So I was thinking about something which kind of bothers me, at least in terms of what it says about intersectionality in romance.
One of my favorite genres to read is gay sports romances. I like guys who are in a position where it may be difficult for them to come out falling in love and deciding they have the opportunity to be their authentic selves and set a good example for their fans. Plus, I like sports. I don’t get to be into sports as much as I used to when I was younger, but I like hockey and baseball and basketball and soccer and add in some romance and I’m hooked.
Now, my Kindle is packed with gay hockey romances, because the first thing that you learn when you go to look for gay sports romances is that a large percentage of them are hockey. Just given what I have been able to find in my own experience, and given the fact that I am open to reading about any sort of sport regardless of if I’m a fan or not, hockey, ice skating, diving, and baseball seem to be the most used sports in gay romances. Football is farther down on the list, and soccer is here or there. And basketball? It’s practically fucking nonexistent. I think I found one. Which is still on my to-read list.
Part of why I like sports romances is because if they are queer, they must work around the bias inherent in existing structures. While there are plenty of people who either participate in sports or watch sports who are homophobic or transphobic, there are just as many sports fans who are accepting and want to see athletes be able to just be gay or bisexual or whatever their orientation might be.
The thing is, if you look at that list of sports that I mentioned above, you might notice the fact that the sports which are most used are heavily white. Compare that to the fact that basketball romances are so hard to find, for a sport where seven out of 10 players are Black. Now you have to contain not only with the homophobia built into sports, but also debates about acceptance of the queer community among Black people. Which, as far as I’m concerned, may best to be handled by Black authors and particularly queer Black authors. Not to say that a white author couldn’t write a good story about two black basketball phenoms falling in love, just that I would trust someone who is part of that community and can give a more grounded and experienced view on what that sort of relationship might result in in terms of responses from family, friends, teammates, fans, etc.
Now, to be honest, I am almost positive that at least some of the large amount of gay hockey romance which I have crammed onto my Kindle is slash hockey RPF with the serial numbers scratched off. and hockey is one of my favorite sports anyway, particularly to watch from a seat near the ice where you can watch guys beat the crap out of each other 2 feet away from you while you’re eating pretzel bites, so I probably would’ve gravitated towards those romances anyway, even if they weren’t arguably the most represented sport in gay sports romances.
It’s just hard, not to notice how rarely the protagonists in gay sports romances, whether both partners be players or not, are both not white. Or even that just one of them is a person of color. And I mean, I was in high school during the height of the Chicago Bulls, running the NBA ragged, not to mention my friends and I watching the Duke/North Carolina rivalry, and the fact that I did play basketball for two years, despite being crap at it. I would love to see more gay sports romances set in the NBA. I would try to write one, but I don’t trust in my ability to convincingly write good basketball, and I don’t feel right writing a story about two basketball players who just based on the odds would have to be Black with the lived experiences a writer should just have for that sort of thing.
It just bothers me as somebody who loves queer romance and sports that so many of the queer sports romance protagonist are as white as the driven snow. I mean, at the very least it should not be that difficult to write queer romance in the WNBA. Or does Kimia need to present another PowerPoint on Smartypants?

Scammed Out of 0.85 BTC: Betcoin.ag and Playbetr.com Are Ruthless Frauds
I opened my Betcoin.ag account on March 2, 2022, with an initial deposit of $1000. For almost a year, I bet on sports like football and basketball sporadically. The low betting limits on Betcoin.ag drove me to Playbetr.com, a sister site with higher limits. I created my Playbetr.com account on December 31, 2022, and deposited $4000. Later, I added another $1000-$2000 there and another $1000 on Betcoin.ag, totaling around $7000-$8000 across both sites, all in BTC. Everything was fine until I started winning.
Initially, I lost on Playbetr, betting on NBA games. Then I won some bets on both sites, with entirely different selections. After winning, I tried to withdraw my balances, realizing my betting limits had been slashed to less than $10 on NBA bets. I requested withdrawals of 0.65 BTC from Playbetr and 0.21 BTC from Betcoin. Both sites asked for KYC verification, so I uploaded my driving license, selfies, and proof of address. My accounts were fully verified, and I awaited my withdrawals.
The next day, I found myself unable to log in to either site or access any account features. Both Playbetr and Betcoin blocked my accounts simultaneously without any reason. They emailed me, falsely claiming I was guilty of fraudulent actions and that they had the right to terminate my account and suspend payouts. They laughably offered to return my deposit, which I couldn’t care less about. This issue is affecting many others as well. The sites provided no explanation or evidence and ignored my emails since January 3, 2023. Live chat always directed me to email for more information.
