ARKHELIOS - A murder mystery and sci-fi scripted hood

It’s here!! It’s all finally here! An original, unique hood that resulted as the first collab between Red (simstate) and Nappe (nappe-plays-the-sims).

“Founded by Abraham Helios and disillusioned citizens protesting laws limiting freedom of expression (or freedom of partying) ARKHELIOS is embedded in the midst of nowhere between mountains no normal sim would dare climb. The community managed by itself up until the untimely death of Abraham. As succession is called into question and secrets unravel, will the inhabitants of ARKHELIOS be able to find peace again or plunge into chaos?”

What is Arkhelios? Arkhelios is a 10 household, 50+ sim story hood that revolves over the founder, Abraham Helios, being suddenly murdered! Find out who the killer is and look into all the drama and storylines of all the families!

What does Arkhelios require and is it CC-Free? Arkhelios was created with the Ultimate Collection in mind, so you’ll need all EPs and SPs for everyone to work as advertised. Arkhelios does come with some CC, but it’s purely for lore reasons and it’s only a little bit!

How long does Arkhelios take to complete? We recommend you play through all the households in this playing order. Please note that YOU ONLY NEED TO PLAY THEM for 2-3 DAYS at a time to solve the main mystery, no need for full rounds!

Notes: Certain behavior changing mods like Story Progression can cause a lot reset, which will break the scripted events. In that case, I recommend taking out SP to finish the main story, and then putting it back in once you’ve completed the story :D

Fröja glides through life with the grace of a goddess and the fiery spirit of a warrior. With an intuition so strong it may as well be future vision, she has an intensity that most cannot handle. If you think you're an exception, you probably aren't. When not attending metal concerts or going on macabre graveyard tours she enjoys hanji crafting and playing nyckelharpa.

Adán believes freedom means cranking up the fuel until his car roars like a jet engine—emissions and safety standards be damned. To him, fuel efficiency is just government overreach and anti-innovation, stifling his vision of a high-octane, pollutant-spewing automotive future. He is now running for city council aiming to destroy the EPA and “other scientific elitists” who try to “limit his right to modify.”

Her favorite things are caviar, lobster rolls and French fries with lots of ketchup.

Whatever his origin is, Xithernán is equal parts demon, fairy, dragon, and vampire, like a supernatural buffet that couldn’t pick just one entrée. Despite his dangerous appearance, he enjoys some "normal" human things, including but not limited to stand-up-comedy, drag shows, and blood pudding.

Fancy is like a porcelain doll left on the windowsill too long: pastel, pristine, and just unsettling enough to make you wonder if she moves when you're not looking. She has a habit of staring intently at people without blinking when she's lost in thought or observing them. In her free time she enjoys crafting small, strange "gifts". Expect them to be accompanied by tiny notes with cryptic sayings that make you feel as if you've been cursed.

Onyx is a witch-politician with the public relations finesse of a flaming dumpster rolling downhill into a fireworks factory. Throwing glitter at debate opponents and declaring them "banished to the sparkle realm", performing sacrificial rituals to appease the "God of Wi-Fi", having threesomes with zombies, trying to summon the spirit of a “traffic light deity” to curse her ex - the list is almost as long as her rap sheet. Unshaken by scandals that would obliterate lesser mortals, Onyx's unflinching confidence is enviable, though the fact that she has any power at all in town - and continues to get votes - is frightening.

Silvanus is a master in the art of grifting—always "in need" of gifts to keep his magical powers charged, then disappears without giving the promised blessings. Under the glow of the full moon his charm is blinding, but his powers seem to be limited to lighting up your wallet while he stockpiles a flashy hoard of shiny junk. Or it's just the only thing he chooses to use them for.

She claims to be the “World's First 1/8th Demon on Reality TV”, although no DNA evidence for this exists.
