EVERYTIME, ANYPLACE - Recently in Celebrityville, known famous person A. Person has confounded fans and observers alike by engaging in an inconceivable process known as "dying". Nobody was prepared for such an occurrence.

Person was known to have one of many health complications, which historically almost never cause anything bad to happen, and lived until the age of ninety-bleven, which makes this especially sad, because humans usually live to almost four-fifths of that length of time.

One fan, who has never personally met Person and can't remember a single one of his roles offhand, called Person's death "heartbreaking", and within seconds, added his picture to the already-full heaven meme.

According to the tone of the responses of people, the tragedy is heightened because this is the first time in history that anybody has ever died. Person was later memorialized in a ceremony mentioning a lot of people, and buried in a very full place.

The event was made a little less surprising by the fact that the death happened to an Earthling, a species who is notoriously unfamiliar with the idea of mortality salience. One can only hope they learn to correct this memory lapse in time for galactic auditions.

Some bands don't have the most obvious candidates for attempting to work on their own stuff. I mean, Paul Webb of Talk Talk didn't really seem like a type of guy who would've had an interesting solo career. I guessed he might have ended up as a great sideman – he actually was that for a while –, though his platters under the Rustin Man moniker remain quite surprising. To be honest, they sort of remind of an alternative path David Bowie – I thought the reviews exaggerate the comparison to his vocals, but no – might have taken. Webb as Man cosplays Bowie from the 60's who would've stopped for a lengthy break until the 90's and who would've decided then to collaborate with the electronica musicians of the latter period after one of their drug binges.

i don’t know if i’d call it out of step, i think she’s a mostly deeply kind person who can be Particular and stuck in her ways

but honestly don’t we all know just how we like our sandwich? wouldn’t it be better to say what you’d prefer at the beginning than be dissatisfied with your meal and waste the food? wouldn’t it be more disrespectful to not finish the meal your host graciously prepared for you?

okay i’m calm again about the sandwich scene but really she was raised by a military man and she’s a older single woman in a world that hates older single women, i mean she won’t even be able to have her own damn bank account until 1970-something and she’s Still financially independent and living comfortably Alone

i do think it all fits together pretty well

this miss higgins story reminds me of a moment a season or two ago, there’s this young teenage couple who want to keep their baby but the mother/grandmother arranges for an adoption

and there’s this horrible moment where they’re taking the baby away from these screaming crying sixteen year old kids

and miss higgins stops the adoption worker to carefully snip off the baby’s name bracelet to give back to the parents so they will always keep a piece of their baby with the name they chose for him and i just

can’t stop thinking about young millicent higgins and the name she chose for her son and the way she kept it close to her heart all these years because his name was the only part of him she was allowed to keep
