So this is my attempt at making an AU, along with improving my drawing skills. If you've ever watched ever after high, you'll see how there are similar concepts, but heres how the aU basically works.

• All monsters are assigned a fairytale at birth. A few examples are: Sans was assigned Sleeping Beauty, mean while Flowey was the dark fairy. However! Anyone that enters the underground (say a human like Chara) will also be assigned one.

• In canon, it is completely random. However, I as the creator am actually picking them based off what I think suits both them and the plot best.

• Nobody is guaranteed a happily ever after or bring defeated. The story might vary from generation to generation.

• The 'destiny' won't activate until their 16, within the year of turning 16, something will trigger it, no matter what. (The rule is different for humans though.)

• Almost all monsters here are now 15 or younger. Sans is 15, nearly 16. Papyrus is 12, nearly 13. But others like Torial are still adults.

• There is a large book called the book of Fables, each page is blank UNTIL someone is assigned a destiny, then that page will fill with the monsters name and fairytale. Only after a fairytale is either complete or failed, will a new one be assigned. (So before Sans, Chara was the Sleeping Beauty, and uhh, you'll have to see my other post to see what happened to them. 0-0)

• Time is very sensitive, and destinies must be completed within a specific time frame. (For snow white, after they're poisoned by the apple, their royal charming only has two weeks to wake them up, or else they both fail. Oh, amd snow white would not survive...)

• If anyone has any drawing tips, please do share! ^^

• I'll also be taking suggestions for what characters should do what role. (Example: I don't know what Napstabloo should be yet.) However, I may not end up taking the idea.

•Frisk the Child, A human child from the underground who has stumbled to the surface, with some Determination and KINDNESS , They will embark on a quest to bring peace to humans and monsters. showing monsters that humans aren’t that bad at all. The determination and Kindness leads to monsters looking at humans at a different point of view .

•Toriel the explorer , who is the first monster that Frisk encounters and guides them to town. , Has been shown to have trouble taking care of children due to a previous experience but tries to do her best with frisk. a go getter and clever girl , She just loves the taste of adventure , she is also the queen , who went missing after the death of her son .

•Flowey the curious , is adorable to a tem level and is not hostile at all. Formley the kings son name asriel who fell to his death from a cliff after following a young human child who was later killed by the royal guard for causing the death of the prince . and is the one to lead frisk to the surface.

•Sans the mechanic, the slightly shy yet caring skeleton that takes frisk in , is the younger brother, Does machines , very bashful and easily a nervous wreck, sucks at puns and doesn’t get jokes. doesn’t have many friends due to being socially awkward , is the second monster that frisk befriends , Even going to a friend in order to get a monster disguise made for them As he is good friends with Mettaton.

•Papyrus the brave , ill tempered and overprotective older sibling of Sans , who worries about their safety after the human is brought into there home. He cares deeply for his brother and sooner or later the human. is known to care for others before his own safety as he has aided many monsters on the surface also He can actually cook really good food . and comes off similar to a tsundere and just you friendly neighborhood guy who just wants to do the right thing. will protect his brother at all costs.

•Gaster the Ressearcher , the head lab ressearcher on the surface , gaster is fascinated with human culture and biology , being amazed by frisk in general , even taking notes about them . is a huge dork and is easily the most intrigued about frisk. has written “The Biology of monsters”, “Do humans have souls?” , and “ Monsters vs humans.”

•Grillby the bartender , Slick , wise cracking and cool , Grillby is the local bartender , coming up with crazy conditions of drinks and smoothies that he claims will “ Rock your socks off.” a water elemental who came from a water elemental father and fire elemental mother , claiming that his mother picked the name grillby even before he was born . is loved by everyone in town and is pretty chill. best smoothie is his frostberry smoothie.

•Muffet the baker , a sweet and caring spider who is the second to figure out the brothers were hiding a human with them , she cares deeply for any child and knows there is something special about frisk. sure she gets annoyed if you step on a spider but that’s ok , she knows you didn’t do it on purpose. will tend to frisk like a guardian as she has had previous experience with taking care of children , she did babysit the kings son.

•Napstsblook the Prideful , this ghost has come out of his shell ! who just wants to make some noise and P A R T Y!! loving to make remixes of songs and be the Dj of any party ! he along with mettaton were the first to discover that the skele bros were hiding a human and promised to keep it a secret.

•mettaton the generous, He doesn’t want the fame or fortune , all he wants to do is show some fashion! need some new clothes? he’ll be there to fix you up something new and flashy! at first glance he may seem shy and quiet but when you mention fashion or have torn clothes, he will be all over your case! making clothes free of charge just for you! he’s the most generous monster anyone would meet on the surface. he lives with his cousin napstsblook and is the first along with napstabloo to discover that the skele bros are hiding a human . He even fashioned their monster disguise for them . and just adores this child.

Undertale-Napstablook:

- They kind of like that you’re short. They can hover over you. & you look…so cute…close up & from a distance.

- If they could they would pick you up…maybe carry you. If you wanted. But probably not. Their headphones would get in the way, wouldn’t they? Oh…yeah.

Underswap-Napstaton/Napstablook:

- Shortstack! M&M Mini’s! Bitty Baby!! You get a lot of sometimes cute, sometimes irritating nicknames. He’s just…trying to compliment you. Maybe. Or maybe he’s just doing it because he loves how cute your pout looks.

- Prepare to be lifted, constantly. You’re on his shoulder, being thrown through the air, being balanced on one hand while he plays his records with the other. It’s wild, hope you’ve got health insurance.
