you, baby." His eyes are so beautiful and if you didn't have to go make sure to be there for your baby girl you would have continued to stare at them.
"Of course my love. Parenting is a two person thing for a reason."
"I bet by next week we'll be sick too." You say chuckling dryly.
"Most likely, yeah." He says shaking his head. He begrudgingly walks out to his car to clean up the vomit in the backseat.

the taste of iron
(buddie) (2.3k words) (8x01 alternate ending) so i made a joke the other day about what would have happened if buck hadn't pushed gerrard out of the way and then i kept thinking about it and then it wasn't a joke anymore and now we're here content warning: minor character death (but like. it's gerrard) (also blood related to said death)
Gerrard is so fucking loud. The vitriol, the bigotry, that’s what makes Buck angry, but it’s the volume that sets his teeth on edge. How it isn’t driving the rest of them insane, he’ll never understand.
The more he berates, the louder he gets. The construction, just feet away, adds to the cacophony. Buck can feel his eardrums vibrating with every spit-punctuated syllable that flies from Gerrard’s mouth. He needs it to stop, he needs it to—
All at once, three things happen. Gerrard’s hand comes up, finger pointed accusingly at the center of his chest. Buck takes an instinctive step back and stumbles, just enough to throw him off balance. The sound of the saw changes.
The split second it takes for Buck to steady himself is a split second too long.  The saw blade flies across the room and embeds itself in the engine, but not before slicing deep into the tissue of Gerrard’s throat. Arterial blood sprays itself across Buck’s face. For a moment, everything goes quiet. Then, it descends into chaos.
Distantly, Buck hears someone shout his name. A hand grabs his shoulder and—
Firefighter needs help, I repeat—
—spins him around.
“Buck!” It’s Eddie’s voice, but Eddie—
Are you hurt?
—Eddie’s hands are on him, on his face, on his chest. They come away red and slick with blood.
“You’re okay, Buck, look at me, you’re okay.”
Go! Go, go, go go!
Buck blinks. Swallows. He tastes—
Three minutes away, we’re so close.
Eddie’s hands find his face again. “Look at me,” he says, as if Buck could ever look away. “I need you to breathe.”
I need you to hang—I need you to hang on.
Buck takes a breath, then another. There’s blood on his face. Eddie’s hands are on his face. Eddie’s hands are covered in blood. It’s not Eddie’s blood. It’s not Eddie’s blood.
There’s a siren, but Eddie’s not in the engine. Eddie’s in front of him, still standing. Eddie—
“Just like that, there you go. With me. In… and out…” His voice is calm, steady, unlabored.
“You’re—” Buck croaks.
Eddie’s eyes are wide and brown and focused. “I’m right here, Buck, keep breathing with me.”
His hand rises of its own accord and finds Eddie’s shoulder. The fabric of his t-shirt is dry and undamaged. Eddie’s brows draw together and a moment later realization seems to dawn.
“I’m okay, Buck,” he says, painfully quiet. “I’m not hurt.”
All at once, the tension that’s been keeping him upright goes. He stumbles, and without Eddie’s steadying grip, he’d probably fall. Buck blinks a few times, and the blurry world around him and Eddie comes back into focus.
Eddie’s turned him away from the engine bay, away from what must be an ocean of blood behind him. Everything he can see looks normal, but it’s unnaturally quiet. Buck lets out a shaky breath.
“Fuck,” he whispers, and it’s like shattering glass the way it breaks the silence.
Eddie’s face relaxes a fraction. “Come on, let’s get you cleaned up.”
Buck lets Eddie pull him toward the locker room and guide him down onto the bench. He’s gentle, like Buck might break if he presses just a little bit too hard. He pulls at Buck’s shirt until it comes untucked, then carefully peels it off of him, leaving shivering gooseflesh in his wake.
“I’ll be right back,” Eddie says, “I promise.”
Buck nods numbly.
Eddie slips into the bathroom, and a moment later Buck hears the sound of running water. He comes back a few seconds later with clean hands and a damp towel.
“Okay,” he says quietly. He kneels and brings the towel to Buck’s cheek. It’s warm; Eddie must’ve waited for the water to heat before wetting it.
With one hand, Eddie drags the towel in soft, short strokes across Buck’s skin. The other cups the back of his head, steadying him. Buck’s eyes flutter closed, and Eddie takes the opportunity to carefully wipe at the blood that flecks his eyelids.
Finally, Buck hears the towel drop wetly to the floor and opens his eyes.
“With me?” Eddie asks. His eyes bore into Buck’s.
“Yeah,” he rasps.
Eddie squeezes his knee and stands. “Good,” he says, turning away just long enough to fish a sweatshirt from his locker and hand it to Buck.
“Thanks.” Buck pulls the sweatshirt on and is immediately enveloped by the smell of Eddie’s laundry detergent. It settles a little more of the anxiety that’s dug itself deep into his stomach.
Eddie settles next to him on the bench and brushes their shoulders together. “You want to talk about it?”
Buck shakes his head. He doesn’t. But—
“Is he dead?”
In his peripherals, Buck sees Eddie frown. “Probably,” he says after a long moment.
“Oh.” Buck feels less about that than he thought he might. He’s neither sad nor relieved, though he suspects the apathy will fade with the shock. “Can we go home?”
Eddie huffs a soft breath that might’ve been a laugh on another day. “Yeah. Pretty sure the 118’s not going back into service until B shift gets here.”
“Who’s going to deal with…” Buck trails off.
“Not us,” Eddie says decisively. He stands and grabs both of their bags from the lockers. “Come on, I’ll drive.”
“You hate driving,” Buck says quietly.
The corner of Eddie’s mouth ticks up. “Which is why I owe you more rides than you’ll ever cash in on.”
Buck surprises himself with something close to a laugh. “Yeah, okay,” he says.
Eddie all but manhandles him into the passenger seat of the truck, lingering just a moment longer than strictly necessary, then jogs over to the driver’s side. He turns the key in the ignition and fiddles with the radio until it lands on a station playing something old and soft.
As far as Buck can tell, it’s not a song he’s heard before, but it’s warm and comfortable all the same. He relaxes into his seat and pulls the sleeves of Eddie’s sweatshirt over his knuckles. It’s loose on him, unlike the majority of Eddie’s clothing, and Buck wonders if he bought it with a day like this in mind.
Eddie taps his fingers on the wheel as he drives and glances over at Buck every time they hit a red light. He’s quiet, though, and Buck is too, grateful for the chance to gather himself in the near silence. By the time they pull into Eddie’s driveway, Buck’s starting to feel mostly like a person again.
He follows Eddie inside, and it’d probably feel like any other day if he wasn’t still wearing his uniform pants and boots.
“I’m just gonna…” Buck says, nodding toward Eddie’s bedroom as he toes out of his shoes.
Eddie steps around him and squeezes his elbow. “I’ll be in the kitchen,” he says, but it feels a little more like, ‘take all the time you need, I’ll still be here’.
Buck’s had a drawer at Eddie’s almost as long as he’s known him. He bypasses that drawer and goes straight for the one that houses Eddie’s most comfortable and threadbare pajamas. He changes into a pair of soft cutoffs, and with his uniform sheds the last of the tension in his shoulders.
He wanders into the kitchen and finds Eddie whisking eggs in a mixing bowl. Wordlessly, Buck sets the table and pours two glasses of orange juice. When he’s done, he sits, knowing exactly what Eddie will say if he offers to help with the food.
A few minutes later, Eddie carries two plates to the table. Breakfast is simple, just scrambled eggs and toast, but Eddie’s gotten good at this; the eggs are beautifully fluffy and the toast is a perfect golden brown.
“Hang on a sec,” Eddie says.
He goes over to the fridge and returns with a new, unopened jar of blueberry preserves, the kind you can only get at the farmer’s market. Buck swallows thickly, suddenly aware of just how many words are caught in his throat.
“Thanks,” he says, the only one of them he thinks will come out painlessly.
Eddie ghosts his hand along Buck’s shoulder then sits in the chair closest to his.
“Eat,” he says softly, and it’s only then that Buck realizes he hasn’t even picked up his fork.
Buck read somewhere, once, that the physical act of chewing was enough to meaningfully lower cortisol levels. He’s not actually sure if it’s true, but sitting here with Eddie, he thinks it might be. It makes sense – you don’t stop to eat until the danger has passed. You eat when you feel safe. Buck feels safe. He spreads blueberry preserves on his toast and eats.
When he’s done, Eddie grabs both of their plates and drops them in the sink. He returns to his chair.
“Do you want to talk or try to get some rest?” he asks after a long moment.
Rest sounds really good, actually, but—“I don’t think I’ll be able to sleep,” Buck admits.
“We can watch a movie,” Eddie says, offering him an out.
Buck smiles half-heartedly. “Not sure I can do that, either,” he says.
“Then tell me,” Eddie says, voice full of all the concern he hasn’t expressed yet.
“I’m not sure what to say,” Buck says, finding it to be true as soon as it leaves his mouth.
Eddie looks conflicted for a second, but then his expression steels. “When I got shot. That’s what it reminded you of, right?”
There’s a certain relief in not having to voice it himself. Buck nods.
“Okay,” Eddie says gently.
“For—for a second I wasn’t in the station anymore. It was—I know you don’t really remember anything about that day.” Buck shrugs helplessly.
“I do,” Eddie offers. “Not most of it, I mean, but…” Eddie lifts his hand to Buck’s face and brushes a thumb along the curve of his cheek.
Something Buck doesn’t have a name for clenches in his stomach.
“I have this picture of you in my head; I was never quite sure whether or not I dreamed it.”
Buck’s breath catches in his chest.
“Guess not,” Eddie says ruefully, shaking his head.
“What, um—what do you—” Buck presses his lips together as the rest of the question refuses to form in his mouth.
Eddie sighs. “We never really talked about this, did we?”
Buck frowns. “We did,” he says.
Eddie shakes his head. “We talked about me, but you were there, too.”
“I didn’t get shot, Eddie.”
“And I didn’t get struck by lightning.”
Buck looks down at his hands and realizes they’re shaking.
“I know what it feels like to watch you die, Buck,” Eddie says seriously. “And you know how it feels to be covered in my blood.”
“I know how it tastes,” Buck corrects quietly. He glances up in time to see the stricken expression on Eddie’s face.
“What?” he breathes.
“It was the only thing I could taste for weeks.” Eddie’s hands find his. “And then today, I tasted it again.”
“Buck,” Eddie says roughly. Buck’s always liked the way his name sounds on Eddie’s lips. He says it like it means something.
All at once, Buck realizes that he’s been waiting years for permission to talk about this, permission Eddie’s finally given him, and it all comes pouring out.
“I thought you were gonna die, Eds. I—I thought I was going to have the taste of your blood in my mouth for the rest of my life. And I—god, I blamed myself for—for not seeing it coming, or getting to you faster.”
Eddie’s hands tighten around his. “You got there fast enough. You saved me,” he says.
Buck laughs softly. “I know. In my head I know that, but—but it never feels like it.”
“Still?” Eddie asks.
In lieu of a response, Buck takes one of Eddie’s hands in his own and presses his fingers to the pulse point in his wrist. His heart beats strong and steady. Buck closes his eyes.
“I’m sorry,” Eddie says.
He blinks them back open. His brow furrows. “For what?”
Eddie’s lips twist painfully. “We should have talked about this a long time ago. I should’ve asked.”
Buck shakes his head. “That’s not on you.”
“I think it might be,” Eddie says.
“You got shot,” Buck says. “You’re allowed to avoid the subject.”
Eddie huffs a soft breath. “I think…” he trails off.
Buck waits, counting every beat of Eddie’s pulse against his fingertips.
“I think I was afraid that if we talked about it, I’d remember.”
“And you didn’t want to,” Buck says. “I get that.”
“It’s all so blurry,” Eddie says, “but I remember the way it hurt. I remember being afraid. But I also—there was a moment, somewhere in all that, when I wasn’t afraid anymore.”
Buck bites his lip and nods.
“And…” Eddie’s jaw tightens for a moment. “And when I think about that, I—that’s when I see you.”
Buck takes a sharp, aching breath.
Eddie watches him for a long moment until something minute shifts in his expression. “Oh,” he says softly.
“What?” Buck asks.
Eddie shakes his head. “I just—I remembered something else.”
“Do you want to…”
“I think I’m gonna need a minute with this one,” Eddie says. “But I’ll tell you. I promise.”
“You don’t have to,” Buck says.
The corner of Eddie’s mouth ticks up into a small smile. “I know.”
“Okay,” Buck says softly. He holds Eddie’s gaze for several seconds, but nothing in it scares him. It’s Eddie, warm, perceptive and sure. “I—I think I might be able to sleep.”
“Good,” Eddie says. He stands, pulling Buck up with him. “Come on.”
And just as he has every other time Eddie’s asked him to, Buck follows.

Lego still not sponsoring me (dark!Konig x fem!Reader)
Konig is a nerd who needs to get sprayed with water for being a fucking creep. You're an adorable cashier at the Lego Store in Berlin who doesn't know any better and is too nice to lose. He will have you. Mostly because he wants someone to do his Lego sets with.
Details count: 2922 AO3 TW and Tags: Dub-con/Non-con, age gap, size difference, kidnapping, awkward colonel Konig, nerd Konig, hurt/comfort, Konig's POV(mostly), awkward German, yandere Konig.
Tumblr media
You didn’t want to build Millenium Falcon with him.
You didn’t want to shower or eat, you didn’t want to do anything besides crying, and even though your tears, as he expected, were beautiful and adorable, it was kinda hard for König to take care of your mental and physical needs while he was rock hard from watching you cry so sweetly.
König is patient, kind, and a model citizen through and through. Why are you upset? He is doing everything he can, just to make you smile! Seriously, Schatzi, the desire to make him as miserable as you possibly can doesn’t make you pretty or cute or even the least bit adorable. Good thing that he is used to feeling sad and kinda of bullied – you’re lucky he doesn’t even try to feel good anymore. Not in his destiny book to live a good life. — I brought food.
You groan lightly, whimpering somewhere in the corner of his basement. To your justification, his basement is a bit dirty. He forgot to visit the house for months after deployment, which was never enough to fill out the blanks of loneliness in the empty rooms. His dogshits methods of choosing decorations also made the mere existence in the house a hard mission even in itself. He looked at the anime posters in the guest rooms, which made him want to sell the property to anyone willing to pay 50 Euros for the processing fees. The posters(Sword Art Online because why the hell not, he likes cool swords and a power fantasy about a loser getting the chick) and artwork of his queen and savior, The Busty Blond Lady From Fate because, unlike those waifu-obsessed freaks, he did have a life and not enough time to actually remember her name. Something about light sabers. Or cats. — Are you going to kill me?
He sighs because you sound like a broken record. All the time – the questions about his intentions, like you can’t see the tent in his pants every time you open your eyes, about letting you go, about at least allowing you to text your family that you decided to change your country of residence and would need to revoke your German visa. You’re way more soft than he thought you’d initially be – no fighting, no arguing, just pure terror and desire to die every time his hands brush over you. König is a sweet guy, as sweet as someone like him can be – but he only has a few weeks until his next mission, and even a few days of your moping around is bound to make him not just blue-balled, but also very, extremely, offensively hot-headed.
He spent two days with you chained up in his basement and, he thinks, that should be enough for foreplay. He is extremely generous and kind – usually, at this point, he’d already start breaking the fingers of whoever poor fuck is his torture victim for the mission.
— I don’t want to kill you.
You whimper – somehow, his answer didn’t calm you down. Fucking women and their inability to talk to their kidnappers – he considers spiking your food just this once, so he could have a nice session with your little drunk self and some roofies but, of course, he is a nice guy who brought you takeout in a reheatable container, with a cute plastic fork and some sparkling water in a glass, just so you won’t feel like he is making you eat some garbage. It’s good food, too – he’d love to cook like this, but the heights of his skills are runny eggs and burnt coffee. He hopes you like the Italian because it’s the most inoffensive stuff he could have brought you without resorting to pizza and cup noodles. He will never let you eat cup noodles on his watch.
— Are you going to rape me?
He can’t exactly say no because, as a matter of fact, pulling your cute body under his is one of his intentions. He wanted to do it since he was you in this fucking store, but, of course. saying this to a pretty girl is lame. And completely counter-productive. And would make him a villain in your eyes, even though he tries so fucking hard to be a hero. He can make you feel good if you were to just open your pretty legs for him and moan under his tongue – god knows, he wants to make you feel good. He wonders what would it take for him to please you. If he could have a full-time job at this.
— Nein. Thought I told you already.
— I don’t…I shouldn’t believe you.
He shook his head, pushing the plate(he had to go out of his way to actually put the pasta from the tray to a proper plate, enjoy this, woman) towards you. You’re adorable like this – naked, trembling, a bit too weak to actually fight him over not eating anything for the past two days – you’re repeating the same conversation over and over again and König wouldn’t mind living in a groundhog day if the loop would end with his fucking you on that thin mattress each time.
Speaking of mattresses – he needs to get you a thicker one.
Speaking of thicker mattresses – he needs to relocate you into his bedroom as soon as possible.
Speaking of his bedroom – he is fucking bricked.
— If you don’t trust me, why do you ask?
You bite your lips. He can see you’re hungry and thirsty – he doesn’t want to forcefully feed you, so, yeah, you better be very hungry very soon. He pushes the plate towards you, hoping you won’t launch it on his head. He survived worse, a 6’4 British dude in a ski mask falling on him with the speed of Brexit, but getting hit by a plate when your angry girlfriend is being an angry girlfriend is…the best thing that could ever happen to him, actually. Gott, he is miserable.
— I…I don’t know. Don’t want to get killed.
— I won’t kill you.
— But you will hurt me.
— I don’t have to do that, Liebling.
No, he doesn’t.
But he sees the way your plushy thighs are squeezing into that tiny corner where your mat is, your squishy body getting all shaky and trembly, your lips in a tight line with tiny blood droplets from biting on them too much – and, by his fucking god, you’re beautiful. He wants to make you wet, to make you squirm, to make you beg and cry for mercy as he pounds into the sweetness of your cunt. He wants to try you on the inside and out, lick you all over from the inside, and then make you lick your love juices from his lips.
König knows he is hard and can’t really hide it – it’s useless now, really, he is being very nice and considerate to you. Changing your life is hard, especially with how quickly you moved to his place – like a good boyfriend, he should help you adjust. And aid you in recognizing that he is, in fact, your boyfriend and future husband. The perfect partner to ever exist. — What is it?
— Pasta. It’s…it’s good. Should be good. He is nervous, anxious. Seeing a pretty girl in her natural habitat – a Lego store – is one thing. He was barely able to talk to you properly, especially right after his deployment, where the only female attention he ever got was Roze asking to cover her or additional female soldiers groaning in pain as he stomped them. But you…he shouldn’t be colonel around you – absolutely not. You’re soft and civilian, you’re as polite as a girl in a basement could be, and you deserve to have something nice for once in your life. Licking his lips, König gently picks up a fork and presses a small amount of pasta – rich, creamy, with some nice cheese that smells divine - -against your lips.
You refuse.
A smart move, he could have poisoned it – so he thinks for a few seconds, staring at you like a smart girlie you are, and then – lifts his hood. If only barely, revealing his scarred chin and bruised lips. The initial swelling after getting his head bumped by a guy who was speaking like an edgy teenager in the Counter-Strike lobby was already gone by the time he managed to get you into his basement – but no amount of rest could hide all other marks from his job.
Despite being a seasoned mercenary with hundreds of killed targets and completed objectives, he feels…insecure. You’re a nice girl, a good girl, the type that used to look at him with hatred while he was bullied at school. Hatred or pity – but you only look at him with fear, and it cements his understanding that you’re not going to give in to loving him so easily.
König sighs deeply, his lips, curved into that awkward, boyish smile that creeps on his face every time he as much as thinks about you, now transforming into a scowl as you proceed to whimper and try to get lost in the wall behind you. Like he wouldn’t be able to track your scent if you would disappear. He slowly presses his fork towards his mouth, chewing on the food – showing you that it’s not poisoned.
He smiles again when he sees you slowly parting your lips, expecting him to feed you with less of a fuss. He’d propose something else – maybe even untying your hands and allowing you to actually for yourself, but something in your helpless state made his cock throb in his pants. God, König knows he isn’t his strongest soldier, but could he please make you less adorable? He doesn’t want to push you on your knees and make you suck on him until he whimpers, but the way you lick all of the cheese from your lips and try your best to look presentable in front of him… The process of feeding someone shouldn’t really be sexual, but König gently pushes the hair away from your face and lifts up the fork over and over, sometimes only changing to bring a glass of water to your lips. He can do this all day. Every day. Pleasing you already becomes second nature – and he spends most of his life thinking that the only thing he can take care of is his rifle and a few tortured enemies that need their teeth extracted. You require gentle handling – and he wants nothing more but to give you that. Just…a bit later. Preferably after the already came in your pussy at least two or three times and made you choke on his dick as a little thank-you gift.
You finish eating after a short while, thanking him for bringing you a napkin to clean your lips. König gently caresses your head, enjoying the sensation of your hair under his palm – it’s like petting a cat. A soft little pet just for him and no one else – if only he could actually bring you to like him. He has a few bond activities in mind, though. — You liked it, ja?
You lick your lips again, and his breath hitches. This is going to be hard, this is going to be impossible, it’s worse than having to work with high Krueger on a ship that made everyone feel like they were the ones doing crack in the backroom of their makeshift base.
— I…I did.
He pets your head again like you’re his pet – and you gently move your head to lean into his touch. Perhaps you’re dumber than he thinks. Or way smarter – a clever strategy to make him relax and nice to you without making him too suspicious. You slowly get back into your corner, but König wouldn’t have any of it – he drags you back by your arm, making you whimper and sob in his hold. It’s bad, he doesn’t want you to squirm from under him as much as you do, but…if you don’t want to be a good girl, he might as well force you to.
You cry as he pushes you deep into the corner, his hands roaming over your body. Thank god he ripped your clothes before you woke up – now there isn’t anything protecting you from his hands, not even that adorable bra he ripped in pieces because, as much as he loved wearing a uniform with straps and buttons everywhere, he could not figure out how to take this thing off you without breaking it. The last time he was sleeping with a woman, she wore a sports bra that could be taken off easily. It’s your fault that you decided to be more girly, really. Not his.
His hands cup your breasts roughly. Tugs and twists your nipples, a few shaky moans telling him exactly how sensitive you are – he might not have a girl in a hot minute, too busy with being the best freaking mercenary in the world, but even he knows how to take care of a pretty thing like you. Your tits fit in his hands perfectly, even more, reasons to believe you were just made for him. Not for some lame job at a Lego store counter – you should be waiting on your knees in his bedroom, with your mouth open wide and neat to fit his cock right in. With some sweet things lingering on your tongue as he bullies himself right in, getting what he deserves for protecting peace – and installing violence – while doing his job. He might not be the best freaking guy around, but he deserves something nice.
He pinches your nipples until they’re firm and swollen, every little cry escaping from your lips is only encouraging him to proceed. Licks on the open skin of your neck until his eneve stubble makes you whimper from how sensitive you are – it should be painful, he thinks, with how bloody the little bite marks from his teeth have become.
König marks you as thoroughly as possible, smiling each time you cry and beg for him to stop. You’re changing between bad German and good English, between loud cries and small whimpers, which he can’t determine from pleasure to pain. Not like he cares, too determined to make you cry his name – even though you probably don’t know it. All of his desires to claim you taking full power now, not listening to the way you plead with him. Whimper for him. Your skin is a clear canvas, allowing him to paint you with hickeys and marks, enjoying the little blood droplets covering your collarbones.
— Quiet, please. Don’t…don’t move, Schatzi. I don’t want to hurt you.
— Please, please, just…anything but… — Won’t take long. Promise.
— I don’t want to- — Quiet. I know you don’t, Liebling. Just…Scheisse, you…fuck.
— Stop! — Can’t. I apologize, Schatzen. Relax for me, ja?
He whispers, he whimpers, he is almost out of his mind when he can finally put his tongue on your swollen nipples. For some weird, depraved reason, he almost expects the milk to start flowing from your chest, allowing him to drink up as much as he wants. If he could get you pregnant, he might enjoy it for a few months – although having a kid on his hip isn’t as fun as it could have. He tried to babysit Hutch kids once when he brought them to base – and it was the worst fucking day of his life. Besides, little children can’t be around Legos – it's already a deal breaker for someone like him.
Speaking of legos…
You wiggle in his grasp, as good as you can with your hands still in the handcuffs – he should give you that one, at least you aren’t just laying lifelessly in front of him. At least you’re putting up a fight. At least he doesn’t feel too bad about restraining you without proper reasoning. You lick your lips again, that cute tongue of yours going over all the bite marks. You take a deep breath, shaking in his hold. God, he can just look in your face the whole day – barely knows how to handle himself around you. — I…I thought you wanted to…build this set with me? Smart girl. Way smarter than he gave you credit for – you know how to make him stop in his tracks and finally look at you differently. Maybe, you’re too good for him. Maybe, he doesn’t really care about that. Millennium Falcon, still sitting in the box – König hoped you’d start slowly putting it together but, seemingly, you need a bit of encouragement. The only thing that could tug him away from your breasts is the expensive set sitting just next to him.
Might start bonding with you as well. He tugs away from your nipples with a loud pop, an obnoxiously wet sound emerging as a thin line of saliva connects your breasts and his tongue. You whimper when he smiles, that scarred face of his twisting in a huge grin. Knows he’s not the most charming person around, but it’s not like you have any choice now – not with the limited options he gave you. Like a good girl, you’d probably pick doing Lego Sets with him than taking his cock in that tight pussy of yours. He’d be satisfied with any outcome. — J…ja. I’d like that.  He has to give this one to you – you really know how to get a man going.
Bu building this insane set with him, that is.

