My mom & I had lunch with my grandma & her friends today & watching them still going out together, having fun, talking shit & reminiscing about old days made me really excited to grow old
#one of them was 90!!!!#and she was still driving her car never had an accident & ever since her husband died#she’s been taking herself on dates & just having fun#I hope I have the privilege to turn 90 & still go out with my friends for lunch#I also took a shot with one of them because no one else would & she was so happy she invited me to join them again next week#so we can drink another shot together hahahah#nana news 🗞️

I had the most god-awful day today but I’m home in my new pjs & ready to devour my sour gummy cherries & read my second spooky season tbr book & maybe I won’t walk into the ocean after all
#well it was a shit day until 3pm then I met an old uni friend for coffee#my train was over an hour late & I just barely made it to work on time#but barely made it to work means you’re already too late bc there are like a thousand things you have to do#& if it’s a stressful day (like today) you barely get any time to do the things you’re supposed to do unless you do them in the morning#& it was SO hectic I didn’t eat until 3pm#also arrived at work looking like a wet rat bc it’s so windy my umbrella was fucking useless#also I don’t live near the ocean so that’s not even an option#nana news 🗞️
