I just don't understand what his team was thinking when they agreed to this stunt. Exactly how does he benefit from it other then being seen as an uber straight grade-A douchebag? Is this really the image his team wants for Timmy? There's just too much talent and potential there to be shamming with a Kartrashian/Jenner.
Hello, Anon:
It’s absolutely mind-boggling what having more money than God can buy in the United States of America these days: New lips, new hips, and a sparkling new image with a shiny new man who apparently doesn’t even need to be present to win.
The KarJenner PR team has been hard at work for the last few months for a classy reboot of baby sister Kylie, complete with a romance with the internet’s boyfriend, style influencer and fashion icon Timothée Chalamet, who also happens to be the greatest actor of his generation. At face value, it certainly does seem like an unlikely match, given the imbalance of (dare I say it?) intellectual curiosity and preternatural talents between them. But anything is possible, when one has more money than one can ever spend in several lifetimes and the other has greater goals and ambitions than his power and influence will allow at this point in his career.
Both parties involved, however directly or indirectly, can find benefit in being in each other’s orbits driveways, taco restaurants, tarmac, in an image-conscious culture ravenous for juicy content just like this.
One of the pair has received a decidedly more positive boost from it.
The other, not so much, perhaps by design.
He may have extremely valid reasons for wanting to promote that particular “douchebag” image, if he really is willingly participating in what appears to be yet another PR romance. His handlers and PR team probably assume that he must do this in order to continue to level up in Hollywood as the next Leonardo DiCaprio. And they are probably right, given the current wave of puritanical bigotry in the USA and elsewhere in the world. There is far too much money riding on the success of his next three potentially blockbuster projects and too many people with a vested interest in his success for them to allow his image to be seen as anything other than “normal” in order to appeal to the mainstream sensibilities of a global audience. His own ambitions most likely make it impossible to refuse.
Can’t knock the hustle. ✨💃🕺🏻✨ And both of them are hustlers. Maybe that’s what they have in common.
If this were truly an authentic romance, we already know that all they would need to do to keep it private is to KEEP IT PRIVATE: Say nothing to the press, don’t call the paparazzi to meet you in the parking lot, don’t alert the media at all. They both have the means and resources to disappear from public view whenever they want, if they really wanted to do that. It’s not a requirement to begin a new relationship with a press release, not even for celebrities.
And yet here we are, a love story loudly announced in a tale of two cars, maybe three, long driveways but park at the bottom where everyone can see, and taco dates with paparazzi who take photos but only with his wingman.
A story which has made it abundantly clear that at least one of them wants to
MAKE SURE EVERYONE NOTICES their super-duper-uber-private budding romance 🚘🌮❣️🌮🚘
I’m not entirely convinced that he’s even an active participant in all of this, TBH. Many of the details thus far don’t add up to much of anything except a lot of black cars being shuffled around in his driveway published by the trash gossip press with sensationalist headlines and articles intended to plant the idea in the minds of those who want to believe it or need to know it’s happening.
For reasons.
And all of this accomplished without a single decent photo as concrete evidence of this alleged romance between two people famously well-versed in the art of the selfie in the golden age of Instagram.
Not even a fan photo or one “leaked” by their team. Nothing, except some extraordinarily grainy outdoor shots in someone’s backyard where the only easily identifiable person is Kylie Jenner and only because of her unusual proportions, in a town teeming with Teemo lookalikes who would happily stand in for the real thing for nothing but the chance to say they did it.
The Devil works hard but Kris Jenner works harder.
Seeing might be believing, but only if we can actually see what we’re seeing.
Thanks for your comment. 🤔🥔📸🎪🫤🤷🏻♀️

apologies if you’ve answered this before or if there’s not really a specific gathered resource, but you seem knowledgeable about such things!— i am interested in learning more about f1 racing, do you have any recommendation for where to find a beginners guide/‘f1 for dummies’/place to begin learning more?
hello!!! i am also rather new to the sport and had to consume massive amounts of content from all over the place and frankly am still learning a lot all the time, so i'm not exactly an expert. what i can share are resources i relied on in my own ✨ descent into madness ✨ though !
so, my incomplete and questionable guide to selling your soul to f1:
it's all about how you like to learn and consume media tbh. i tried to watch a race initially, was confused, regrouped and started exploring. personally i watched all of dts up to the current season and then watched the first few races that i had missed while obsessively trawling twitter to learn more and waiting for my first live race (aka australia this year — massive rip). but it's up to you how you dive in!!
drive to survive
don’t get me wrong, dts has its issues — they invent drama, have some misleading portrayals, like to splice together clips from different race weekends together. it’s definitely more of a creative project than a straight up documentary.
that being said, it also explains a lot of the lore and history behind the sport, teams, and drivers in an entertaining fashion. it’s newcomer friendly so it explains the rules. yes, will buxton gets a lot of heat for stating the obvious, but some of those obvious explanations are helpful for the clueless.
there are also a lot of very cool shots and some good exclusive interviews that they get. sure, you can probably find them clipped on youtube, but may as well just watch dts. the first season is a little slow if you’re like me and want to see charles immediately (worth noting not all teams had agreed to participate s1), but that’s just me.