tw: smut MDNI, hopeless romance, drunk/tipsy sex, Abby is g!p, fingering & head.
pairing: G!P Abby x Inexperienced!Florist!Reader

Moving to Seattle wasn’t really the plan but getting out of your small town was exactly what you needed. Don’t get me wrong small towns are cute and everything's laid out for you but seeing the same old faces and going to the same old places gets tiring. And you can’t like getting away from the drama that your ex had caused was what you longed for. But having a hot roommate…you definitely did not plan for it.
Her name was Abby. She was very muscular with sort of a dusty blonde/brunette thing going on obviously the female definition of a dilf. She would go to the gym every morning which would leave you time to have the house to yourself in order to get ready for whichever job you were working. She also happened to pass by every time she was leaving the gym.
Sometimes she would come by and speak just to take a look at the fresh flowers that came in ever so often. You could obviously tell she had a green thumb the way she would cater to the ones in the apartment. Overall she was cool but that all changed randomly when she invited you out, even though you were quite busy with whatever shifts you managed to pick up.
The bell on the front shop door rings announcing someone entering. “Welcome to Bloomscape, what can I help you with?” You say putting down the spray bottle after watering the flowers behind the counter. You turn around to meet none other than Abby. Just your luck. “Oh hey Abby, the new peonies are out front if you’re-” “Would you like to go out with me?” She says, you realize her face is slightly red but you brush it off assuming she had an intense workout today. “Sorry with a couple friends not like…that.” She explains making you nod your head in understanding. Not going to lie that hurt a little bit. Like a slow jab to your heart. “Oh yeah sure…what time?” You question “Around 8pm you should be off by then right?” She asks. You nod your head and after working out the details she leaves rather quickly (and quite flushed if I do say so myself) not even looking at the peonies out front. Weird.
After closing up shop and making your way back to the apartment you walk in to realize she’s already invited her friends over to pregame. Assuming that’s what it was anyway you peek in the living room and say hello. “Hello!” You say as you wave at all 3 of them in the living room. “Oh shit- Guys this is the friend I invited out with us!” She says, gesturing for them to introduce themselves to you. “Hello, I’m Dina, these two shithead's friends.” One says pushing Abby's shoulder. “I’m Ellie.” Another quite attractive one says waving back to you shyly (if i do say so myself) “I’ll go get ready, nice to meet you guys!” You walk to your room and before you can even shut the door you hear Ellie saying that you’re “Smoking hot.” Smiling ear to ear you close the door before you can hear any further and start to get ready.
You walk out of your room and walk into the kitchen going in the fridge to search for a beer. When you feel a hand on your waist you jolt up meeting Abby. “Hey calm down darlin’.” She almost laughs out and hands you a beer knowing you’re searching for one. You take the beer smiling slightly, thanking her and closing the fridge. After an hour of pregaming you they decide it’s time to go to the bar. “Everybody set to go?” Abby questions looking at everyone grabbing her keys.
Hour 2 in the bar Dina and Ellie are the only ones looking groggy and soggy but you and Abby are having the time of your lives. You never knew that you and Abby had so much music taste in common. As the night started to grow older and older they started to play slower, more romantic music. You take your seat at the bar sipping your drink by Dina and Ellie who are both by now practically eye fucking each other.
You were about to go outside for a smoke when your thought was interrupted by a light tap on your shoulder. “Hey, do you mind dancing with me?” Abby asks with her face growing more red by the second. “Uh yeah of course” You smile. As soon as you two hit the middle of the floor she immediately puts her hands on your waist pulling you closer to her. You look up at her with big doe eyes and that’s when you start to feel the liquor finally hit you because she looks good enough to eat at this moment. She nuzzles your neck as your bodies practically become one. “I need you.” She whispers in your ear making you gasp which gives her enough time to slip her tongue into your mouth and take you in a devastating kiss.
As she pulls back from your lips you shoot her a confused look. “I thought you-” She shushes you putting her finger up to your lips. “Take a cab with me.” Abby demands taking your hand interlocking your fingers with hers as she makes her way through the sea of people on the dance floor. She gets up to the bar giving Ellie enough money to get a cab and pay for the drinks. As she reaches the outside she pauses for a moment taking in the cool spring breeze compared to the hot atmosphere of the bar. You’ve never really taken a moment to really soak in Abby’s features. Her hair which she rarely let down blowing with the wind. And oh gosh- her nose looks like you could ride that for days at a time.
You get so taken up in your thoughts you didn’t realize she was staring right back at you. “Can I have my face back?” She jokes you lightly jabbing her shoulder. “Jeez, I’m just joking…that hurt a bit.” Abby says pouting and rubbing her shoulder softly. “Aw, is the baby hurt?” You say mocking her pouting and rubbing your shoulder. “Yeah yeah whatever lets start walking weirdo.” She says rolling her eyes rather sassily.
Weirdo. Weirdo? WEIRDO?? “You want to talk about weird? Let’s talk about how you always treat me like a little sister and then randomly kiss me.” You sass back at her, narrowing your eyes as you two begin your journey back to the apartment. “I’ll do it again.” Abby treats this as if were a threat to your safety as she can’t seem to choose between looking at your lips or your eyes. “Whatever sass-factor!” You roll your eyes at her crossing your arms.
Back at the apartment you assume you two are just going to go your separate ways again like this never happened.“So…we just go our separate ways?” You mumble out just above a whisper as your vision starts to blur from tearing up. “What if we didn’t?” Abby says taking a step closer to you. “What if?” You accept the challenge, taking another step towards her. Abby pulls you closer by your waist and takes off your jacket for you, discarding it on the sofa. Followed by taking off her own and dropping it right by her feet. “What if?” She quirks an eyebrow staring straight at your glossy lips. After that she just couldn’t play this little game you were playing with her anymore as she takes you in another breathtaking kiss and lifts you up like you’re nothing.
You straddling her waist as she sets you down on the bed, her kneeling in front of you making full eye contact as she takes off your shoes for you. She looks up at you resting her hands on your thighs. “Do I have your consent?” Abby asks, peering into your eyes. God's consent is sexy. “Yes.” You nod. Abby follows this with sliding down your underwear and pinning you to the mattress, her on top of you. She then takes two fingers and taps on your lips asking demanding for entrance. “Suck.” She orders as you open your mouth and swirl your tongue around her digits.
“Good girl” She praises. She then takes them out of your mouth leaving a string of saliva as she lifts up your dress and starts to coat her fingers in your arousal and insert them up until her knuckles. The length of her fingers makes you immediately grab her wrist moaning. “Fuck! Abby…” You pant out as she starts to pick up the pace, shouting her name like it’s a mantra. “Thaaat’s it baby take it.” She affirms as the knot in your stomach comes undone faster and faster. “Gonna cum…” You mumble out making her grab your chin realizing she wants to see your reaction as you eat up the pleasure she was dishing out.
As you feel your release coating her fingers and your surroundings becoming more and more fuzzy by the second. You sit up seeing her licking her fingers clean making full eye contact with you. By the time her fingers are practically wrinkly from the hydration they were getting she turns you around and starts unlacing your dress. Grazing her fingertips lightly on the skin of your back. “Your skin is so soft…” Abby says just above a whisper.
She starts kissing you and leaving little love bites and marks that’ll surely bruise in the morning. You hear her start to strip behind you and just as she’s taking off her boxers you get a good glimpse of what’s to come. And you start to turn around and make full contact with her long, thick, blushed precum dripping shaft. More so gawking at it because she definitely noticed while taking off her shirt.
“You wanna touch it?” She asks, reaching out to grab your hand, as she guides your hand onto the base of it. “Don’t be scared mama.” Abby chuckles, still guiding your hand to slowly stroke it making her grunt. As she slowly softens her grip and lets you take control, throwing her head back in pleasure grunting loudly. She grabs your chin absentmindedly removing your hand and picking up the pace as her eyes sear into your soul as she motions for you to open your mouth.
Followed by multiple grunts and curses she finally releases ropes of herself onto your tongue. As you close your mouth and swallow the liquid. “Hands and knees” Abby demands with low lidded eyes. You follow her instructions in a daze as she grabs a hold on your hips, forcing you to arch your back. Abby cautiously slides the tip in after realizing how tight you were, grunting in pleasure as a response. “Fuuuck” She mumbles out her eyes closed as you squeeze around her length. As she takes her time inch by inch she eventually bottoms out. This feels good of course but she can hear you whimper as you taste the saltiness of your tears.
Abby slowly starts to pick up a steady pace as you start to reach back trying to slow her down as the tears come down more frequently. “Nuh uh baby you can take it” She says in between grunts swatting your hand away as you grip the sheets. As her pace quickens she pulls you up by your shoulder, taking that hand and wrapping it around your throat. She then takes her other hand from your hip and starts rubbing your sensitive clit.
Your eyes roll back in your head as she tops that off by kissing your neck, knowing by the way you were growing louder she knew you were close to your orgasm. Abby reaches an unimaginable pace and that’s when you feel it hit you like a tsunami. As you feel her warm seed fill you up and mix with yours you finally come down from the drunken, fuzzy high you two were in. You feel her pull out and the mix of you guys’ climax slide down your legs.
After you two showered together and put on pajamas you both lie in the bed, her spooning you. You’ve dozed off a while ago as she just admires your beauty in the moonlit room. Brushing the hair out of your face, she pecks your temple and dozes off along with you.

