Happy Tuesday! I was wearing these nail foils for a few days last week, they're so pretty! I won these in a giveaway by @bornprettystore, but I can't find them on the website so can't share the product code - sorry! . . Usually I use a base to match the foil so it looks seamless, however when I tried the dark base, it dulled the colours a bit, so instead went with a nude colour base. Tip I used regular polishes and air dry foil glue. You can do the same with gels. Just need to cure each layer. Base color must be completely dry before you move to the next step. Apply foil glue and wait until gets clear and then you can apply the foil. Just learning nails, but this is dip powder from lily cute and it is so easy to use dip systems. Two coats of powder, lavender violets no wipe top coat, and marble nail foil on two nails. Not too excited by the nail foil, I think my natural nails are too short to show the design well. Foil glue was XKJ Star glue, and worked amazingly well. All the stuff I use is from amazon or eBay. The original dip kit was miss cheering from amazon. It was not expensive. The blue powder is a tiny 5g pot, and I did two coats, and you can barely see any gas gone from the pot. Advantage of dip powder. Is it’s easy to do, durable, no uv curing needed. I’ve had this idea for a while but never had the proper tools to do it 😆 My dad brought home a bag full of Darrel lea chocolate eggs, and I absolutely loved the colour of the blue ones. They inspired me to try out a nail art idea for this Easter! I flattened out the foil with a spoon as best as I could and used a nail foil glue to press it onto my nails. Happy Hump Day! Here is the tutorial for using this floral nail foil from @bornprettystore ❤ . . Usually I apply a base to match the foil, but for these I felt a dark base dulled the colours. Therefore, I used a nude colour base. They transferred perfectly so I didn't have to worry about the base showing through ❤ . . Apply the foil glue and wait for it to dry ( will go from white to clear), then apply the foil to the nail. I used my nails but you can also use a wooden stick to help the foil stick down. Make sure you press down the sides and free edge to ensure you don't have gaps in the transfer. Then just peel off ❤ . . You can see these foils transfer perfectly, I'm so happy with them! . .
