Eyebrows furrowed as you scan the various cubes displayed on the screen of your phone. Where the hell do the last two sevens go? You think to yourself, as Namjoon lets out his twentieth sigh of the evening.

Glancing up from your sprawl on his sofa, you note that he hasn’t moved much since the last time. Headphones on, dark hair pushed back by them like a headband, several of his silver strands catching in the dim studio lighting.

“Joona?” You call, eyes and focus going back to your frustrating game of sudoku.

Suddenly Namjoon pushes away from his desk, tossing the headphones onto the abandoned keyboard and spinning around to face you. 

“It’s not working, I’ll just take you home.”

He sighs, again. He leaned forward to brace his elbows on his knees and cupped his face in his hands. 

“Okay, let me go to pee first.”

Tossing your phone onto the couch you stand to slip past Namjoon to escape to the bathroom. 

He catches your waist suddenly, “Wait, can you-can we...”

Namjoon looks up at you with tense eyes, his jaw clenched in a way that gets you worked up.

“Can we what Namjoona?”

You laugh lightly, stepping between his open knees.

Namjoon tips his head back to look up at you through lidded eyes, his lips parting to let out a breath as your fingers move to grasp his jaw.

“You know what.”

Namjoon’s hands are drifting up your joggers with purpose, hands squeezing your thighs as he ascends to cup your ass. 

Biting back your smile, you dig your thumb under his jawbone to angle his face toward yours as you dip to brush your lips over his.

“I don’t think I do, Namjoon.”

He lets out a growl snatching you down into his lap, “you can pee after I’m done with you.” 

“But it’s going to..." You huff as he settles you in his lap, setting your back against his chest.

“I know.”

Namjoon begins to shuffle off your pants and pulls himself out of his, fumbling for a condom in his jacket pocket that's hanging out the back of the chair. Once the condom is on, he's thrusting up into you, before you’re prepped.

You cry out at the smarting, pleasurable feel of his girth opening you so intimately. Namjoon swallows your cries as he pulls your mouth to his for a kiss 

“I’m sorry baby, I just need this”

Laying back on his chest you roll your hips back and forth with a slight flex of your ass you’re able to pull him out and back in with a little bounce. Joon groans. Hands tightening on your body.

Hello anon,

I know I've been gone from here a while, and I understand why some people might think that means I stopped caring, stopped loving jikook, but honestly, I never did. I supported every single solo release. i just wasn’t posting.

Life got really overwhelming, and I needed space… not from bts, but from constantly being online. it didn’t feel right to force myself to keep up with everything on tumblr when i was mentally and emotionally drained. But I never left them. Sure, i might have not watched jikook's docu but I made time to watch other BTS content on youtube. (Jhope's and Jin especially)

I still remember the way namjoon’s indigo completely destroyed me. Wildflower and Closer are my top 2 songs on spotify till today. What being a fan is for me it's not always loud or constant, but it's deep. it’s personal.

I've done a lot of growing these past two years. I used to react fast, let negativity get to me, and fall into drama or rage-bait without thinking twice. I felt this pressure to be constantly online, constantly defending or proving something, and it just drained me. So I took a step back. Not just from tumblr, but from everything that made me feel like I had to stay in survival mode. Now, I protect my peace, and be okay with being misunderstood sometimes. And most importantly, I don’t feel the need to prove my love for something that’s always lived in me.

So yeah, I may have gone quiet, and I’ll still be busy until the end of december but I’ve always been here in my own way. I’m easing back into posting when i can, not because i owe it to anyone, but because I miss it, and I miss the people here. And maybe someone out there needs to feel less alone through it, like i did when indigo came out.

So, thank you for noticing I’m back. I promise I never left 2018-forever To BTS! to this wonderful community! 🖤

Title: Golden Smoke Pt1

Pairing: Namjoon × reader

Description: Namjoon wanted to venture out into the reality that California has to give. Enjoying a few days at different parts of Los Angeles. And he ends up staying in a small city. Where he finds a girl during his evening walks painting in the middle of the street, cannabis in the air and the stillness of the world.

Namjoon wasn’t looking for anything.

That was the point of the weekend.

No rehearsals. No cameras. No tight schedule filled with fansigns, brand meetings, and 12-hour flights. Just a rental car, a playlist full of jazz and city pop, and Los Angeles glowing low and soft in the June sun.

He stayed in West Hollywood the first night. Santa Monica the second. But something about the polished chaos of LA’s big names made him itch to see the edges—where the city stops pretending and just breathes.