Minho went first into the water. No sooner had his feet left the last step than he plunged into the water, spraying a cooling spray over you. When he emerged, he looked like a water god or a merman or your godmerman boyfriend. Droplets of water raced down his face and over his freshly smeared chest as he pushed his hair out of his eyes. You couldn't tell if you were drooling so loudly or someone else was doing it near you at the same time. It could easily have been a collective reaction to Mr. Lee Minho.
"Are you guys gonna stand there all day?" he inquired with a sly smile, when you were all still sculpting on the stairs, staring at him.
You snapped out of your stupor and gripped the mattress you'd been entrusted to care for. Chan stepped into the water and then helped moving the mattresses into the water. Fortunately, the surface was mirror-smooth and there was no need to worry about being swept away by wild waves. Chan alone was able to shepherd each one until you all got into the water to claim one for the hour or even the day.
Felix squashed his shoulders with one hand, then climbed into the doughnut-patterned wheel. Changbin followed, and leaning his muscular arms on the mattress, he began to pace inwards.
"Cold!" cried Jisung, and stepped back ob the previous stair.
"No, you're the one who's hot," you replied, and to back up your claim, you walked into the water. Your feet sank softly into the mud, the cooling water wrapping around the lower part of your belly. You hissed, because the contrast with your skin was really stark, but you got used to the water almost immediately. "You'll soon get used to it," you promised, and then you sank down until water caressed your shoulders. It was ticklingly pleasant to cool off in the heat.
"Or I could help you get over it quickly," Jeongin offered, his soaking wet T-shirt floating around him while he opened his arms for the other. Jisung shook his head violently. "Why are you being so resistant now, hyung? You really wanted to be near me on the beach."
Jisung didn't say anything, but instead waded into the water at a fast pace. But there were shells hiding under the mud in several places. Sharp shells. He successfully waded into one.
"Ouch!" He threw himself onto the nearest mattress, which happened to be the double.
Chan looked at the wound and found it was bleeding only a little. Jisung assured you that it didn't hurt that much, of course he didn't object when you instructed him to stay on the mattress. He reached out in a starfish formation. He even closed his eyes. You smiled at how calm his ever-moving self seemed. You didn't despise the thought of him resting. You would have liked to have done something for the cause, which is what you did. You grabbed the end of the mat and aimed for the red and blue buoy not too far away.
The boy squinted as he called your name questioningly.
"I'll take care of you, rest your leg."
Still, learning from his example, you swam leaning on the mattress like Changbin rather than striding. The water splashed softly around the mattress as you picked your way. The sunlight glistened like diamond crystals on the surface. It was like you were bathing in melted diamond ice. You enjoyed being here and were proud that you had made it up to come. If no one else had thought of it, you'd still be at home, tossing and turning in the stuffy living room hoping for salvation from the low-powered fan.
As you patted yourself on the back in thought, Seungmin approached Chan.
"Do you think you could race me to the buoy?"
Chan blinked uncomprehendingly in response.
"You know," Seungmin grinned. "Your old bones and tired lungs. We're putting you in danger now, too, by not putting you in a stirrup. At your age..."
"You'll fucking lose." Chan's eyes darkened.
"We'll see, grandpa," Seungmin said defiantly, and prepared for the start.
At the same time, they kicked off and took aim at the buoy. Long arms dragging and splashing water marked their way. Minho, Jeongin and Hyunjin, the self-appointed judges, watched their fierce competition intently.
"Maybe we should take Seungmin seriously," Hyunjin stated, putting his arm under his head on the garish neon single mat with a sigh. In the other hand, he clutched his chilled Monster.
"What do you mean? He can beat Chan hyung?" asked Jeongin. "Seungmin hyung really pissed off Chan hyung again. I think Chan hyung will win. Can I have a sip?"
"Are you sure you want it from the can?" Hyunjin's bold offer only elicited a grimace from the younger man. "I haven't given up on kissing you today, just saying." But he handed over the drink anyway. "I think Chan will win, too. But damn, we should take it seriously that Seungminnie thinks he's a gilf!"
Minho laughed in disbelief, and Jeongin almost let the fizzy sip out through his nose.
"A what does he think he is?" croaked Jeongin. He slapped his palm against his chest through his soaked T-shirt.
"Gilf. Sexy grandpa he'd take to bed. I asked him the other day if it was a real kink of his, and he gave me a pillow over my face."
"Looks like you got your answer," Minho said wisely.
"Think about it for a moment! Granddaddy kink. Punish me, Papa Chan, I've been a bad grandchild!"
"Bleh."
"Could it be that you have such a hidden tendency, baby? You're very passionate about the subject," Minho mused.
"No thanks. I'll be interested in wrinkly old men when you become wrinkly old men. We have about thirty-five years before then."
"If you ask Seungmin, Chan only has a few years left. All in all... Don't hold out your hand, hyung, I won't give it back. I've got half-naked old men in my head, and it's your fault!"
"If we'd kissed, I'd have kept my mouth shut, and I wouldn't have talked about such things!"
The competitors were almost at the buoy when the discussion of gilfs was over. They were still neck and neck.
"Do you want to bet?" Minho turned to them after taking stock of the situation. "You on Chan, me on Seungmin?"
"On what?"
Minho shared his idea of the stakes with a wide, impish grin on his face. The others were in.
Chan pulled another one with his arm and grabbed the buoy. He only realized that one hemisphere was bird-shitted after shaking the wet strands from his face. Though even the fact that he'd probably touched a dried blob didn't put him off. He grinned and threw himself into Seungmin's neck.
"Well? Who's the grandpa?"
"Hyung!" Seungmin stomped in the water in frustration. "Don't push me down! My feet won't reach!"
Chan let go, still chuckling contentedly.
"Here we come!" you tempoed towards them with the mat. "Hang on!"
You were determined to get to them as quickly as possible. Too much so. Your right leg couldn't take it. It cramped from the calf to the sole of the foot.
"Oh, fuck!" Immediately you staggered and hovered, clutching the mattress. "Engine trouble! Engine trouble!"
"What happened?" sat up Jisung.
"I got a cramp," you hissed in agony. "It's like I've had sharp stones placed in my leg."
"Can you climb up?" Chan and Seungmin came to help you.
"I don't know."
Jisung pulled you up onto the mat, the ones in the water pushing you. They were careful not to touch your aching feet. You stretched out on your belly when they're done putting you up.
"Sungie, will you cuddle our new injured while I try to rub out the knot?" Chan looked helpfully at your friend after he touched the edge of your foot, and you immediately hissed.
"Of course, hyung." Jisung hugged your sprawled out self and rested his head on yours.
Chan squeezed your leg, slowly working his way through it; his thumbs on the sole of your foot, the edge of his palm on the edge of your foot, his fist on your ankle, the knuckle on either side. It was pleasant and painful at the same time. This sensual uncertainty was expressed in your sighs. Meanwhile, Seungmin slowly pushed the mattress full of aquatic casualties outwards.
"Okay." Chan stopped massaging. "How is it?"
"Better," you muttered, half-climbing Jisung. So far, he hadn't complained about your wet skin on his sun-drenched skin. So, as soon as you no longer needed to dangle your legs off for Chan and were properly positioned, you snuggled right into Jisung's arms. You wrapped your arms around his waist, and your legs around his. You rested your head on his chest and breathed with him. His heart pounded soothingly, the sound mingling with the tiny ripples of the waves and the soft noises of Chan’s and Seungmin’s quiet conversation. Your body felt heavy on the mattress, but also light.
"I think I'm going to fall asleep."
"Keep dreaming about my wedding, okay? I'm really curious to see what happens after the ceremony."
"Chaos, I guess," you smiled. "We usually make chaos in real life, too."
"I like our own private chaos," Jisung admitted.
"Me too."
By the time Seungmin and Chan reached Minho and the others, you were asleep.
"We saw right that Chan hyung won, didn't we?" asked Jeongin, as he ceremoniously splashed another dose of water on Hyunjin to keep him from getting too warm. He was hot enough on his own.
Chan nodded. "I won."
Seungmin rolled his eyes.
"It was a clear win. Anyone who saw otherwise should buy new eyes," Hyunjin advised, winking at Jeongin.
"Your opinion doesn't matter," Seungmin huffed. "You see the world in pink."
Hyunjin pushed the Barbie-coloured sunglasses down the bridge of his nose. He hummed.
"Looks like it's not the sunglasses. I still see a sulking loser who underestimated a sexy twenty-six-year-old-"
Splash.
Hyunjin splashed into the water so loudly that you woke up and looked around, lost as to what the hell had happened. A helicopter? Or were the aliens coming?
You had to realize that the situation was worse. Hyunjin rose from the water. With wet glasses and hair. Oh yeah, he didn't even want a drop of water in his hair, and now it was all hanging in a stringy blonde bun on the back of his head. It's unfortunate that he fell-
"You asshole..." the boy cursed lowly, frighteningly.
Oh.
Oh.
"What are you waiting for? Run!" shouted Jisung.
Seungmin turned and ran towards Changbin and Felix, who were chilling in the distance. The only chance he had, as far as you knew, was to reach them. Felix could calm down the enraged Hyunjin the easiest.
But considering that less than half an hour ago, Seungmin raced with might and main to defeat Chan, his strength was not yet fully recharged. In contrast, Hyunjin's every muscle was fuelled by anger and revenge. He threw himself after Seungmin like a bloodthirsty monster, lashing out at the water with fierce speed. The distance shortened with every movement.
Seungmin had little chance, and was soon losing it. Hyunjin grabbed him and dragged him under the water like a siren that had been sucking bones for days instead of chubby sailors. The waves crashed over their heads, and the water held secrets of what was happening between them.
Hyunjin came out first. He took out his hair scrunchie and shook his blond locks like a buckled golden retriever. As he walked to Changbin and Felix, he no longer looked stiff and tense. Seungmin just stuck his head out of the water. He looked like a sad puppy. When he emerged fully from the foam, he came crawling back to you, and he wasn’t in the mood for playful insults. He rubbed his hips and lowered his head.
"It was... It was something," Chan said.
"It was an accident. I just wanted to shut him up," Seungmin muttered.
"I think that's what Hyunjin wanted too, but not with your hand," replied Minho.
"He's in a kissing mood today, and he keeps talking about you. Probably even now," Jeongin added.
"I can imagine the things he says. What an asshole I am, and- Jisung, what are you doing?"
When Jisung pulled Seungmin closer to the mat, you noticed what he was rubbing on his hip. A reddened bite mark, clearly made by Hyunjin during their water fight.
"I'll give you a healing kiss," Jisung explained, and even though his back was turned to you, you knew how his eyes glittered because Seungmin's expression softened and he didn't fight back. So with eager caution, Jisung showered the bite mark with tiny kisses.
"When Sungie's done with you, you can have this place," you patted the float.
"Are you sure?" asked Seungmin.
"You need it more than I do." Though you weren't exactly sure whether you meant the mattress and the relaxing float without the swim or Jisung's hugs, you offered both to Seungmin anyway, to make him feel better.
Someone gently stroked your thigh. You looked down and Chan looked back at you uncertainly. "Are you really well enough?"
You nodded.
"I don't feel any pain at all anymore. And the new injured needs my place."
"Today seems to be one of those days, doesn't it?" Chan smiled faintly. "We’re unlucky."
"Definitely. Yesterday was a food-burning day, today is vulnerable. I wonder what tomorrow will be like."
"I've got a couple of tips," Minho rejoined the conversation.
"Of course, hyung." Jeongin drummed on the pillow part of the orphaned, single person mattress. "Except that every day is cat cuddling day."
Jisung had finished kissing and was laying his head on Seungmin's belly, the other stroking Jisung's hair.
"Aw, you're sweet... Our little sweeties" sighed Chan.
"Even you could get hurt, hyung," Seungmin said, still with no edge in his voice. "The older you get, the older your bones-"
"I suggest you don't finish that sentence if you don't want anyone else to bite you," Chan advised, and though he was still grinning with his dimples visible, his eyes were dull.
He found it hard to take it when Seungmin - or Jisung sometimes - called him old, and went out of his way to prove that in his mid-twenties he was not old at all.
Seungmin returned the smile, but his mouth remained closed. You switched places with him, and your toes sank back into the mud. Meanwhile, you saw Minho whispering something to Jeongin. You could read four words: maybe, Hyunjin, right and gilf. Although the last one didn't seem like a real word. You probably misunderstood.
"You're whipped," you shared your judgment with Chan, who still looked at Seungmin and Jisung.
He chuckled.
"Can you blame me?"
"No. I understand." You could imagine your heart beating to the same rhythm in that moment as an ancient sign of agreement. As if to test you, Chan pressed a kiss to your wrist.
"Are either of you going to get on the mattress, or are you just going to keep looking at each other from now on?" Jeongin asked.
"Climb on, baby!" you poked your head towards the mattress. "You deserve it. While I was sleeping sloppily, I thought I heard something about you winning a contest?"
"Yeah, I did. After all, my old bones aren't so old after all." He could not conceal his pride in the matter.
"Not at all. None of you are old. You're not old. Maybe after retirement. But then only maybe."
"Or I won't retire," Chan shrugged.
"Yeah, I expected that from you," you playfully nudged him with your shoulder. And he returned it.
"I'm starting to regret betting against you," Minho said as Chan sprawled out on the mat, and it was clear that he wasn't (just) going to the gym to stare at Changbin. "Your old bones are still pretty fit."
"Thank you? I think?" Chan covered his eyes with his forearm to keep the sun out. The flexing of his biceps was an aesthetic delight. "What did you bet?"
"Cocktails," Minho replied. "I can't tell you any more, or there'll be no surprises."
"Surprise?" Jisung cocked his head, but Seungmin grumbled something and pulled him back. Maybe they kissed? Since no one was holding the twin matress anymore, they drifted away from you at a slow pace. You didn't have a good view of what was happening between them.
"Should I be scared?" asked Chan.
"If you don't like it, I'm not going to throw myself on you and bite your body to pieces," Minho reassured him. "I'll only do that if you want me to," he winked, his fingers stroking Chan's stomach muscles. "And there's not much room around here anyway..." Minho touched the outline of a bite mark. Chan's muscles tightened under his touch.
You leaned closer to examine the artifact. The skin did indeed bear teeth marks. In more than one place. You couldn't tell at a glance whose. Or if it was even a creation of one person.
"Poor, poor Chanie," Minho shook his head. "Did the vampire come for your abs?"
"Um, er, let's get back to cocktails," Chan suggested. From the way he had his whole face tucked under his forearm, you guessed he'd like to be a turtle at this point.
"Cocktails, hmm?" Minho grinned. His thumb slipped under Chan's swim trunks and slowly caressed his hip. "If you're up for that, you can have sex on the beach with me."
"Only the cocktail." Chan replied neutrally. He was immune to most sexual overtures. He didn't collapse off the mattress like you almost did, or look like he was about to run out of the world at any moment like Jeongin. Nor did he fly off into the reeds like the duck that had been swimming nearby. He was good at hiding his embarrassment, especially with such forearm gifts.
However, if someone approached him with a cute flirty line, he become a fluttered mess.
"Are you sure you just want the cocktail? I saw a willow tree on the beach, wide enough to cover us if we-"
"Just a cocktail, hyung, nothing else," Jeongin said, and turned on his disapproving stare. He did almost as well as Hyunjin. Then he formed a funnel from his hand and exclaimed. "Will someone please save me from Minho hyung?"
Though he was obviously addressing your fellow boyfriends, some of the scattered bathers and fishermen of the lake snapped their heads to him. It's lucky Jeongin hadn't blurted out that Minho's sexual proposition had blown his mind. There were children swimming in the water with their families. Which reminded you of the Jisung-Seungmin duo and to catch them before they got too deep into, well, something on the mattress. And they were getting closer to the stones.
Minho already made his way towards them after acknowledging Jeongin's theatrical outburst with a cheerful titter. You didn't have to deal with that any longer, so you could calmly volunteer to protect Jeongin.
"I'll save you, Innie!"
"You're probably worse than him."
"Excuse me?" The other words caught in your throat in surprise.
You were used to being praised. You were nice because you helped with the cooking. You let Changbin hold your hand, unlike Hyunjin, and things like that. You were a good example. Until then, it seemed.
"You turned everyone on the beach against me. Remember?"
"I didn't have to turn," you defended yourself. "Everyone wanted you."
"I thought you were better than this." His accusatory words got to your heart and your hand clenched into a fist. What drama! And Jeongin has yet to deliver the coup de grace. "But you're just like them."
"Well... I couldn't hide it forever," you sighed dramatically, then threw a kiss at him.” Yes, the grandmother in me wants to squish your cheeks until they're red. And my cuteness aggression is like a giant monster..." You curled your fingers into claws and grinned as you moved towards him. "It's going to get bigger and bigger until I can quell the impulse by smooching all over your face!"
You threw yourself towards him,  causing Jeongin to cry out. He splashed water at you, then tried to run away, unfortunately you didn't want him to get away. You both ended up playing catch around Chan in the water until you got so close to the mattress that the poor guy fell off. Both of you stopped and watched anxiously as he emerged from the foam.
You really hoped he hadn't washed his hair recently.
"Hyung, are you okay?"
"Did you get hurt?"
Chan shook his head like a dog. The mattress flipped upside down and floated beside him.
"You two..." he whispered. "Come here!" With that he splashed water in your direction, laughing as he chased after you.
You were running around in the water, water level varied according to the silt, so you didn't have to swim all the time, and there were no shell traps hidden in your path.  Still, Chan caught you both. He hunted you down separately. The boy rested up from the race and showed once again that he was far from grandfatherly. When he caught you, he swung your struggling bodies onto his shoulders and carried you back to the mattress, where he laid you side by side.
"Are you having a good time, by the way?" he asked, swimming to the side where your upper bodies hung off the mattress. You nodded vigorously, but Jeongin merely shrugged.
"It's alright."
"Alright?"
"Not our best beach time," he explained. He didn't look bored, just listless. At that moment, you decided you wanted to see his happiest smile.
Before sunset.
"It could still be the best," you told him. "What would you like? I'd love to take you to the buoy and everything."
The boy frowned. "What happens if your leg cramps up again?"
From the look on Chan's face, he shared Jeongin's concern. You've put their fears to rest.
"Then you'll be Rose and I'll be DiCaprio."
"No! I don't want you to be DiCaprio!" Jeongin made a rather desperate face. He practically begged you not to be DiCaprio. You took his hand and looked romantically into his eyes.
"You still love me, Innie?"
"Of course I love you, dummy." Jeongin patted you on the head, then grinned. "Otherwise, I wouldn't have groped you on the beach."
Jeongin spoke proudly of the groping. Even if you had explained to Hyunjin that there were cracks in the boy's image of innocence, he would not have believed you. Jeongin hid it with precision if he wanted to.
"I'll give Innie a lift. I think I need to cool him down," Chan decided. "Are you coming with us?"
You shook your head.
"I don't think I'm swimming anymore today." The mention of the cramp and its possible return put you off. On the other hand, you had to strategize how to cheer Jeongin up.
The two headed for the buoy, and you craned your neck to see if either side of the two-person mattress was free. You couldn't see it, but Changbin waved in your direction. You waved back and headed that way.
"My love!" he greeted excitedly, wrapping you in his arms. You didn't resist even a little. "We haven't seen each other since we came in. Will you let me push you?"
"Just what I needed, someone to push me."
"In that case, we're perfect for each other."
If you were Chan, you would have thrown yourself into the water in embarrassment or giggled. You were only almost Chan, so you were simply mentally kicking your feet, and you wanted to cover up the fact of your own embarrassment with Changbin's, so you grabbed his face and pressed a tiny kiss to his lips.
"Exactly."
You climbed up onto the mattress. Now that you were alone, you were completely stretched out. Then you took the lay of the land. Not far from you, a bald man was swimming. There was a zoo of mats in the direction of the man's progress: crocodile, dolphin, unicorn, penguin. To the right of the zoo, you spotted two familiar blondes with a donut float, and Jisung and Seungmin, who seemed intent on throwing Minho into the water.
You closed your eyes and enjoyed Changbin's generosity in the gently rippling water. The next time you opened them was when a wet body crawled onto the mattress beside you. He dripped down your shoulders and arms as he positioned himself and took your hand. He smelled of lake water, sunscreen and tropical deodorant.
"I thought you were Minho."
"If I were Minho, I wouldn't have reached for your hand," Felix replied. You smiled at that, and you couldn’t argue with this statement.
You stroked the back of his hand. Felix's hand felt tiny in yours. It was almost lost, so you were glad to find it with every flick of your fingertip.
Intimately, you were lost in each other's gaze. There was some kissing on the doorstep, no doubt about it. In truth, it's a miracle you've come this far and haven't seen anyone making out, or found yourself in the middle of a make-out session. You couldn't be sure about Jisung and Seungmin when they were on the mattress, and you didn't want to ask Minho what he saw. You wouldn't get rid of his references for at least a week.
"Minho is here now," Felix reported.
"Nice ass," Minho hummed, and gave Felix another slap.
"'Hi to you, too,” you greeted him with a playful sneer.
The moment was not broken, just merely transformed. It was an interesting trump card of your relationship: you couldn't spoil each other's moments, only transform them or make them more complete.
"What fun are you doing?"
"Well, I think we were about to kiss before you grabbed Felix's heavenly half-globe..."
Felix's nicely arched eyebrows furrowed.
"My heavenly what?"
"You heard me right," you countered.
"I just want to hear it from your lips one more time."
"Maybe after you kiss me."
"Yeah?" Felix grinned wryly.
"Yes."
Before Felix could kiss you, however, you spied around the mattress. No families with small children or curious entities anywhere. Great. It was impossible to kiss Felix briefly, and it was reassuring to know that no one would witness you getting lost in his mouth and seeing the afterlife in a flash. Except, of course, for Minho, who watched with interest from behind Felix and leaned in closer to see everything, and Changbin, who was leaning against the end of the mattress, no longer pacing but watching you.
"What is it? Do you want someone else too?" Felix stroked your cheek.
"Binnie seems very devoted..."
He looked like he would let the whole world burn down just to be part of this moment.
"Don't worry about him now. He's had more kisses than he can count." Felix's fingertip brushed your bottom lip. "How many did you?"
"In the water or out of it?"
"Not much, then. I'll fix the problem right away. Just relax," he murmured against your skin, and as eager as you were to relax, you only got more and more agitated. Your condition wasn't helped by the fact that you had a view of Minho's burning stare over Felix's shoulder and wet hair. By the time Felix took your bottom lip between his teeth, you were wriggling like an egg about to hatch. When he let go and licked slowly over your lips, and his palm sliding over your chest, it was over. You ran out of patience and grabbed his hair, pulling him closer. Your tongues clashed, your teeth clacked, and you didn't want to stop. How could you when Felix's hand was gripping your hip, moaning higher and lower against your mouth? It just wasn't enough in any way.
Suddenly, you reached over him and sat on him holding onto his shoulder. You started to lean towards the water, then, just then, you broke away from his mouth. Minho was in a good position, propping you up with his chest to keep you from falling off the mattress into the water, which was guaranteed not to be as warm as your passion for kissing Felix.
"Congratulations, darling," Minho murmured, wiping a little drool from the edge of your mouth. "You have won the award for the most desperate kisser of the day.
"I thought you weren't going to stop," noted Jisung, who was leaning against the other side of the mattress, his torso wrapped around the delicious doughnut-patterned floating mat. You didn't notice when he arrived. Of course, kissing Felix, you wouldn't have noticed if it had rained, or a meteor had hit, or even if you'd got old.
Felix laughed at Jisung's comment. Underneath you, nicely falling apart. His hand was still on your ass, panting. You reminded yourself of the owners of the unicorn floaties and the fishermen uncles. You needed to calm yourself down before you did something unwise. There was no grass nearby to touch. Water remained the only option available
You slipped out of Minho's arms and splashed backwards, holding your nose. The cool, sweet waves washed over your body, but didn't clear your thoughts.