(plus: it’s entertaining. i live for drama. just take said drama with a grain of salt and assume it’s probably invented or blown out of proportion.)
the tiktok girlies
again: tiktok can be a bit hit or miss. you’ll see a lot of bad takes and pure cringe if you linger too long on f1 tiktok. but i started watching content from a few f1 girlies who seems reliable and had friendly introductory content. they’re generally very nice and happy to answer questions.
after a while i stopped watching them just because i no longer needed the intro information or explanations, but they did help fill in gaps and point out some of the inaccuracies of dts.
some who helped me learn more:
@/lissiemackintosh (okay she's an f1 presenter but she's cool as shit i love her queen of the paddock etc etc)
@casxf1 (intro content is sort of her Thing)
@formula_dev (she was my go-to girlie for learning)
@f1toni
f1tv content
i am pretty sure f1tv isn’t available in all countries, but i have always watched races through f1tv. there are a lot of ways to watch races live illicitly if that’s what you prefer, and other countries have sky or other channels they can watch on (USA also has espn), but i prefer f1tv because i’m too lazy to find streams and don’t want to worry about stream issues mid race.
plus: f1tv comes with a whole archive of past seasons and a host of other media content during race weekends (ie, the fia press conferences on thursday, post-quali and post-race). they have a tech talk series that explains some of the technical aspects, do weekend warm-ups each race weekend that gives an update/context, and have been adding more intro content on the platform. there’s an app, which is convenient.
the f1tv stream also allows you to use the channel switcher to choose between your commentary options (f1tv or sky’s commentators), or to see the live timing data, or to see any of the driver onboards. it’s quick and you can switch back and forth easily. (if your computer can handle it — my mac often can’t — you can use multiviewer with your f1tv subscription to set up a bunch of different screens and panels to watch, for example, the main stream and a driver’s onboard. or multiple onboards. or whatever you want basically. personally i usually put the race on my ipad and the onboard on my phone, because that streams perfectly and multiviewer likes to kill my laptop.)
the downfall of f1tv is that they don’t have a smart tv app yet. idk why. it’s very irritating. it also might be a bit expensive to some, but i think it’s worth it.
f1 twitter (hell)
it’s a minefield out there. truly. BUT my next big question, after starting to get into watching races live and watching some old seasons and learning how it works, is how people seemed to always be in the know about paddock gossip. i wanted to know about it as it was happening and see the ~drama~ unfold live and feel like i was part of the season actually occurring.
so: twitter. follow your teams, follow your drivers, the for you tab is actually your friend here because it’ll bring new journalists and f1 commentators into your orbit as you learn who is who. some of the big driver fan pages operate as sources of information and updates with relative stealth if not immediate updating.
at this point i follow enough people (and have infected my algorithm enough) that i tend to see gossip and updates across most of the teams. big news tends to get shared by everyone anyway.
if you prefer tumblr, you can still get A Lot of updates on drama and gossip pretty quickly. there is a bit of a delay between information hitting twitter and information hitting tumblr (partially because none of the official teams or drivers have accounts on tumblr; partially because of the amount of people on f1twt versus f1blr). BUT, a lot of us tumblr girlies liveblog during the races and sessions and bring any crucial content over from twitter to share here, so the info will probably be here eventually/soonish. (following the race tags each weekend will prob give you a lot of the quick updates live.)
some great charles specific update accounts
@leclercsletters
@leclercdata
@/charlsleclerc
@cleclercfansuk
others i follow for the 🍵 (not necessarily CL fans/i follow some ppl i disagree with for the intel)
@fiadocsbot (😭) / @f1 / other official accounts press etc.
