I’ve posted this on my twitter and AO3 but might as well post it here too. 

It’s been a hot 5 years since I watched this anime but my god is it one of the best I’ve seen. It’s also one of the few shows that has made me realize the value of good character chemistry and I’m still shook the show allowed cool and unique interactions between the most unlikely of characters like Sofia and Tetsuya, Kiri and Ryoga, Noboru and Gao’s sister, Tasuku and Kazane, etc.

I also have many thoughts on this show and if given the chance I would spout about everything it does right (and some things it gets wrong but I can totally ignore the flaws of in seasons 1 and 2 lol) because, wow, woooow, it’s so unique and interesting and tbh this will forever be one of the shows I hold dear to my heart because that’s how much it’s impacted me lol

〜 多くの魂 ———  Hearing Tasuku speak up, Gao looked up from his break from training as he blotted his face with a towel. His mother had been putting him through the ringer with drills and things so he’d be ready for any Buddyfight or conflict that came his way.

〜 多くの魂 ———  Blinking as he wiped sweat from his eyes the Sunfighter grinned wide, shaking his head. “Tasuku, you of all people know that you can say all you want, I’ll never stop being strong for everyone’s sake!” Placing the rag down, he took a sip of water and then stood to continue his movements.

〜 多くの魂 ———  He was glad to have Tasuku over to observe Gao’s routine before they went out for a stroll ( Gao didn’t have school and Tasuku was off Buddy Cop duty ). Looking over at the blue haired boy after a few swift air punches, he smiled again. “I’ll be done and we can talk more in a few!!”
