What I've noticed with the solar x nebula hate is that they point out she's an astral and it doesn't make sense why she would date solar...but then go around and ship lunar x Gemini...Buddy your not liking a ship for the same reason you ship something-

Like yes nebula is a messenger astral

Gemini was an astral training lunar.

Nebula is allowed to date someone too-

From what we know the astral are free to date someone from earth without consequences...So nebula wouldn't get in trouble for dating solar...Its some of the lore we know about the astral with everything else too.

Solar and Nebula are actually so cute with each other 😭 Will I say I am on board with this ship? Idk 🤷‍♂️ I thought they would just be best friends, but ay I ain't complaining. Just gives us more Nebula content 😙

The two most overworked characters are now dating (?). Maybe they'll just chill with each other, and their shared love language is acts of service and quality time :]

And we gained more knowledge about Astrals and emotions! The higher they are in the Astral hierarchy, the less they know about and express emotions (WORLD BUILDING 🤭). Which would explain why Nebula is more prone to emotions because she is a messenger of the Astrals, making her lesser in the hierarchy (I feel mean saying that about her 😭)

When it comes to TSAMS ships there’s afew I stick by and others that get so muddled. For example:

I’ve always liked Solar x Ruin. Unfortunately it got very- uhh you know what happened.

I like Lunar x Gemini but it’s been proven that astrals can’t feel emotions like him. So they can’t love him how he wants. WHICH SUCKS. But damn is it cool story telling.

I like Solar x Nebula, but I’ve always liked the idea that Nebula has a little crush on Earth and might be a closeted lesbian

I think Taurus x Sun is a very funny ship. Cuz like if we look from canon, they are so indifferent with each other.

Like they do not even hate each other, nor have some passion hate-boner like back then with Moon and Eclipse (platonic, guys) but whenever they interact, it just...

"I think your existence and your magic plus teaching Nexus star power are annoying and I don't care about you and your feelings and I would gladly get rid of you if I have a chance because you are boring." Taurus Vs "I don't like the fact you threaten to kill us the first time you show up and bring tons of star lore craps on us later. Also, you are a piece of dust who I don't think will ever be useful at all on anyone like, all the crap you promised to fix keeps happening, again and again. If your ass gets kicked in one day, I will not be surprised and will laugh on your face if not because I'm too nice to do that." Sun.

Like, there is clearly some tension between them. They are like two colleagues who have nothing in common but have to share the same friend. They like Lunar and Nexus but at least Nexus tries to be brother with Lunar at some point before he snapped.

It's funny because Taurus has put up with Monty enough to lend him borrow the bullet, he has talked with Earth even though earth attacked him, he even forgiven and showed some respect to Lunar, who has betrayed them and studied with Rez at some point. He even comforted Moon, the one who made the star.

But Sun, he only used the star power one time and used it to teach Nexus to protect themselves. Taurus scolded him and rarely interacted with him. He even threatened Sun.

Like, not even Eclipse who kinda break the universe to bring Solar back have some kind of this treatment.

Taurus: I like all my below equally, except Sun. I don't care about him.

And the same goes with the Sun.

Like, Sun never said that out loud, but he also doesn't like Taurus. It is in his mannerisms, when he speaks Taurus name or when he interacts with him.

Sun: Ah yes, we had Gemini, Nebula and... Eh (*disappointed voice*) Taurus here.

Like, Sun just wants Taurus to leave, and whenever he mentioned that man, it gives me the feeling of a wife who doesn't want rambles about her useless good for nothing husband. Like he thinks Taurus is so powerful but everything he did was nothing merely enough to help them stop Rez from coming from their house, not enough to stop Nexus, not enough to help Jack or stopping Jack from coming to their house and insulting Dazzle...

They had shared nothing in common except the fact they are both wild cards, they both have people put them on pedestal (with Taurus and how he is so strong and if he is no longer strong, he will be useless; with Sun and how he is kind and if he no longer kind, he just another Eclipse, another Dark Sun) and they both alone.

They are loners. Taurus always works alone, and Sun always stays alone (even with Dazzle). Loneliness is their comfort, not their prison, and they grow prettily with that (looking at Dark Sun and how isolation works on him, he lives in a paradise)

Their power, invincible and chaotic, with great destruction tagging along. Taurus literally destroyed thousands of planets, and Sun's magic is strong enough to resist negative star power from Nexus, enough to steal Moon magic's pool and nuke it. And the ability to find and touch an anti -star without any damage?

And the way they speak towards their enemy, all shows they sympathise yet no mercy towards them. ( Though Taurus pretty much enjoys beating the crap out of them but when it comes to killing, both him and Sun know it is an inevitable decision)

I love when they are cutie pie with each other, but it is so fun to invest in a relationship that they both don't want to interact with each other yet have to do that so for the fact of people they care about.
