A former professional shogi player (7th dan), Eisaku’s popularity and success managed to make his rural hometown a place of interest for tourists- Naturally, they greatly desired for him to win the Meijin title.

Unfortunately, during a celebratory party for a fellow pro, he assaulted the current Ryūō for unknown reasons and was stripped of his ranking. Turning to alcohol after being publicly shamed, he eventually became a part of Japan’s growing homeless population.

He eventually was able to use his Quirk to become an information broker of sorts, selling his skills to the highest bidder or best offer put on the table in exchange.

The only people he feels indebted towards are Giran and Twice, who welcomed him into their network of various underworld personalities.

Quirk: Mind Palace Eisaku can create a memory palace- A method of memory enhancement using visualization to organize and recall information he’s learned over the course of his lifetime. He seems to have a limited capacity for stored knowledge, meaning in order to create space for new information, other information must be discarded and forgotten.

The Fandom Post is reporting that Hulu will begin streaming the English dub of the Platinum End manga on April 7, 2022. Platinum End Anime Adds Toshiyuki Morikawa, Ai Kayano to Cast

  Two more cast members have been added to the Platinum End anime, based on the manga by Death Note duo Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata. The latest update has veteran voice actor Toshiyuki Morikawa getting in on the adaptation as god candidate Nanato Mukaido along with Ai Kayano as the angel Baret.

    The TV anime for Platinum End is scheduled to premiere this fall on TBS in Japan. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind director Hideya Takahashi is leading the series at anime studio Signal.MD.

  Platinum End finished its serialization in Shueisha's Jump Square magazine in January 2021. The series is being released in English by Viz Media, which describes the series like so:

  Just when it looked like the god candidates might come to an agreement, one of them is suddenly assassinated. Now Professor Yoneda seems to be in control of the entire god selection process. Will the remaining candidates yield to Yoneda’s desire to rid humanity of fake gods, or does Mirai have a different plan in mind…?

Responsável pelo extremamente popular manga da Shonen Jump Hikaru no Go, que ganhou o prémio cultural Tezuka Osamu na categoria Shinsei (“Revelação”), em 2003, o prémio de Mangá da Shogakukan, em 2000 e o Eagle Award.