@_allthatglitz
@maranellosaint
@scuderiafemboy (actually also has tumblr)
@fm1_3316
@/lecstappens
@candeleclerc16
@/elpredestinato
@formuleo_
@pikaclerc
@leclerqz
@fottitiferrari
@/f1tami
@/htrs4piastri
@estestroll
@fanaticsferrari
there are certainly more i see on my timeline all the time !!! this is just skimming through my following on the train 😭
tbh if i started trying to list tumblrs with hot takes that i follow we might be here all day. note to self: make my following list public lmfao
introductory posts & masterlists & others
full disclosure: these are resources i went hunting for out of curiosity and never actually used myself, but they looked fun and funky so yaknow. if there are iconic masterlists that i am missing, rip, someone please feel free to add or correct me. some of these are definitely seasons of old (aka like last year) but you get the point.
f1chronicle has this guide!
f1 put out their own beginner's guide to f1 video but it's like......5 minutes (and here is their longer intro video for 2023)
this much longer intro to the rules video by school of sports looks promising
apparent f1 also has a whole category of articles in their beginner's guide series
@babssionate's ppt guide to f1 and drivers intro
@shuntedmate's (sister's) ppt beginner's guide to f1
pitwall's beginner guide to f1 ppt
@race-week's guide to getting into the technical side of f1 (and whole blog appears to be some cool info on drivers and histories etc)
here is @lestappenforever's glorious guide to charles' driving style that i re-found while trying to figure out if i have a reference list tag (i dont)
#sorry for the delay i had to Think#aka forgot this was in my notes drafts until today aflkaf#ummm#f1#guide to f1#???#i guess!#i think i have a tag for references and lore posts.....#but idk what it was and did not discover it afalfmas#*oracles

HYBE aligning themselves with (e-)sports makes a lot of sense, given how much money can be made in the sports industry, but it also needs to be tactfully done. And right now it feels like they haven't found their footing yet.
I think the main issue is that they want to align their groups with American sports teams when a) their groups are Korean and b) they don't live in the USA. Connecting a group with a sports team becomes particularly difficult if they aren't frequently seen together. That's why fashion ambassadorships are a lot easier to manage because there is a fashion calendar to follow and it never changes.
There is an inherent cultural disconnect as well. A Korean-native k-pop idol can absolutely adore American basketball, but they'll never fully be part of that culture and be able to understand the cultural framework surrounding American basketball. That's not something that can be helped. It's literally just a socio-cultural difference.
Thirdly, it's questionable how much profit will be made overtime from k-pop groups aligning themselves with American sports leagues. How many (casual) fans will either party gain from this? How many k-pop fans will start watching basketball and how many basketball watchers will start listening to k-pop?
These three points make promotional content feel disingenuous... or even a bit cringe.
I think, if labels really want to capitalise on their idols in the sports industry, then they need to get their idols to perform at soccer and/or baseball games in Korea and Japan. We occasionally see it (recently Twice performed at a soccer game and plenty of idols have thrown the first pitch at baseball), but they can make a true spectacle out of it. Make them do "tunnel walks" wearing the brands they're affiliated with, go all out with performances, make short form content between idols and athletes, etc etc.
E-sports make a lot more sense, so League of Legends x New Jeans and Overwatch x Le Sserafim was quite a smart move. (I do sometimes wonder if they chose these groups not because of their talent but because they're pretty girls and women, and men make up the majority of video game players;........ but whatever.) I think marrying k-pop and e-sports is a lot easier because there's a lot more overlap.
Anyway. Those are all my thoughts.

tag system below! any other info you need is in my description.
#existenceunrelateds - posts not directly related to the Owl House (most content lately)
#reblog - my reblogs. used in conjunction with other tags.
#re: tags or #re: prev - I'm responding to the tags from the previous reblog. Open their reblog to see what I'm responding to. Also, if a tag is prefaced by ←, that means all the previous tags are from the prev reblog, and all tags following it are mine. I may on occasion forgo the previous tags altogether, and if so, just hit previous reblog. If there are two, prev also uses this system.
#nutdealer posting - posts about or relating to undertale or deltarune, cuz my brain decided it wants to fixate on those. Dw, toh's staying, they just share room in my head, and the nutdealers are taking priority. This tag will not be used in conjunction with #existenceunrelateds, so if you only want owl house content, you can block both. I just don't want to complicate things for myself
#existence is unhealthily obsessed with queso - I rate queso for some reason. Mostly going to be chains within just Florida, or southeastern USA.
#cephaloposting - I just HAAAD to go out and learn splatoon lore and now I'm in fairly deep. tag works the same as nutdealer posting, pearlina is adorable, I'm team Callie, Order and Future, and if Frye doesn't get another win before the game stops having splatfests I'm gonna be pissed. that being said, I like bread best
#carbohydrate before you carbodiedrate - my new mutual/shenanigannery tag. don't ask. I'll almost definitely forget this a ton, so a general rule is if I'm reblogging to talk to mutuals or other people a lot within a short period of time, it'll be there. or if i'm replying repeatedly in the tags. or if spectator brings up bread again.
#negative - this one's been in effect for some time, but it was infrequent enough that I didn't think of adding it. This is not necessarily ANY negative post, more posts that could seriously affect someone reading them. Because of this, a good chunk of Palestine-related posts are tagged with it. Not all of them, though, only the emotionally devastating ones.
