did some research to write some background info for a roleplay...ended up not using the research LOL

Eden "Evans" Adams

Dorian Gray but he's a butch lesbian. He was born in London, though the date of his birth is ambiguous. He appears as a 30 years old adult.

A mysterious individual in a world where most of the supernatural is explained by some degree of scientific rationale. Eden has been handsomely youthful since the late 1890s and nobody knows how or why he is still possibly alive in the contemporary world. He has ever since his early days profited from the uneasy air of mystery around him, jumping around various jobs and roles in society depending on his whims and desires. After being an aristocratic socialite during the early 1900s, he started his career as an actor, making use of his androgynous charm to play masculine roles within films, often subverting the expectations planted on him by the social environments he frequented. Then in the 1970s he got bored and started working as a model. Then, from the 90s onward, he chose to become a NASCAR racer in the USA, much to everyones surprise.

He is infamous for being a womanizer and a cheater (he will treat you worse it doesnt matter that he is a lesbian) but his charms are undeniably irresistible if he flirts with you. He also is very explicit about hating men and working with them.

He may or may not have some slimy little secrets... And he is willing to kill to make sure they remain, well, secret.

Eden is also canonically formally dating my other OC Karmina Sin', a Kazakh-Russian woman who's the head of a successful publishing company within my world. She herself has her own secrets.

Marzanna

Marzanna is part of a world I have built with a friend, which we call "Idyllic forest drama" (you can find more of her if you search this tag on my blog as well). More or less she is a Witch of the Forest, a Messenger of Gods, forever bound to protect the forest she lives in (whom the gods shes a messenger of are inhabitants of) and the confines of the city of Lasie.

Her story is more complex as the world she's in is more fantastical even if not like, high fantasy.

Marzanna is the "runt" among a long-lasting clan of giants. Their legacy in the current day of the story is dwindling in nothingness due to having outcast Marzanna, who, for them, was a disgrace upon them all... due to being smaller than her very very very tall brothers and sisters (they're giants, you can expect their standards to be erm... big shoes to fill). Still, Marzanna at her full height will reach about 3 meters, which is still extremely impressive.

Her story is a bit of a mystery. She doesn't enjoy thinking about the past, but tends to have a pessimistic outlook towards the present as well. She suffers from chronic depression, which in this world isn't extremely understood as a condition, and her being the way she is (gruff, reclusive, doesn't enjoy talking to people, and used to being alone) makes things all the more difficult. Nonetheless, she is focused on her duty as a protector of the Lake, Forest and city. She is seen by the townsfolk as a demi-god guardian who carries the wisdom of the gods of the forest, but some people who are less supertitious see her more as an objective spiritual figure of sorts they don't pay much mind to. However, the messages she carries are still law and the local politics are obliged to listen to her.

Marzanna used to be someone else in her past, literally. How she is now is the result of a complex process of rebirth. This is a blessing bestowed upon her by the gods of the forest, who are sort of fae-like in nature, and thought they'd get a kick out of doing it.

Marzanna is represented by stags, specifically. Other than being big as a stag, deer in general are considered sacred and holy animals in Lasie, as they represent the gods themselves and the gods resemble them. So, hunting deer is extremely prohibited.

Briggs is a really quiet man. He tends to think before he speaks and sometimes can be a little ‘off putting’, because of how closed off he seems.

He’s only been in Savannah about a year, but has grown to really enjoy the place outside of what he came here for.

Briggs has always liked to work with his hands. Crafting, painting, maintenance, anything that can be used to benefit someone, he’s all for it.

Briggs loves Winter. Snow, fires, hot chocolate, all of the things that remind him of winter he thoroughly enjoys and will make the most out of winter months.

Despite his previous job as a veterinarian, Briggs has never had a pet. Watching people grieve over the loss of their pets always made him too sad to ever get on of his own.

Even though he doesn’t look like the kind that would, he loves gardening. Growing vegetables, fruits, and anything else he can grow from a seed, he enjoys watching the progress.

He loves nude/neutral colors. He’s not really sure why, but he’s sure it has something to do with comments his mom would make to him when he was younger about how it worked well with his skin tone.