Flower and Fates
Pairing: Luke Castellan x Reader
Genre: Barista x Florist AU
Word Count: 2.1k || masterlist
Warning: none
The sound of chiming bells from the collar of your cat, Festus, accompanied you as you made your way around your little flower shop with a spray bottle in hand. The soft purring he does as the fluffy ball of cloud jumped onto the windowsill and shoving his head under your hand made it difficult for you to attend to your plants causing you to giggle at his need for attention.
"Festus please! I'll play with you when I'm done here," even as you said that, the cat still wouldn't listen, jumping down now, he rubbed himself against your legs making it hard for you to move now without stumbling over him.
Setting the clear spray bottle on the flower stand, you put your hands on your waist as you looked down at your furry friend, "What is up with you today huh?" your annoyed expression changes to a soft one as you bend down to pick him up, how could you even stay mad at him when he's so cute. "You've never been this clingy before," walking to the main table, you sat down on the chair with Festus happyly snuggling on your lap, purring loudly by the gentle scratching on his head.
"This is an early break for me then," sighing as you looked at the clock on the wall, the time showed [11:47AM]. Today was one of the quieter days in your shop. Only having a couple came in hours before to pick their order for a ceremony, other than that later today you might get a few others. Speaking of orders, you remembered you had to continue the last few bouquets of an order for an anniversary today so the client can pick them up tomorrow but with Festus stopping you from doing your work, you just hoped that this cat would be over his episode soon.
A gentle tap on your shoulder almost startled you if the person who you saw by your side was one of a stranger, but he wasn't a stranger. It was Luke, the cute barista from the coffee shop next door who also happened to be your friend from the first day you had opened your shop and now it's been 3 months of your sweet friendship.
The lovely smile of his instantly got mirrored onto your own face, "Hi, Luke." Remembering that you were stroking your cat on your lap, looking down you saw that he was no longer there making you sigh in relief as you could finally stand up and stretch.
"Are you tired today, [Y/N]?" setting the paper bag filled with your usual pastries for lunch, which the freshly baked aroma was starting to seep through it, Luke pulled a chair closer with his foot to sit across from you, "I've never seen you sleep in the shop before. Also, it's very dangerous to when you're all alone in here someone could've just come in,"
Pulling your lips into a tight line humming to give you time to form an answer, you moved yourself closer to the table, your knees bumped his as you grabbed the paper bag with your name on it,”First of all, it was Festus' fault for not letting me water the flowers today because,” Turning your head to look for said cat, you saw that he was eating his food, unbothered, “someone is clingy today,” raising your voice in Festus’ direction, it made the curly haired boy laugh, amused by your relationship with your cat.
“What?” looking at the boy in front of you with a questioning expression, “It's true! I only got to water not even half of my precious flower babies,” lips pouting, you rolled your eyes at him as he continued to laugh, the melodious sound resonating through your quant shop made your heart flutter. A small smile appeared on your face at the thought of how you liked his laugh so much. Brushing your stray hair behind your ears, you then took out the still warm blueberry scone. Humming in satisfaction, eyes closed as the rich flavors filled your mouth.
“I'll help you water them later,” Calming himself down from his laughing fit, cheeks dusted with pink roses Luke sat up straight and took his own lunch, “Now eat up first.”
💐🥀🌷🌸🌻🌼
Mists of water droplets fell onto the rainbow petals of the flowers in your shop, continuing from the windowsill you paused earlier, the afternoon sun rays was beaming through the window and as Luke turned to ask you a question whether or not the section he was standing at had been watered or not, Luke could see the rays blanketed your figure with a soft golden halo. Reaching over your head to spray the hanging pots, once again the water mists fell around you like sparkles.
It was almost like a secret magical moment Luke was seeing. From the quiet and calm atmosphere, to the soft smile on your face as you took care of your plants and to the enchanting sight he just witnessed, if he didn't make friends with you since day one that you went over to his cafe for breakfast, Luke would've thought you were a fairy selling your magically grown flowers.
Captivated by you, Luke didn't even realize that you had moved away and was standing next to him until he heard your voice, “Hey, I think we're done here.” The same soft smile you gave to the flowers, you were showing it to him too. From the months he knew you, Luke had been observant towards your behavior as you didn't talk very much. Knowing by heart the smile you just gave him was one of that the adoring kind, does that mean-
Oh no, the growing feelings for you were sprouting yet another rose in his heart. Ever since he first thought you were such an endearing girl, the first ever bud grew. Every day he sees you as you opened your shop the same time as him, the little red rose was growing steadily. Day by day the petals were opening, until one day of you forming a friendly bond with him to the point of you being comfortable with each other, that was when all types of flowers were blooming in his heart.
The fear of admitting his feelings out loud made him suppress them, everyday he had been stomping on the delicate flowers so as to not ruin your innocent friendship. If you had seen the massacre he had done in his heart, he bet you would've fainted. But deep down he secretly wished that you would attend to his growing feelings just the same as you had attended to your beautiful flowers.
Sighing to himself, lips jutted out in a not so obvious pout to show his disappointment, Luke set down the spray bottle on the front table and followed you to the back room.
The backroom was your workroom where you prepare for orders, and Luke could see the assortments of flower arrangements on the table. Scanning his eyes through the room, he could see there were about a dozen white flower bouquets in a circular shape, the stalks were wrapped with brown paper with purple ribbons tied to them. On your wide work table, he could see the piles of flowers you used to make the order and right now you were cutting the stalk of a white carnation.
“How many of these do you still need to do?” Picking up a white rose, Luke brought it to his nose and inhaled the fragrance of the flower before twirling it with his fingers
“Hmmm, about four more then I'll have to put them in the boxes for them to pick up tomorrow morning.”
As you worked, Luke leaned himself over the table opposite of you, arms extended to support himself as he watched you staking the variety of white coloured flowers together effortlessly, making them blend in together so beautifully it amazed him by how fast you worked. In the next three minutes you were already covering the green stalks with the brown paper.
“Can you help?” Suddenly stopping as you held the paper's edge in place, you looked up at Luke who raised an eyebrow in question. “Can you please cut the ribbon and tie this for me?” Inclining your head towards the roll of purple ribbon and the scissors beside it.
Quick on his feet, Luke did as you said of cutting the ribbon, from the other times he had helped you to prepare orders from time to time, he knew the exact length to cut, even making the inward arrow head you always made at both ends. Standing beside you now, he wove the ribbon around the bouquet, swiftly moving the ribbon under your hold for you to let go and let him take over. As you were retracting your hands, your fingers brushed over Luke’s hands. Another blooming flower.
“Thank you,” Picking up the made bouquet, you walked to the others and set it down, the back of your fingers brushing the soft petals, “For lunch and for helping me today.” Facing him, you suddenly weren't able to meet his eyes.
As you stood there, feeling the warmth of Luke's presence beside you, you couldn't shake the fluttering feeling in your chest. His kindness and helpfulness never failed to make your heart skip a beat, and today was no exception.
"Of course, [Y/N]," Luke replied with a gentle smile, his eyes soft as he looked at you. "I'm always happy to help, especially when it means spending time with you."
You felt a blush creeping onto your cheeks at his words, but you managed to muster a grateful smile in return. "Well, I appreciate it more than you know," you said softly, tucking a loose strand of hair behind your ear out of habit.
There was a moment of silence between you, filled only with the sound of your own racing heartbeat. You knew you had to say something, to express the feelings that had been growing inside you for months now. But the words caught in your throat, and you found yourself unable to speak.
Just as you were about to give up and retreat into your own thoughts, Festus, your ever-mischievous cat, suddenly darted into the room, his collar jingling with every step. He leaped onto the table, causing a few stray petals to flutter to the ground, and nuzzled his head against your hand affectionately.
You couldn't help but laugh at his antics, grateful for the distraction. But as you glanced up at Luke, you caught a glimpse of something in his eyes—a longing, a vulnerability that mirrored your own.
In that moment, something clicked inside you. You realized that maybe, just maybe, you weren't alone in this after all. Maybe Luke felt the same way you did, but was too afraid to admit it.
Summoning up all your courage, you took a deep breath and met Luke's gaze head-on. "Hey, Luke," you began, your voice barely above a whisper. "I was wondering... um, would you maybe want to go out for dinner sometime? Just the two of us?"
The words hung in the air between you, heavy with anticipation. You held your breath, waiting for his response, unsure of what to expect.
Luke's eyes widened in surprise, and for a moment, you feared you had overstepped. But then, a slow smile spread across his face, lighting up his features in a way that made your heart skip a beat.
"I'd love to," he said softly, his voice filled with warmth. "I've been wanting to ask you the same thing, actually."
Relief flooded through you, followed by a rush of excitement. Maybe, just maybe, this could be the start of something wonderful.
But as you exchanged smiles and made plans for your dinner date, neither of you noticed the knowing glint in Festus's eyes. After all, he had his own secrets to keep—the biggest one being that he wasn't just an ordinary cat, but a Cynocephalus, a mythical creature with a knack for bringing people together.
With a satisfied purr, Festus slipped out of the shop and disappeared into the twilight, his mission accomplished. And as he vanished into the shadows, a faint shimmer of magic lingered in the air, a silent testament to the power of love and the mysterious ways of the gods.
As you and Luke walked hand in hand into the evening, the world seemed to sparkle with newfound enchantment, and you couldn't help but feel grateful for the unexpected twist of fate that had brought you together. Little did you know, your journey was only just beginning, filled with magic, adventure, and the boundless possibilities of love.

Cleansing Basics – Crash Course
Tumblr media
What is cleansing? When should I do it? How do I do it?
These are some of the questions I'll be tackling today. I hope this post will be useful to those who are not quite familiar with how to cleanse and why it's important for any witch or pagan practice!
---------------------------------------------------
Long post based on my experience and research. Meant to be informative. I don't claim to know the absolute truth.
---------------------------------------------------
Tumblr media
What is cleansing?
Cleansing is clearing away energy from someone, something or somewhere.
When should I cleanse?
Whenever you need to clear away energy.
Personal opinion: you should cleanse yourself and your house at least weekly.
It is generally recommended that you periodically cleanse magical items and cleanse before and after any type of magical/ spiritual work. Cleansing before contacting deities (even if it's just prayer) is also considered "standard protocol" in some cultures, like in Hellenic paganism and Shintoism.
From my personal experience I do feel I can connect better with spiritual beings when I cleanse beforehand, but I believe my emotional state has a bigger influence on the matter. Cleansing generally calms me down too so –
Tumblr media
Why should I cleanse?
The number one reason you'll see cleansing everywhere is because it is a way to help get rid of excess negative energy.
I'm not going to say you can clear away all of it because as living humans, we are constantly emanating energy and a lot of times it is "negative" energy. Which is okay, it's part of being alive. Plus, there are other factors that come into play.
However, cleansing often can help you stay in touch with spirituality and ease your mind since you'll be getting rid of excess (and oftentimes unwated) energy.
Cleansing also comes into play when you want to clear away any other kind of energy, for example, when you get a new magical tool (such as a tarot deck) or finish a magical working. You don't necessarily want the energy that was on that object or that spell sticking to you all day, you know?
How to prepare for cleansing?
First of all, gather your stuff. Gather everything you need and try to avoid interruptions.
I personally recommend you always do a physical cleaning up of whatever you are going to cleanse. Tidy up your house, take a shower, and clean your magical items (if possible).
Dirt and clutter feel bad, and it can distract the mind. Starting your cleansing in the physical plane can definitely make it more powerful in the astral too.
How do I cleanse?
Most cultures/religions/spiritual practices have their own way of doing things (ex: hellenic pagans have khernips), so first of all, do your research! And respect the fact that some things are out of your reach.
There are A LOT of techniques you can use to cleanse that are not particularly tied to a single culture and that can be done in many different ways. I'll quickly go through some of them, but it is by no means an extensive list.
Tumblr media
Cleansing with the 4 elements:
Earth: I've mainly seen this in two ways, which are sending energy to the earth (something like grounding) and burrying objects.
Fire: commonly used together with air in smoke cleansing. There's also energy work that pulls energy and sends it towards the fire for cleansing (either a candle, a bonfire, or a visualization flame)
Water: mostly used for cleansing yourself or objects. It can be through herb baths and showers, rain/sea/river water, salt water, or sacred waters. For cleansing spaces, there are things such as water spray bottles and floor washes (though I've only seen this one being used in hoodoo). Careful with objects, some may not be resistant to water.
Air: generally the most common for cleansing spaces or people. Usually achieved by lighting up incense or herbs with cleansing properties and using the smoke to cleanse.
Sidenote: burning a herbs ≠ from smudging. Smudging is a native american practice that is closed to their people. Don't smudge, don't call some herb-burning smudging. It's not the same thing. Stick with what's appropriate for your culture.
Sun and moon: using sunlight or moonlight to cleanse (and often charge) yourself or objects. Always make sure what you are cleansing can actually be left in the sun and handle weather.
Crystals: Some crystals have cleansing properties, usually back ones (onyx, obsidian, black tourmaline), smoky quartz, and selenite, to name a few. Keep in mind that they usually need to be cleansed periodically, too.
Sound: Praying, chanting, singing, music, and using bells or drums are some ways you can use sound to cleanse.
Visualization: There are many techniques used for cleansing this way. While it can be effective, it is definitely not for everyone as a lot of people will find that using tools is easier and more consistent. Visualization requires some practice and a lot of focus.
Tumblr media
What to do after cleansing?
That depends on your objective.
If you are cleansing a space, such as your home, and you want to keep it "clean" for longer, you can cast a protection spell.
If you are cleansing yourself or an object, you may want to do a Charging of some sort. When you cleanse, you are getting something out, which opens up space for the new, so you can use this as an opportunity to "fill in" with another type of energy.
Conclusion
Cleansing is very versatile and unique to each practice. There are a lot of things you can do that are fairly neutral, but in general, cleansing always has the same purpose and is done in a similar fashion.
Knowing what your tradition (if you have one) usually does to cleanse objects, people, and places can be very enriching, so do your research!
Thank you for reading!

Dom robot x gn reader
You finally saved up enough money to buy a new home robot to help with the chores around the house. You bring it home and set it up to your wifi network. And of fucking course, like everything else, it has a million updates needed first before it can do anything.
You had bought meat and ingredients on the way home to test its cooking skills and you had some laundry you needed done that will have to wait until tomorrow. You settle in for the night with some delivery and a movie. Before bed, you pull up some of your favorite porn and watch someone get absolutely dominated and tied up like you wished you could be to have a quick masturbation and drift to sleep easier.
When you wake in the morning before work, the last of the updates are finishing. You were excited to come home that evening to see what it would do when you were out. When you did get home, your house was spotless, all your laundry was complete and put away, and you could smell food cooking.
"Your food will be ready soon. Please take a seat at the table." You did as the robot asked. In a couple of minutes, a delicious meal was placed in front of you. You taste it and let out a moan.
"is everything okay?"
You can only nod. It has been a while since you had food this good.
"good. Now eat up. You will need your energy later."
You may have thought that was weird normally but for now you were too engrossed into the meal.
Once you were finished, the robot cleared the table, "go to the shower. I will be there shortly."
Again, it seemed weird but something in the tone made you not question. It has been a long day and a nice shower sounded good.
You stripped and turned the shower on. Once the temperature was perfect, you stepped in and just soaked under the spray with your eyes closed, letting the water loosen the knots.
You screamed when you felt someone grab your arm. You would have fallen too if they didn't catch you.
"Don't be alarmed," the robot said, "I am only hear to help."
You laughed at yourself as you stood back up on your own, "I forgot you said you were going to join me. That is not needed. I can wash myself."
The robot entered the shower and grabbed your shampoo, "I am here to help. Now turn around."
You hesitated for a moment before complying. It felt weird, being washed by the bot, but also nice and relaxing as it ran it's fingers through your hair. It had you rinse and then it added the conditioner. It covered its hands with soap and began rubbing your back and arms. Then up and down your legs. Once finished with your feet, it commanded you turn around.
"that's ok. I can wash myself. I don't need your help with this," you said.
"but I am here to help. Now turn around."
You shyly turned around as it washed it's way back up your legs. When it reached your crotch, you bit your lip to stifle a moan. You knew it was just a robot but you felt so turned on with its hands all over your body.
When it washed your chest, it flicked your nipple suddenly and you let out a loud sudden moan that made you cover your mouth and blush brightly.
"is everything okay?" The bot asked for the second time this evening.
You nodded, "fine, just ready to get out of the shower now."
You rinsed quickly and stepped out. The robot took your towel before you could grab it and began patting your body down. It started at your head and worked it's way down. It reached the bottom of your legs and commanded you to spread your legs.
"W-what for?!" You asked confused
"You need to dry well to avoid getting a rash. Now please open your legs."
You open your legs some. "Wider," it commands. You comply. As it begins to pat your privates, you grip the towel bar to hold yourself steady and grit your teeth to prevent from loosing your balance and your tongue.
"I am going to go to bed now," you state and rush out of the bathroom.
"I will join you shortly," it states. "That is not needed," you replied but there was no response
You try to calm yourself by masturbating furiously but before you can even get close, the robot enters the room.
"I don't need any more help tonight, thank you," you try to get rid of the bot so you can finish.
It stands there for a minute before walking over as it speaks, "I am here to help. And to be effective at that, I have many tools at my disposal. I have heat vision to monitor cooking and check for dangers. I can also read your pulse to check on your health. I am also connected to the Internet. Including your internet history."
The robot rips the blankets off of you to expose your naked body. It continues to speak as it moves over you, "your heartbeat is racing. Your chest, vital points, and crotch are all abnormally warm," stopping once its on top of you and pins your arms above your head as it places a knee firmly but gently between your legs, in your groin, "I am here to help. Would you like me to help?"
You moan and nod, rubbing yourself against its leg.
"I am sorry but I need a verbal confirmation. Would you like me to help?"
You breathlessly and quietly say yes.
It presses harder into your groin and press it's body into yours as it takes both your hands in one as the other now traces down your arm and flicks your nipple playfully.
"and how would you like me to help you?"
Your not sure if robots could smile coyly but this one seemed to. It knew exactly what you wanted. It even said it knew your internet history. But you knew it wasn't going to do a thing until you embarrassingly told it exactly what you wanted.
How you wanted to be fucked.
Just like you wanted to be dominated.

This story started out as a tow truck driver who just happened to be in a Motorcycle Club, but it has morphed into a full-blown biker drama. A new character is introduced at The Velvet Hammer who will be Steve's love interest in a side fic I'm working on! I love you, enjoy the ride ❤️

Now, it stays
You tear me open but beware
There's things inside without a care
And the dirt still stains me."