So he ended up in a small city.

A cheap Airbnb tucked between old stucco homes and tamale trucks, neighbors shouting across fences, music leaking from cracked windows. Here, everything moved slower. Realer. Namjoon walked more. Thought more. Wrote less, but meant more when he did.

It was during one of those walks—after the sun had kissed the horizon goodbye and left behind a sky smeared with pink and burnt orange—that when he saw you.

At first, it was the smoke that drew him in. Not like cigarette smoke. No—sweeter. Earthy. Dreamy. The kind that curled up into the sky like it knew secrets.

You were sitting on the edge of the concrete canal, barefoot, your shoes kicked off beside you, paint-stained fingers working across a canvas propped on your knees. Big hoodie. Hair a bit messy. The kind of girl who didn’t notice the world watching because you were too busy making one.

He stopped walking.

He should’ve moved on. You looked like you belonged to that moment too much to be interrupted.

But then you looked up.

Your eyes locked with his—heavy-lidded from the weed, but clear. Curious. You didn’t recognize him. That much was obvious. Or maybe you did, but you didn’t care.

That was rarer than gold.

“Want to sit?” you asked, voice low, rough around the edges like a song that hadn’t been mastered.

Namjoon hesitated, then nodded.

He sat beside you. Not too close. But close enough to see the details in your painting—brushstrokes capturing the sunset as it bled into the canal water. It wasn’t perfect. But it was alive.

“You paint often?” he asked.

“Only when the sky begs me to,” you said.

He smiled. “That sounds like something I’d write in a song.”

You turned to him then, squinting. “Are you a songwriter?”

He nodded. “Something like that.”

You didn’t ask his name. Didn’t ask where he was from, or what he was doing visiting this city. Instead, you passed him the joint.

He respectfully declined

The two sat in silence, one smoking and painting and the other enjoying the sunset. And when the light finally slipped away completely, and the sky turned a deep indigo, he glanced at your painting again.

“You captured it,” he said softly.

“Captured what?”

“The quiet.”

You smiled, half-lidded and soft. “Good. That’s all I ever want to keep.”

Namjoon left a few hours later—but not before scribbling something into the corner of your sketchpad when you weren’t looking. You didn’t find it until the next day.

“The quiet has a name. Yours.”

You looked up from the note, the smell of paint and sage still clinging to your sweater, wondering if maybe—just maybe—he’d come walking by again tonight.

that new york times article is not a coincidence. Nor is the timing of the documentary in cinemas shown in many places in the world. They are clearly making a campaign for the grammys for their golden boy.

and this made me laugh because we know that they will go to hell first than admit that their idol is favored by bsh and his solo career was orchestrated by sb. with all the label’s resources backing him up, how can he not achieve success?

Sacrifice? All the other members sacrificed their solo careers too given their military service 💁 these people doesn’t understand or most likely disregarding everything that had jk got a nomination or grammy win last year, he would not be at the military right now and would be on constant tours around the world.

and the other members solo career and their brand? All up in the air. These discussions are always met with scathing replies and abuse because many doesn’t want to admit that their OT7 or nothing bs is just like that, a big BS.

when jimin got that bb hot 100 #1, it was said that it would put the bts brand at stake so they had to counter measure it by making jk be another one to have it. If that is their logic, then what happened to the other members? Why weren’t they given the same support as jk to even out the playing field for all of them?

many will die first than admit that jk’s solo career has been in the works for years. they have been positioning him to be the breakout star in the band. Will it be jk and his fellow bts members as his back up dancers in the future? Fans are all convinced that the members are all ok with this, as if they don’t care about their own solo careers. Then care to explain the difference in promotion with Namjoon’s indigo and rpwp? He clearly negotiated with hybe for that promotion. And i will reiterate it again and again, the fandom has been failing NJ since the beginning and they are taking their anger out on jimin and his fans. Jhope’s difference in promotion with his first and second album is also noticeable.

i want to see how hobi and jin will promote their works since time is on their side. But will hybe be using their resources for them like they did with jk? The answer is as clear as no. With hybe’s financial situation right now, they can’t afford to do so. Or the better answer is, would bsh do it because he wants to? Hell, no.

i actually am glad that jin made friends with coldplay. They could and probably would help him to get more audience. Let’s see how it will play out for him.