Playbetr claims to be transparent and fair, responding to complaints on forums. But they scammed me out of 0.85 BTC, worth nearly $20k now. They listed various fraudulent actions, from syndicate play and match-fixing to using bots, but didn’t explain how I broke any rules. I’ve only bet on NBA games, which are major markets impossible to cheat in. Their claims are false, and they continue to ignore me and many others.
I refuse to let this slide and will do whatever it takes to address this injustice. Offering to return my deposits is a joke, especially since they ignore me when I bring it up. Some users have contacted Curacao courts and lawyers. I’m willing to spend whatever it takes to resolve this and prevent these scammers from cheating honest players.

Me reading Michael Jordan's birth chart
youtube
Let's go for this video I'll be quickly looking at Michael Jordan's sidereal and moon chart. The reason I chose to is because the NBA playoffs are on and in the basketball world. Michael Jordan is basically an icon. They still constantly bring him up even during the playoffs with comparisons to Anthony Edwards.
Outside of the NBA Michael Jordan is loved everywhere he goes so I wanted to know the cause of that. What makes a person get so much love from strangers everywhere they go? I've been thinking about that question heavily especially these past few weeks. I always thought Venus in the 1st or 7th house would be the cause of that. I kept thinking to myself Michael Jordan must have this placement but I never checked.
Until I made a tweet presuming he has it. About an hour later I checked he does indeed have Venus in the 7th house. His birth certificate was actually auctioned I think. Let me begin with his chart. I see he's a Gemini slash ardra ascendant. Which means he is a person that rescues or becomes a savior to people. Specifically people that are abused. In this case he does so with his in-laws. When he does help people out Michael Jordan wouldn't be all excited to do it and it would show in his communication.
I want to go away from his ascendant and talk about that Venus in the 7th house. Yep that's what makes Michael be loved by tons of strangers wherever he goes. Strangers of a different ethnicity and race because Venus is in Sagittarius so he also loves strangers of a different ethnicity as well. What this does though is this actually makes him attract a lot of female strangers. Not just that but religious females. Seeing A woman dressed in religious attire would actually turn on Michael Jordan. He is attracted to things like that. I'm starting to think Venus in the 1st or 7th house helps a person get fame.
Even his wife would be of a different ethnicity. Actually there are at least three indications of his wife being of a different ethnicity. Venus in the 7th house that shows a marriage being heavily about love. Two people really loving each other. From Michael Jordan's perspective he would love the difference in views, morals, cultural values that his wives or fiance brings. Due to that same Venus in Sagittarius.
Unfortunately though the sun is conjunct his 7th lord Jupiter in the 9th house. Which you know of course causes ego conflicts centered around Sagittarius things. Things such as religious views, or beliefs in anything. It is like a conundrum right? he gets excited due to his wife being of a different ethnicity or race. It is like a turn on for him. Yet due to the sun's influence on Jupiter especially during his sun or Jupiter antardashas. He is gonna have to deal with a wife that is very bossy in general. Not just bossy but independent with her belief system. Beliefs in anything. If she thinks traveling on Sundays are bad that would count as a part of her beliefs.
Michael Jordan is the same way because his sun is in the 9th house and conjunct Jupiter so he is a person that doesn't like to be told what to do when you think about it. As a result this arrogance comes out in his marriages. Arguments with the wifey about who is right and who is wrong. My way is better you should do it this way.Anyone that is on top of their astrology game knows the sun's influence increases the chances of a divorce very highly. I have yet to see someone not having to go through a divorce when the sun influences the 7th house.
There are two indications that show Michael not meeting his wives in New York like the 12th lord being in the 7th house. I honestly don't think his marriage ceremonies or engagement proposals would have taken place in New York. I gotta research it. I feel like something like an engagement proposal would have taken place on an airplane or during a vacation. There are too many indications for that. Shoots that's probably how he met his wives while he was on a vacation. After typing this I just checked his Wikipedia page and I just got reminded I was supposed to talk about his relationships a bit. Since his Venus plays an important. I won't say how in the future when I get popular I will but his sidereal chart clearly shows he will have love relationships or sexual partners with his business partners.
Then since the 7th house is involved I wonder if that was the reason why contracts were involved in his relationships or I guess secretive relationships in this case. I guess the placement I am looking at shows NDAs in a relationship. I could be completely wrong though because everything surrounding him and this Karla woman uses the words alleged and Jordan did won the court case. It does seem though that they legitimately had something going on. My assumption were that contracts were involved.
