flickers from the other room
ghostly manifestations
or so i imagine them
ethereal travelers
ever graceful
lyrical
-
apparitions
lightly dancing
between thoughts
between memories
between shadow and light
-
the corners of my eyes twitch
but i've learned not to look
never to turn my head
better to be very still
hold my breath and listen

[FRIENDS TO ENEMIES TO LOVERS PROMPTS] one is injured and is hesitant of the other taking care of them // (rouga is injured) Rouga @cpirits
@cpirits
She grimaced internally, setting down a white medical box besides the boy, who has open gashes all over his chest and shoulder.
“Rouga. Why are you in this state…?”
Unlocking the latch with a key, her pale hands are much steadier than she feels inside. She is used to him creating trouble, but it would be…more convenient…if he would quietly submit to being treated instead of being mutinous.
She would never harm him unless Kyoya ordered her to.
She owes him, for who he has been before. She was…unaccustomed to having company besides Shido, but during the time he was around, the atmosphere at Disaster was a bit better, perhaps because she got to tattletale on his misdeeds to Kyoya.
She likes being useful, is that why he goes and gets himself wounded all the time? Or does he merely not realise that she is nearly always here, bored out of her mind?
Sofia unwraps a bandage efficiently, her white bangs drifting over the floor as she bends down over his bleeding shoulder. She uncaps a pot of balm and dabs a cotton swab with alcohol - familiar movements, from when she learned the truth of how disposable she was to scientists, that they would leave her, a child, to treat her own wounds.
“Hold still.”

enemies to friends to lovers prompts
being forced to work together for a project/mission and absolutely dreading it
separating themselves as much as possible if allowed (ex: booking different rooms, camping out in different places, stalling when they do have personal time)
“you really aren’t making this any easier.” “as if you are?”
“you put this here on purpose!” “okay, for once, i wasn’t trying to put you in any danger.”
annoying any other surrounding friends/teammates with their consistent arguing
“you left me! don’t you realize i could have died?!” “that was the plan!”
finding out they both have another “enemy” in common, so they work together to either bother/get back at them (and maybe they realize they had lots of fun)
“you didn’t have to help me…” “yeah, well, unfortunately, i did. now come on, we don’t have time for this.”
“did i just hear a ‘thank you’??” “do not get used to hearing that.”
one making a snarky insult that was just so good, the other had to laugh
“what is that? poison?” “it’s literally just lunch that i figured i should kindly share, but if you’re not hungry then…” “no, wait, i am! thanks, i guess..”
both being unable to sleep one night, bored out of their minds, and somehow spending hours talking to each other
one is injured and is hesitant of the other taking care of them
^ they then are shocked by how gentle they’re being treated
going from spending no time, to most of their time together
“i know i was just there, but i think i forgot my keys.” “if you needed an excuse to see me again, you could have just asked..”
old (insulting) nicknames still being thrown around, but now it’s kind of endearing
“we swear we saw you leave their place last night.” “that must’ve been someone else.”
“that cute little face you’re pulling didn’t scare me before and it definitely won’t now. put it away.”
hiding their relationship from other friends because they know the reaction they’ll get
“no way, you still have this?”
sometimes their differences still clash, yet they learn to work through them

The Seven Virtuous Partners
A couple of months ago I put out the Seven Deadly Partners post. It is about time there was a post that instead praised those we interact with. This time, I encourage you to copy what is written and post it in the ask boxes or submit boxes of those in your partners it applies to, even if it’s more than one. Reblog this around so people know what’s going on and spread a little positivity, even if it’s just a little nod of thanks from all of us.
1. The Humble
The partner who always posts the starters, plots with us for hours on end even if nothing comes of what is discussed. They introduce us to other muses and muns and tend to be the centre of a community without really realising it. It is always “Our plot” or “Our verse” rather than anything they claim ownership of. They are forever praising others without recognising they themselves are worthy of equal amounts in return.
2. The Kind and Compassionate
The partner who never fails to extend a greeting, a kind message or small encouragement. Seeing when someone is struggling, they step in with little reminders that whatever we write or whatever we are dealing with, we’ll be okay and nothing will change in how they behave around us. The selfless partner who cares so much for others that sometimes they forget to care of themselves.
3. The Tactful and the Abstained
The partner who is forever mindful that on the other side of the screen, there is a human being. They’re honest, they show plenty of restraint sometimes where it isn’t owed and are willing to lend an ear when we realise our mistakes. They’re never aggressive, just giving gentle reminders of what needs doing or what might need to be changed in a thread.
4. The Honourable
The partner who respects everyone that they interact with and even those they do not. Never having hateful words about another mun cross their blog, they have respect in return for their attitude and approach to others. They have an understanding what is right by the greater many and can act upon it with considerable support for their moral judgement and well earned respect. They never take more than they give.
5. The Patient and the Loyal
The partner who is beside us no matter what! Though they stay true to themselves, when we are suffering or struggling through drama, they stand beside us publicly or privately for as long as it takes, no matter how bad it all gets they never give up on us and don’t let us give up on ourselves either. They also don’t mind delays in replies and still gush in the IMs when we come back.
6. The Graceful
The partner who gives everyone a chance, no matter what history there seems to be in association with the blog. Even forgiving those whom have wronged them in the past, sometimes where it is not earned, but they give their time without prejudice regardless.
7. The Diligent and the Excellent
The partner who is always consistent with their replies, always careful to have something for us to reply to in a thread, actively showing effort and persistence when we don’t give them the same in return. Forever striving to do better with each new thread or headcannon.

@cpirits I know he’s not on your muse list for this month, but Yamigedo’s ability to warp space time was something I thought might be fun to bring up!