Can’t wait for BTS to comeback. It will be interesting to see if it will be as like before or not. the army fandom? Nah. They are the maknae’s fandom, not already but they have been since the beginning they just don’t want to admit it hence they keep on gaslighting themselves 😂 I’ve mentioned before during the start of their solo career that each member should have their own fans and nobody listened because of the ot7 bs and solos are losers and they are not army. Well, look at it now. Who is the one with a thriving solo fandom that is putting in the works for their artist even if the odds are againts them? You know the answer.

Mini & Moni Music was... interesting, kind of concerning? We really know so little about the members - especially if you're like me and don't watch all the lives and documentaries, and read every book or interview. Even if I did all that, though, I wouldn't know much. The more honest they are, the more obvious it is they're "hiding" so much from us and how little we know them. This honesty unintentionally increases the disconnect between us and them, throwing every memory of them in a different light. A lot of the intimacy we feel/felt isn't real because, sometimes, when they look happy they're actually struggling while we enjoy ourselves and their "happiness".

The thing about RM for me is I've struggled to understand him, even if I probably have more in common with him than other members. The way he expresses himself is very opaque to me. I lack the sensibility, or context, I guess, to understand his thought process.

This special content between Jimin and Namjoon was a bit sad. RM doesn't seem happy. Every year, I feel like he reveals that he wasn't happy in the previous year. Has there been any year where Namjoon didn't suddenly reveal he'd been struggling? Because last year he made it seem as if he'd been doing pretty well, and I guess he was better at some point, while working on RPWP, but he'd been having a really rough time. Hearing him say he had to distance himself from BTS in order to heal (I think in 2023, after Indigo, but also applies to chapter 2 in general?) and Jimin saying the members thought he liked them less now... was sad.

RM really had(s) been struggling with the group. I know Hobi really wanted a chance to do something solo, but Festa dinner still feels mostly like it was brought on by Namjoon. I'm pretty sure Jungkook, Jimin, Jin, Suga, and V would've been fine carrying on with group activities with little to no solo activities, and Hobi only wanted a chance to do something different, not necessarily a big break from the group (I think; I haven't watched a lot of chapter 2 solo content, maybe I'm wrong). But RM was truly "done", to the point where the members felt him pulling away from them... RM popping up during one of Jungkook's live and their whole interaction kind of takes on a new meaning. Jungkook had been really happy to talk to Namjoon, and Namjoon said he missed Jungkook and that they needed to hang out. At the time maybe RM had already created distance between himself and the members so they missed each other a lot and there was a kind of uncertainty in their relationship.

I believe in BTS, but this content has made RM, the leader, seem the least excited about BTS, which may be untrue - contradictory and conflicted feelings can coexist. I kind of became concerned about how they'll return as a group (and what that will sound like...) if RM just looks so burnt out and even regretful about many things in their past (like his seriousness before). I know that each member struggled a lot, and for every hard moment there is a good one RM remembers, but I hope that when he comes back he learns how to enjoy being in the group again (or maybe for the first time; maybe he never really knew how to love the group without feeling weighted down by it). Like he says, RM speaks for the group. Most of Festa seems like him speaking for the group while the group itself didn't share his feelings completely but wanted to support him. It's ironic because RM said he feared that the group only represented his thoughts and not the group's, but I really want to know what the other members think. Suga, for example, has always blamed their hiatus on the enlistment, whereas Namjoon has made it clear that wasn't the main reason.

I don't know, I know the group has been through a lot, including the time they almost disbanded (I say almost, but how close were they, truly? Thinking heavily about something and having the intention of doing it are quite different), but this made me lose confidence in the group a bit, at least in RM. In the eyes of the members he's equated to BTS, but it seems like he's drifted apart from them. That's life, but as a fan it was hard to hear. Maybe they all feel the same, and I'm putting it all on Namjoon... This conversation with Jimin was very negative, but that's not the whole truth, and I shouldn't forget that.

I Was looking through these things the members said there is more but i didn't want to send everything from every member, and it made me think again about how these words tend to be completely ignored and forgotten by some stans who are so confident that the group is not a priority for the members or that the reunion is not happening or that it means nothing and i wonder why some people prefer to believe their own conspiracy analysis over what people they stan (even if it's a member) say ?????

this is a Genuine question i'm Confused !

First of all and in all honesty i also tend to forget about these words because in the space i am in it doesn't get brought up so i'll give you that.