#personal shit - Personal shit. Usually doesn't apply to the occasional vaguepost or question, more complaining about situations happening in real life or asking for advice.
#geek figuring stuff out - I'm still pretty young. I won't tell you how young, but young enough that I don't know myself all too well. This tag may contain Gender Confusion, Romance Confusion (Or Lack Thereof), Sexuality Confusion (Or Lack Thereof (??)), Inability To Visualize Confusion (See: Aphantasia), and Medical Confusion (Dehydration, Malnourishment, and More!). Additionally, this is where most nsfw content will go, if it's not body positivity or sex ed. Or me reblogging thirst traps for my lesbian followers.
alright so I'm entrenched in undertale and deltarune, which means I also tend to get homestuck content. I have no idea what the fuck homestuck is about but I know a lot of people love it and a lot of people hate it, so I jokingly tag any posts relating to homestuck with #cw homestuck. this is a joke and not intending to belittle any homestuck fans- I'm an undertale fan, I can't judge.
speaking of, any time I'm tagging posts with warning, I'll usually do two to four variations on #cw [xyz thing here]. I use cw much more often than tw, since it feels more inclusive to any reasons one might not want certain content on their dash. make sure if you've blocked the tw version of the tag, block the cw version as well.
Regarding accessibility and related things, I try to alt any image I post that is more than like. a cat photo for just my mutuals to see. If you would like me to add an alt to any of my posts, just ask!
I also tend to mess around with unicode a lot, to make fun emoticons or ᵗⁱⁿʸ ᵗᵉˣᵗ (plaintext: tiny text). I'm guessing screenreaders don't appreciate that, so I can plaintext my posts for you if you'd like. Usually these things will be in my tags, though, so it's not too important.
Related: If you notice I've somehow typed a comma in my tags, it's not magic, it's unicode! There's a unicode character called single low-9 quotation mark (U+201A) that displays like this:
‚
It looks exactly like a comma, and it works in tags! Feel free to copy and paste at your leisure, or add it to a keyboard shortcut like I did.
also sometimes I'll use whitespace characters to fine-tune spacing in my posts, for example to make italics look better than whatever tumblr's got going on. for example:
uncorrected: I don't like this (space between don't and like is too short, between I and don't too long)
corrected: I don't like this (using varied lengths of whitespace characters, spacing is fixed)
tell me if that fucks anything up

Pinned (updated September 1, 2024)
Hi, welcome to my blog! I intend this to be a place where I can document bits of Death Note the Musical history that I'm privy to and also reblog a shitton of fanworks (y'all are so talented).
To that end, here are links to posts about DNTM history I was privy to (Please let me know if the links break, I've also tagged the posts as #find later):
London programme with image descriptions
Signings and merch at NYCC 2023
Write-up of the DNtM panel at NYCC 2023
Write-up of the album listening party at NYCC 2023
Link to a Google Drive folder of audio/video from the panel and listening party at NYCC 2023, including tracks from the upcoming cast album
My hard-hitting reporting /lh over the dubiously licensed Texas production!
Feel free to send asks/DM me if you have questions about anything I've attended.
Projects I'm working on:
Write-up of the London performances at the Lyric I attended (essentially done, I just need to clean up my notes) updating wrt the Lasagna boots
Subtitling the Lasagna boots
Re-timing the 2015 Korean subtitles to match the 2022/2023 Korean revival (PLEASE tell me if you know of anyone who has done or is working on a proper English translation of this)
I'm also working on an archive of all DNtM media. Feel free to ask me for the link and/or to send me stuff I might not have, especially anything from the Lyric part of the UK2023 run, the 2017 Taiwan show, 2020 Japanese production, the 2021 Moscow concert, the 2024 Brazil concert, or bonus content related to any production! I'm pretty sure the Brazil video I have is from the 2022 production at the same theater (the Clara Nunes) but if you know better - or have a complete audio/video - I would love to hear from you!
Currently I have:
Japan 2015x2, 2017x2 proshots
Korea 2015/2017 and 2022/2023 revival
Russia 2017 concert with Alexander Kazmin, etc
Brazil 2022 "editing practice" production
USA 2015 demo album and 2023 NYCC videos
UK 2023 Lasagna boots x2 (not included in the archive but I have instructions for where you can get them), audios from all 3 Palladium performances and one from the Lyric, youtube/tiktok clips from the Palladium
Fun stuff!
