Born to Run** (Marcus Pike x f!Reader)
Marcus is sent on a vacation to a cozy cabin on a wooded bike trail by his coworkers after his devastating breakup with Theresa. You are training for your upcoming marathon on the same bike trail when one of your runs is interrupted by a creeper on the trail, and you are ‘saved’ by a handsome stranger with a tragic (recent) past… Content Warnings: BDSM
Common Grounds** (Marcus Pike x f!Reader)
Stop me if you've heard this one: a handsome stranger walks into a coffee shop.
Forgive These Bones I'm Hiding | Part 2** (Serial Killer!Marcus Pike x Police Officer f!Reader)
When five paintings are stolen from their frames, an unusual crime for your small-town precinct in Hannibal, Missouri, it's easy for you to project your insecurities about being a female police officer in a tiny, Midwest town onto the handsome FBI Agent from Washington who arrives to help with the case. But as your disposition--and the solid walls you've built around yourself--begin to soften, you quickly find you have bigger problems than the charming man you can't help but develop feelings for. One by one, bodies are starting to pile up. Bodies that all seem to share one connection… You.
How to Kill an Immortal** (Marcus Pike x OFC)
There is a strange magic that surrounds the life of Marcus Pike. Born in Medieval York in the 1300s, he realizes that he is not aging like other people. For seven hundred years, he wanders the earth, falling love over and over again due to his caring nature. When a new art theft case takes him back to York, Marcus searches for a way to bring an end to his unnaturally long life, so he can finally be at peace.
Intimidation Tactics** (Marcus Pike x you x Dave York)
You and your partner, Marcus Pike, are investigating a case that brings you far too close to something much more dangerous than your average art thief.
le Palais des Roses** (Marcus Pike x f!Reader)
A Moulin Rouge AU
The Rift** (Marcus Acacius x Marcus Moreno x Marcus Pike x Reader)
Marcus Moreno and the Heroics managed to contain the detonation of a supervillain's black hole bomb in the middle of Washington, DC, but the energy blast created a mysterious crack in the middle of Pennsylvania Avenue. Scientists are calling it a rift in time and space. Marcus Moreno calls it a logistical security nightmare. Several weeks after the Rift opens, unusually well-preserved ancient Roman artifacts begin to flood the black market, inundating Special Agent Marcus Pike's team with work. He enlists you, a Classical Archaeologist with a focus on Imperial Roman art and a curator at the National Gallery of Art, to assist his team in identifying the growing pile of smuggled artifacts. Despite the Heroics' desperate attempts to close the Rift, it's only a matter of time before something much larger than gold coins makes its way through the crack in spacetime and onto the streets of DC... Or: Three people named Marcus are smooshed together into the same space.
Tumblr media
Again, Again** (Marcus Pike x f!Reader)
Marcus comes home to surprise you with lunch. In the end, who's the most surprised? Content Warnings: Contains CNC
All the Time in the World** (Marcus Pike x f!Reader)
You’ve never been able to climax without the aid of a vibrator. Due to your insecurities and internalized shame, you rarely involve any toys during sex with a partner, and have been “faking it” for years. You and your new boyfriend, Marcus Pike, have been taking your relationship very slowly–building up a beautiful connection without ever having seen each others’ bedrooms. Two months in, neither of you can wait any longer. How will Marcus react when he discovers the thing you consider to be your deepest, darkest secret?
The Art of the Double-Cross (Marcus Pike x Reader)
“People have been trying to solve the Isabella Stewart Gardner museum theft for decades,” she says quietly, putting her hand on his arm. “Decades, and yet you find the one detail everyone else had overlooked.”
Best Bike Crash Ever (Marcus Pike x f!Reader)
After a hit and run at a crowded intersection, you are suddenly very intrigued by your rescuer–the cute FBI Agent who just happened to be a bystander.
The Crucible** (Marcus Pike x f!Reader)
Marcus Pike’s latest case takes him undercover to a BDSM club. When he’s called to participate as a dom in a scene with an unattached sub, will he be able to keep his focus on the task at hand?
Everything** (Marcus Pike x f!Reader)
Marcus is obsessed with your ass.
