Happy 10th anniversary to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 1!!!

This series and these characters mean the world to me, and I can't believe that through all the insanity of the last decade, they managed to get 3 amazing films, 3 crossover appearances, and 1 holiday special!

I'm also happy that the critical and commercial success of this series had a butterfly effect of getting James Gunn his current spot of head of DC! Hopefully the next 10 years of DC movies and shows will bring us even more amazing stories and characters!

For the Writer's Round Table! With my newest WIP, a wyrm ruby au (think prince lindworm kind of wyrm), i've decided to be ambitious and have outlined each chapter to be pretty long, with a short, usually single-scene interlude between each chapter. do you have any projects you've worked on that have had specifically long chapters like this, or are you the kind of person who doesn't plan chapters out too much? That's awesome that you're trying a new approach for your WIP! The one scene interlude is a really interesting format I've never really experimented with, that's a really cool idea! I'd love to hear how your progress goes!

For me personally I don't worry too much about the length of chapters when I outline them. I focus on what character interactions take place, scene break downs, and ending in the best place narratively speaking. I do have a concrete idea of what every chapter will look like before I even start drafting, but often times those ideas change drastically in the first draft.

For you and any other member of the community that would like to weigh in, I am curious how much detail you add to your outlines, if you use one at all? How do you start to get your ideas on the page for a large, long term, really involved project?

Probably corny, but I enjoy these two characters so much that I have to say it.

With Casper most certainly finding friendship in Papyrus, I wonder how’d he be around Sans? A for sure thing would be he likes the coolness he has. Or maybe it’s called laziness, doesn’t really matter much cause the spirit would find some real peace with this skeleton. His uncles drive him crazy with their dangerous loud antics, but with someone that is the opposite, no matter how small it may be? It’s just nice.

And he lets the boy talk for as long as he wants! And listens!! Though he likes messing with Casper too. Don���t you worry, it’s all in a nice way to keep the spirit on their toes. Oh, wait. Ghosts don’t have those. Eh, you get the idea.

The real reason for saying all this is because I thought about Sans sharing his own interests. It’s not much, but he talks about the stars to the kid and to get him to ramble on is, well, it’s a nice change of pace. Especially since the child is looking to him with the fullest attention and interest.

Sometimes when I’m taking my meds I’ll randomly start this routine where I shakily shove the pills in my mouth and raise my glass to my lips with trembling hands and pretend I’m in a zombie movie taking the cure that will stop me from turning and I got the antidote in time but just barely. As a treat.

theoretically speaking. how would we feel about. a bugborg enamel pin mayhaps 👀 because i may or may not be insane enough to try and get this made. to be fully transparent this is 100% selfishly motivated bc i want a bugborg pin for my pinboard even if i have to make it myself but like. u know. if it gets made i'm thinking probs gold plated and maaaaybe glitter enamel for the bg?? and some little screenprinted details here and there hmmmm

to be fully transparent in a different direction i do already have a shop and have already had some pins made so i'm pretty confident in my ability to get this one made too i kinda just wanna put some feelers out and see if anyone would be interested in a bugborg pin 👀

Why do some of your oc's have male disguises? (Not trying to be mean, sorry if my question already has been answered😅)

When I had a backstory of my AU Nonsurat which I added she/her (not cannon) I wasn’t sure how I would put into a story on that til my mind where she was join into Fighting Group when I heard about girls disguises as male I wasn’t quite sure and wasn’t interested til my mind anyways according to my OC Nebula backstory when she was done rehearsing her show at the old theater during the play and her being a dancer til she heard the alert of NME coming and where he takes female puffballs because he saw them as weak that girls can’t do anything like male puffballs that wanted to be treated fairly not special treatment.

Nebula parents I would say they were firm, worried about their kids being in danger, supportive and loving but unfortunately nebula didn’t find her parents and I’m not saying they’re dead but absent ever since the chaos happen. :0

even though GSA let female puffballs and any species to be in GSA but there are some criticism some parents that won’t support female puffballs. Some of them their old roots like my AU Nonsurat as they have the old roots of "boys are strong and girls are weak" that kind of thing :0

For Nebula when she felt being defeated by NME and monster attack her she thought she was worthless and not good enough to be strong warrior but then she has to disguise herself as a male to save everyone and honor her little sister Starla who died from NME plus had to give up her dreams.

When she works on the disguise none of the monsters and NME can tell they are secretly female in disguise if they were exposed to be female then NME would capture and corrupt them like how Knuckle Joe Father aka Jecra were. But the fighting group can show their hair if they want but being careful with disguise coming off.

And so Nebula would have filers to join fighting group and no she is not against GSA nor Arthur. Let’s say that couple of female puffballs are in GSA and no one can tell by it gender and their voice changer being male whether it’s deep, low, husky, high pitch boy, and masculine appearance. Nebula would support anyone and no matter what age if they were kids, teenagers, young adult, adults, and elder .

Fighting group has to be better safe then sorry to save themselves from NME. Nebula is the leader of the group and has the right handed warrior whose name Sir Solar aka Solaria who helps her as a general of course they treated each other like family. They use their initials as Sir or they changed their name but not pressure by Nebula though she respect their boundaries and ways.

In the future of my comic it will be shown how they got corrupt and how it started without any bad but keep it as friendly and how would the stories goes.

(It’s ok no worries you’re all good and that’s a good question to ask. When I was little I learn it from OG Powerpuff girls, books, KND, and Mulan mostly Mulan where she talks about reflection and how female warrior wanted to be strong like men’s) if you have anymore I’m free to ask :) and correct me if I make sense with words also Thank you Anon ^^

realizing i've made an artwork where nebulas uses a contraction despite him explicitly Not Using Those but it's okay because im thinking that maybe he speaks to his vessel in their head with whatever language he wants but around Other Humans his speech changes and become far more clear and sophisticated (a mix of habit and the feeling of superiority)