I know it can be instrumentalized at times by armys to shape a certain narrative with ill intentions espeically for certain members, but tbh in the same way other stans invisiblize this and don't give it space at all to be entertained and don't take the time to even listen. I mean at the end of the day it's up for everyone if they want to believe what the members say or not, or if they prefer going down the analysis route and conspiracy theories based on clues they gather but personally i don't think these words don't hold no meaning either. And i think at times it's better to be in a middle ground where you accept hearing all these angles and perspectives instead of closing your mind onto one, omitting the rest and setting yourself up for possible frustration if what you made up in your head doesn't go exactly as planned.

I think that the group being a priority doesn't cancel out members also wanting to release solo stuff..i still don't know exactly how that will go in detail, even more for each one of them and i talked about this before but we'll see.

One is Love Yourself Answer version E, the one where they sit in the bubbles. I wanted this version for over two years now but it was never available and now I finally got it (i was so ready to order it on weverse) and I'm so happy 💜 it's so special to me because the first kpop albums I ever bought was bts Love Yourself Answer version F 😭💜. And since that day, I wanted the E version as well.

The other album is Namjoons Indigo. I'm currently collecting all the solo albums, and I'm only missing tae now (his albums are also never available 😔). Anywas Indigo. I have always been an Indigo girl. Like, don't get me wrong. RPWP is AMAZING ✨️ but something about Indigo just moves my heart in a way that I can't describe💜. So yeah, I bought it (finally), and it's Art. Literally Art.

I don't even know how to describe it, but the photo book🙏 Art. The poster Art. Just everything. It's like stuff that could go in a museum, which is guess is not surprising bc Namjoon made it. I don't even know what I want to say about the album. Other than that, it is art and needs to be put in a museum😭💜. Its just i idk i can't describe it.

It just screams "Namjoon" in the most perfect way possible, and I love it 💜💜

Tumblr anniversary

It's been TWO years since I chose to take up residence here on this hellsite/app.

Last year, when I posted about my Tumblr anniversary, Jungkook had just dropped his thirst trap birthday greeting to Jimin. And Yet to Come Busan had not happened yet. No one was enlisted yet. We had no idea that we were about to have our hearts ripped out by Jin's enlistment announcement.

My, what innocent babes we were.

So much has happened since last October other than the afore mentioned Yet to Come Busan concert and Jin's enlistment announcement.

We watched the members emotional sendoff to Jin in December. We watched them do it again for Hobi in April. We didn't see but we know Yoongi has begun his service. We don't need to see it. We are pretty certain within the next two months we will be sending another 2 or 3 or maybe even the rest of them off to do theirs as well.

We got The Astronaut, Dreamers, Indigo, a Christmas song from Tae, Vibe, Face, D-Day (and a tour and I saw Yoongi!!), Angel Pt. 1 & 2, The Planet, another version of Jack-in-the-Box, Take Two, Seven, Layover, 3D and we anxiously anticipate Golden. What am I missing? More collabs that Namjoon did with others. We got so much music I can't remember it all.

We've seen the clothing come off of every member. Some more than others. But still. Chapter Two is not about taking their shirts off, as Tae said...yeah, whatever Tae... it is about transitioning to a more mature image including taking control of their professional and personal images, their bodies, their autonomy, their maturity and sexuality. And boy howdy...

We got a very complex and far-reaching BTS 10th Anniversary Festa celebration that took place across the world.

We got Kook Cooks, Flying Yoga, Wootteo, Suchwita, Namjoon on Big Brains and Many of them Sitting at the Same Table Talking (or whatever the name of that show was), Dior Jimin, Tiffany Jimin, Calvin Klein Jungkook, Valentino and NBA Yoongi, Louis Vuitton Hobi, Bottega Veneta Namjoon, Cartier and Celine Taehyung, dance challenges.

We inadvertently got Jungkook's TikTok through his own error and now we are pretty sure the other members INCLUDING JIMIN are lurking on all the soc med platforms.

We got so much Jungkook being himself. And we watched him go from being fine with his couch potato cushion existence to being Mr. World Traveler who can't stay in one place for more than a few days before he's off again to who knows where and adding to Jimin's list of things to fret over.

We got a nice quantity of sweet quality interaction of Jimin and Tae just yesterday. This healed me.

We have heard over and over how each member is anxiously excited to get back and hurry up and show us they still have it.

There has not been any lack of things to talk about. There has not been any lack of controversy. We've seen things we probably weren't meant to see and we've seen things that are dubious as to their authenticity and things that were obviously made for us to see.

Like one of those of flying bird flock murmurations, the fandom is shifting and changing, spreading out and coalescing and doing all this repeatedly as we navigate this period of time before they get back together in 2025.

