Update; I got back into working on charms today!

I had a busy last week or two and hadn’t really had a chance or the energy to start drawing this once since i finished Ayda, for reasons that frankly are a bit boring to go into detail about here, but I’m excited to get back into the swing of things now!

I’m really quite happy with his wings so far, i think i figured out a good method for drawing them >:3

arc goes on a silly little trip to a dying kingdom on a finding nemo style search for its kid

#i think arc would be severely diminished in hallownest being outside its realm of influence+it is still rather young at this point #so its blending in with the locals to make navigating easier #this crossover involves baby gira slipping thru the cracks and somehow ending up in another universe. arc follows to find it #does seeing the decay+failure of the deities in this world leave a lasting impact on arc as an inexperienced young deity itself? well. :)#iffy on this design i did it quick but its hitting a lot of points i wanted generally. i dont wanna make it too fancy. simplicity is a poin #arc can manifest some extra arms (made of solid white light)+wield two more swords #brings resemblance to its wheel #has some elements that resemble the radiance. this is purposeful. not bc of malignance on arcs part they are both sun based deities #im justt fuckin around. smile #pokemon #arceus #sketch #also uuuh if youre seeing this wo any context for my arc n baby gira stuff check this tag:#poke mythos #or even #baby gira

i played the remastered alan wake a while back and am replaying the original on steam, and, honestly, they’re so similar, I couldn’t tell which is which if you held up comparisons. ive come across reviews about the game looking outdated and bad (mostly compared to other releases in that time), but the original looks great and I like the hazy dark lighting for both this and awan

#might delete #I can’t wait to run into all the product placements #like yeah I know it’s not. top graphics of that year. but I’ve stopped and looked at the environment So many times. it’s pretty!#this is because im biased but I *loved* AWANs choice of scenery. although I wish it was as detailed and expansive as the original games #all of remedy’s games do pretty great in terms of the environment. ignore controls terrible map and the Oldest House is an incredible space #to navigate just by following signs and all the little details. the atmosphere!#don’t even need to explain how aw2 is good with that #but even Max Payne 1 has this beautiful eerie quality where everything is this fever dream of grungy or old environments #even before the literal nightmare sequence it felt like navigating a dream of this Not New York City. like of course it’s likely born from #the limitations the developers had when making it. but the emptiness and placement of npcs added to the experience #QB so far is my least favorite in its style and environment but it’s still had some good moments. the use of flashbacks + time overlapping #onto abandoned and destroyed environments was genius. the college campus itself and the train(?) cargo(?) area was neat to go through #there’s some really good stuff there! *im also. not done with QB so im still hoping things get more wild!!#im honestly more forgiving of QB as a whole and find it interesting since it went through a lot of hell in its development #this might seem negative but it’s not! it’s a shockingly beautiful game. graphics exceed expectations #the style and some locations is where it’s more boring for me. but still good. im so tempted to buy it on steam to finally finish it #endless apologies if u opened this and ur entire page opened up an essays worth of tags

Hey bud! Um I am not the expert on this by any means (I have been on and off Tumblr since like 2010 but mostly off) but I think the closest equivalent to like a DM would be just starting a like message chain with them. On Mobile you can click the speech bubble icon in the upper left corner and select "send message".

Some people might not have it open at all, or just open to mutuals. If you're into like the Etiquette of it all I think some people clarify the parameters of who they want directly messaging them. I'm sure I'm followed by people more In the Know than I am, and if I'm wrong they can step in.

I can't tell if this is some sort of oblique shitpost meme thing. There's a lot of people coming here from other platforms who might genuinely not get the UI, so I'll answer in good faith.

But I'll also offer this in case this is some meme-y troll-er.

Do you like it? I think it's either a genuine comic from the old Highlights magazine, or it's a shitpost. I can't really tell.
