And I wasn’t planning on drawing anything for Nanbaka Week yet, but if day 1 is already about our favorite characters, you bet your arse over it I’m drawing my chocolate mint boy, Rokuriki! XD I’ve really, REALLY grown fond of him. I always have a soft spot for underappreciated characters, and I just love his personality, his design and the dynamics he has with his brothers. He’s such a sweetheart too, omg.

Though to be honest, I love pretty much all of the characters. Just didn’t have time to draw all of them. (o´ω｀o) (Except Elf. I’mma punch him.)

Writing scenes between Hajime and Seitarou without romance is challenging for me, but it’s also fascinating. Hajime being a dad friend to Seitarou, and only Seitarou, is way too cute. :3

Nanbaka OC

Name: Kirashi Age: 23 Nationality: Japan Blood Type: AB Gender: Male Former Job: Hitman Inmate: 4 Building: 3 Favorite Food: Ramen Hobby: Reading

Backstory After Kirashi’s birth, his parents gave him away to a hitman organization called Red Target that was searching for new recruits at that time. Since Kirashi’s parents were poor they accepted the money offer of the organization in exchange for their child, they hoped that he would have a better life than the one he would’ve had with them. So without ever having any information about his parents Kirashi was raised and trained by the organization. Red Target’s recruits are branded by the number that are given to them, each hitman has his number tattooed on the back of their neck and are only known by their number. That’s how Kirashi got his name Kira (Killer), shi (four).

After a failed mission caused by one of his partners, Kirashi was sent to prison were he escaped many times until he got into Nanba Prison where he currently has to deal with the problems of the pretty boys in buiding 3. Personality Since Kirashi was raised by Red Target, he was taught not to feel or have any emotions and feelings, which is why he is a hardcore kuudere. He also has a hard time understanding emotions of other people:  Why are they crying, why are they angry?  During his time in Nanba he slowely starts to develop feelings and understands emotions, but that will take A LOT of time. ＾ω＾ Other than that he devotes himself to protect his friends from harm and tries to deal with their very colorful personalities (even though he doesn’t understand them) and their idiocity.

Skills Kirashi has a wide knowledge of techniques in combat, especially with weapons.

XD Warnings (if there are any):  Summary: Rock and nico get a sugar high and decide to take Jyugo and Uno on a trip to the game room in the middle of the night, but they didn't anticipate it to be such a frightening time--! *I like making the summary cheesy lol* Many parts, because I don’t have to draw, but I have time to type XD

Oh how the night drew out slowly. It was dark and the desert from dinner that night had kept cell 13 ‘most wide awake with the sugar rush! Rock and Nico felt it worst of all, they had ate the most, and this gave them a rich idea.

“Jyugo”, Rock said in a whispered tone, though his volume was the same. He knew no difference.

“Jyugo-kun!” Nico spoke the same way.

“Hm?” Jyugo rolled his head to meet his cellmate, who was pushing conversation far too early in the morning (or late in the night, he knew not which it was). He was just trying to fight his own rush.                                                                                                                         “Let’s go to the game room!” Rock exclaimed.                                                     

“Why?” Uno asked from the other side of Jyugo. His hair was the epitome of “bed head”. Tangled, hanging, and lose in his face. “Just try to sleep, like normal people”. Uno pushed a lock of hair from his eyes.

“We can’t!” Nico shouted.

“We tried.”

“I feel like the insomniac protagonist from that manga!”

“Quiet Nico!” Uno warned. “You’ll get Yamato going.”

“I can’t sleep either,” Jyugo sadly admitted. “Let’s go.” He uncovered himself and slowly stood up.

“Forget it! I’m staying right here.” Uno pulled his blanket up over his sleepless head.

“You’re going to stay in the cell by yourself? At night?” Jyugo questioned him.

“What’s my other option? Wander the prison at night? Have Hajime yell at us from the shadows or sneak up and grab me from the shadows?”

Well Uno made up his mind when his three friends exited the cell and waited for him to call out to them as they stood just outside the door. Jyugo let him out and they made their way to the game room, Nico mesmerized by the Halloween decorations that he had not yet seen. Black Bats hung on the wall with black and orange garland and purple string lights.

“Ahhhhhhhhh! They look so kawaii!” 

“Do the Japanese even celebrate Halloween,” Rock began. “Or does this prison just celebrate all holidays?”

“Not normally.” Said Jyugo, their personal Japanese expert. “But It’s getting more popular here.”

“I think you have something going with that ‘celebrating all holidays’ thing though,” Uno told him, fighting to not notice the dismal and forlorn atmoshpere of the empty halls. “Remember that small Christmas tree in the break room last year?”

“We made it!” Nico exclaimed in excitement as he saw the door for the game room.