DNTM x Ready as I'll Ever Be AMV by me! :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gownszo6TKA
Adamandi, another show I talk about a lot on here - "Three queer students of color at an elite midcentury college go to horrific lengths to earn a coveted graduation prize." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OAYXkOJ42zs
The Art of Pleasing Princes, a staged reading from the Adamandi creative team (Melliot) - "Murder! Magic! Mischief! Marriage? An LGBTQ+ fantasy musical about revenge, falling in love, and everything that comes in between." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgc4wdkH0cU&t=0s
Ghost Story, a concert version of Melliot's newest work - "Two love stories between Chinese American and Polish American men haunt the same Montana ranch house — one century apart. As past and present intertwine, the lovers confront long-held fears in their quest to determine if they love one another for the right reasons." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L4o-vKr36aE

have you heard from NICOLAS PRADO yet? back home they’re said to work as a REAL ESTATE COPYWRITER. before this trip to blackwood pines, i’ve heard that they’re known to be ACTIVE, JOCULAR, AND ADAPTABLE. but on the downside, they’re known to be BRASH, COMPETITIVE AND BLUNT. when you think about them, you’ll probably see JERSEY NUMBERS WORN LIKE MILITARY MEDALS, BURST BOXING BAGS, CRUSHED SODA CANS, TARNISHED TROPHIES, AND KNUCKLES BRUISED TO THE HUE OF BUSINESS SUITS. and because of that, i would say that they’re known to be THE JOCK.
STATS.
full name. nicolas meza prado.
nicknames. nick is, in fact, his preferred name. nods at variations thereof with the notable exception of nicky.
date of birth. 13 october.
place of birth. odessa, texas, usa.
current residence. detroit, michigan, usa.
languages. fluent in english and spanish.
education. has an mba from michigan state. paid for by a sports scholarship, of course.
occupation. real estate copywriter.
gender. cisgender male. he/him.
orientation. bisexual.
marital status. dating, more often than not.
family. a father, a mother, and two siblings sandwiching him into a suffocating space stuffed with birth order stereotypes.
PERSONALITY.
the brief. in one word, nick is winning. not a moment in his life has been spent without incredible drive, nor with any consideration as to local speed limits. he holds his head high and, in the process, can lose track of the bigger picture as easily as he can paint a new landscape of goals with loaded words and laborious action. whether this is concerning or endearing depends on a lot of factors, but he’s not dead yet, so he can’t be too insufferable. or maybe the team just needs some muscle. that’s probably it.
the good. nick wants to help people. although he’s a primary proponent of self-love, he leads by example and is eager to learn whatever he can from whoever he can – the dumb jock stereotype didn’t pop up without any strict basis in reality, after all – and he’d sooner exile himself to an athlete’s foot locker than force someone to take a risk he wouldn’t seize first.
the bad. nick wants to help people with the absolute outlier of himself. he builds his plans around others, if he has any plans at all, yet has shoved his expectations for everyone above the stratosphere to the point where he feels personally degraded should anyone reject his get-pushed-in-the-pool-to-learn-how-to-swim teaching techniques. he does not deal well with having his opinions ignored in any capacity and nurses grudges as well as anyone with a doctorate in self-centredness would.
the ugly. nick needs to be needed. being disliked macerates his mind into this mush of desperate people-pleasing, even if he knows the only path to justice is the one paved with potholes. if a friend asked him to jump off a cliff, he’d only ask if they wanted to film him doing a flip on the way down.
APPEARANCE.
height. 5’9. good posture and a gleaming smile had most intramural coaches thinking otherwise.
build. athletic, with a mean leanness that puts both his obsessive gym-going in adolescence and overwhelmingly green diet in adulthood on full blast. you know, as if he’s not enthusiastic enough about divulging all the sordid, sweaty
style. comfort over couture. everything in his closet but his collection of immaculate basketball sneakers is best described as devil-may-care. colours stay neutral and t-shirt graphics stay slightly crude. sleeves must be rolled up regardless of weather and whether he’s even wearing something with long sleeves.
notable features. jet black hair styled with water and confidence. the uncertain beginnings of a bristly moustache. a tattoo of the number one in a compact collegiate font on his right shoulder blade.
BIOGRAPHY. content warnings for brief mentions of hazing and injury.
tl;dr. annoyingly smirky middle child stomps his way into acquiring eldest child syndrome + a humiliating defeat to cap off his last collegiate basketball season, and proceeds to do everything in his power to not become the guy who peaked in school. which actually amounts to just throwing himself into work with little regard for sleep schedule or personal relationships, but a quick winter getaway could help him unwind a little, right? right.
first quarter. nick’s a good kid, but good isn’t always good enough. his parents drill that lesson into his skull as soon as he’s out the hospital and in the prado household’s singular bedroom. they do it unintentionally, which is how they do a lot of things, but however much he wants to play hercules by hurling his weight around the run-down playground, every time he slices one head off the hydra of approval by joining this club or scoring that letter, another two pop up in its place, born of his brothers’ very existence. the one who came before him is their meal ticket making his way through med school, the one who came after him is already on track to become an accountant, and he’s… good at throwing things in hoops. things being homework, hoops being over trash bins. but he’s always been a good-natured kid, so when he secures a spot on the jv basketball team after trying out as a total joke, he soaks up the sugared electrolytes, the electric sound of applause, and the endless opportunities to sink his energy into something until the end of time. or until 6pm. you know, whenever practice ends.