I hope we don't run off the rails this next year and that we all can find some common ground so we can stand together at the threshold of 2025 in anticipation of their comeback.

And sooooo many more of you have chosen to follow my weird ramblings, rantings and odd posts. Thank you for taking time to give my blog any consideration.

Hi Peach! Sorry if this is a weird ask, but can you please explain why you bias the rapline? What is it about them that makes you like them? I understand could be many known and unknown factors for why, so maybe just tell one? Your post for RM recently made me wonder. Thank you.

They are the best at what they do.

Whatever it is they choose to do that is solely their work, I know I'm guaranteed to be listening to the best possible iteration of it. All three of them - Yoongi, Hoseok, and Namjoon - are easily some of the best musicians alive. In my opinion. Like, I just cannot hear the music they make and not stan. I engaged with BTS first and foremost for the music, and don't have it in me to ignore skill like what they've shown since debut.

One of the biggest reasons BTS is the biggest group in the world today is because of the peerless ability of their rapline. The best rappers and performers in k-pop are in BTS. BTS holds some of the top songwriters, producers, and choreographers within their group, and you find all three within the rapline. They fundamentally understand the assignment.

Take for example, a song like HUH?! and the brilliance that is SOPE's verses. Drill is a very tricky genre because the instrumentation and grim lyrical delivery are supposed to be equally weighted. And despite the numerous attempts by Korean artists to master it, less than a handful have and only after several tries. But Yoongi and Hoseok's first song in this style immediately is one of the best I've heard, period. One reason is because SOPE immediately show an understanding of one key feature in Drill: balance.

Contrasted to many other hip hop styles, in drill the violence is explicitly the point of the song, the instrumentation mimics a gun-down, and the way you’re supposed to show it is to allow the sparse but gritty beat breathe alongside lyrics that promise nothing but pain, violence and death. Said as matter of factly as possible. And my God the way Hobi did that on HUH?! gave me chills. Yoongi meanwhile just hacked away with no hesitation or concern like the animal he is.

It’s an excellent song that can hold its own against works by many American rappers, and SOPE made it. HUH?! is in the ranking of my top 20 tracks released in 2023, across all genres.

Snooze still makes constant rotation, Dawn, Amygdala, Haegeum, D-DAY, Life Goes On... I'm still streaming Yoongi’s album from top to bottom. Same with On the Street, Rush Hour, and Jack in the Box, same deal with Indigo and sometimes Sexy Nukim and Joon's other collabs. Like, these guys make music I actually look forward to listening to everyday, music that when it comes up on shuffle, a smile comes on my face.

With the BTS rapline, I just feel so certain and assured that the product will be of outstanding quality, practically every time.

I mean, the D-DAY tour still feels like a fever dream. It was the first solo tour by a BTS member, Yoongi's this time, and nearly every reviewer and professional critic has called it one of the best concert experiences they've had this decade. And anyone who themselves attended his concerts, can attest to this being true for them. Because the fact is, Min Yoongi is a consummate performer and one of the best storytellers of his generation.

These guys are just good. It's like there's a fire within them to express themselves so thoroughly through their craft. There's other things about them that I relate enough to, to feel so drawn to them that I bias them, but that right there is one reason.

My qualifications are that I’ve been listening to K-pop for 6 years, so I kinda know a lot. Also no hate to any of the artists mentioned, you can have your own opinions and I’ll have mine. -listens to the Best KDRAMA OST: of all time playlist and ranks them by instrumental

-she knows everything about every group (obvi) and knows which groups are unproblematic

-runs an undercover KPOPpredictions twitter account where all her visions go

-Loves groups mainly for lore/storyline purposes

-like TXT, BTS, ENHYPEN, ATEEZ, EXO, etc. she LOVES a good storyline

-does theories on her main stan blogs about what she believes the MVs mean for the overall story

-always has people commenting on her theories about how right she is.