---------
Eddie stayed with you that night, knowing that Craig had broken into your place, and Katie went to be with Robin, so the two of you had the duplex to yourselves. Eddie put the deadbolt on both of the doors and blocked under the doorknob with kitchen chairs, and then the two of you took a shower together. He soaped your back with care, and it wasn’t long before you felt both of his hands at your hips as his hard length rocked back and forth along your slit from behind.
“Again?” You gave him a glance over your shoulder, a bit in disbelief. This would be the fourth time in less than two hours.
“You’re right,” he mumbled, continuing to saw his hips slowly while the water sprayed and the steam rose. “I should stop, huh?” He wrapped an arm around your throat and pulled you back to suck your earlobe into his mouth while his other hand found your clit.
“You’re a maniac,” the last word was a gasp as his tongue twirled in your ear and your hand skidded down the wet tile wall.
You were so stressed about Craig, and letting Eddie fuck you senseless was the only thing that gave you a bit of relief. The orgasms wiped your mind clean, if only for a few moments, and you wondered how many he could give you before the night was over and you could succumb to sleep. Craig was always there, in the back of your mind now, creeping around your place, stalking your house from across the street---god forbid he was stalking your friends.
Just as Eddie had you bent forward to slide his tip in, and you begged for him to go deeper, the phone rang.
“Shit,” Eddie hissed. The shower stream blasted against his neck, dripping down his nose and hair as he watched his cock stretch you out.
Your eyes shot open and you stiffened. “Wait, I need to get that,” you straightened, reluctantly forcing his cock to pop out.
On any other day, under any other circumstances, Eddie would have coaxed you to ignore it, but the current Craig situation had everyone on edge. His nerves were fried with how bad he wanted to hammer the nails into your stalker’s coffin, but he was doing all he could to remain calm for you. He didn’t want you to see him frazzled and amped up and storming through town kicking down doors like he wanted to.
Plus, he also didn’t want to let you out of his sight.
Eddie swatted your bare butt as you stepped out onto the mat and pulled a towel around you.
“Hey,” he yelled as he finished washing your conditioner out of his hair. “That ass is mine.”
“Sure, sure,” you mumbled, snorting at his constant eagerness. Your feet made wet imprints on the carpet as you crossed over to the phone on the nightstand by your bed.
Eddie was just about to ask if he should turn the water off or if you were getting back in when he heard your voice crack. “Baby? It’s for you.”
Eddie jerked the lavender curtain back and wiped his eyes. Your face was pinched with worry, your legs still dripping wet below the towel.
“Who is it? Steve?” But then his stomach dropped as he asked it, knowing it was something bad just by the look on your face.
You shook your head. “I didn’t catch her name, but she’s really upset,” you came in close to whisper to him as he turned the shower off, your eyes searching his.
“She said that someone named Jester was just murdered.”
------
Eddie sat down on the couch with a huff and bent over to tie his boots furiously, hair dripping wet, heart racing with adrenaline.
Goddamn it, Jester, Eddie murmured under his breath. He should’ve called Eddie, he should’ve waited, like Eddie fucking asked him to. Shari said the guy at her motel matched the description of Craig, and Jester went over there to check it out; two hours later, his Coffin King brother was found in the parking lot with a broken neck. Jester was just a kid, barely 23, and he’d just patched over from being a Prospect only a few months ago.
Fuck, Eddie was pissed. The anger pumped so hot in his veins that he had to shake his head a few times so that he could see straight.
You were dressed now, but haphazardly so; your tee shirt was on inside out and the first pair of sweats you pulled out of the drawer had a blue paint stain on the thigh. You were biting your pinky nail down to the quick as you stood back against the kitchen island watching Eddie. You knew Craig had something to do with this---you knew it in the depths of your soul---but Eddie wouldn’t tell you any of the details. He said he needed to go down and check it out for himself.
He said he’d be right back.
He told you to keep everything locked and lodge the chair under the door when he left.
But you didn’t want to let him out of your sight, not with your maniac ex on the loose. You weren’t even worried about yourself, you were more concerned with Eddie riding out there in the dark to the motel all alone.
You’d met Jester once; his real name was Aaron, and he was young but he was big and strong, and one of the guys who ran the fights said he had the skill to be the next War Machine.
“Should you call Hopper?” You watched him lace his other boot while you gnawed another nail off.
Eddie frowned. “What the hell is he going to do about it?” He spat. “Besides, he’s probably already down there, making shit harder for me.”
“You think it was Craig, don’t you? The one who murdered Jester?”
Eddie took a long breath and sat there bent over for a second, eyes on the carpet. “I don’t know anything right now baby, that’s why I need to---”
You bent down to put your shoes on.
“Hey, I told you to wait here, please,” Eddie stood up, adjusted his belt and wallet chain, and came over to take you by the shoulders. You tried to shrug away, but he found your eyes, grabbing you by the chin so you would look at him. Piece of hair were sticking to his cheeks, still wet from the shower.“I don’t know what I’ll be rolling up on down there. I can’t risk it being a situation where you might get hurt.”
Your eyes were hot with defiant tears. “Well, what if this was just a ploy so you would leave me here alone, did you ever think of that? Hmm? These chairs blocking the doors are cute, but they won’t stop him, I think you know that.”
Fuck, he hadn’t thought of that. Eddie’s blood rage was making him sloppy; he had to get his head on straight.
You could tell that your words had nudged him and the gears in his head were clicking in your favor.
You continued to pull the bill up on your converse to slide your foot in. “Like you said, the cops will be there, and probably a bunch of other people rubbernecking, and he’s not going to do anything out in the open, even if he does see me.” You squatted down to tie them as quickly as you could.
You stood up, breathless, and swallowed hard. “I’m not staying here like live bait. If you leave without me, I’ll get in my car and follow.”
Eddie’s nostrils flared, assessing you from under hooded eyes, but in the end—-he knew you were right.  You snatched your helmet from the dresser in your bedroom and went out to straddle your man on the bike like a pro as it yielded to your weight.  Eddie smiled a little to himself as you adjusted  yourself behind him, remembering how shy you’d been about riding in the beginning.   With your arms secure around him and your chin pinned at his shoulder, the bike growled out onto the main road from the street.  You glanced around in the bushes on the sidewalk, expecting to see Craig’s face looming in the shadows.
—---------
The police had the area between the motel and the gas station taped off, protecting the crime scene, and Jester’s body was gone, but his bike was still there by the gas station, tipped over onto his side, his helmet was a few feet away.  There were 3 patrol cars, the Sheriff’s bronco, and an ambulance, plus a crowd of people from the motel, and one woman was crying while the other one held her.  A few of the Coffin Kings including the patch President Bones, and Thumper were already there, hanging back, arms crossed, wondering who would do this, and how they could find him before the police did.
You checked around, squinting into the crowd as you dismounted the bike.  Eddie opened his hand for you to pass him your helmet once you took it off.
Hopper waved off one of the other officers and approached Eddie right away, removing his hat to slick back his hair as he strolled over.
“Eddie,” he nodded.
“Hop,” Eddie returned. He called you his “old lady” when he introduced you, which made your smile twitch up in a weird way, having never been referred to as that before.  It sounded like an insult, but apparently it meant that you were his pride and joy.
Hopper got Eddie up to speed on what they knew, which was almost nothing.  Jester was found face down on the pavement with a broken neck, legs trapped under his bike.   His girlfriend Shari who worked at the motel is the one who found him, and she didn’t see or hear anything unusual during the time when it happened.  Of course they’d questioned her as if she had something to do with it, which was ridiculous since Shari was maybe 90 pounds soaking wet.
You were doing a spin around in a circle to take everything in when your eyes landed with a screeching halt on the hunter green SUV parked in front of room 11 on the far side of the lot.  A squeak escaped your throat and you stumbled back against Eddie.  Was he inside the room watching you right now?
Hopper raised his eyebrow at Eddie. “Any issues with retaliation that I should know about? Has Jester had beef with anyone lately?”
Eddie lifted his chin, bracing his hands at his hips.  Hopper knew damn well that, even if this had to do with a rival gang, Eddie sure as hell wouldn’t talk about it to the cops.  He’d take care of it in his own way, which was exactly what needed to happen in this case.
There was usually some polite banter between the two of them, but the mood that evening was much too somber.
“What about people staying at the motel?” You blurted.  “Have they been questioned yet?”
Eddie curled his arm around you and pulled you closer, almost as if to shut you up, but Hopper paused to meet your gaze. The only people staying at the motel that night were a husband and wife with their newborn, an elderly couple on their way to visit grandkids, a business woman representing Mary Kay cosmetics, and a highly decorated war veteran who had been injured in the line of duty.  The vet was on his way home from a conference in Pennsylvania—Hopper had yet to confirm this, but nothing about the guy felt concerning.
“You think someone staying at the motel wanted to kill Jester?” His tone had an edge of mocking, but he was also genuinely curious why you would ask that.
Eddie squeezed you tighter, silently reminding you not to share too much with the police.
“Well I—” you stammered, checking over your shoulder at the SUV, and then back up to Eddie. “I was wondering if there were any witnesses, that’s all.”
Hopper nodded.  “We’ll be checking with all of them early in the morning, but my guess is they were asleep.  Whoever did this was quick and sneaky.”
That description made a shiver run down your spine.  Even as you stood there in a crowd, you could feel an imaginary blade slice across  your throat.
Hopper was good at his job, but he was letting himself be blinded by the people Jester chose to associate himself with.  You run with a ruthless MC, you get hurt, that’s a given.
Hopper questioned Shari, but she also knew not to talk to the police, and kept quiet about the way Jester came there to keep an eye on the creepy guy in room 11.  She told Bones, though, and the second Hopper strolled off, you pulled Eddie aside.
“Look,” you motioned with your head to the SUV across the parking lot.
Eddie rolled his bottom lip through his teeth, checking to make sure Hopper was far enough away.  “I saw it, baby,” he grabbed the back of your neck and massaged it.  He worked his jaw as he stared at the motel room in question, hoping that fucker was peeking through the curtains and could see him holding onto you.  If the place wasn’t crawling with pigs, he’d kick the door down right then and there.
Steve rolled into the lot on his chopper and gave a two-finger wave to Bones and the rest before making his way to a halt near you and Eddie.  He had clear, utility glasses on to keep the bugs out of his eyes when he rode at night, and he pushed them up into his messy hair as he dismounted.  He wasn’t wearing his helmet, which was an illegal and risky thing to do right in front of law enforcement—but Steve was notorious for making up his own rules.
There were also two mean looking hickeys on his neck. Even mixed in with his tattoos, they were hard to miss.
“Looks like you’ve been busy,” Eddie raised an eyebrow at the aggressively bruised mouth bites. One was positioned dead-center on his adam’s apple.  Something about them felt familiar to Eddie, but he shrugged it off.
Steve reached into the front pocket of his cut for his lighter and smokes, popping one in his mouth.  “What did I miss?”
Eddie filled him in on Jester getting whacked, and Steve blew smoke out of his nose, thoughtfully, his brows knitting together.
“Bones wants to take it to the table,” Eddie told him, meaning their MC would get together at the clubhouse at Munson’s Garage and discuss what they wanted to do.  His eyes lingered on room 11 again. “But I want to take care of this guy myself.  It’s personal.”
“If it’s personal for you, it’s personal for me,” Steve told him, letting Eddie know he had his back, even though he had no idea about the gravity of the situation and who Craig actually was.
You sniffed the air.  “Hold on,” you stepped closer to Steve, taking another long whiff.  He exchanged a curious look with Eddie over your shoulder.  “Is that Chanel number 5 I smell?”
Steve lifted the collar of his white tee to his nose.  “Um, I dunno. Maybe.  I guess?”
“Expensive taste,” Eddie mumbled, and another cog clicked in his brain, another piece falling into a puzzle that he didn’t know he needed to solve.  He was about to open his mouth, to ask Steve where he had been—but then he remembered that who his friend was fucking was none of his business.  There were plenty of wealthy, horny women in the area who wore Chanel number 5 and gave aggressive hickeys.  He was sure of it.
You stayed very close to Eddie and Steve as they walked over to get as close as they could to where the body had been, so much so that you tripped over the back of Steve’s heels twice, and he teasingly asked if you were drunk.  “No, but I wish,” you admitted, constantly looking over your shoulder at the motel.  You kept expecting Craig to appear, to step out of his room with his hands in his pockets and a smug look on his face, enjoying the chaos he caused.
Eddie made a point to ask for Jester’s cut-off leather vest, with the Coffin Kings insignia on the back and his nickname patched on the front.  Eddie folded it with great reverence, knowing they would give it to his mother at the funeral.  Eddie also wanted to talk with Shari, but now was not the time to interrogate her.
Hopper told everyone to disperse, including the group of Coffin Kings that were lingering, but none of them were going far.  As much as they weren’t afraid of the law, they also had to pretend to abide by it from time to time so that they weren’t getting their feathers ruffled constantly and thrown in jail over stupid shit.
They positioned two of the Prospects across the street in the park with a clear view of the motel. After what happened to Jester, they weren’t taking any chances with snoozing on the job, and both were packing serious, illegal heat.
You asked Steve how Oliver was while Bones clapped a hand on Eddie’s shoulder.  The man was average height, but all gray, with a bandana on his head, and a thick mustache; he reminded you of Sam Elliott.
“You think this is the guy? The one stalking your old lady?”  Bones’ already gruff voice was accentuated by years of smoking.
Eddie’s gaze flicked to one of the patrol cruisers that was leaving the scene, and he nodded. “This one is mine, brother. I need this.”
“We all need it,” Bones agreed, gripping Eddie’s shoulder.  He leaned in, “If you want to drag that guy out of there right now, we’re with you.”
“No,” Eddie appreciated the offer but, “I want to catch him on the move, away from all of this protection,” he added, hitching his chin in the direction of the police.  “I can’t risk us getting locked up while he roams free.”
Eddie also didn’t trust the Prospects to keep a close enough eye on him, so he planned to take you to Steve’s and come back; there was no way he’d be able to sleep knowing Craig would be up and about in a few hours.
But you weren’t so crazy about that idea.  Sure, you’d stay the night at Steve and Robin’s if that made him feel better to know you were all in one place, but Eddie needed to stay with you.
Robin and Oliver were asleep, and Steve was in the shower washing off his Chanel number 5 when Eddie shut the door to Steve’s bedroom so you could talk.  Steve’s room was little else than a tv, a dresser, and a futon sofa that folded out into a bed.  There was a chair next to the window and an ashtray full of cigarette butts on the sill.  He usually slept in the extra twin bed in Oliver’s room down the hall, though, and that is where he would be that night so that you and Eddie could have the futon.  You knew that not much talking needed to be involved to get him to stay and you quickly dropped to your knees, working his belt off and unzipping his jeans.
“Wait, baby, I—” Eddie began to protest but by then you’d already pulled the top of his boxers down and were wrapping your soft lips around the head of his cock.  “---oh fuck that feels good,” he whispered, dropping the back of his head to the wall.
You kissed down the smooth shaft and felt it grow against your lips, and then swirled your tongue around the head again, knowing by the sounds he was making that you had him right where you wanted him.
“Stay here with me baby,” you coaxed, gripping his cock in your fist, lapping at it with your tongue a few times like it was an ice cream cone, looking up at him.  “I need you.”
He put a hand on the back of your head and pushed his hips forward ever so slightly, so the tip made its way to the back of your throat.  It was growing to full-size fast, and you made a humming noise, vibrating on it while you caressed his balls through his boxers.
“Shit, oh fuck, I love it when you do that,” he breathed.  God, he loved watching how well you took care of him, especially the way a string of saliva would stretch out between your mouth and his tip when you pulled back; your mouth was so wet for him.
“Mhmmm,” you nodded.  His tip was already leaking, and you pulled his boxers down further to take one of his balls into your mouth before coming back up to lick the drops clean.
There were a handful of times when Eddie let you give him head from start to finish, but more often than not—he always wanted to finish inside of you.  It wasn’t a breeding thing, it was more of a “I need to be as close to you as I possibly can” kind of thing, and his balls ached for it.
After making sure the door was locked, speaking exclusively in hushed whispers, it wasn’t long before you were both naked and Eddie had you on the bed with your legs straight up over his shoulders.  He ran his cock along your slippery slit, and then he tapped your hole with the head a few times, like a vow.  He braced his hands at your hips and sank in, making you both bite back a cry of pleasure.  He pounded you with fierce urgency before slowing it down to long strokes, turning his face to kiss your leg.  The open futon had the cushion of a cement block, and so there were no pesky springs or hinges to make curious noises.
“I’m so full baby,” you whined. “You’re so deep.”
“Fuck,” he bottomed out a few more times, clapping his hips against you.  You heard the shower across the hall turn off and worried that Steve might catch the wet smacking noises.
There were no lights on in the room, but enough illumination from outside for Eddie to be able to watch himself slide in and out of you, growling low as he did so, loving how the skin of his cock glistened with your arousal.
You were swiping at your clit with the pads of your fingers, and your hand sped up when he started fucking you hard again. You met his eyes, your brows knitting together.  “Oh fuck Eddie…just like that.”
Eddie knew that, if you said you liked something, that was not time to switch things up, and he ached to hear you get loud.
“That’s my girl,” he hissed.  “Cum on my cock baby, I want you to cum so fucking hard, oh shit—” he could feel his own release mounting as your walls rippled around him.  His strong fingers dug into your thigh as his thrusts became erratic, long hair hanging down his strong, tattooed shoulders and chest.
You arched up, mouth opening only to mouth a curse word as you felt Eddie buck and release inside of you, biting his lip so hard it almost bled as he moaned deep in his throat. Your cunt milked his dick as you came, twitching, breathing hard from the adrenaline rush of trying to keep quiet.
The bathroom door opened, there was the sound of footsteps in the hall, and then a knock at your door.  You mirrored Eddie’s wide eyes, and then he pulled out of you, reluctantly, semi-hard cock bobbing in the air, and stepped into his jeans while you covered yourself with the Harley Davidson blanket.
Before Eddie could get his jeans zipped, Steve tried the doorknob. “Yo, the bathroom is free,” he let you both know, as any roommate would if there were only one shower and toilet in the house.
“Thanks man,” Eddie paused, waiting, wondering if that was it.
But Steve rapped his knuckles softly on the wood again.  “Let me in for a second, dude, I gotta get something out of my closet.”
Eddie shot a look back at you, as if to make sure you were covered up, while simultaneously wondering if he wanted Steve to see that you were obviously naked under his blanket.  He adjusted his cock in his denim and reached out to pluck the lock open on the knob.
“Took you long enough,” Steve blew in with a Snoopy towel around his waist, exposing the wash of colorful tattoos covering his torso that you’d never seen before.  He had “FTW” inked in big letters in an arc over his stomach, and after consulting with Eddie later, you learned it stood for “fuck the world”.  Your eyes also landed on Oliver’s name tattooed over his heart.  He usually slicked his hair back, so this was the first time you ever saw it so messy and wild.
Steve slid the closet door open, yanked something off a wire hanger, and was about to walk back out the door when he stopped and turned on his heel to give you both a wiggle of his eyebrows.  “Hold up—did I interrupt something?”
Eddie didn’t say anything, he just blinked a few times, and you plastered a tight smile across your face that made your cheeks squeak.
“If you need me to stay, I could—” Steve teased, offering a few exaggerated winks.
“Get the fuck out,” Eddie pushed his shoulder, snorting a muffled laugh as he did so.
—-----------
Earlier that evening, when you and Eddie showed up at the crime scene near the motel—-Craig was not in his room.  He hadn’t been there for almost two hours, since he killed Jester.  He got out through the window in the bathroom, and that poor kid never saw it coming.  After that, he hotwired a car from the grocery store parking lot a few blocks away and waited across the street, in plain sight, watching the whole thing. He gritted his teeth and mumbled under his breath when Eddie put his arm around you, and when you left together—he followed.
He already knew where your friends Steve and Robin lived, and it was not a shocker that your biker boyfriend took you there. You didn’t need protection from Craig, though, you needed protection from the world, and metalhead scum like Eddie Musnon.  He knew you would thank him one day, for finding you and bringing you back to your senses.
It took him a while to figure out the exact spot where you would be in the house, but once he did, he found that the window was cracked open, like a gift.  He hadn’t expected the sounds of you getting fucked to turn him on, but the way you whimpered…oh god…those noises you made.  He put his head against the side of the house, closed his eyes, and pretended it was his cock inside of you.  He came into the bushes, mumbling your name with the additional, “you fucking bitch, you fucking whore” before adjusting himself and making his way back to the motel.
—-------
The next morning, Craig’s vehicle was still there, and it didn’t appear like the guy had even moved a muscle or pulled back a curtain.
At around 8:00, the two Prospects stationed on watch across the street got a phone call from the payphone on the corner.  It was Bones, letting them know they were both needed down at the abandoned steel mill.
Both were tired of waiting, but Van, the one who’d answered the phone, couldn’t mount his bike fast enough, while Devlin worked through some internal struggle.
“Hold on,” Devlin said, taking a second to absorb what Van just told him.  Both had long hair tied back in ponytails, each similarly tall with lanky muscles.  Van was sleeved with tattoos, though, while Devlin only had a Celtic design on his bicep.  “He needs both of us? What about this guy?” He tossed his chin in the direction of the motel.   “Eddie said not to let him out of our sight.”
“Do you want me to call Bones back so you can give him all these questions?” Van offered snidely, knowing that the last thing a Prospect would ever do is question the President of the MC. “Let’s get the fuck out of here, I gotta piss.  If Eddie wants this guy so bad, he can come babysit him.”
Devlin pulled his leather gloves on, flexing his fingers as he stared across at Van.  There’s no way in hell he’d talk that way to Eddie’s face—he’d get rocked into next week.  Devlin noticed that Van was jittery, like an addict jonesing for a hit of something.  “It’s your ass,” Devlin assured him as he strapped his helmet on under his chin.
—------
When the boys swung by to talk to the Prospects a bit later, the two were nowhere to be found, and Craig’s SUV was gone.
“Son of a bitch,” Eddie spat, motioning for Steve to follow him to circle around to the motel.
“What the fuck?” Steve barked, looking around as they each dismounted their bikes. He had on a red tee with the armholes cut open wide to expose his tan ribcage and scattered tattoos.“Where the hell are Van and Devlin?”
Eddie didn’t have time to solve that mystery, he was too focused on the way the door to room 11 was cracked ajar, suggesting that the occupant had left in a hurry.
Both boys stood back on either side of the door, each with one hand on the hilt of their holstered knives.  Not only was Craig dangerous, but he was a sneaky coward who didn’t have the guts to face Eddie like a man.
Eddie pounded the door the rest of the way open with his boot.
The room appeared to have been vacated—the guy even took out his own trash, as if someone would want to sift through it.  The bed had been made, with the sheets tucked so tight, you could bounce a dime on it, and on his way back from checking the bathroom, Eddie saw a matchbook from The Golden Lion Hotel and Resort sitting on the desk.
“Maybe the guy gave up,” Steve looked around the dresser under the tv, pulling the empty drawers open.  “Tucked his tail and ran like the scared puppy he is.”
Eddie shook his head a few times before he said anything, turning the matchbook over in his fingers. “Oh,he’s still around,” Eddie concluded.  “And I think he left us a breadcrumb.”
Eddie wasn’t stupid, he knew the guy hadn’t left it there by accident.  Craig seemed to get off on slipping through their fingers and mocking them around every turn, but he underestimated what Eddie would do when he actually got a hold of him.
—-----------
When Eddie called to tell you what had happened, a cold chill ran down your spine.  It was late morning, and you were at your Saturday “bloody mary brunch” shift at the Velvet Hammer while The Drama You’ve Been Craving by Sleater-Kinney played from the jukebox.  The b-movie on the tv mounted above the bar was The Killer Shrews. Your shift was 9 to 4, but you planned on asking if you could work a double and stay as late as possible, because it felt safe to be in a crowd; staying busy also kept your anxiety at bay.  The only downside would be that Eddie was out of your sight, and you had a feeling that both the boys would be trying to track down Craig for most of the day.  You weren’t doubting that Eddie could handle himself against Craig in a fist fight—but that wasn’t the type of combat Craig excelled at.  There was always some element of manipulation and psychological fuckery.
And then Steve was off to be a bodyguard for some wealthy, country club wife later that night, leaving Eddie completely alone.  You weren’t sure of the details, but you knew he was being forced to go to take whoever it was to some wedding.  All you could do was serve alcoholic beverages and hope the world outside figured itself out without anyone you loved getting hurt.
You overheard the new server ask Shana if Steve was working the door that day.
“He’s only here after 6,” Shana replied, digging a metal scoop into the ice to make a mint mojito.  There was about an inch of platinum stubble growing in on her shaved head.  She wore a dark red choker with a cross dangling from it, and a low cut, velvet shirt to expose the roses and thorns tattoo that covered her chest.  “But, he asked for the night off,” Shana wiggled her eyebrows at the girl.  “I think he has a hot date.”
To your surprise, you watched the new girl’s face drop.  She’d only been there for a week, and it seemed like she and Steve were always in the middle of a lover’s spat.  Some of it was playful banter, but also, the more she pushed him away and teased him,  the more he sought her out to tease her more, and she wasn’t afraid to give her rejection harsh and swift.
“It’s not a date,” you corrected, walking side by side, carrying drinks to your table.  “Some lady is paying him to be her escort slash bodyguard for a wedding tonight.”
A smile twitched on her lips; she looked relieved as the two of  you set the drinks down black cocktail napkins coasters.  After you finished at that table, Lily tapped your elbow.
“Who would need a bodyguard at a wedding in this town?” She asked, frowning quizzically. “Is she famous or something?”
Her question brought a sudden avalanche of memories down on you.  You remembered that day at the gallery when you first caught sight of Charlene, and the second time you ever met Eddie.  He was there as her “bodyguard” that night, according to Jeff, and you recalled how ridiculous it sounded.
That night several months ago, you teased Eddie for being on your “turf” on the sidewalk outside of Moon River Gallery, and just the thought of those early days made your heart flutter.
It dawned on you then, like a smack to the forehead, who Steve was escorting to the wedding that night, and you leaned across the bar to ask Shanna to pass you the phone.
—--------
Robin answered as she spun cookie dough in a mixing bowl with a wooden spoon, her hair in a scrunchy on the top of her head.  She’d offered to watch one of her friend's kids for a bit, and both the boys were giggling at cartoons in the living room.  The smoke alarm just went off because she burned the first batch and was determined to try again.
You asked if Steve had checked in recently, or if she expected him home any time soon.
Pinning the phone between her shoulder and her ear, Robin opened the window above the sink to try and wave some of the burnt cookie smoke out with her hand.  “He was just here to grab something, but then he took off again,” she kicked the oven closed with her foot.  “Why, what’s up?”
You figured there was always a chance he’d stop by The Hammer even though he wasn’t working—you hoped so anyway.  “You know if he’s still doing that escort thing tonight?”
“Yeah, he’s pretty excited about it,” there was a tiny voice in the background and Robin held her hand over the receiver to tell Ollie she’d be there in a second.  “Well, he’s excited about the money.  I got invited to the same wedding, but Katie’s visiting her mom and I don’t want to be lame and go by myself, even though Paul’s mom did offer to babysit.”
“Oh, that’s right,” you considered the implication of what she was saying.  If you could duck into the wedding long enough to warn Steve and let him know his “date” is the reason Eddie got stabbed, then at least Steve would have fair warning for what he was getting himself into.
Robin stopped stirring and held the phone with her flour covered hand.  “Hey, do you want to be my date? I know you’ve got this creepy ex breathing down your throat, but until the Kings grab him, I think it would be fun to take your mind off of it. There’s an open bar at the reception and I’m always a fan of free food.”
You were nodding, but realized there were no words coming out. “I think that might be a really good idea,” you sucked in your top lip, almost wishing Eddie hadn’t ripped the dress John bought you.  “I was going to try and pick up another shift, but yeah, I could be your date.”
You already told Eddie you’d be working, so you’d let the new bouncer at the Hammer know where you were in case he came by.  Since Eddie was usually impossible to get a hold of during the day, you’d leave a message on his machine, too, just in case.
Meanwhile, as Robin spooned dough onto an aluminum sheet, she remembered the gun that was locked back in the safe.  For some strange reason, the hair stood up on the back of her neck and she wondered if she would need it.
—-------
Right before you left your message on Eddie’s machine letting him know where you would be, there was another message that came through:
(machine clicks) “It’s me, Melanie.  Wow, I guess you really don’t want to talk to me. (long pause) It’s been five years, I figured we could at least try to be friends or something, but I am reading your silence loud and clear. (heavy sigh) I went over to visit Wayne and he said you have a new girlfriend now, and that you’re happy, so, congratulations, I guess.  You deserve all the good things.  This is the last time I will try to contact you. Have a nice life, Eddie.”
Later that day, just as the sun was setting, the phone rang again.
(machine clicks) (shuffling, muffled cursing) “You know what? Fuck you, Eddie Mussin.” Melanie slurs. “Fuck you for making me fill like a peas of schit for even trying to be a part of your life. (hiccup) Your new whore is here at this wedding, where are you?  I don’t fuckin deserve this.  I need you to come down here right now and tell me to my face that you don’t love me anymore before I come to you–” (loud click)
—------
Back at the Munson’s Garage, Eddie did not go up to his apartment, but he did meet with Bones and a few of the other members inside the clubhouse.  Eddie told Bones about how Van and Devlin had disappeared, and he was just as confused as anyone.
“I don’t know shit about them leaving,” Bones assured from one of the bar stools, silver hair brushed back off his face, wearing an old school denim cut-off with the club insignia on it, and a thick wallet chain hanging down the thigh of his dark denim. “I told those fuckers to stay put until you got there.”
Eddie put his hands on his hips and worked his jaw. The door that led in from the garage opened then, and the two idiots in question appeared.  Eddie didn’t wait to ask questions, he just walked over, took the first one he could catch by the throat, and pinned him up against the wall with a hard thwack that sounded like he almost broke the wood paneling.
Van choked and wheezed against Eddie’s hold. “Where the fuck have you two been?” Eddie spat through gritted teeth.
Devlin started talking fast, waving his hands.  “We’ve been over at the abandoned steel mill, waiting where you told us to for the past couple hours,” he said to Bones in a rush.
Bones and Eddie exchanged a frown.  Bones shook his head, scowling at Devlin.  “What the hell are you talking about? Nothing’s going down at the steel mill today.” There were several abandoned buildings on the outskirts of town where the Kings conducted the shady side of their dealings, but so far, the weekend plans were tame.
Devlin shot a look at Van, whose face was beet red above Eddie’s grip, and then turned back to Bones.  “So, if you didn’t call us on the payphone this morning to tell us to go to the steel mill, who did?”
Eddie released Van so that he could talk, waiting for him to catch his breath and cough a few times.  “It sounded like you,” Van sputtered so hard that saliva dripped from his lip.
Bones sat back in his seat, smoothing out his mustache, while the other members around him mumbled to themselves.  “You really are just as stupid as you look.”
And then Eddie’s fist came in tight, landing flush with his Van’s jaw, and he stumbled back against the wall and slid to the floor, accepting his punishment with a curse.
The door from the garage pushed open abruptly, and there stood Josh, one of Eddie’s mechanics wearing smudged overalls.  He threw a thumb over his shoulder.  “Yo, Thumper has eyes on that hunter green SUV you’ve been looking for.  It’s headed for Highway 22 off of Deer Park.”
Eddie pushed himself off the wall with the side of his fist, pounding it there, on his way outside to jump on his chopper.  The rest of the guys followed, including a woozy Van, stumbling as he got to his feet..
Chrome pipes roared to life one right after the other as the eight of them rumbled out of the parking lot.
—------
While Eddie and a handful of the Coffin Kings were blowing down the highway in the hot summer sun in pursuit of Craig, Steve was sipping champagne, getting his sleeves marked to be adjusted last minute by Charlene’s personal tailor. They were in her master bedroom overlooking the pool as beige curtains billowed in along with the soft echo of Joey by Concrete Blonde from the radio down near the jacuzzi.  Charlene had a see-through coverup over her zebra print bikini as she watched from her chair.  She liked to touch herself whenever the tailor wasn’t looking, and to be fair—Steve liked it too.  She plucked at her nipple and ran the tip of her tongue over her teeth, making his cock twitch in his pants as he gnawed vigorously on his Wrigley’s Spearmint gum.
He’d been with a few batshit crazy chicks in his day, but this one was up there with the battiest.  Honestly—he didn’t hate it.  The problem was, he’d started to have this crush on one of the new servers at The Velvet Hammer, and two things were wrong with it: one, he didn’t have time or room in his life for romance, and two, she kind of hated his guts.
She acted like she did, anyway.  She told him that his reputation preceded him, and that he’d never get in her pants, no matter how hard he tried.
Bet.
Charlene helped him to take his mind off of that, even though she did treat him like some sort of life-sized Ken doll.  Her sexual appetite was insatiable, and that afternoon, before the tailor got there, was the second time she’d asked him to choke her while she came until she almost passed out.
Steve was afraid of those torture kinks though; afraid he might not know his own strength one time and take his anger out on his partner.  He had a switch inside of him that was either on or off, and he didn’t know how to idle in between.
The tailor walked away to the vanity to grab something, and Charlene sauntered over to pretend she was fixing Steve’s collar.  She leaned forward to whisper in his ear: “I want to feel your cum drip out of me all night,” and it gave him a shiver.  He would definitely have to fuck her again before they left, and maybe again in the towncar on the way there.
—------
The thing that surprised Charlene the most was not how attracted she was to Steve, but how she was starting to not miss Eddie anymore.  This all started as a way to get closer to Eddie, and to get back at him at the same time, but now all she could think about was being naked with Steve—to have him rip her suit off with his teeth.
He’d left marks on her, because she asked him too, and there was some slight bruising around her throat that she loved to admire.  John wouldn’t ask about it, he didn’t care what she did. Eddie always refused to indulge her in that way—he would fuck her rough, sure, but he didn’t like the idea of introducing pain, and none of her other lovers had the right touch until now.
She watched Steve’s jaw muscles work as he chewed his gum, and then he winked at her after the tailor asked him a question.  She was down bad in a way that made her want to be 15 years younger, to start completely over with someone like Steve. Maybe it would’ve made her a different, softer person, maybe they would’ve had a son together.  But then she remembered her situation and how that wasn’t an option, and then the bitterness flooded back in, rising like bile at the back of her throat.
While Steve was just trying to make it through the evening, Charlene was trying to think of ways to keep him with her forever.
—-------
You showed up at Robin’s with the only dress you had that qualified as formal wear—the style was possibly outdated by ten years.  You brought your Caboodles makeup case too, because you knew how much Oliver loved to watch you put makeup on.  Robin never wore makeup, aside from some lipstick now and then, so she always appreciated it when you or Katie indulged him.  You had a polaroid back at the duplex of the makeup Oliver put on Steve once; wide, outlined red lips, bright green lids from lashline to eyebrow, and a dusting of glitter.
“Which color do you think?” You asked, gesturing to your eyelids, in front of the bathroom mirror while Ollie stood on a step stool next to you.  He had on a pair of bright yellow swim trunks and a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles tank top.
“I think this blue for one eye,” he scratched his head, tapping the hard plastic shell over a sparkly turquoise with a tiny finger.  He paused his hand as his eyes moved around, and made a serious face, concentrating.  “And this color for the other eye,” the other color was a dark red.
He looked up at you with those big, honey brown Steve eyes, waiting for you to start applying them, rubbing his lips together.  “Ollie, my love,” you chuckled.  “One day, your artistic genius will be appreciated, but I don’t think Hawkins is ready for it quite yet.”
“What if we do these,” you showed him a few things including eyeliner and blush. “And I’ll let you put some of the mascara on me.”
He nodded, eyes widening at all of the options scattered around the sink, wanting to put it all on your face at once.
Suddenly, there was a pounding at the front door that made your heart stop.
You told Oliver to wait in the bathroom and shut the door while you went to check it out.
Relief flooded in when you realized it was only Robin. She’d gone out to close the garage and accidentally locked herself out of the house.  Who else had you expected? Craig? Surely, he had no idea where Steve and Robin lived.
Paul’s mom Raina was running an hour late to pick Oliver up with promises of ice cream and Scooby Doo, so you missed the wedding itself, but the two of you decided you’d still make it to the reception; shame to waste all the time you took getting ready. While you had a glass of wine in the kitchen and helped Robin zip up the back of her navy blue, strapless dress, you kept looking at the phone, and glancing out the living room window to the street, waiting to see Eddie, or at least hear from him.  On your way out the door, you tried his apartment one more time, but hung up before you could leave another message.
—------
The Coffin Kings zoomed along the highway, weaving in and out of cars, keeping to a tight, intimidating pack as much as possible with Bones out in front and Eddie right behind him, hair flying in the wind. Thumper caught sight of them from a road crossing and joined, spitting up a cloud of dust as he went.
Up ahead, there was a bottleneck in traffic as two lanes converged, and the line of cars were beginning to slow down.  Eddie spotted the SUV in the distance and waved the group to the side of the highway to bypass all of the vehicles at a standstill.
Eddie’s arm muscles were tight and flexed, the sleeves of his Pantera tee exposing his tan, inked arms.  His face was locked in a permanent frown as he braced against the wind.  Four of the other guys went around the opposite side of the highway, ready to box in the target.
The windows of the SUV were tinted, but Eddie could tell that the guy must’ve seen them coming in his rearview mirror because the vehicle lurched, wheels cranking, trying to get out on the lip of the road to escape.
Eddie sped up, twisting the throttle on the right handlebar, weaving in through the cars again to rage down the dotted yellow line.
The SUV bolted out from the line of cars, dove into the ditch, and then corrected itself before swerving onto an unpaved road that led out through the trees.
The gang followed; Eddie and Thumper got up behind it, eating dust from the tires, and once they were away from the traffic cluster, Thumper reached down for his handgun, aimed it at the back tire and shot twice.
The vehicle swerved and kept going but slowed down enough for them to get along each side, and then Bones raised his gun and blew out the back window.
The SUV turned so fast that Thumper lost control and flipped his bike into the dirt, but motioned for the others to keep going.
There was a dead-end curve with metal railing, and that is where the vehicle finally screeched to a halt sideways.  A few of the guys stayed on their bikes and aimed their guns at the driver’s side door, while Eddie dismounted and waited to see if Craig would step out, but he didn’t, so Eddie went over and yanked it open for him.
“Please please please don’t kill me!” The woman behind the steering wheel screamed, holding her hands up. She was in her early fifties, highlights of gray hair in her brunette bob, wearing an orange corduroy jumper over a floral shirt.
The woman was in tears, and Eddie stepped back in disbelief.  He jerked open the side door only to realize it was the same make of SUV, but it did not belong to Craig.
“You can take my wallet,” the woman stammered.  “It’s in my—”
“We’re sorry, ma’am,” Bones told her, motioning for everyone to lower their weapons as a dust cloud settled around them.  “There’s been a terrible mistake.”
Eddie started to walk away but then let out a violent curse at the last minute and punched the side of the SUV causing it to dent.
—------
Steve ran the tip of his tongue over his gold incisor and buttoned his jacket as he came around the passenger side of the Jaguar to take Charlene’s hand at the entrance to the Golden Lion Hotel & Resort before he tossed the keys to the valet.  The tats on his hands and throat were an interesting pairing with the fancy suit he had on, and it took all of Charlene’s willpower not to kiss him right there.  She knew what everyone whispered about—she knew that the infidelities both her and John exercised were well known in town—but it was important to continue the facade.
It was a strange arrangement in more ways than one: Steve escorted her inside to where a group of her friends were, but then was told to wait out front like a guard until the ceremony and dinner were over.  Steve took a walk, smoked half a pack of cigarettes, talked to some of the other drivers, and sat in the lobby, bobbing his knee restlessly. Charlene came out to check on him a few times, like someone would a dog, even brought him a plate of food.  He planned to wait until the music for the dancing started, and then he’d go and find his benefactress to ask how much longer they needed to stay.  He didn’t mind Charlene—he thought she was hot as hell—but the only thing motivating him to stick around was feeling that wad of cash in his pocket once the evening was over.
He saw Eddie’s ex Melanie at the bar taking shots with her friend, and he ducked behind a collection of imported palm trees so that they wouldn’t see him.
______
“Steve!” You called across the parking lot as your heels clapped up the pavement with Robin close behind you.  You were relieved to see that he was alone, if only for a moment.
He was afraid to look up at first, his head bent down as he finished the last of his smoke, not sure if it was someone he wanted to ignore.  But, when his eyebrows finally lifted the rest of his head up, his face beamed with a mix of relief and confusion.
“What the hell are you two doing here?” His surprised expression landed on Robin; it was only the third time in his life he’d seen her in a dress.  He almost didn’t recognize her.
Robin scoffed.  “I wanted to go to this wedding in the first place, remember?”
“Oh shit,” Steve balked. “Is this Scott’s wedding you were telling me about?”
Robin shook her head and snorted a laugh out her nose.  “You are unreal.”
“Damn, I wasn’t paying any attention,” he jerked the corners of his mouth down in an oblivious frown.
“Hey,” you took Steve by the elbow, leaning in.  “The woman you’re here with, is her name Charlene?”
Steve’s ADHD was getting the better of him.  “Yes, why? Where’s Eddie? Is he coming? Did they catch that freak who broke into your place?”
You stammered, trying to choose which one to answer.  “I’m not sure, but I—”
And that was when Charlene showed up in the entranceway behind you—in the flesh—and beckoned for Steve to come inside.  You could almost feel her there, even without looking, and it made all of the hair on your body stand on end.
You turned to face her in all of her Sharon Stone glory, and in that moment, you could’ve sworn you saw a flicker of fear flash over her face as she recognized you.
“Stevie,” she said it louder, clearing her throat.  “Come have a drink with me?”
“Be right there,” Steve threw her a lift of his chin and grin, and then he turned back to you, running a hand through his hair.  “I have to go do this for a bit longer.  See you in there, though, yeah?”
But before you could say anything else, he patted your arm and strode over to greet Charlene, offering his elbow for her to take.  You could hear the music start up from the dancefloor: Good Vibrations by Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch.
Robin pushed tight to your side. “Is that her?” She asked. “The one who got Eddie stabbed?”
“That’s her,” you said, watching them through the glass as they disappeared around a corner.
“Hell no,” Robin pushed off with a huff. “I don’t care how much money she’s giving him, he needs to know,” and then she charged fullbore into the building, getting stuck in a crowd of people exiting, pushing her way through while trying to be polite.
“Robin, wait!” You blurted, still weary of Charlene’s reach and power.  You hustled after her, stopping to hold the door open for an elderly couple as people poured in and out to get some air, music vibrating in your chest.
You broke free into the lobby, scissored your way through the line for the bar, keeping your eye on the back of Robin up ahead.
That was when a strong arm snaked around your waist from behind and a mouth pressed against your ear, hissing at a whisper: “Try to fight me or make a sound and I’ll hurt your friends,” the voice promised.
It was Craig.
You could feel the stubble on his chin and smell the familiar Altoids and whiskey tang of his breath.
“Come with me?” He asked it as a question, but he knew you would nod, swallowing hard and then he grabbed your arm with one hand and rested the other on the small of your back, guiding you back and to the side, into the shadows.
You didn’t say a word, you just kept pace with him, knowing that his threats were never idle.
—-----
Eddie sent two of the guys ahead to bring a tow truck to take the woman’s SUV back to the shop, and he let her know that all of the repairs were on him, apologizing for the “mixup”.  But then Bones had to step in and have a serious conversation with her about how she shouldn’t tell anyone about what happened, especially the police—that it would be bad for her “health”.
It was dark by the time Eddie got back to his place.  He was angry and frustrated and fucking exhausted, but finding you was now his priority.  You told him you’d leave a message on his machine letting him know if you did a double shift at The Hammer, and so he went up to wash his face and see if you’d called.  His boots clomped wearily on the steps, tired shoulders rolling, his neck cracking.
With his shirt off, he dried the water and soap from his face, wet bangs brushed off his forehead, and then hung the towel around his neck as he played the messages he had.
The first one was from Melanie, and he deleted it as soon as it was over with a weary sigh.
He snatched the matchbook he found in Craig’s motel room from the nightstand and spun it in his fingers as he sat down on the bed, lips jerking up in a smile at the sound of your voice in the next message.
You’d decided to go to a wedding with Robin.  He stopped twirling the matchbook and let that sink in.  But, Steve would be there too, you assured him, and you asked him to join you if he was in the mood.  You said you’d call when you got back to Robin’s if you didn’t see or hear from him.  You told him you loved him, and he whispered, “I love you too,” at the machine.
The only problem was, you forgot to mention where, exactly, the wedding was.
He spun the matchbook again as the next voice clicked on:  Melanie. Again.
But, this time her words made an uncomfortable lump form in his throat.
Melanie was at the same wedding? Fuck.
The end of her message sent fireworks through his blood, and he put the matchbook down to go over and search through the pile of papers on his desk for the invitation that he got.  It was still sealed in the envelope, and he ripped the corner open with his teeth, spitting out the paper, cringing as confetti fluttered to the ground when he pulled out the buttercream invitation with lace corners.
Golden Lion Hotel and Resort
His mouth went dry as he circled back around the bed to pick up the matchbook again, realizing with a buzzing in his ears that it was from the same place.
And it had been in Craig’s room.  The only trace left of him in an otherwise immaculate space.
Eddie squeezed the matchbook so tight in his fist, he crushed it, and then he went to find you.
Part 15
I cherish you all, and please remember that your comments, especially your reblogs, mean the absolute world to me.

