"I can't do this anymore" You furrowed your eyebrows, confused and have zero idea what is he talking about. "What do you mean, Jeno?" You say, "This- this..." he hesitated to say "I can't with you anymore" those words really came out from his mouth and your eyes directly looked at his eyes too, shocked. "You joking, right?" You trembled. He let out a big sigh, "No, I'm not. You can leave if you want, I'll tell the boys that you're not feeling well"

Tell me if I did something wrong at least I could improve myself" You sounds desperate, you literally can't believe the boy that you really loved so much did this to you. I just don't deserve you" Your eyes already feels like a crack glass and just wait for someone to punch the glass to break it "I never felt that way, you always been enough for me-" "Come on dumbass! The movie about to start!" Haechan shouted from the door. "Coming" Jeno shouted, "Go home, Y/N. I'm so sor-" before he could end his sentence, you say something that never crossed on your minds "I hate you, Lee Jeno" then you ran, leaving him behind.

You ran as fast as you can, the storms sounds is loud but you couldn't hear it anymore. Tears falling like there is no tomorrow. You stopped and kneel down on the ground. Raindrops start to falling down and it's getting heavy just like your tears, the cold make it hard for you to walk and breath. The thought of him leaving you never crossed in your minds especially when you don't know what is the reason behind of it. Everything is over now for you and Jeno.

his actions made you chuckle and wonder what does your boyfriend want for putting up a show like this. You smiled and responded ‘Promise’

   Chenle watched as you brushed your teeth through the mirror. You wore a smile that was concealed with the blue foaming of the toothpaste, but nevertheless, you still looked breathtaking. Chenle didn’t notice, but he stopped brushing his teeth and watched you, his eyes wide with love. Noticing the lack of movement from your usually hyper best friend, you gave him a side-glance before spitting out the bubbles and rinsing your mouth with water. You looked up, raising a brow and smiling wider than before, “What’re you looking at, Lele?” 

   Words couldn’t describe the way his heart swelled at the sight of your grin; it’s why he fell in love with you, after all.

you then panicked, “wait a minute, are you sick?”

“you’re stupid, a complete and utter idiot,” you deadpanned.

“interestingly enough, I do,” you sighed, combing your fingers through your hair.

he repeated those words until it slowly faded into silence. that silence, however, was soon replaced with his snores.

you cuddle close into jeno, sinking further into the pillows and blankets that surround the two of you. you can hear jeno’s heartbeat soothingly in your ear as you’re pressed closely into his chest, cheek smushed against the cotton material of his t shirt. 

you sigh contently, feeling yourself grow sleepier in his hold. you let your eyes flutter shut for a moment before jeno’s soft and gentle voice draws your eyes open. his hand finds yours easily as he asks quietly, “you ever think about the future?” 

“hm?” you look up at him, slightly confused at what he means. jeno clarifies, “like us, and what we’ll do, you know?”

 “yeah,” you say into the warmth of his broad chest, “yeah, I do.” 

“can we get a cat?” jeno asks suddenly in a small voice. he looks down curiously, watching your reaction; the question seems very important to him. “sure,” you laugh, toying with his fingers, “we could even get two,” you say, grinning at his soft and hopeful expression. 

“really?” he immediately smiles, eyes creasing into small crescents of pure content happiness. “of course,” you say honestly, “as long as I’m with you, it doesn’t matter.”

jeno hugs you tighter, bringing your body somewhat on top of his. his eyes meet yours easily, large palm finding your waist. “that’s exactly what I think,” jeno says, looking at you seriously and maintaining eye contact, “I mean it.”

as soon as you get back from your doctors appointment, jaehyun’s hands are already toying with the sealed envelope they gave you-containing a small slip with neat writing scrawled across the top revealing the gender of your baby. you had agreed beforehand on waiting and had only gotten the envelope because johnny had rambled excitedly about throwing a party for the two of you.

“I thought the reason we got the envelope was because we wanted it to be a surprise, jae.” you point out, watching jaehyun stop his movements- looking up at you with wide eyes. you stare at the stark white envelope that seemed to hold your entire future and you quickly understand jahyun’s eagerness. “well,” he looks at you curiously, “I really want to know now, it’s killing me. it’s like my everything is in this little envelope.”

your heart swells at jaehyun’s words and consider opening it now. it wouldn’t hurt to know. in fact, it would be quite nice.

“we lasted,” you look at your phone and laugh, “37 minutes.” 

jaehyun laughs quietly and looks at you, drawing out his “please.” you would be lying if you said you didn’t want to know as well.

“ok,” you give in easily, watching his face light up. “you open it,” you motion towards the envelope that’s already safely back in his hands.

jaehyun wastes no time in quickly tearing the seal and pulling the paper out, unfolding it gently and holding it with care. his eyes roam the paper taking in the simple word written. his face breaks into a wide smile as he brings the paper close to his chest and laughs loudly, looking up at you with bright eyes. “come here,” he mumbles, pulling you close to him.

“well?” you laugh with him, anticipating, “what does it say?” you ask, leaning over and trying to eye the paper.

“a girl,” he whispers as your lips break into a smile to match his as your future becomes the tiniest bit clearer and your mind races of images of the upcoming years and memories. jaehyun’s lips suddenly meet yours and pull your from your thoughts and his arms pull you into his embrace, hugging you tightly. he pulls away from the sweet kiss, resting his chin on your shoulder.

“we’re going to have a little girl,” he says into the material of your shirt. “yeah,” you sigh airily, happily stunned by the news, playing with the hair on the nape of his neck.

“thank you,” he whispers, hand coming to softly grip your waist, fingers traveling across your stomach. his eyes are shut fondly and his eyelashes graze against his skin, “thank you for making me so incredibly happy.”