I want to briefly talk about. Is his the relationship he had with his father. He has the sun conjunct Jupiter. Keep in mind the sun represents his father and so does his 10th lord Jupiter. Those two planets conjunct in the 9th house of teachers shows that his father was a religious person with lots of morals as well. Then it shows that his father traveled a lot. Additionally the sun's impact on being in the 9th house made his father be a teacher or like a coach to Michael Jordan. Actually the Jupiter in the 9th house was the reason Michael got a college degree. His college major is geography. There is another placement that made him go to college but I don't want to mention it.His father had a lot of aquarius traits. As a result Michael inherited these aquarius traits. Which would be shown in let's say his religious beliefs.
Michael would be the type to want to know the scientific meaning behind religions. He would be the student to question what his teachers or even pastors have to say. Which makes him have rebellious or opposing views when it comes to religious. People's would think Jordan's religious beliefs are unorthodox or weird. If you pay attention I haven't discussed the nakshatras. Trust me when I read a birth chart me reading one house could look like a whole book so I am trying to skim through this. I'm surprised his higher education wasn't anything science or sociology related.
What caught my attention about his father was in his moon chart. The sun and Jupiter are both in the 4th house. Which made his mother become the father figure in his life. Evidently his sun rules his 10th house which makes the father become the mother figure in his life and vice versa. His mother would be the father figure in his life. This placement increases the chances of having a single parent. Idk how old Michael was when his father died thoughLol since sun and Jupiter are conjunct in the Aquarius sign 4th house. His mother carried a lot of aquarius traits too. I use his moon chart to demonstrate how all throughout this guy's birth chart there are double or even triple entendres. You could find one thing in his birth chart and there are like 2 other placements that confirm what you see.
Back to his sidereal chart. I still don't know what makes a person become an NBA player but seeing his 10th lord being in the 9th house definitely has something to do with it. More so the 9th house because even LeBron James has a similar placement with the 9th house. I'm guessing it's because NBA players travel a lot for work.In Michael Jordan's case his birth chart shows a person with an unusual work environment or career due to the Aquarius influence. Then since Jupiter is conjunct the sun that shows entrepreneurship. I'm still surprised this guy hasn't done something like counseling, consulting, or advising even coaching for his career. I could be wrong though he was like an owner of an NBA team.
Believe it or not I'm not really a Michael Jordan fanatic like most people are. It isn't a hater type of thing either. I just admire how this guy is supremely loved.Lastly what caught my eye at first was his Rahu and mars conjunction in the 2nd house. As well know that makes a person have uncontrollable or sporadic anger. This anger would come out through his speech or voice so out of nowhere he can just argue with someone. He could be calm one minute and boom just start shouting out of nowhere. It's clearly evident especially this conjunction being in the cancer sign. His anger would be seen in his facial expressions. Then you have to factor in his Saturn and mercury in the 8th house that would definitely factor in his way of speaking.I forgot to mention his Venus in the 7th house gives female business partners. I see he has a female business manager. Yeah this video is too long so I'm done.

NBA Rant: Fall of the House of Mamba
Watching my LAkers continue to fail, year after year, during this LeBron era is f*cking excruciating. I love my squad. I have since I was probably fifteen years old, going back even further to the late Eighties when I realized Magic Johnson was my all-time favorite player. I’ve been spoiled, much like San Antonio, to have generational talent on my team for literal decades. I came of age right around when Kobe matured into who he was meant to be. Kobe, rest in peace, has claimed that rarefied air where only the like of Jordan once stood. I don’t mean in the sense of greatness, no one is catching the GOIAT, but I mean in terms of relevancy to the game. I mean in terms of legacy among hoopers. I mean in terms of worth to the culture. When you shoot that lump of paper into the bin, who’s name are you shouting as it thunks on the bottom? When Mamba and Mambacita passed, the world stopped. We all mourned. That loss hit home and it effected everyone. Kobe was more than a hooper, star, or celebrity. He was Kobe Bean Bryant and history will take notice. He is the greatest Laker to ever don the purple and gold (Magic will tell you that, himself) and arguably the second best to ever step on a basketball court (Most professional hoopers will tell you that, too.) Watching Kobe play was an experience. Once he was gone, once he finally hung it up after dropping sixty in his farewell game, we missed him. It was surreal to have an NBA with Bryant, a Staples with no Mamba Mentality. There as a vacuum and f*cking LeBron James saw an opportunity. He bailed on Cleveland for a second time and sidled his way out West, trying to claim the empty throne Kobe left. LeBron saw the Farewell Tour. He saw how much LA was hurt after Kobe left. He wanted to be that for LA, too. He wanted that same love. I think it was matter of security over his legacy. In his mind, Jordan was the ghost he was chasing and then Kobe passed. You can chase accolades and build a *weak* case for being the GOAT but there was no way he’d ever be loved like Mamba. None. And he needed that. So he came to LA and tried to take that. It has gone poorly.
