__ General __

❥ I will only write x readers on this blog, and will post longer stories with original characters on my wattpad account (the exception, is my fic graveyard)

❥ Most of my stories at the moment are fem!readers because it's the default way I write, however I am trying to change this and start having more gn!reader fics available

❥ Each fic has an individual dialouge key at the beginning, and the rest of the fic's dialouge will be color coded to match the person or character indicated at the beginning (this is usually only for my youtube video based fics like the Nate Hardy ones so the fic doesnt end up being 12k words explaining who is saying what)

❥ I dont have the time or extensive knowlege of grammar to sit down and edit most of my fics... so if errors bother you, this may not be the best experience, or place, for you to spend your time

❥ If you wanna be moots just send in an ask or message me to lemme know! I love talking to y'all! This also applies if you just want to be an anon, I don't think I have a big enough audience yet to have emoji anons, but I'm not against having some :)

      I also don’t tolerate any apologist attitudes about Akechi’s actions in the game– if you like him as a villain, that’s fine (I do too), but I frankly can’t stand it when people insist that what he did is excusable by any measure or like he’s just a ‘poor baby’ who deserves redemption because his situation ‘wasn’t his fault’. 

      Now, for the rest—

— General

      This blog is highly PRIVATE & MUTUALS-ONLY, meaning I reserve the right to follow back at my discretion and that I will only interact with those who I am mutuals with. Pestering me about this is unlikely to change my decision, so please respect it. If I follow you, I do so in the hopes of interacting, however, you needn’t feel obligated to follow back if you are not interested in writing with me. However, if you do not have a rules/about page easily accessible, it is highly unlikely that I will follow you, whether you're RPing a canon character or OC.         I am highly unlikely to follow blogs that are too heavily ‘canon divergent’ as most of those tend to become simply OCs with a canon character’s face and that’s not what I’m following canonmates for.         If we’re mutuals and we haven’t interacted ICly within a month of us following each other, I’ll likely unfollow. I really don’t have any desire to follow people just to have them on my dash rather than actually interacting with them and I certainly don’t feel like being just a tick on someone’s follow milestones or whatever. Not that the follow isn’t appreciated, but I would really rather interact with my mutuals than simply admire them from afar.         Starting threads from asks is welcomed so long as it's discussed with me beforehand. I do welcome messages for plotting, as I work a bit better with an idea of what the end goal of a thread is. Of course, that's not always necessary, but it helps me to formulate my replies.         Otherwise, the standard rules apply– no god/info modding, no harassing for replies, no bringing unnecessary drama to my dash. Vaguing or constant failure to handle conflicts with others maturely will result in an immediate unfollow. Constantly bringing drama/callouts to the dash will result in a block. I'm old, I don't got time for that.  

— Mature Content

       Persona 5 is a game that deals with a lot of dark themes. Things such as emotional & physical abuse, sexual assault and alcoholism are among the many things the game involves in its story. As such, they will likely come up on this blog whether in passing or as discussion between characters. Of course being who he is, Akira would never do much as consider any of these actions, but he will not hesitate to be a listening ear for those who need it. If these topics bother you to even see in passing, though they will be tagged to the best of my ability, you have to be mindful of your own comfort level. I’m not here to do so for you.        Now, in terms of nsfw, my Akira is 18, but such things are hardly at the fore of his mind. Even so, the subject may come up even in conversation or in the form of musings/reblogs, and if ships happen there may also be such content implied. If this at all bothers you, then you’re free to not follow.          As the mun is 25+, it’s highly unlikely that I’ll interact with anyone under 21, both for my comfort and theirs. 

— Friendships/Relationships

      As far as shipping, that’s not really my intent with Akira, but like with most things, I prefer to ship chemistry over anything else. I absolutely will not ship Akira with Akechi, or with any of the adult confidants. Any ‘friendship’ with Akechi will be under the assumption that the thread is taking place before the events immediately following the completion of Sae’s palace.        Otherwise, I don’t mind plotting friendships, but please understand that close relationships outside of the Phantom Thieves may take time to develop.        I am exclusives with enjuste’s Akechi, so please respect this.  

— Confidants

      All confidants are default rank 8 minimum when Akira mentions them to others, though we can adjust that as necessary for interactions. If anyone would like to play out a social link differently than it was handled in canon, that’s fine too! Really, it’s whatever makes my writing partners happy.

Valiant Hearts's Joining Guide

PLEASE READ OUR JOINING GUIDE

This is our complete and comprehensive joining guide! Here we will take you through all the steps you'll need to register an account and get started. Please note that you will most likely have to reference other parts of the guidebook to complete your profile.

REGISTRATION

First things first, join our Discord! The links to our discord server is located in the top info box on the main site index page. We require that every member of Valiant-Hearts is part of the Discord community, as this is where we will be posting many of our announcements, holding raids, events, and more.

Next, create your OOC account on site! This account should be the name of your online handle - or what you'd prefer to be called as a player on the site. Be sure use proper capitalization, and double check that the name you'd like isn't already in use. You can browse our member directory (located at the top left of the page in the black nav bar) for a list of our current members for all names that are currently in use.

EVERY MEMBER WILL ONLY HAVE ONE OOC ACCOUNT.

Once your OOC account is established, log out (click your name up in the top nav bar, and a window will appear with several options including the log out button), and register your first character!

Character accounts should be registered in the format Firstname Lastname. Again, be sure to use proper capitalization here! Valiant-Hearts does not have any prohibitions on duplicate first or last names.

But wait! What if your character doesn't have a last name? That's okay! Register with their Firstname only. Many elves (and Qunari, and some others) rarely have surnames. They are not a requirement.

Once your first character account is registered, be sure to attach them to your OOC account. You can access the site's account switcher by navigating to your user panel (click your name up in the top nav bar), looking down at the bottom left of the menu, and clicking the account switcher link. Enter your OOC account name and password in the fields under 'attach user to current account' - and voila! Your accounts are now linked. You can switch between accounts by clicking the 'change account' link in the top right of the black nav bar.

IMAGES

All accounts will require at least two representative images. The first is the account avatar, which shows at the side of every single post made on the site. Avatar dimensions should be 250x400px; avatars will resize automatically, but will look best if around that size range. You can change your account avatar by navigating to the top black nav bar, clicking on your account name, and mousing down to 'change avatar'.

The second image is the large portrait displayed on the account's profile page. This image should be a minimum of 400x650px to look its best. You can input the url for this image under the 'Profile Image Url' field in the profile edit screen.

Please do keep in mind the Valiant-Heart site rules regarding graphics and images. No nudity, overly explicit blood or gore, etc. Artwork is allowed for character representation in lieu of a face claim, however, it must be either official Dragon Age art (as released by Bioware) or commissioned/gifted/trade pieces or those done yourself.

PROFILE

On Valiant-Hearts, your profile and your application are the same thing! You can edit your profile and access the user control panel by clicking on your account name in the upper right hand corner of the screen. OOC accounts only need the OOC portion of the profile filled out; character accounts will need BOTH to be completed. Once you have filled out your profile completely, access our discord maintenance channel and create a character acceptance ticket to start your character review!