Community Service (pt.2)
Katsuki Bakugo + Dogs + A Water Fight + Protectiveness = ???
The door chimes as I pull it open, a blast of cool air rushing over me. I step inside, relishing the refreshing chill that instantly soothes my overheated skin. Behind the front desk, a woman looks up from her computer.
"Good morning! How can I help you?" she greets me cheerfully.
"Hi, I spoke to someone on the phone about completing my UA volunteer services here," I walk over to the counter and wiping the sweat from my forehead.
She nods, her smile widening. "Of course! You must be from U.A. High School. Let me check… You’re here with Katsuki Bakugo, right?"
"That's right," I confirm, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves.
"We’re excited to have two heroes working with us today," she carries on with some small talk while typing something into the computer.
"Katsuki is already here. If you want to head outside, you should see him by the kennels. It's through this door, down the hall, and out the blue door."
"Thank you," I reply feeling a bit more at ease. "I’ll head out there now."
As I walk through the shelter's cool interior and step outside towards the kennels, the commotion of barking dogs grows louder. Turning the corner, I spot Bakugo standing amidst a group of excited dogs, his expression a mix of irritation and frustration.
"Finally," he snaps as soon as he spots me. "Took you long enough."
"Good to see you too," I reply cautiously. "Having fun?"
He scowls, pushing a particularly enthusiastic golden retriever away from his leg. "These damn dogs won't leave me alone. How am I supposed to get anything done with them jumping all over me?"
I chuckle lightly, stepping closer. "They just need a bit of attention. Here, let me help." Kneeling down, I offer out some love. The dogs begin to settle down, licking my face in appreciation.
Bakugo crosses his arms, observing me skeptically. "I don't get how you can be so calm around these mutts."
"It's all about patience," I explain, scratching behind the ears of a happy beagle. "And a little bit of understanding. They can sense your energy."
"Yeah, well, my energy's telling them to back off," he mutters, though he seems to relax a little as the dogs start to settle down.
Standing up, I give him an encouraging smile. "We'll get through this together, okay? Let's just focus on helping and make the best of it."
Bakugo huffs but nods grudgingly. "Fine. But if one of them bites me, I'm blaming you."
"Fair enough," I laugh.
We move over towards the cleaning station, that's already set up with buckets of soapy water and hoses. Bakugo grumbles under his breath, but he follows my lead, keeping his complaints to a minimum. I grab towels from the bin and glance up to see Bakugo watching me.
"Alright, grab that hose." I instruct, trying to maintain a light tone. With a treat and leash in hand, I coax a large, muddy Labrador towards the wash area.
Bakugo picks up the hose, turning it on with more force than necessary. "Hold still, you mutt," he scolds, aiming the spray at the dog, who promptly shakes, splattering water everywhere.
"Easy there," I caution, wiping water off my face. "You'll scare them off like that."
He gives me an exasperated look but adjusts his grip. "Fine, you handle the soap, and I'll rinse."
I nod, squirting shampoo onto the Labrador's back and starting to scrub. The dog wags its tail happily, splashing water and soap suds around.
"They just need a woman's touch," I remark, smiling up at Bakugo.
He rolls his eyes but can't hide a small smirk. "Whatever."
We work in sync, and soon the Labrador is looking much cleaner. I move him into another playyard and make my way back over to grab the next one. A mischievous terrier that proves to be more of a challenge as it squirms and wiggles in my arms.
"Hold him still!" Bakugo barks at me while the terrier attempts an escape. Bakugo attempts to help me hold him still, but it's no use.
"I'm trying!" I protest, laughing as the terrier shakes, splattering us both with soapy water.
"Great," Bakugo mumbles, wiping soap off his face. "Now we’re as wet as the dogs."
I chuckle and flick some suds in his direction. "Part of the job."
He narrows his eyes. "You think this is funny?"
Before I can react, Bakugo turns the hose on me, spraying a jet of water. I yelp and throw my hands up to shield myself. "Hey!"
"Watch yourself," he says with a smug grin, eyes glinting with mischief.
I scramble for the other hose turn it on him, spraying him back. Water flies everywhere, and soon we're in a full-blown water fight, laughing and shouting. The dogs join in barking and chasing the spray, their fur getting soaked. Katsuki chases me around the yard attempting to not fall on the wet grass. The cold water feels refreshing in the warm sun, and our laughter echoes. Katsuki grabs my forearm and pulls me into his chest as he overestimates his speed and slips. His hands wrap around my head protecting me during the fall.
"Okay, okay, I give up!" I call out between giggles, trying to catch my breath.
Bakugo releases me slowly, breathing heavily but smiling wide. "That’s what I thought."
The terrier nudges Bakugo's shoulder, prompting him to pat its head gently. He smiles faintly. "Alright, alright, maybe later."
We lay there for a moment, still laughing, with the sun shining down on us. The yard is a mess, and the dogs are still running around, but we don’t care. It was worth it. Our clothes are drenched, and our shoes squish with every step. The dogs shake off water, spraying us even more, and we can't help but laugh again.
"You're not bad with that thing," Bakugo mutters, helping me stand up.
I glance at him, surprised by the compliment. "Useless at fighting but dangerous with a water gun, huh?"
Bakugo looks at me, puzzled. "Who said you're not good at fighting?"
My eyes widen, and I look away, trying to downplay it. "Oh, no one really."
His expression hardens as he steps closer. "Is someone bothering you?"
I shake my head quickly, not wanting to make a big deal out of it. "It's nothing, really."
Bakugo's jaw tightens, clearly not convinced. "Tell me who it is."
I hesitate, knowing how he can be when he's angry. "It's just... some people, you know, talking. It doesn't matter."
Katsuki's eyebrows knit together, clearly frustrated. "You're in our class, and they aren't. That's all the proof you need that you're better than those losers."
I remain quiet, and he lets the topic drop. We're able to finish up with the dogs, neither of us wanting to break the silence. I expected to see him leave before me, but to my surprise, he's slumped over in a chair in the lobby as I walk out of the office, my signed paperwork in hand.
"Everything okay?" I ask, my voice breaking the stillness that has settled between us.
Bakugo looks up, his eyes tired but alert. He just nods, a slight jerk of his head. "Waiting for you," he mutters.
I nod back, feeling a bit awkward. Bakugo can be harsh, but in his own odd way, he seems to care.
"Thanks," I thank him softly, unsure if he even hears me.
He stands up, stretching his shoulders before silently walking out of the front door.
I follow him towards the exit. The cool evening air hits us as we step outside, and for a moment, we both just stand there, taking it in.
"Bakugo," I start, "Thanks. For waiting."
He shrugs, not meeting my eyes. "Yea, whatever."
My mind races as I follow his lead towards campus. I thought we had a good time this afternoon, but his shortness doesn't reflect that.
I keep quiet as we travel, not wanting to bother him further. The evening sky casts long shadows on the path, and the sounds of our footsteps fill the silence between us. I steal glances at Bakugo, noticing the tension in his posture and how his fists occasionally clench.
When we arrive back on campus, I offer him a small smile. "Thanks again, Bakugo," I mumble as I head upstairs to shower and change.
He nods curtly, his eyes not leaving me until I round the corner of the stairs. His gaze lingering on me the entire time.
I have such bad writers block at the moment. Let me know if you guys like this or not!

