i've watched csi, it's okay. have you tried ncis? it's kind of similar, crime scenes etc, and i really love it :3

the big bang theory has a bit too much sexism, homophobia and gender role stuff for my taste, science jokes are nice, but as a mathematician and a fellow, uh, enthusiastic, i don't like that it's too much of... laughing at the nerds, not with the nerds.

haha, and yes, hannibal is pretty dark but cannibal jokes, dogs and the hannibal fandom makes it still bearable

Jim was in the middle of his kitchen, cooking lunch and not even paying half of his attention to the television broadcasting the news in the corner of the room when it happened.

He turned around to stare with wide eyes at the screen when they pronounced the words “giant tsunami in Atlantis” and the carrot he had been peeling, along with the knife, fell from his hands as he watched through his television as a huge wave swallowed the entire eastern coast of Atlantis.

Running to his television, as if watching it from up close would make a difference, he had a brief flashback of the last time he had been on one of those beaches – he could still feel with perfect clarity Namor’s cold hand in his as the prince got down on one knee, looked up into his eyes with a soft smile and started talking about the day he had met Jim, all those years ago, how it had been love at first sight, how their seven years together were the best years of his life, and would Jim please marry him?

“Please no,” he murmured at his television screen as his phone in the back pocket of his jeans started vibrating.

1. I love how you edited out the part where you call me white without knowing shit :)

2. Maybe it’s the language barrier talking but I don’t see how saying “all the racists people in France” is me calling you a racist, but whatever.

3. Since you assumed shit about me, I’m gonna do the same and assume that you’re American, or whatever else. I have a feeling you’re not European, because I feel like the issue we have in France exists in other European countries.

Anyway, here’s the thing. Most of these players that you are all calling African are first or second generation immigrants, and it’s a constant struggle in France because people keep calling them “African” or “Nigerian” or “Algerian” or wherever their parents are from, and they constantly have to fight for their identity as French persons. That’s why, while I understand what this tweet wants to do, it does it in the absolute worst way. Call them black and brown, this is not an insult in France to refer to their skin color, but don’t call them African because by doing this, you use the same language and logic as the racists who try to strip them from their idendity as French people.