Lead Me Not Into Temptation** (Priest!Marcus Pike x f!Reader)
[Based on the prompt: "Priest Marcus Pike, praying next to the bed he just annihilated a pretty parishioner in"]
No Net Ensnares Me** (Victorian Marcus Pike x f!Reader)
Co-Written with @littlebirdsbookshelf
Of All the Gin Joints...** (Marcus Pike x f!Reader)
You and Marcus are both trying to re-enter the dating scene after bad relationships, and you’ve been set up on a blind date. You really hit it off, but after a few dates, it seems like Marcus is being really distant. Before you can ask him about it, you run into someone from Marcus’s past…
Pizza Comes Third** (Marcus Pike x f!Reader)
You’ve harbored a crush on your partner in the FBI Art Crimes Department for ages. When he accidentally knocks over your purse and a recent sex toy purchase falls out, how will he react? And how does acclaimed boy-scout Agent Marcus Pike know anything about nipple clamps?
Spilled Ink (Tattoo Artist Marcus Pike x f!Reader)
Uhhh Marcus Pike as the world's softest tattoo artist that's it that's the fic.
Spring Fling** (Marcus Pike x virgin!f!Reader)
When you and your friend, fellow pre-Law student Emma, plan to go to Washington DC for spring break instead of the typical beach destination, she makes plans for the two of you to stay with her estranged father for the week to save money on lodging. You never expected Emma’s father, a man she says she’s barely seen throughout the years, to be so sweet, so troubled, and so unfairly pretty. Neither did you expect for what you’d thought was a one-sided attraction to turn into a spring fling… or maybe something more.
What A Pair We Make** (Marcus Pike x f!reader)
A series of short scenes depicting a very loving growth and evolution of a dd/lg relationship with Marcus. Content warnings: dd/lg

Hi! I'm the anon who asked about the shoes and the trains. First, I wanted to thank you so much for finding those sandals! I really appreciate you scouring the internet for them. I don't know why I didn't try looking at Clark's right off the bat. They look like something that company would make. And I know you said the Clark's you found were the closest you could get but honestly I think those really are the sandals CT was wearing. They look like an exact match to me! I have a couple Clark's and they've lasted quite a few years already so I might need to treat myself.
As for the trains - I love that you have a rideable model locomotive in your backyard! Gosh, I would've done anything for that setup as a kid. I bet your grandkids adore coming to visit. Thomas the Tank Engine was one of my favorite toys growing up. I so very much wanted to be a train conductor thanks to George Carlin and Ringo Starr on Shining Time Station (not sure if they aired that show in the UK but it was a Thomas show). Thanks for sharing the photos - little kid me loved seeing them and hearing about your family's love of trains!
Aww, thank you kind Anon
You've made me feel that all my efforts didn't go to waste.
Like you, I have only ever bought comfortable, lasting footwear from Clark shoes. The only problem was when I slipped on a toy car left on the stairs, and the heel on my boots ripped off - saving me from nothing worse than a sore ankle. I loved those boots....
Anyway. Yay that we found the right pair of sandals worn by CT to hunt down!
Oh, that's interesting. We never had Shining Time Station here in the UK; just Ringo Starr narrating Thomas the Tank Engine (I've never seen George Carlin in anything apart from a standup routine, and Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, of course).
My poor eldest son isn't interested in trains and had to spend his birthday with us visiting the Peco factory - which is basically several large railways setups on display, with about 4 to ride on. Oh well. Me and him enjoyed ourselves doing some pottery painting instead.
About from that, family holidays often sneak in a steam railway visit or two. There tends to be a local steam preservation society in most places in the UK. And every steam railway TV programme had to be recorded and watched numerous times when they were small.
It's a good job I can appreciate steam locos' beauty, I suppose. Plus, it gives us a good excuse to visit York and the National Railway Museum. We rode on this one

i may have discovered some plagiarism while researching smth
For example, a spinning top trained a child’s fingers in the movements used in spinning. A small toy boat could, in addition, reflect the wish to travel on an expedition with an adult crew. A wooden sword could be used for training until it was exchanged for an iron one. Play could therefore also be used for more serious purposes. - National Museum of Denmark: Children in the Viking Period
Most of these were probably made for children to play with, but some of the objects were also useful to develop various skills, which the children could use as adults, in work or in conflict. For example, a spinning top trained a child’s fingers in the movements used in spinning or a miniature weapon could be used for training until it was exchanged for an iron one. Shetland Museum and Archives: Viking Toys and Games
I did check and i'm almost completely certain they weren't written by the same person, I also want to make it very clear I'm not trying to formally accuse anyone of anything bc this was probably an accident. I just thought it was funny bc of how obvious it was.