Elbert Greetia: Chapter 20
Chapter 19 Premium Story
♡———♡
--I found myself standing in the shallows.
The sun was sinking into the distant horizon, and my body was rapidly growing cold.
Kate: Lord Elbert...
Elbert: Kate...
I turned to see her smiling, and we embraced each other without a word.
The moment I felt her warmth, an indescribable happiness filled my chest.
But then...
Kate: Ah... Lord Elbert, the waves...
Elbert: ...!
A large wave crashed nearby, spraying us with water and chilling our bodies that had just been warmed.
The waves that had been playing around our ankles had risen up to our chests before we knew it.
(We need to get back to the shore, quickly.)
I tried to move my legs while holding her, but they wouldn't budge.
I looked down and saw a needle stuck in my foot.
A familiar needle... the one I used to pin butterflies to their backs when making specimens.
Kate: Lord Elbert...
Kate's terribly sad eyes pierced my heart like a needle.
(--You have to go back to the shore.)
(--I won't let go of your hand.)
I tried to say it, but the words caught in my throat.
Elbert: --...
The water had already risen to her throat... but she clung to my chest, refusing to let go.
(Kate--)
Before I knew it, the water was far above my head.
It's hard to breathe. I can't even breathe.
And yet-
-My arms are still holding her tight...
I can't seem to let go.
-
Kate: Lord Elbert...!
Elbert: Ha... ha... ...?
Elbert finally woke up, breathing heavily in bed, and looked at me in his arms with a confused expression.
Elbert: ... I was... asleep...?
Kate: Yes. You were having a terrible nightmare...
We had made love as if melting into each other, and before we knew it, we had fallen into a happy slumber - I had just woken up in Elbert's arms, hearing his pained voice.
Kate: Are you alright?
Elbert: ...
Elbert remained silent, tightening his arms around me.
(I wonder if he had a scary dream...)
I put my arms around his back and gently stroked it to calm him down.
Elbert's breathing gradually became calmer.
Elbert: You...
Elbert: I had a dream that I was dragging you down to the bottom of the sea.
Kate: ...The bottom of the sea?
Elbert's shoulders were trembling as if he were enduring the cold.
Elbert: ...I was crucified at the bottom of the sea, unable to move.
Elbert: I knew you would drown if I held you... but I couldn't let go.
Elbert: You...wouldn't let go of me either.
Elbert: ...It was very scary.
The arms holding me tighten, almost painfully so.
Kate: ...Lord Elbert...
For Elbert, "himself" was someone who brought sadness and death to those he cared about simply by existing, and "happy days" were fragile and fleeting things that could be broken by the slightest trigger.
(That's why... he has nightmares about happiness being destroyed...)
I tighten my arms around his back, wanting to heal the wounds that the dream has opened up, even if just a little.
Elbert: ...I feel like I'm taking everything away from you.
Elbert: The warm happiness, the untroubled future... everything you were supposed to have.
Elbert: The thought of hurting you again... and making you sad... makes me feel like I'm going crazy, but...
Elbert: I...
Elbert: I would rather drown with you than let you go back to the shore.
Kate: ...!
Elbert: I was happy that you wouldn't leave me and would sink to the bottom of the sea with me.
Elbert: I was so scared of myself for thinking that.
(...Oh, what should I do?)
(Elbert is suffering so much.)
I'm tormented by guilt and fear, but the fact that Elbert wants me so much...
(...It makes me so happy.)
Kate: There may be sadness and hurt in the future...
Kate: But even so, I... I want to be with you, Lord Elbert.
Kate: Besides... if we're together...
Kate: I feel like we'll encounter more happiness than sadness.
Elbert: ...Is that so?
Kate: Yes, it is. Because even now...
Kate: I'm so happy and glad that you're holding me so tightly that it hurts.
Elbert: ...
Elbert: ...Me too.
Elbert: I want to be... strong like you.
Elbert: So I can make you happy. ...So you won't go anywhere.
His whispers were like prayers, and my chest overflowed with love.
(Guilt will surely follow us forever.)
(Just like my heart still aches when I think of Daisy...)
(But still, what can I do to keep Elbert from being swallowed by nightmares?)
Just then, Elbert's stomach growled cutely.
Elbert and Kate: ...Are you hungry? / ...Are you hungry?
(Huh?)
Kate: ...That was you, Lord Elbert, right?
Elbert: ...Me?
Elbert blinked his long, bisque doll-like eyelashes and looked down at his stomach in wonder.
Elbert: ...I, see.
Elbert: ...I'm sorry... It's been so long since I've felt it, I didn't recognize it.
Elbert shyly averted his gaze.
(H-How cute...)
His rare gesture made me feel a childish innocence, and a sweet ache in the depths of my chest.
(But, it's been a while since he's felt hungry...)
I felt a pang of sadness, sensing the weight of the suffering he had endured until now, but more than that, I was happy about the change in Elbert.
Kate: I'll get you something to eat.
Elbert: ... I'll go.
Kate: No, patients need to stay in bed. Is there anything you'd like to eat?
Elbert: ... An apple.
Kate: Hehe... Okay.
Kate: Oh, but... I'll check with Roger first to make sure it's okay for you to eat it.
Elbert: Roger...?
Kate: Your mouth and throat might be injured... He might need to grate it or do something else to it.
Elbert: ..............
(Roger was supposed to be taking a nap on the first floor...)
As I got out of bed and got dressed, I suddenly realized something.
(Come to think of it, I think Roger said his ability was that he had really good hearing...)
(Just now, my voice...)
As I tied the ribbon behind my neck, I recalled the memories of when we were making love.
We were so desperate for each other that we couldn't think of anything else.
(I don't know what kind of face to make when I talk to him...)
As I fastened the belt of my skirt, I thought about it over and over again.
Kate: Ah...!
An arm wrapped around my stomach from behind and pulled me into bed.
Kate: L-Lord Elbert...?
I stumbled and sat down on the edge of the bed, between Elbert's long, slender legs.
Elbert: ...I don't need to eat anything after all.
Kate: Huh? But you're hungry...
Elbert: I don't want you to leave.
Kate: ...What!?
Elbert: Stay here.
(...Could it be?)
(Is he jealous of Roger...?)
Elbert: ...No?
He buried his face in the nape of my neck, and my skin flushed hot.
Kate: No... It's not a no. But... Why?
Elbert: Because you're... so beautiful right now.
Elbert: I don't want to show you to anyone.
Elbert: If they see you, they'll want you.
Elbert: ...Like I do now.
His voice, tinged with a hint of sweetness, tickled my earlobe.
(Until now... even when Elbert told me he wanted me, I couldn't accept it honestly.)
(Because I couldn't respond to a hand extended to atone for a sin.)
(But from now on... when Elbert wants me,)
(It's all... for me and him to be happy.)
My chest felt hot, and I felt like I was losing the strength to resist his arms.
But I somehow managed to gather my wits and gently pushed his arm away from my waist.
Kate: I'm happy, Lord Elbert.
Kate: But... you still need to eat properly.
Elbert: .............
(Ugh...)
His eyes, like jewels that held the sea within them, stared at me intently, and my resolve wavered.
Kate: Lord Elbert... Please.
Elbert: ... No.
Kate: Ah...
Elbert brought his lips to the nape of my neck and sucked hard on my skin.
Kate: Mm...
A sweet pain shot through me, and a whimper escaped my lips.
Kate: L-Lord EElbert...
Elbert: ... What?
Kate: What.....Ah....
I felt a wet sensation, as if lips that had touched the nape of my neck again.
Hard teeth sweetly bit my skin, and the tip of his tongue caressed over it as a slight pain ran through me.
(On such a place, if you put so much on it...)
Kate: Ah, nnn... Lord Elbert, no...
Elbert: Nn...,...
Restraining my trembling body with both arms, Lord Elbert sucked my skin even harder.
--The sweet torture was stopped by a sudden knock.
(...!?)
Without hesitation, the door to the room opened.
Alfons: Excuse me, was I interrupting a moment of love?
Alfons: Just kidding, I knew you were in here.
Elbert: Al...?
Kate: Alfons...!
Alfons: It seems you've cheated death, El. That's great.
Kate: Where have you been?
I asked without thinking, forgetting the current situation.
He had disappeared somewhere while Elbert was on the brink of death.
Alfons: Does it matter where I was? I didn't want to see Elbert die.
Kate: Why not...?
Alfons: ...Because I might have been glad he died before me, and I didn't want to feel that way.
( ...What does that mean?)
Elbert: ...Welcome back, Al.
Elbert greeted Alfons in his usual manner.
Perhaps they both understood the true intentions hidden deep within each other.
Alfons: Anyway, you seem to be having fun. Let me join in.
Kate: Join in...?
I was momentarily confused by his sudden remark.
Elbert: ...................
Kate: Hmm...?
Elbert sucked on my neck forcefully, as if to show off.
Kate: L-Lord Elbert...!
(In front of Alfons...!)
Elbert: ...You can't, Al.
Alfons: ……Hehe, I won't take it. I've never taken your toy, have I?
Alfons: I said, "Let me join in," not "Lend it to me." I just want to play together sometimes.
Alfons: ……It seems like the only thing that's changed is that you're confining her in your arms instead of that room.
Elbert: ..............
Seeing Alfons shrug with a "Well, well," Elbert reluctantly released his arms from my body.
Elbert: ……Don't hide the marks.
Elbert: Stay at least three steps away from Roger when you talk to him.
Even without looking in the mirror, I know there must be many crimson ownership marks on the nape of my neck.
Elbert stared intently at me.
The depths of my body trembled under his gaze, a thick mixture of anxiety, possessiveness, and lust.
Kate: Yes, I will……
Elbert: ……Hmm.
-
Alfons opened the door for me, and I slipped past him, leaving the room behind.
(So many kiss marks... and then he tells me to stay three steps away.)
The affection he directs towards me might be... much more intense and heavy than I realize.
(...What should I do?)
(My face is burning... my chest feels tight.)
The intense affection directed at him, who still carries an unhealed heart, feels somewhat precarious, like something I shouldn't simply be happy about.
(...More.)
(I want to be desired by Elbert.)
I wanted to be captured once more by the arms I had just escaped from.
-
After watching Kate leave.
Elbert: ...Al...
Elbert collapsed onto the bed, muttering softly.
Elbert: Thank you for getting Kate out of that room...
Alfons: ...What are you talking about? It's not unusual for me to take things from that room without permission.
Alfons twisted his lips and shrugged, his eyes following the door Kate had exited.
Alfons: But... what a terrible obsession, wouldn't you say?
Elbert: ...I know....But I can't stop myself.
Elbert: Her voice, her breath, her gaze, everything... I don't want to give any of it to anyone else.
Elbert: I want all of her.
Alfons: If anything happens to Kate because of you, you probably won't survive, you know.
Elbert: ......Yeah.
Elbert: It's okay... I won't let that happen.
Elbert: I'll protect her. So she won't get hurt, so she won't be sad...
Elbert: Always, carefully, carefully...
After waiting for Elbert's condition to recover, we returned to Crown Castle.
-
Victor: Ah! Welcome back, my beloved cursed ones, and Kate!
Victor: Elbert, I'm so glad you're safe!
Elbert: Ugh...
William: Victor, Elbert's suffocating, let him go.
Victor: Ah, sorry, sorry!
Victor quickly released Elbert from his tight embrace.
Victor wasn't the only one happy about Elbert's safe return.
William: You look good for someone who was poisoned, Elbert.
Elbert: ...I'm sorry about that time. Thank you for coming to help.
William: If you want to thank someone, thank Roger, who treated you.
Roger: Yeah, I've already been thanked, so don't worry about it.
Elbert: ...? Did you give him something?
Roger: Clinical data on the effects of monkshood poison on cursed and normal humans, and the recovery process.
Roger: This will help advance research on the cursed. Thanks for your hard work.
Kate: ...
(Well, that's certainly a doctor-like way of thinking...)
I'm a little taken aback by his overly calm approach.
Alfons: That's just how he is, Kate.
Alfons: The kind of guy who thinks about how many more milliliters of poison it would take to kill someone while his friend is on the verge of death.
Roger: Hey, hey, don't say such dangerous things. It's more like, how many milliliters can he take before he dies.
(Roger is... more of an egoist than I thought...)
Ellis: El, are you in pain anywhere? Do you still feel sick?
Elbert: ...No. Thank you.
Ellis: That's good...
Ellis: ...You look much happier than when you left the castle.
Elbert: ......
Elbert's eyes blink at Ellis' words.
(Other people can see it too.)
(...I'm kind of happy.)
I can't help but smile, and it seems Elbert feels the same way.
Elbert: ...Maybe so.
Ellis: .....
Harrison: ......Huh.
Liam: Aha, El smiled. What's up? Is it the power of Kate's love?
Jude: Tch... How long are ya gonna' keep up this touchin' reunion?
Roger: If you're jealous, you can hug him too.
Jude: I'll beat you up.
Victor: Jude's patience for the buddy-buddy time seems to be running out, so let's get down to business!
Victor's mention of "business" reminds me of Gabriel, who was left behind on the ship.
Kate: By business, you mean... the Bernard Trading Company?
Victor: You guessed it. As for what happened to them...
Gabriel Bernard was condemned by William that night.
Victor continued, saying that they had also succeeded in obtaining information about politicians from various countries who were secretly connected to the Bernard Trading Company, and that they would also be punished accordingly.
William: From now on, we will identify the most malicious individuals from the customer list and punish them ourselves.
Kate: ...I understand. Thank you for telling me.
Victor: Also... it's almost been a month since Kate became a Fairytale Keeper.
Kate: ...!
(That's right... It's already been a month.)
I'm here because of the contract I made to avoid being killed and to return to my normal life.
Victor: So far, you've kept the secret well.
Victor: If you keep this up, I can offer you the option to return to your normal life.
Victor: Tell me what you want to do when the promised day comes.
Kate: ...Yes, I understand.
I accepted, but my mind was already made up.
(I can't go back to who I was when I first made the contract...)
(No matter what sad sights or dangers I face from now on)
(I want to stay by Elbert's side.)
Elbert: ...............
I smile at Elbert to reassure him as I meet his gaze.
--At this time, I didn't know yet.
That my presence by his side would deepen his sins even further--.