second quarter. nick’s a good guy. his parents call him the fun one, which might not be a compliment, but warping any and all descriptors into compliments is how nick’s become something of a casanova and kept his name relatively clear of any scandals. that is, until he semi-consciously continues a secret hazing ritual that results in the severe incapacitation of his fraternity brothers and a wicked hangover that, gasp, results in him ruining the next week’s championship game. then he blows his birthday money on veneers of all kinds to coast through police interviews and changes his course from sports officiating to business administration. then he realises that being impressive is way more important to the status of being good than making a squeaky-clean good impression.
third quarter. nick’s living the good life. sure, he’s got little to no time for recreation, but he’s strongarmed his way up the corporate ladder and isn’t coming down at any cost. also, he can still toss his assignments in the trash can. he’s got a photocopier now. his friends tell him there’s no place better than blackwood pines, and if only to prove them wrong (and maybe prevent himself from getting hypertension at thirty) nick brings himself and a basketball along for the ride to the rockies.
fourth quarter. nick’s story may or may not have a good ending. aka this is the part where i’ll put summaries of all super important life-changing in-character events so i don’t lose track of them <3
MISCELLANEOUS.
radio. beastie boys. no doubt. oasis. rage against the machine. red hot chili peppers.
potential relationships.
childhood friends. people who witnessed his evolution from tryhard to hard-ass and has, by some miracle, decided to stick around. nick’s definitely drafted up at least one microsoft word nda regarding his tragic past and its secrecy for these folks. whether or not they unblocked him long enough to read the final document is trivial.
college classmates. nick may or may not be the reason the general public does not desire a 5’9 brown-eyed man in finance. while not as egoistic as he was in his younger years, his enthusiasm for extra credit was well recorded.

Hi! Do you think that either of them still want/need support from us as they seemed to do in the band? They both seem to protect their private lives way more now. And I guess that’s part of maturing and changing how you see the world and how it sees you. I mean, other than Louis shouting “him” in his concerts, he’s much more subdued now. That pair of blue/green trackies at the start of his USA leg was not a choice I’d have made, given the way a lot of his fans see that combination- unless he was making a subtle (hahahaha, that wasn’t subtle) nod to us. And H maybe (but the pics were grainy- although I’d like to think it was) wore a blue bandanna on one of his many, many walks round London last year.
I truly hope that they are happy together however that looks to them. I know, as you said in another ask, their relationship is unique, and I get that. I’ve been with my partner for 20 years, but due to his job we weren’t on the same continent for over half of last year. And that wasn’t unusual for us. Anyway, I’m rambling, just wanted to know your thoughts on our place in the fandom. Thanks!
Hey lovely, thanks for reaching out! And welcome to the show.
Louis and Harry both do live very different lives with very different careers these days. We aren’t seeing them interact at all, and it can be frustrating to still believe in it but barely see any of it as a comparison of the 1d days. And yes, they certainly did need our support more back then, because they weren’t used to the closeting. They were young, didn’t understand why their love could be seen as so wrong, and we’re struggling under the pressure from their team, including constant tours and albums etc., ya know? So I think they relied on our support so heavily to get them through, particularly with RBB and the Big Gay War.
But coming out, no matter who you are, but particularly if you’re coming out to millions of people and you can face severe backlash, is super terrifying. Their careers will be affected, their privacy gone, and trying to navigate that while touring and stunting and dealing with contracts from even the 1d days still hanging over their heads, would just be so tricky. It’s a huge plan and timeline they will need to work through, as to not crash and burn and fuck over people who quite literally hold their careers in their hands. Unless they get sick of it and just break one day and don’t care who will sue them and what will happen, then it’s gonna be a long process.
But throughout this long process, they’re gonna need us. They’ve needed us from the very start, and still to this day they see what we say and our support online and I’m sure they love that we’re still fighting for them, even though they haven’t been on the same bloody continent for god knows how long. They still see us loving them for who they truly are, and not lapping up their public personas like the rest of the GP. It would certainly feel very validating.
When they come out, boy they’re gonna need us. Shit is gonna hit the fan. The fans are gonna fight like crazy and it’s gonna be absolute chaos, which is probably another thing they understand could be very bad for their careers right now. But we’ll be supporting them and we’ll be here til the very end.