Goodbye-eee!
Sydney
27 May 2023
The journey of a thousand miles, it seems, begins with a half-dozen trains.
We left Canberra just before 7am, travelling by the Xplorer train service as far as Campbelltown. Normally this service would take us all the way into Sydney, but the spectre of trackwork loomed over us and we had to change to the suburban network. We caught a train from Campbelltown to Wolli Creek, changed there, and carried on to Hurstville, which was to be our base of operations for the weekend. We left our stuff there and returned to the station, catching a fourth train to Town Hall.
Tumblr media
I am something of a regular at Peter Nathan Toy Soldiers, by which I mean I go there maybe twice a year. I am sure this counts as being a regular. One might perhaps find it paradoxical that I wax philosophical about the horrors of war while collecting my little pewter troopers. My response is to paraphrase the great author H. G. Wells, who, when the paradox of his being a pacifist and an avid miniature wargamer was brought up, responded that ‘tin soldiers do not leave tin widows and tin orphans.’ And I like to think I have a bit of taste as to what I collect - I don’t collect wounded soldiers (as much as I tease Mum about getting that bayoneted Jacobite - she likes Outlander, you see), and the SS are completely verboten, thank you very much. But I am also keenly aware that this hobby attracts what we might charitably call oddballs. I overheard the owner in a discussion about how the most popular topics for toy soldier collection are Romans and the Nazis. Make of that what you will.
Perhaps I’m being too judgemental. I’m sure there are people who think my collection of British redcoats is problematic. Not everyone with an interest in the Nazi military is a neo-Nazi - but these days, I find it helps to maintain a healthy scepticism.
Tumblr media
After this, I headed down to Darling Harbour and walked around the precinct of the National Maritime Museum. There’s little WWI-related there, of course - I’m not certain a single WWI Australian ship survives - but it’s still always well worth a look. One thing that annoys me is the new ‘action stations’ building - I’m sure it’s an excellent educational aid, but it blocks what used to be a good photographic angle of HMAS Vampire’s port side. I had hoped to see the replica of Janzoon’s Dufkyen, but it seems it was at sea when I was there. The submarine Onslow and the patrol boat Advance seemed in good order, and the Endeavour replica was a delight to look over as always. Of particular note was the Krait, a captured Japanese fishing boat used by Australian and British commandos in a sabotage operation in Singapore harbour - it tends to be obscured by something when I go to the museum, so it was nice to see it unobstructed today.
After that, I walked back to the Queen Victoria Building via JB-HI-FI, where I picked up a bluetooth mouse that doesn’t work. I suppose that’s twenty dollars I’ll never see again. We caught the train back to Hurstville, picked up some groceries and some KFC, and returned to the hotel, where I write this now. Tomorrow, we’ll be heading in to Hyde Park Barracks and the Anzac Memorial, and taking a trip on the ferry to Manly. I’m sure I’ll have a little more to say about all that.

The Frosty Train, Road Race, Kiddie Wheel, Kiddie Bump Car, Mini Pirate Ship, and Mini Swing are all available for children. We also visited the winter wonderland inside the star city, which offered various attractions made of actual ice and snow and allowed us to enjoy a white Christmas. We were welcomed by the enthralling extreme rides as we made our way to the outdoor activities, and when we spotted the star frisbee, an extreme ride, we immediately ran to the long line to ride the star Frisbee.
After an intense experience, we were so excited that we didn't even have a moment to relax before continuing to ride another extreme attraction, the jungle splash, where you ride a log boat that ends with an exhilarating plunge into the sea. Even though the splash of the water caused us to get wet, it was still enjoyable. After the water ride, we made the decision to get dressed and go on to the indoor attractions. We went to the Digital Surround Theater since I'm a big admirer of astrology. There, we had the best whole sensory experience possible with cutting-edge 360-degree visual and audio equipment. We were shown how the universe was made, starting with planets, stars, many universes, and other things. After enjoying the show, we made the decision to purchase a few souvenirs, including adorable headbands and accessories. moreover, being fans of kpop and anime, we purchased some kpop and anime memorabilia.
