Wow! I love this VR tour of this show @taikwuncontemporary which features my work that is in the collection of the #NationalMuseumOfArtOsaka @nmaojp. It’s really well done and it does give a sense of the spatial qualities of the show. It’s a bit like #GoogleStreetView but inside an exhibition. This performance is one that I’ve staged many, many times, where we would invite members of the audience to become active participants; in this case, to spend hours memorising a #shortstory that I’ve written. This particular #story is one of my favourites. It’s written with #Osaka in mind as it’s specially written to celebrate the 20th anniversary of @nmaojp. It’s called : A Short, Performing, Story. Very, very happy that they decided to collect it! Yay! FOCUS ON CONTEMPORARY ART FROM THE U.S., FRANCE, GERMANY, AND THE U.K. . 米・仏・独・英の 現代美術を 中心に . 1/3 . . 20世紀を代表するコンテンポラリーアート、とりわけ戦後を中心とした現代美術作品の収集力で定評のある国立国際美術館。 . ここには作品のクォリティだけでなく知名度でも群を抜く名作が多数所蔵されていて、質、量、充実度の高さは国内屈指。 . 今回、作品を国別に構成し展示するというコレクション展が実現できたのも、それらの蓄積された所蔵作品があるからこそ。 . ちなみに国別を基本にした現代美術の所蔵作品展は、国内の美術館では過去にほとんど例がないとか。 . クリスト、ヨーゼフ・ボイス、フランク・ステラ、マーク・ロスコ、リチャード・セラ、リキテンスタイン、ウォーホル、ジャスパー・ジョーンズ、ゲルハルト・リヒター、サイ・トゥオンブリー、ドナルド・ジャッド、そしてジャコメッティなど…僕好みの（笑）そして20世紀を牽引してきた美術家たちの才能を目のあたりにし気分は昂揚…あらためてアートの力を実感することに。 . . . 国立国際美術館 The National Museum of Art, Osaka . 『コレクション1：越境する線描』展 . . 観たかったのはメインの企画展ではなく内外（新旧）の作家たちによる『コレクション1：越境する線描』展。 . わけても楽しみだったのはクリストの「包まれたライヒスターク」と「包まれたポン・ヌフ」の二作品。 . 遺作ではないもののそれに近いこの二作の前に立ち、感慨もひとしおに。 . ほかにも瀧口修造の詩画集にまつわるドローイング類、サイ・トゥオンブリーの「マグダでの10日の待機」、O JUNの「曳航・積載」、山城隆一「森・林」、ジョン・カリン「かわいらしい人」、柳幸典「ワンダリング・ポジション」、なつかしい宮脇愛子「うつろひ」など秀作ぞろいでシニアFREE（入場無料）なのが申し訳ない気分(^^;) . . ともあれ、派手さはないけれどじわりと沁みるとても良い展覧会でした。 . 次回 『コレクション２：米・仏・独・英の現代美術を中心に』もすごく楽しみ！ . . #越境する線描 #TransgressingLines #コレクション1 #Collection1 #NationalMuseumOfArtOsaka #国立国際美術館 #NMAO #田蓑橋 #10月11日まで #LeicaC #ライカC #LEICAcTyp112 #VarioSummicron #バリオズミクロン #次回は11月3日より . .