A lot of larries have left since the hiatus, because they felt they didn’t need to bother supporting Larry anymore because there wasn’t any content between them to support. They entirely blanked each other (except for a few mentions in interviews) and so people gave up. Felt like they were wasting their time on “guys who didn’t want to come out” and all that. So it’s pretty heartbreaking, but it can be very hard to stick around and show support for something which you aren’t actually seeing. It’s really sad, and I hope those true larries will support them throughout their coming out.
And wow, that must’ve been tricky being so far away from your partner for so long, but being with someone for 20 years definitely shows your love, understanding, patience, and acceptance of each other, which is truly beautiful. And it does seem similarly to Harry and louis now that they’ve been together for over a decade. They’re doing their thing now, whatever that looks like to them, and it’s kind of become pretty normal, but they’re making it work. They see us, and we see them.
In short, I think they still definitely want us, but the way they need us has probably shifted slightly. Not more or less, but they now need our support for them in different ways now that they’re solos and we aren’t seeing their love every day anymore. They’re probably shocked we’re all still here tbh hahahaha. The patience larries have is undeniable.

MC: Josh Edition Update #4
Hello, everyone! I am here with another update for you. I know there has been a lot of activity on my end with different platforms and content. For those of you that may be curious on what this means for the project, I’ve got some updates for you.
Are you a streamer? A youtuber? A comic artist? My first priority is to be a comic artist for you all. Streaming and making youtube videos, shorts, tiktoks, are all a side project so you can be a part of the process while waiting for the comic pages. It also allows me some down time between working on Josh Edition to spend time with you and learn each other.
What is your stream schedule and what do you intend to show? As of this post, I have decided to try and aim for this kind of Twitch stream schedule in USA Central Time Zone: 1) Sundays - 8PM CST - Art content stream: This is for concept work, viewers suggestions, and comic pages. 2) Mondays - 8PM CST - Minecraft Game Stream: This is for playing casually with hardcore worlds, mods, SMPs, and spending time with each other. I may also discuss Josh Edition lore or give hints and clues to what to expect with the project! 3) Saturdays - 8PM CST YOUTUBE VIDEO drop (experimental): This is a new one, but I am working with an editor to try and get videos made to drop on Youtube the following Saturday after a Monday game stream so that for those of you that aren’t truly interested in the gameplay or miss it can have an abridged version for fun to enjoy in your feed.
When is the comic going to be released? That is a solid question and I wish I had a date for you all, but you have to keep in mind that I am holding down a job that takes priority over this content creation since this is done as a passionate hobby. That out of the way, I can say it will be very soon as I just need to finish up a few more reference sheets, concept art and already have opening scripts written and ready to become comics. I do apologise that it’s been so slow. Believe you, me, I want them coming out now!
You have mentioned a Discord server before. Will that ever be made public? I do have an official Minecraft: Josh Edition Discord server but it is not yet ready for public release. I am still unsure if I will make it public since I am so new to all this and still gathering a team to help me out. If and/or when it is ready, I will let you know!
Is there anything I can do support you as a content creator? Yes! You can spread the word by giving likes, reblogs, comments, favourites, coming to streams and/or chatting to make yourself known, and just being patient with me. All of those things will help me out dearly!
Thank you so much for sticking around and I hope to see you all again soon! - offl7ne

that is so creepy and weird of that anon! not to mention disrespectful! to you and to anyone they supposedly know irl. so sorry you’re experiencing that 😞
thanks, anon. i've been thinking about this incident in the context of the end-of-the-year post i've been writing with some reflection about why hockey prospects have been such a good fandom niche for me, and in order to keep that post positive i'm gonna use this one to reflect a bit about one of the only negative or challenging aspects of focusing on that niche.
my initial reaction to that ask was that the anon was someone who's young and hasn't had an adequate opportunity to pick up on fandom norms, and that they sort of thought it would be funny or cool to share my blog in that way. in hindsight i can see that the wording could also be interpreted as intentionally threatening or malicious, but i think i want to continue to give that person the benefit of the doubt. the reason i want to do that is that so much of prospect fandom is young, and that means that doing rpf in this space means i have to navigate how to share it with people who are fans of these players in very different ways than i am.
in the tags for most of the umich and team usa boys i'm interested in, a lot of material is generated by people who view hockey players as individuals that they want to, or could, have a romantic or sexual relationship with. they're very much fans of the flesh and blood Real People, and i think maybe they don't see a line between their ideas about these people and the individuals themselves, because their ideas are about someone who they could -- if only the right meet-cute happened -- know for real.
whereas i am a fan not so much of any real human boys, but of a bunch of imaginary things my pals and i have made up using said boys' instagram posts and postgame interviews as a jumping off point. once you leave that jumping off point, none of the shit i make up is connected in any way to Real People. i absolutely do not ever want to encounter a flesh and blood hockey player anywhere other than a rink, and on the rare occasions when that's happened by accident i have tucked my head down and extricated myself from the situation as quickly as possible.
