Overstimulation

TW: Mention of overstimulation, it doesn’t go into emotional detail.

It was easy, at least for Chuuya, to tell when Dazai was overstimulated.

His eyes would be darting every which way as if trying to figure out an escape route.

And he’d always be bobbing his leg up and down if they were seated.

So when Dazai was doing said things while they were exploring their hotel, Chuuya noticed.

And didn’t hesitate to help.

He gently put his hand on Dazai’s to draw his attention. “Osamu?” He called softly, so as to not overwhelm him further.

“Hm?” Dazai replied in a hum, looking at the short ginger.

“We can leave.” Chuuya tells him with a reassuring smile.

Dazai hesitates only a moment before nodding.

Chuuya gently tugged him back up to their room, neither of them saying a word as they go, but Chuuya kept a firm hold of the brunettes hand.

Upon arrival to their room, Dazai flops down on his bed, curling up on his side an attempt to de-stimulate.

Chuuya follows suit, though instead he sits down against the headboard, not touching his husband in case he doesn’t want to be.

It becomes clear he does want to be when he puts his head on Chuuya’s lap.

Said man can’t help but smile, and instantly begins running his fingers through the lanky man’s hair.

Not a word passes between them for hours.

The only sound their breathing, and the occasional too-loud tap of Chuuya’s fingers on his phone.

But eventually, the silence is broken by a mumbled, “Thank you.” From Dazai.

And a soft, “Anytime.” From Chuuya.

chuuya, when he finally gets his own car (he's known how to drive for ages now, but hasn't been allowed to unless necessary), marching over to dazai and forcing him inside. all smug and excited—"get the fuck in, dazai!!"—absolutely elated that he's the older one. rolling down the windows and turning the radio up all the way, annoying every building they pass as they speed through the entire city in minutes. fuck the red lights, and fuck the stop signs—they're laughing almost hysterically the entire time, and chuuya's clutching onto his hat because more than once it flies out the window. dazai's trying to stay calm and be the mature one but chuuya's smiles are infectious, and soon enough he's shouting off-key along with the music, flipping off anyone they pass, and skipping through the stations just to irritate chuuya—except chuuya's nearly doubled over in laughter, struggling to maintain control over the car and himself. they come home at 1am, with texts and calls from their superiors because their mission reports are late, and where the fuck are they, and answer the damn phone, but neither of them could care, stumbling into someone's apartment (is it chuuya's, or dazai's, or someone else's entirely?), giggling the whole way through. "we're doing this again when you get a car, mackerel," chuuya bites out, knocking dazai over to grab himself some water. dazai agrees silently, rolling his eyes and picking himself back up. "just try not to lose your hat when it happens, then," he calls back, with chuuya's hat in his hand and a panicked chuuya reaching up to his head to find it.

atsushi, terrified of the possibility that one day he'll be too tainted to return to the agency, keeps his distance from the other port mafia members, which he can't exactly do with chuuya because they're literally living together

Still looking for this fic.

Pretty sure it was multi-chaptered but I don’t recall if it was complete or not.

If anyone could help find it, I’d be so grateful. I can’t find any signs of it anywhere since I don’t remember anything else about the story/plot.

Need help finding a fic.

The issue is I don’t remember the name or the plot, just one specific scene. Which doesn’t help as I can’t remember if it was a part of the actual plot or if it was some sort of flashback type of deal.

Anyway so the thing I remember is:

Chuuya and Dazai get into a fight after completing a job. Chuuya chooses to go back to HQ in a huff first, leaving Dazai there.

Oda (who was assisting or part of the clean-up?) was there so Dazai wasn’t too bummed out even as if he felt a bit bad about the fight and somewhat unsettled. Oda offers to make sure he gets back to HQ with Dazai being his annoying self to brush it all off.

His misgivings are not misplaced as Chuuya encounters Q when he gets back to HQ who wants to play with him as Dazai refuses to play with him. Q curses Chuuya and that inadvertently triggers Corruption (though they don’t call it that as this is the first time Chuuya shows that side of his power so this part at least is before DHC since I don’t remember if SB is mentioned later).

When Dazai arrives in a hurry, haven given into worry, Chuuya is wrecking everything and clearly not his usual self. Q is crying and hiding beneath a bench. Dazai at first orders him to stop using his ability as he doesn’t see the doll, but Q reveals he did stop using it but Chuuya didn’t stop being weird and destroying stuff.

So Dazai does end up nullifying Chuuya and they’re both left wondering what the hell all that was about (and there’s casualties as well - I think the fic implied that this was the incident that lead to the decision to lock Q up though that also caused more carnage).

Unfortunately, that’s all I remember so if you recognize it and know what this might be from I would be extremely grateful. I’ve been looking for it for days now but not knowing the title, tags, or summary makes it hard to find.

Aftercare

“You were too rough.” Dazai whines, shifting in the bath tub against his husband’s chest.

“You were literally begging for it.” Chuuya says with an eye-roll.

Dazai lets out a melodramatic gasp. “Chibi is victim blaming, you’re such a meanie.” He buries his face in the smaller man’s shoulder.

“If I’m such a meanie, how come you’re cuddling me?” Chuuya asks, the amusement in his voice palatable as he subconsciously traces the lines of Dazai’s scars.

The brunette huffs. “‘Cause you’re warm, and you owe me.” He grumbles.

Chuuya can’t help but chuckle, swiping Dazai’s hair out of the way before pressing a kiss on the side of his face. “I owe you? You sounded like you were having the time of your life just a few minutes ago.”

Dazai pouts. “Shut up.”

Chuuya only laughs more, tilting his husband’s chin up and pressing a kiss to his lips. “As his majesty wishes.” He teases.

The brunette huffs, and then pulls Chuuya into another kiss, longer, more passionate.

They both eventually pull away, resting their foreheads together.

“What was that for?” Chuuya asks breathlessly.

“You just looked very kissable.” Dazai remarks, a smirk coming to his face as he shifts to his knees.

“Wanna go a second round?”