Briggs has always enjoyed racing, whether it be drag racing, local racing, or even Nascar, he considers it a guilty pleasure.

Briggs isn’t always the best at expressing it, but, he loves deeply.

THE SUMMARY

Bridger has always been a man of his word. He loves his work deeply, but doesn’t like to boast when he’s done a good job. He tends to put others before himself, regardless of how important his issues tend to be. He used to be a veterinarian - specializing in equestrian veterinary - and loved every second of it. However, when a racing accident caused a TBI, leading to life long hand tremors, he was unable to do his job to the fullest ability and gave up his career and his dream. He started doing odd and end work in Houston, working with animals when he could but mostly maintenance, or any sort of outside labor that he could. During this time he and Chantel - the girl he started dating after his divorce - got married, and within that time he got the call from his twin brother that their parents had passed away, leaving the two of them in charge of Crescent Canyon Farms here in Savannah, Georgia.

Personality:

Growing up in the hunter life gave Lucy a thick skin from a young age. She was exposed to the monsters of the world and because of it became well guarded. Whilst she’s openly playful and friendly her attitude can change at the drop of a dime. She’s tough, smart and when she needs to be she can be cruel. There’s a lot of pain and grief in her heart but much like her brother, she hates to show it. Lucy will always hide behind the mask she wears so well, most likely even if she trusts you. She doesn’t like to appear weak through fear of being exposed and made vulnerable.

Past:

Lucy was born in Ireland to a happily married hunter couple. She, along with her older brother, Riley, were unplanned but absolutely wanted and loved unconditionally. They were raised in the hunting life and spent a lot of time on the road. Their parents are decent people but given their job, Riley basically raised Lucy himself, despite only being a few years older. The child of a hunter is never really a child, after all. Because of it though, she and Riley are thick as thieves and twice as smart. There isn’t anything she wouldn’t do for her brother so when tragedy struck? Lucy was a hot mess. A vampire had killed their Uncle and put Riley on life support for three months. Luckily he recovered but when he woke it was Lucy who had to tell him Linc had died. The day still haunts her because it was also the first time she had ever seen her brother cry. Lucy was only 16 at the time and she was so traumatized by the events that she’s the main reason their parents quit hunting to live a normal life. Their father didn’t take any convincing, the loss of his brother paired with almost losing Riley did a number on him and al he wanted was his family safe and alive. So, they all returned to Ireland and became permanent residents once again. It was the apple pie life, for a while.

Much like her brother, Lucy became restless. She had no idea what direction to take her life in or even how to channel all her grief and anger. She joined a boxing gym and it was there that she met her first boyfriend. He introduced her to the races and being quite the adrenalin junkie, Lucy was absolutely sold. Much to her families dismay, she had decided to be a rally driver. Her relationship with her first love lasted a couple of years before she found out he had been cheating on her the whole time. Rather than cry about it, it only made her more career focused and she completed the NASCAR driving course to qualify and build her reputation in the field. She studied the mechanics, competed in some local races until she got noticed by a professional who took her under his wing. Lucy has spent the last five years working with and for him, earning her money on the track as much as in the garage creating the perfect race cars for the local competitors.

She’s completed various courses in racing, mechanics and just recently, qualified to be a driving instructor. What her family doesn’t know is that her boss is a crook. He sets up illegal races for big bucks and uses Lucy as his main driver because of her skills. She’s yet to lose a race. The thrill of it is what she loves the most and obviously, the money. She has a secret intimate relationship with her boss, even though he’s 15 years older and married with two kids. It doesn’t bother her like it should but she keeps it a secret to avoid the judgement of her family, especially her brother. Unbeknown to everyone, Lucy still trains to keep fit and occasionally hunts when she’s feeling angry and can’t find another way to calm down.

Present:

After her bosses wife found out about their affair, she made sure to set him up good and called the police to tip them off about the location of one of his less than legal races. Lucy managed to get away but her boss wasn’t so lucky. Her parents were obviously mortified and though she wanted to come clean about everything she knew she couldn’t. It would hurt them too much to know she willingly participated and so, she lied through her teeth and pretended to know nothing about it. Needing a break from it all, she packed a bag hit the road, heading straight for Mystic Falls to surprise her brother, who, she knew would have his own questions. But at least he wouldn’t judge her like she secretly feels her parents doing.