i think maybe for someone who doesn't have their own thoughts about hockey players separated in that way, it's not necessarily intuitive to recognize that there's a difference between their version of fandom and transformative fandom. that means that i get my share of tiresome anons, but it also means that those (presumably young) fans may not have ever been part of a transformative fandom and don't understand that sharing transformative material with the real people it's sourced from is hugely different than sharing other kinds of fan content with them.
i have mostly navigated the prevalence of this other type of fan with kind of a live and let live mentality. they can fan their way, i'll fan mine. i can ignore all the self-insert fic in the tag, and import content into the ecosystem on my own when their thirsty captions are not to my taste. they can ignore all my gay shit and block me if they don't want to see shipping. but this incident has made me wonder if i ought to be more deliberate about explaining and reinforcing the fourth wall. if people don't understand that fandom norm, do i have an obligation to educate? do i need to start putting those disclaimers on fic? ugh, idk.

So, check out the Affiliate Agency In USA benefits that we are describing in this AXAD blog. Why are US companies more interested in affiliate network campaigns and what are the benefits of using affiliate marketers in your business?
Find out Why companies are spending so much on affiliate marketing campaigns:
Minimum expenditure for start-ups
If you are a startup, it is not necessary to start with a bang and spend a lot of amount on it. It is the best thing about affiliate marketing that you can start at a low cost. It is not required to have an advertising team for your affiliate network program. You can work with an affiliate marketing agency marketing content for your campaign.
Once a company is comfortable with an affiliate network work and has to build a good professional relationship then they can let them get on with marketing your service or product.
Minimize your ongoing costs
As most of your marketing activities are attended by affiliates then they will manage the cost attached to it. Since it is a commission-based program, you need to pay affiliates for sales they bring in. So you do not need to spend very much here.
Affiliate marketing is a kind of model that's the cost you can manage easily and does not interrupt your cash flow. Your agency ensures that you only part ways with your money when sales are made.
Always on low risk

Get high ROI
When you are connected with an affiliate network, you will have a much higher return on investment than any other marketing strategy. It is a proven fact.
The fact that affiliates within your target audience's spheres of influence will inform them of your product or service is one of the main reasons for this. [ad_1] I am not a political analyst, nor is my understanding of American politics anything to write home about. But what stood out for me from Donald Trump’s successful presidential campaign, and what made me write this, was how he used the alternate, new-age media for his winning election march. Without getting into the rights and wrongs of it, the truth is that the traditional, mainstream media was largely opposed to Trump. Having realised that early on, he tapped into the digital media domain, and the new-age platforms that are all parallel establishments and fast gaining ground. That he reached out to them was evidence of the changing media landscape, and that’s what brings me to RevSportz. In India, the mainstream sports media is shrinking. Leading media houses are cutting down on sports budgets and the profession of sports journalism is in crisis. There are no sports bulletins on news television anymore, and it is all politics, for better or worse. One of the reasons is that the leading news anchors, who hold important editorial positions, hardly understand sport. They turn sports journalists when a Neeraj Chopra wins an Olympic medal or when India win a World Cup. Otherwise, the presence of sport on all these television channels is rather marginal. For More Sports Related Content Click Here Print isn’t any better either. Leading newspapers no longer send journalists to cover tours, and that is clearly a sign of the times. Again, without offering judgement, the truth is that political visits are still covered. You will often see a journalist accompanying the Prime Minister to the USA or elsewhere. But when it comes to an India-Australia cricket tour, budgets become an issue. That’s where Trump becomes relevant. I don’t think the conventional media is pre-eminent any more. News is now consumed real time on multiple alternate platforms. You don’t need to be on television to be known. Nor do you have to be written about in the mainstream press to attract attention. The feedback to the stories we have been doing is evidence that the future is digital, and the future is new age. With technological advances, things have changed and will only alter further going forward. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to suggest that a number of Indians experienced the Paris Paralympics through us. Of the seven Indian journalists in France’s capital, five were from RevSportz. And that’s what empowers us to do better. Disrupt more. If an American Presidential election can be won or lost by going to the new media, there is no reason why Indian sports coverage can’t be transformed similarly in future. As we turn three less than a month from now, the truth is there is a lot that can and needs to be done. We have grown exponentially, and will continue to do so. The feedback, critical and positive, will help us get better, and will help define consumption patterns in a media-agnostic age. May be that’s why we feel confident enough to send a seven-member team to Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. On-ground, cutting-edge news coverage will surely have takers. Times are changing, and that will be the only constant going forward. Also Read: Sanjay Manjrekar and the urge of being different.