“Shhhhhh,” the other three in unison. Jyugo opened it, taking in how dismal it appeared with all of the lights off.

Rock and Uno walked over to the billiards table and Uno took a seat on it while Nico took great interest in a light-up pumpkin near the entrance. 

“Brilliant idea, Rock. Bring us all the way out here when all the games are too loud to play without getting caught!”

“Nu-uh!” Rock protested. “We can play mahjong or something, you love that game. You might even win since building 5′s supervisor isn’t here to beat you.”

“I almost had him yesterday!” He jumped up. “But he’s tired of me asking him to play.”

“Now who’s being loud, Uno?” Jyugo asked him

“Hey! Uno-kun!” Nico called.

“What?” He turned around to find Nico with the pumpkin on his head.

“KYAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!” Uno fled the room screaming.

“Nico?” Rock questioned.

“It’s stuck,” he answered. “I wanted him to help get it off.”

“Why did you put it on your head?”

“It’s a face, I though it would be a fun mask.” Rock pulled the plastic jack-o-lantern off of small Nico’s head.

“Why didn’t Jyugo stop you? Hey Jyugo! Jyu-” Rock looked around the empty room only to observe that Jyugo was gone too!

Nanba week! Day # 1: Favorite character 💚Elf💚 What? I love this little shit(?

Why do I like this character so much? For a few simple reasons:

💚His design is cute. 1920’s Pretty German Boy♡

💚And his “personality” as a psychopath is very curious. From my point of view, Elf is just someone else’s doll. He does not have self-consciousness, he only does what they order to him(which he enjoys in the end)Like, he only lives for his boss’s purposes. The reason why he is on the side of unscrupulous scientists is because they give him the permission to make others miserable with insane human experiments. “These experiments are for the sake of science’s progress ” He says, but I think he is only involved in this to unleash his psychopathic sadistic things. Elf describes a Jyugo as “a cold, despicable, arrogant and cruel specimen” but if you ask me, that is Elf’s description.

💚Elf himself is interesting because his backstory and character is almost unknown. Also i question myself of whether he is human or not. I bet he is some kind of zombie? Maybe?

30 day seiyuu challenge Week 2

Hello~ This post is for the 2nd week of the ongoing seiyuu challenge (or should I say Seiyuu appreciation?)

Due to the nature of questions, there might be a bunch of minor spoilers here (in GIF or video form) for various anime (like Robotics;Notes, Nanbaka, Assassination Classroom, Danshi Koukouse no Nichijou, Psycho-pass 3, Kuroko no Basuke, Tada-kun wa Koi Wo Shinai, etc).  If you absolutely hate spoilers, you may want to skip or proceed with caution.

If you don't particularly care about minor spoilers and have nothing better to do, you are most welcome to take a plunge in this long post filled with my opinions and fangirling.    

8. Seiyuu with most impressive range (character types)

Fukuyama Jun

I was debating whether I should swap my answers for number 7 and 8.  Ishida Akira and Fukuyama Jun both have impressive ranges in terms of pitch and character types.  I just decided to go with my original answers.

You can tell that he is an experienced voice actor.^^  He has a variety of characters that'll make you go: "Wait, that was HIM?"  "How can these two characters have the same voice actor?!"

I remember laughing so hard when I learned that Kazuma's(Noragami) seiyuu is the same as Lelouch's(Code Geass)…and then I saw Assassination Classroom.

Now I don't get too shocked.  My reactions are more on the lines of…"Oh? Cool! As expected of Fukuyama Jun.”

9. Seiyuu with best character singing voice

Toyonaga Toshiyuki

Toyonaga Toshiyuki already has a nice singing voice.  It is even more amazing that he can sing in different voices.  

It's no surprise if a seiyuu can sing well.  Sometimes, though, in character songs, I tend to hear the seiyuu rather than the character.  [Hmm…I can't find the right words to explain this…It is like…Say for example I listened to Seiyuu A's character songs from various anime, it would sound like it came from the same person--which is understandable, since it is much harder to voice act while singing (Don't get me wrong please, I'm not trying to criticizes other seiyuus.  I'm just trying to show better what I admire about Toyonaga-san.  I'm also no authority on voice acting/singing.)]

What makes Toyonaga Toshiyuki's singing special is that even when singing, his characters sound different from each other.  Other seiyuus are able to do this too, but I think that Toyonaga Toshiyuki's range is much wider.  

Note: I do have a video compilation of Toyonaga Toshiyuki's character songs, but it might take me a while to post it.  Stay tuned~

   10. Seiyuu with best inside voice

I couldn't think of the right word then, but what I meant was inner monologue.

THIS IS just one of the reasons  WHY:

This is just a fraction of his voice acting prowess.  But I just love the contrast between the character's inside voice and speaking voice.