4: What’s the one thing you especially love about roleplaying your muse?

Oh gosh, there are so many things, but really, what I LOVE about writing her is the complexity of her Emotions. YES, I said Emotions. That is the most amazingly challenging thing that she offers me, and I thoroughly enjoy it. I have a ton of things I am writing for Amelie, and soon those will be posted. 

8: The mun’s favorite fictional character.

Wow, there are so many. In this fandom, of course my girl, but then Reaper kills me every time, and Jack, Sombrita, Mercy, Hanzo.

In the Transformers fandom, my love, besides my muse Chromia, is Ironhide. Also, Galvatron, but especially as he is portrayed by my dearest @dai-galvatron who is simply beyond compare. 

23: Last book the mun read.

Currently re reading the Dune series. I read these as they were translated in Romanian back when I was in my late teens. I want to read them now in English and enjoy that world.

24: Do you like any sports?

Yes, I do. Racing. I am a huge racing fan. No, not NASCAR. I come from the land of racing, and back home, we turn right too. LOL. I love F1, road courses, and of course Moto GP. 

I do watch football here, but I am a soccer fan at heart. Soccer is a religion in Europe, bar none.

Why did you make me do math?

4. What’s the one thing you especially love about roleplaying your muse?

The longer I do this, the more I feel like James was subconsciously some of my darker personality traits getting expressed.  He’s got some elements of some of the types of fiction I like.  But I like to think he’s almost believable. 

8. The mun’s favorite fictional character.

I could name a few here, but the one I’ve really liked for a while now is Nathan Drake, of the Uncharted video game series.  He’s a very well-rounded character, especially by video game standards, which is not a medium that is particularly suited for such things. 

12. The last time the mun cried. 

I think last November.  It was also a rare moment I cried that didn’t involve someone’s death.  I can’t really talk about it without getting more personal than I’m comfortable with. 

16. What does the mun really think about my muse?

I haven’t really interacted with her, but I like she seems pretty original.  More down-to-earth than many of them, including, admittedly, my own. 

20. Which of your ships on this blog is the fluffiest?

Honestly, I have no idea how to answer this one.

24. Do you like any sports?

Yes, though mostly watching.  I do work out now.  I wanted to play sports as a kid, especially baseball, but didn’t get much of a chance.  I played golf some growing up because it was the only thing I could get my parents to let me play, since I got my dad interested.  I watch football, baseball, and NASCAR a lot, basketball to some extent, college softball sometimes, and other things once in a while.  When the Olympics rolls around that takes up most of my TV time (Summer, I didn’t watch 5 total minutes of the last 3 combined Winter Olympics).

Twitter Interest Targeting Options

Recently my co-worker, Tim Jensen, wrote a blog post on setting up a Twitter Ads campaign. One of the sections of that post explained setting up the targeting for your campaign. I wanted to use my post to deep dive into the interest targeting options and list out what is currently available to help you consider if Twitter Ads is right for your brand. Use the links below to help you find the targeting areas most important to your account goals

In all there are twenty-five interest categories which can be drilled down to 350 subcategories. These interest are compiled based upon topics users connect or engage with on Twitter. While some categories and subcategories may seem specific, even Twitter states this targeting option is at a broader scale.

Twitter recommends selecting no more than 10 subcategories to your ad group. After the campaign launches, you will be able to review the performance to see how your interest selections perform. You can then review the data to decide if you want to remove any interest targeting options or possibly separate out some interests into their own campaigns to push more exposure.

Take some time to review your options. Even if Twitter Ads doesn’t have the exact types of interests you are looking for, try and find other interests your target audience may also be interested in. For example, under Gaming, you cannot target specific brands, but you may want to target Console Gaming, Gaming News, or Online Gaming. It won’t take a lot of time to review all your options and see if interest targeting on Twitter is right for your brand.