I wouldn’t consider myself a LeBron hater, not anymore anyway. I used to be, mostly because of his audacity to even consider himself the Goat. James is my age. My entire generation grew up idolizing Michael Jordan. We all wanted to be like Mike, even if we had different favorite players. Michael Jordan was it. He touched the culture in ways no one else could, not until Kobe reached his final form during those Redeem Team Olympic games. We saw how big of an international star, Kobe was. We saw, firsthand, the fervor he got from China, Spain, and the rest of the Olympic hopefuls. Awash in the greatest athletes of their generations, Kobe Bryant was a star. LeBron trying to claim he was as big as Jordan, as Kobe, and couldn’t even shoot a consistent three or post up with all of that strength, left a foul taste in my mouth. Jordan’s mid-range game is unassailable. Kobe’s bag was deeper than deep. LeBron is just uber stupid athletic. A Slasher’s Slasher in an era where Slashing got you forty free throw attempts a game. LeBron James was a product of his era, not necessarily organically great. Physically gifted, for sure, but was he a complete basketball player? Is he complete, now, after two decades in the league? Is his bag as deep as Kobe’s? Empericle evidence would suggest not. LeBron James’ time in LA has been an abject failure. Obviously, I didn’t expect much when LeBron came over. I saw it more as bait to woo in Anthony Davis. LA has a history of legendary Bigs and Davis has that potential. We gave up a ton to make that trade happen, but were able top corral a solid team together, right before COVID locked the league up. We got the NBA Bubble in return and LA showed out. That team was fantastic. It was well balanced and performed exceptionally well together. We won an Asterisk but Bron celebrated like it was legit. He has two of those, actually. Kobe doesn’t. Neither does Jordan. Eventually, LeBron gonna LeBron and got Coach Vogel fired off some WWestbrick nonsense and has been torpedoing the team ever since. Mans doesn’t play defense. He takes ridiculously bad shots at the worst goddamn time. He’s faked injuries in a petulant tantrum and even threatened to retire after an embarrassing exit from the WCF last year. We got years of mediocrity and one questionable title out of James’ time in LA. Straight trash.
No one stands up to this dude. I mean, Pelinka does when he can. Last year’s run was because Rob stood firm at the trade deadline, much to James’ chagrin. He was pushing hard to have LA trade for Kyrie but that didn’t happen and LA made a run that ended in Denver well into the postseason. Now James is threatening to retire, again, if LA doesn’t draft his bust of a son, Bronny. Look, it’s not fair to call the kid a bust but, I mean, that’s what he is. Dude will make the NBA as straight up nepotism, something Kobe would never do for Gianna. If she was going to be great, and she would have been, she was going to do so on the merit of her game, not the celebrity of her name. For sure, should could walk onto the USC hoop team, no problem, but one could argue any collegiate program would allow Mambacita that option. I bet she wasn’t about to average seven points in her freshman season, though. I be she would be in the gym at 3 am, just like her pops, because she’s her father’s daughter. She’s the one who got him back into the gym after retirement. She’s the one who got him back on those LA sidelines. Her love for the game reignited the passion Kobe lost after he walked away from the game. That’s beautiful. Bronny stonking up the joint just so Jeanie can placate Bron into staying just to sell tickets, is not. This season was a disaster. Darvin Ham was a terrible f*cking coach. We actually hung an In-Season Tournament Banner, like that’s a thing. Everything ion the court was inconsistent as f*ck and it’s glaringly clear that James is taking away from the development of his team mates. Sure, he gets points and makes his stats, but they are inconsequential numbers. Who gives a f*ck about milestones if they come with an L? So what LeBron has the most points, ever, in NBA history. Mans has played for two decades. So what he’s played in the most Playoff games ever. Mans has played in the league for two decades. His personal stats mean nothing if they come at the cost of team success but, you know, he the GOAT, tho. A GOAT who has had every single coach he’s ever had, save one, fired. A GOAT that has lost more championships than he’s won. A GOAT who, when down three-to-one in the Playoffs, got on TV and said, out loud, with his whole chest that if he’s eliminated (which they would do in the very next game), that it doesn’t matter because “It’s just basketball.” That statement right there, is why I’m so goddamn disappointed. “It’s just basketball.”
Mamba would never.