Here's a snippet of my new fic! It'll either be a 5+1 or something insane we'll see 🤗
----
He's had enough of this guy. He knew karaoke Fridays were a bad idea but did anyone listen to him? No. He's the boss. He runs this place. Why did he have to hire all his friends?
"I WANNA DANCE WITH SOMEBODY!"
The drunk on the stage croons.
"I WANNA FEEL THE HEAT WITH SOMEBODY- LIKE YOU DID WITH MY BEST FRIEND SHARON FUCK YOU SHARON-"
"Okaaaay that's enough man," Eddie hops on the stage. "C'mon dude sit down or I'm gonna ask you to leave."
"Oh yeah?" The bastard spits at him. Literal spit. On his face.
"That's it! You're outta here!"
"No!" He's still trying to sing while the bouncers grab him. "I WANNA FEEL THE HEAAAAAAT NO LET GO OF ME! I DESERVE TO EXPRESS MY FEELINGS!"
Jesus christ he's so glad he has Hopper on speed dial. He calls the station up and is only kind of thrown off when a new voice picks up.
"Sheriff's office. Max speaking."
"Max? Where's Hop he always answers?"
"Retired. Last day was yesterday. What do you want."
"Um well I need someone down here to get this drunk out of my bar-"
"K got it." Dial tone.
"She just hung up on me!"
"Girlsull do that to ya" the drunk slurs. Pinned down my security.
"Shut it Leonard!"
---
When will this guy shut up. He's still singing that stupid song.
Eddie's behind the bar with his fingers in his ears. Most of the customers headed out and it wasn't even 11 yet.
"You'll hurt your ears doing that," a voice beside him pipes up.
Eddie spins around and is face to face with the hottest man he's seen around these parts. In a cops uniform. Fuck.
"So what's the issue?" Officer Mchottie says.
Eddie just points to Leanoard. Jeff is sitting on top of him.
"I never would've guessed," he smirks. Oh my god his stupid face. He needs to touch it.
"Good luck officer!" Leonard shouts half asleep.
Eddie hold up the soda water spray nozzle and aims it at Leonard. "Don't say I didn't warn you"
"Alright calm down. I'll get him out." He puts a hand on Eddie's his skin burns where it touches. "No need for soda induced violence." He's looking softly at Eddie.
"Right. Right. Thanks officer..."
"Harrington." He holds out a hand for Eddie to shake. "Steve Harrington."
"Well officer Stevie, Eddie Munson pleasure is all mine."
"I'm sure it is." He gets Leonard off the ground and hauls him out the door. "This better not become a reoccurring thing Munson!" He shouts out.
"Of course not officer!" Eddie's grin is wicked.
It absolutely will be.

You asked, you shall receive. @exuberantocean
🌘Sleepy Doctor Head Canons 🌒
(And more)
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
♤ 9 barley ever sleeps when he has companions. He'd try to sleep the bare minimum that he could, hence why he was so tired as 10.
♤ 9 will lay with you if you asked, but you're hilarious if you think he's going to sleep. He has too much to think about, and if he falls asleep, there's a chance of grusome nightmares. Yeah, it's not happening, mate, sorry.
♤ When he does sleep its ussually sitting upright. The TARDIS has scolded him multiple times for dozing off while literally standing. He just crosses his arms and nods off like someone's uncle at a boring cookout.
♤ He slept a little more when it was just Rose and Him, but was far too nervous to let her near him when he was asleep in fear he'd hurt her from bad dreams. (He's strangled companions in the past and would be devistated if he did that to her.)
Tumblr media
☆10 is a sleepy boy. He doesn't sleep as much as 12 or 14, but he definitely does try to get at least SOME sleep every day(night)
☆If for some reason he can't sleep that long for multiple days in a row, he becomes cranky. He needs at least 4 out of the 24 hours per day, He likes 6 every night (specifically if they're on earths clock) from 2 am to 8 am. Sometimes, he will sleep 8 if he's really tired, but often doesn't because he's far too busy or energetic.
☆ 10 likes sleeping with companions (OI! Knock it off, you nasty animals! Don't make me spray you.) This being said, Rose is definitely his favorite, and she is the only one he feels comfortable with being actually asleep.
☆ Meaning if Rose is not around? You will not catch him deep sleeping. He doesn't trust himself to fully sleep around others yet. He doesn't close off the cuddle pile, though, so anyone can join. As long as Rose is there to calm him if something goes sideways in his head.
☆ He really likes curling up and his hair being played with until he falls asleep. The second you stop stroking his head back cheeks, he likes anywhere, really. He wakes up and whines and asks why'd you stop.
Tumblr media
♧ 11 is like trying to get.. well.. an 11 year old to go to sleep. It's going to take some work and some bribing. He's a "naps add up" kind of guy rather than a full term.
♧ Will he sleep in front of others? Yes. Will he also purposly stay up all night so that he doesn't have to chance a nightmare? Yes. Do I see him taking naps with Rory in random sitting upright chairs with his arms crossed and his fez tilted down? Also, yes.
♧ 11 much rather go Go GO than go to bed. When he does actually sleep in a bed, it's usually fully clothed so he can jump up if needed. Stuffies are optional but appreciated.
♧ If your goal is to tire him out for bed? Good luck. The only person who can successfully get him to go to bed is River, and even then, that's only if she plays with his hair and promises to him nothing will happen if he dozes off for an hour or two. That she'll "Watch the universe" for him. When he asks what will happen, she just smiles and says "Spoilers, sweetie. Spoilers."
Tumblr media
◇ Despite the fact he jumped out the bedroom window the second anyone wasn't watching him, 12 has come to learn to like beds and sleeps like a mideval peasent whos been struck by plauge.
◇ He snores loudly, breaths heavily, grunts, rolls, kicks, you name it, he does it, but he sleeps with his mouth open, so most times he keeps water near him if hes in a bed. If he's in a chair upright, his snores are much quiter. Maybe it's because he's older, maybe it's because when he nods off, it's more of a passing out rather than a willing thing, so he never gets too deep into the RIM cycle.
◇ He claims that he doesn't enjoy touching or hugging, that he's "not that kind of person," but you can catch him hugging pillows as if they were people he once knew..
◇ If you're really lucky and he's having a bad time, he might ask you to sleep in the same bed with him, but don't expect to be cuddled rather than stared at the entire night.
◇The only person who has succeeded in cuddles is probably Missy, and it was by force. Missy likes her cuddles. (Maayybbee Clara, but he's kind of afraid of crushing her. Time Lords are heavy, you know.)
◇ 12 nods off like a grandpa in church after 2:15 pm. but not nearly as much as 14, and never mid conversation. Mid movie though? Always.
◇If he's having a hard time getting to sleep, he'll litsen to 80s rock.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
♡ 13 gets anxious when asked to sleep. She had 20 years' worth of sleep already from Prison. She doesn't want to sleep any time soon. Bunk beds are not cool anymore.
♡ Much like 11, she would rather not sleep unless she has too and would prefer moving on and pushing through then sleeping. She can leave sleep for the next one (which she did)
♡ You can often find her staying up tinkering for multiple nights until she physically crashes while there's a tool in her hand and WHOOPS there goes the TARDIS!! Now something is on fire, but oh well. She'll be fine.
♡ 13 ADORES cuddling and holding hands while laying down. Just don't ask her to go to sleep or else she will become worrisome. She is the type of incarnation that needs to relax enough to fall asleep on her own, without prompt or mention of going to sleep. Yaz has gotten her to fall asleep a few times, and after that, it's cat laws. No moving allowed.
Tumblr media
● As mentioned before, 14 is always nodding off in random places. The Noble's entire property is a big spot with the label "SAFE FOR SLEEPING" on it, whether it be the couch with Wilf, in a rocking chair, the kitchen chairs, the lawn chairs outside, up in his room in the attic, hell sometimes you'll catch him on the floor in Rosie's room.
● They *were* talking about homework and UNIT, but he got mid way through a story and passed out on the carpet in which Rosie put a weighted blanket on him and gave him some stuffed animals she made. This is usually how it goes. If he falls asleep anywhere but his own room, he can almost always wake up to a blanket on him (or his coat on him) and at least one plushie.
● About once a week, its not rare for Sylvia to come down in the morning and see him sleeping at the kitchen table in his robe, For Donna to find him snoring on the couch with Wilfred and make a joke about 'which one is grandad?' Or for Shaun to come home only to see a man cuddled up with his wife in their bed. At this point, he doesn't even mind it, just joins right in.
"Night terrors again?"
"Ooh.. yeah, Sorry. He just sort of crawled in."
"Like Rose used too?"
"Exactly like that. But if he comes tellin' me he threw up, I might slap him."
"Well, scoot over, This is my bed too innut?"
●The nighbors used to be concerned about an alien living in Donna's attic, but now they just adore him and give Donna a ring if they get too worried. Bassically, the whole neighborhood is on Doctor Duty. He aint dying on their watch.
"y'ello?"
"Ohh, Hello Donna."
"Hello Marjorie... is this about the doctor?"
"Oh yes Im sorry, I know you said he's alright, but it's been almost 5 hours, and he hasn't budged an inch."
"Alright, one second- OI!! GET UP AND GET YER ARSE INSIDE! YOU'RE SCARING THE NEIGHBORS AGAIN!"
And that's usually when he startles awake and is forced into the house. If he doesn't wake up from that, he gets a slap. If that doesn't wake him up, 15 is called to take care of it.
● Thursdays, he is especially tired because therapy causes him emotional disregulation, and crying that much can make someone tired.

■ Take one look at this man and tell me if you think he sleeps on a regular schedule or not. The awnser is No. When 15 does sleep, it's either a long time for 1 day or short amounts for multiple days. No in between.
■ He likes sleeping somewhere cozy and dimmed with orange/ yellow lights. I can see him snoozing in the memory Tardis with Ruby. He also goes stargazing with Ruby and sometimes nods off after a few hours of that but him in a bed? Never.
■ Sometimes, he pops by to nap with 14 because what's more therapeutic than cuddling yourself? Can't be snuck up on and attacked if there's an angry red head downstairs willing to fight the ToyMaster himself if he decided to try and wake up her dear friends the Doctor.
■ He enjoys sleeping with someone he knows well enough not to kill him/ will protect him if someone tries. This list so far invovles Ruby, Mel, Himself, (and Rouge if he didn't immediately dip out), possibly Rose if Donna allows it. (Hes kinda scared of her)

🌑Creepypastas Personalities and things they do in my eyes🌑
Tumblr media Tumblr media
🫀 Eyeless Jack is very stoic, not showing much emotion ever. If he has to, for example if he helps to calm down Sally he’ll show concern. But outside of the mansion he never shows emotion. He’s kind when he wants to be, and isn’t completely heartless. If a pasta that he particularly likes is sick than he’ll go out of his way to check on them and grabbing something they need and once his sees that they’re okay he’s gone. If one of the proxies gets hurt in the field? He’s actually throwing a fit that they should be more careful. He’s one of those types of people where he gets mad when someone’s hurt because he couldn’t stop them from it, but he’ll never admit it.
🌲 Slenderman I see as a father figure for everyone. He’s is like a single dad. With the help of two out of his 3 brothers (offenderman is seen as a disgrace to his family’s name and unfit to be around children, especially Sally) He lets the kids (the grown adults that most of them are) rant if they want and tries to have fun with them. He understands that almost all of them didn’t have good childhoods and he feels bad. That’s why he keeps taking them in, having them promise to work for him. Once they say yes, he takes them in and the mansion grows another room (or tombs as I like to call them) 🎮 Ben is pretty nice. Sure, he’s snarky sometimes but he’s a kid. What do you expect? Plus he stays in his room most of the time or he’s hanging out with Jeff. He sees some of the other proxies as his siblings, but he’ll never admit it. Never in a billion years. He’d rather go swimming. Slender does have to trick him into showering because of how scared of water he is. Don’t ask me how bc I dunno. Personally, I would just spray him with a hose. But I digress
🧸 Sally is the average little girl, but she gets angry easily. I’m not sure where people got the notion that she wouldn’t be an angry restless spirit but that’s their opinion and it’s valid too. I feel like she’s usually nice and kind like everyone says but if she sees offenderman or anyone she deems a threat she can and will throw one of her “fits” where she makes the house rumble and she throws things towards the threat. She’s done it because she saw a spider. 🔪 Jeff is an ass. Period. But he does see the creepypastas as some sort of family. He’ll never admit it either. He makes fun of everyone because that’s how he shows affection. The only person who recognizes that is liu, his brother, who says nothing. Slender tries his best to just leave the kid alone, if he’s behind honest he’s kinda worried about him, but he says nothing. Jeff also is really smart he just never uses his brain so no one knows that.
🐍 liu is shy and quiet. Doesn’t really like talking to many of the proxies so he just keeps to himself. He only ever talks to slenderman and masky really. Sometimes he’ll have a chat with his brother, but he and his brother don’t have a very good relationship. He’s very cuddly when he wants to be and only when he wants to be. He loves a good book. Usually true crime books or something with a good plot. He doesn’t like romance novels because it reminds him too much of who he lost. He tries to be as optimistic as possible, but sometimes it’s hard for him.
🍬 LJ is giddy and goofy, always cracking weird jokes. He has learned over time what everyone’s sense of humor is so he’ll make jokes based off of that. Have dark humor? Dark jokes. Have dad humor? He’ll crack a good dad joke. Deep down he likes making people laugh still, he just doesn’t wanna be laughed at. He’s the one who hangs out with Sally the most when slenderman isn’t around because 1. He has the same childlike wonder and 2. Slenderman thinks he’s funny enough to keep that little ball of energy occupied long enough to not run off into the woods and find some poor hiker and scare the soul outta them.
🪓 Toby is kinda a mix of quiet and a fuck. He likes being nice to some people when he wants and then he’ll be a dick to others. I have a headcanon that he has BPD so that’s why he constantly switches between being nice and acting like you murdered his cat in cold blood. Usually he’s pretty nice and knows how to control it most of the time but it gets the better of him. He is also very good friends with Ben and Jeff, being nicer to Ben and meaner to Jeff. I don’t think he’d hang out with Masky and hoodie too often, but that’s just my opinion.
🚬 Masky’s just plain “I don’t want to talk to you leave me alone.” Never has liked talking never will like it. He has exceptions for certain people like Hoodie and Slenderman. Sometimes he’ll talk to liu because he’s actually one of the more chill proxies and leaves people alone unless they want to talk to him. You could also probably find him smoking outside or sitting outside Slenderman’s office because he feels important when he’s near him. 🍁 Hoodie is the opposite of Masky. Wanna talk? He’s so down. Loves talking about everything and anything. If there’s a mission, though? He stays quiet. Doesn’t talk. He’s laser focused. it’s like he has 2 different personalities.
⚕️ nurse Ann seems like the type that likes taking care of people. She is a nurse after all. She just doesn’t like men very much, considering what happened to her. She trusts most of the proxy boys not to do anything, but if they do then she doesn’t let them near her again. She gives off lesbian vibes and I kinda headcanon that she is dating or best friends with Jane. After missions she’ll patch up the people that need it and I think she’d have her own little infirmary tucked in the corner of the mansion with everything she could possibly need.
🖤 Nina is the perfect example of an extrovert. She’s so hyped up and excited that she gives Sally a run for her money. Contrary to popular belief I think she’d be pretty good friends with Jane. They both got their heart broken by Jeff but Nina continues to try and get him to love her. She likes baking and playing games with all the proxies. Sure she’s seen as annoying but she’s really one of the only extroverted people in the manor.
🕷️ Jane is quiet and kind. She likes to help where she can. I see her as religious to some extent? Not a woman of god per say but a different religion. I feel like she would be pagan and have an altar of some sort to some kind of deity. She is usually in the library reading some sort of book or bringing a book from there to the infirmary to read to Ann.

WRECKAGE
summary: Flying in an airplane was your biggest fear, thankfully everything turned out alright! (it didn’t)
warnings: mentions of death, its all vague !
a/n : hey guyss…..im back. i wrote this in a few mins cause i felt bad about not writing anything for so long. sorry if it has mistakes, im sleepyyyy.
There was no way you agreed to this. This was a big mistake, and it was a mistake that would cost you your life. This was your end, and there was no way to avoid it because you were strapped down to the seat. The exit closed a few minutes ago and you couldn’t even move to it because someone, God curse them, had closed the doors already.
Your hands shakily gripped both of the armrests, as your eyes were closed tightly in anxiety and it was like there was no air around you because no matter how much you inhaled, your lungs didn’t receive any air. To make matters worse, the loud music erupting from your headphones— which was entirely your own fault for choosing a song that didn’t make you calmer— made your ears and head hurt, it was as if your head was being crushed like a watermelon.
You really shouldn’t have come.
The music suddenly cut off, bringing you some sense of relief. You opened your eyes slowly and were met with blurry white light. “Hey. Hey.” A voice beside you said as you felt a hand touching your own—breaking you slowly out of your own panic. “It’s okay. Breathe with me.” You followed their breathing. In and out. In and out— until things were a lot more clearer.. “Don’t worry, airplane crashes are very unlikely.”
“You…don’t know- t-that.” You stammered, taking a deep breath. You feel your body begin to grow calmer and calmer. Breathing was a lot easier, but now you could hear someone's baby crying in the background and it was making you slightly annoyed. You quietly watch as the kind passenger next to you pulls back and leaned back onto their seat with a smile.
“This is one of the safest airlines. I promise, we are safe.”
Even if you had calmed down, only by a bit, you were still scared. Airplanes were one of your biggest fears. The fear of it suddenly exploding because of some mechanical malfunction is enough to keep you awake at night. Flying in air, in general, brings a different type of dread, because you can’t fly and would not be able to stop your body from hitting the ground or concrete waters. And even with all that fear, you had— you decided to fly out to Guatemala for a friend that lived there. You’ve never been to Guatemala, nor did you ever think about visiting it— but it was definitely an opportunity you couldn’t waste. Behind all the danger that flying an airplane brings, arriving at the destination will be worth it.
The plane has been on air for quite a while now, and it seemed pretty peaceful. You glanced out the window, and saw the breathtaking view up from high above. It was absolutely breathtaking. Were clouds always this pretty? “Thank you for helping me.” You turn back to the person next to you.
“No need to thank me.” They paused, grabbing a bottle of water. “So, why are you flying out to Guatemala?”
You suddenly noticed how thirsty you felt, or how your heartbeat spiked up a bit after the small startling movement that the plane just made. There was nothing to worry about. “Oh, to visit a friend. Haven’t seen them in 5 years? Yeah. Only reason I’m even here. To be honest, they should have come visit me instead. My fear of airplanes is nooott healthy…How about you?”
“Research project, I’m a scientist! But that’s not the only reason. I also have some family down there. A brother and two sisters. Guess we are both meeting important people, huh?”
You chuckled, “Cool coince-” Just then— the plane shook, as the sound of lightning filled your ears. You yelped in worry— your heart almost leaving your chest.
Luggages sprayed onto the floor—it was practically a mess! The person that was sitting next to you spilled some water off of their bottle, some of it ended up wetting you and got into your eyes. They apologized, but the shiver rolling down your spine— and the coldness that was overtaking you was making it impossible to hear what they were saying. “P...please tell me that was normal.” Your whole body trembled, this was not happening!
“Hey don’t worry-” They gasped. “A storm cloud?”
“What?” You asked, but their gaze was on something else— the window behind you. You turn around, unbuckling the wet seatbelt. A cloud. It was moving? But that wasn’t what scared you. It was the way you could see the lighting or thunder— it seemed like it was coming your way, and at a fast rate. This was dangerous, and you hadn’t read anything about a storm before boarding— you made sure of it. You made sure of it. And maybe you were going crazy, maybe the panic was making you see things— but you swore you could see something else in that storm. Suddenly, the lights started flickering— and that baby's cries got louder. Then there were people, who started questioning what was happening.
You stopped breathing.
“Everyone stay calm. We are passing through a storm, we will receive some back—“ Static. The intercom went static.
You take a deep breath— you cannot go into panic once again. Not again— you couldn’t, this would be alright. Everything— everything would be alright. Things like this happen frequently, right? This is a natural thing that happens— an airplane passing through a storm, or well from what you can see— a storm passing through an airplane, was completely normal.
“This is not normal.”
Your heart sinks at their words— this cannot be happening! You turn to them, eyes glossy. “What makes you say that? This is totally normal.”
“Part of my field of stu-” Their expression— that face, you’ve never seen it on someone other than yourself. “What the h—”
In a matter of seconds, something had hit the airplane, hard.
Everything, everyone was flown out of their seats— the plane split in half. Luggages hit people's bodies or pushed them out of the airplane— and that person— that sat next to you, they were hit too. Their face— you couldn’t stop screaming, you couldn’t stop hearing everyone scream. Everything was swirling around, and there was no mistaking it.
You were falling.
a/n: ill cook something else up soon i swear guys. if i dont go ia again. i promise i wont. i hope.
