All these wildflowers where within two to five steps of each other, in grasses that where waist hight for me (I’m 6’3”)
I’ve never been to northern Nabraska, I’ve only been to the middle and south eastern parts all my life, so just driving through and taking a turn off on a dirt road to look at the hills of grass already made me fall in love with this place.
I would have killed to see when the whole state was like this, and covered with the roaming bison and migratory birds.