11. Seiyuu with best drama/ crying

Nakamura Yuuchi

When his character cries, you'll want to cry to.  Personally, I don’t react much when watching anime (I usually watch with someone else).  But Nakamura Yuuchi's powers are too strong. And it's not even the strong emotional outbursts/bawling yet.  

Maybe the reason why it's so effective is because he usually gets casted as a tough character.  So when his character cries, you know that it’s really serious.

How can he express so much sadness with minimal crying noises?

12. Seiyuu with best laugh

I know some seiyuu are known for their unique, contagious laughter (like Shimono Hiro).  I decided to focus on voice acting laughter^^

I never gave much thought to how much information about a character’s personality is communicated just by the way he laughs.  Seiyuus are amazing. 

Kakihara Tetsuya

His character laughs are just lighthearted, pleasant to listen to AND contagious. even when it’s supposed to be annoying  

He also does great creepy evil laughs.

Special mention: Nakamura Yuuchi

His laughs sound different for each character, and they never sound awkward.

13. Seiyuu with best scream

Kimura Ryohei

Similar to Okamoto Nobuhiko, Kimura Ryohei's screams sound controlled and real.  Plus, he also delivers the necessary emotions.

Can we please appreciate how Kimura Ryohei delivered this scream of shock and anguish? (in Robotics;Notes)

I like how “carefully measured” his screams/shouts/miscellaneous noises sound.  No matter how loud/emotional, it doesn't hurt my eardrums.  He is so good in controlling the intensity of his voice.

PS. His voice sounds really good when you listen through headphones.

Special mention: Uemura Yuuto

Impressive performance as Yuliy Jirov, Jyugo, and Atsushi Nakajima.  (He is really good with calm characters that are part beast :P) 

14. Seiyuu with best English

Miyano Mamoru

It is expected that seiyuus who spent years outside Japan would have much better English pronunciation (seiyuus like Ayumu Murase, Hino Satoshi, Wataru Komada etc).  But I chose Miyano Mamoru for biased other reasons.

For a non-native English speaker, Mamo-chan's English is pretty good.  It's not perfect, but it does sound that much effort was put behind it.   Have you heard him speak English as Asano Gakushu (in Ansatsu Kyoushitsu, the sports festival episode)?  That really got my attention.

Or as Rin Matsuoka in Free! Eternal Summer? 

Please appreciate his clear pronunciations and proper pauses.

And he also knows enough English that he can intentionally sound bad at it.

Hello! Nice to meet who evers reading this, I'vebeen roleplaying for Abooout 7-8 years now, here are my Roleplaying rules, info, fandoms and genres.

◇Rules

NO one liners OR illiterate. Sorry it's just not for me. I do Semi-lit or Literate, I can even do adv lit! Though Please also don't use asterisks or script when roleplaying.

When roleplaying a fandom, Must be able to at least Roleplay as half of the cast or be open to switch/take turns playing cannon characters.

I also don't do just Cannon characters and if we are only doing Oc's, please give me at least a bio for one character (they don't have to be long I just want a general idea of you're character.) and have a plot in mind please.

The plot itself dosen't have to be fully fleshed out-I just want a genral idea. But dosen't mean we can't make up one together! I absoloutly love brainstorming with others.

I love shipping! I'm a huge sucker for romance and I am a multi-shipper! I'll ship almost everything except toxic/abusive ships, incest, big age gap, etc.

Also I mostly do Oc x Cannon but I'm also ok with Oc x Oc and Cannon x Cannon.

I'm always up for self inserts in rps too!(just please don't make them radically overpowered.) Don't be afraid to ask.

I also do Doubling in Roleplays!

Please don't give me a way overpowered oc who dosen't have any weaknesses to speak of. No perfectly perfect ocs either please.

I absoloutly LOVE crossovers, either Au crossovers or characters from diferent series meet another. I find it interesting, just please maie it that it makes sense.

I am very open to Aus, especially romance couple aus like Mermaid x Human or Celebrity x Non-famous aus. This would be the only exception to not having to Roleplay different cannon characters.

Communication is key! Please don't leave me hanging for MONTH without telling me otherwise! I understand we all have a life out of the screen, but also if you feel things are going slow or anything please tell me and we can brainstorm together.

But hey if you don't want to Rp anymore or lose interest thats alright! I'm not going to guilt you or be angry, just tell me and we can end it! Just DON'T ignore me. Say something and we can end it.

While I usually am active please be a bit patiant, I do havea life outside the screen, including College, other Roleplays and sometimes I just have bad days or I'm sick and need a break from everyrhing.

I also have a bad memory and lose track so if I don't reply in over a week please remind me.