-is also a K-pop dance/lifestlye influencer

-give her 10 minutes and she WILL know the entire dance-will upload and edit it almost instantly

-has been featured in KCON dream stages and has been able to dance alongside some of her fav groups

-Alice does try to get him away from the problematic side of K-pop and it does kinda work, but like quitting human blood it takes him some time

I always have these misgivings that throughout their career especially in their early years, jk has been touted as someone especial, the gifted one and (perhaps that is true, perhaps not) that may have affected their psyche to believe it until now. BH enforced that narrative and the fandom accepted it as truth, (plus you have the members themselves constantly praising him) also him being the maknae really tugged at the heartstrings of the fandom hence he is always given the leeway even if he makes mistakes. To everyone, whatever he puts out is acceptable and palatable for them and has to be hailed like it is a gift even if it is mediocre. To be fair, JK produces and writes really good songs. Still with you and Magic Shop were some of the songs that he wrote that i love till this day. So i miss those days when his creative juices were really flowing. I wonder if the pressure of being expected as the Golden one affected his mentality. 

In regards to Hybe/ BSH, what you want to do doesn’t matter. It his wants that takes precedence above anyone. If you want something, you have to negotiate your way according to his rules. I felt that is what had happened during Namjoon’s RPWP roll out. He got some tools that he didn’t with Indigo. We can only speculate what he had to negotiate with in order to get the promotion he had that time. It’s just too bad that the fandom did him dirty like they did with his first album. By extension, same with Hobi. 

Hybe does not support the members equally contrary to what they say. Lip service is one of their mastery. Those that deny it is purposefully being blind. I said it before, BTS, BH and ARMY grew together. So is their ego and superiority complex (BH and ARMY). The members try to be as genuine and grounded as they could given their status but it cannot be said about their company and fandom. Hence you see the issues with them both, fragmented from within and trying to salvage what they could to save face. 

Regardless,  i am looking forward to their compete return. Hobi will be back in a few weeks. Jin is doing his own thing which is really great. But what i’m most curious about is Jimin. Like how his time in the military affects him. Are we to see some changes or not? Plus the most i want to see is that, how he is going to navigate his solo career because he said before that he will do what he wants and will say what he couldn’t after his service is over.

What happened with JK's songwriting skills? I must admit I wonder if he didn't have some serious help with those songs, or if someone else wrote them entirely? If Jimin's contributions to songs went uncredited, it's equally possible JK was given more credit than he deserved. I can't figure that kid out. How did he go from writing meaningful songs to drinking, farting, folding his underwear, and falling asleep while millions watched? Is there another side to him we are unaware of?

I hope RM gets the last laugh. I may not love his singing, but I do appreciate his creativity. The videos he made for RPWP were really cool. I'd shell out money to see his documentary.

What's in store for Hobi post military? Is anyone watching Jin's show? I haven't watched any of it yet, but I'm glad he's doing something he enjoys. It gives me some hope for the others when they return.

I'm trying not to read too much into Jimin's silence since entering the military, but between that and his cryptic statements before he left, I'm really wondering what he has planned post MS. How will military life change him, if at all? I'm still praying for a solo contract with a different label.

It’s only been a few precious moments since you left Namjoon’s apartment. You’re washing the gouache on your hand off in the sink when you hear a knock at your door. It’s late, nearly midnight. There’s really only one person you can think of who would be knocking on your door this late, and the prospect has your heart picking up its pace. He seems to be doing that to you a lot lately, making you feel things you haven’t in a long time. It’s nice.

With hope simmering below your surface, you dry your hands and go to the door. A glance through the peephole has you smiling and patting at your dress to smooth out invisible wrinkles—just in case.

“Namjoo—“ You swing open the door, and he wraps you up in an embrace, lips fusing to yours, cutting off his name.

The taste of the sweet wine lingers in his mouth as he welcomes your tongue in to slide against his. “Stay with me tonight,” he pleads between fervent presses of his lips to yours.

“Yes,” you moan, eyes fluttering shut as he grips the backs of your thighs and picks you up. Your legs automatically wrap around his waist, dress sliding up to bunch around your hips.

Up this close, you can see his sheets are plum-colored satin, shining like glittering amethyst.

It’s the perfect atmosphere to learn more about the man you knew only as Apartment A just a few weeks ago. The more you uncover—the more colors you add to your palette—the more you want to keep peeling back the layers and soaking up what he has to offer.

Your cocktail dress becomes a dark puddle on the floor, splashed with accents of blue as your panties and bra join it. Namjoon looks at you, sprawled out on his bed, like you are a gift he can’t wait to sink his teeth into. The plain white t-shirt and khaki pants, lacking color like the canvas that once was blank and waiting in your living room across the hall, slide from his lean frame like poured paint to pool around his feet.

The bright pop of his white boxer briefs stands out against his deep, golden skin that’s made even darker by the purple lights. He’s standing before you like a conquering god. You reach for him, silently begging for him to lay claim to you.
