In my experience, Odahviing has always been the most photogenic. He definitely knows, lol.

Sketched some colorful dragons.
I swear getting right screenshots of them were a pain. Except Odahviing. He knows when I’m doing photoshoots apparently.

Cicero Loves You, Listener! TESSDE AU - Dark Brotherhood route
~ [First] ~ [Next] ~ [Prev] ~
Something had gone wrong while we were up on the cliff.
I hadn’t been able to put my finger on it. It felt like we were being watched. I was certain the others could feel it to, with the way Inigo’s tail whipped up a storm, ears flicked back tightly against his skull; Lucien nervously kept checking over his shoulder, waiting for something to pop out; Kaidan scanning the horizon line repeatedly for anyone in the close vicinity or far distance.
I couldn’t hold back my own shivers of discomfort as we slowed our pace, feeling very much like we were being corralled to something.
We were not too far from Falkreath, in Reachmen territory. Normally, according to my boys, this usually spelt disaster. But I’d managed to make friends with many of the tribes in the area, and they’d given us clear passage by warning others that we weren’t to be harmed.
They really enjoyed my hurdy gurdy songs I’d shared the first time.
Due to this safety net, however, I knew it wasn’t them stalking us like prey. Shepherded closer and closer to the edge of a cliffside, my hands felt clammy while holding the grip of Kaidan’s bow, and I felt as taut as the bowstring along my entire body.
I just wished something would happen, so we could get it over with all ready!
Suspense was my most despised form of horror. Not knowing when the other shoe would drop raised my anxiety levels too high; pulse skyrocketing in my veins. Sahloknir and Mirmulnir could hardly contain Nahagliiv with the amount of turmoil coiling through me, try as I might to douse it with vague hope.
My heart was palpitating and squeezing too tightly. My mouth felt like cotton had taken over to live on my tongue, and I felt sweat trickle down the base of my arms. I was sure to have an anxiety attack before long if this kept up.
Inigo whipped around, bow drawn, a snarl on his face as we all turned to see what had caught his attention.
But there was nothing in the area behind us.
I whipped my head back around— equal parts sure it had been a diversion, as well as thinking I had heard something this time— only to find nothing yet again. Sequestered between two boulders that hugged the edge of the cliff precariously, we all waited, as still as our breathing, for anything to happen.
…And waited.
…And waited still.
Despite nothing happening, none of us were willing to look away and untense to let our guards drop. We’d been through too much for that. We knew better— even Lucien, who I could tell was struggling to keep still.
I swallowed thickly again, trying to hear anything beyond the beating of my blood in my ears. We were on our way back to Whiterun, and all I wanted to do was to fall into Bren’s arms and rest with my family. I wanted to go home and cook for them and not think about being the Dragonborn for five minutes. Not have to think about the Gods that pestered me endlessly about saving the world.
I wanted a break. Not to break.
Kaidan shuffled in place, the sound of his gloves creaking from his grip sounding like blaring sirens in the stillness. Lucien’s breathing was tight, fire alight along his fingers and palms. And though no longer drawn fully to conserve energy, Inigo was still poised and at the ready to shoot anything that remotely popped up out of the blue.
I could feel my magicka swirling just under the surface of my skin, aching to be let out and released, but I couldn’t. Not yet. I couldn’t draw eyes to us just because of this tension. It would only give whatever was out there a hidden third party to kill us all the easier.
I was growing weary with every passing minute though. Why wait this long? Why drag it out? Were they even there anymore?
The temptation to call out grew more and more, but I could hear my sister berating me for outing myself to an enemy and risking my team. So I continued biting my tongue and kept my eyes peeled—
There. A shadow had moved behind the boulder on the right, I had seen it. I silently nudged Inigo and Kaidan, as they were closest to me, and nodded towards that boulder. They nodded back, eyes sharp, as I slowly moved to Lucien’s side to warn him as well.
What I hadn’t anticipated was the sudden and sharp whistle from a fired arrow racing towards me, catching me in the shoulder in mere moments.
All hell broke loose. Kaidan and Inigo immediately went on the hunt, shouting out war cries as they raced after the perceived threat, while Lucien caught me as I fell into his arms. I stumbled, knees hitting the dirt and small rocks painfully; my hand reaching up to the arrow that was surely sunk into my muscle.
Another whistle, I couldn’t think, I just shoved Lucien down, watching as the next arrow shuddered into the dirt behind us.
“RUN!” I screamed past the stranglehold on my throat, getting up as fast as I possibly could and dragged Lucien up with me.
“Where?!” He yelped back, stumbling upright and hurried off as I pushed him.
“Anywhere! Serpentine! Just run!” I croaked. Anxiety was clawing at my insides— I couldn’t think.
Another arrow just barely missed Lucien’s foot as he dodged left, leaving him yelping again. I turned to the direction the arrows were firing from, but saw nothing but open spaces.
Wait—
Along the ground of the cliffside, there were specific pocket markings, as if the dirt had been turned over. Risking the spare moments between an archer’s reload time, I could see that the motions continued in a semi-circle from one boulder to the other.
Exactly covering the section only I remained standing on.
My pupils were dilated as time slowed down. In his haste, Lucien’s feet ripped up the dirt from behind him, loose as it was, sending trickles of it throughout the air.
Another arrow just missed him, sending him skating further beyond the line.
A trap.
I went to run— I needed to get out of here— but another arrow stopped me in my tracks as it pierced my thigh. I screamed in pain, falling forward into the dirt, and felt it shudder under the force of my weight.
I howled in agony as I broke the arrow in my thigh, digging the arrowhead further into my skin; barely seeing past the blinding white pain of Lucien attempting to run back to me. He was stopped by dozens of arrows flying his way, keeping him trapped. Kaidan and Inigo were nowhere to be seen from my position. I couldn’t hear much past the tinnitus ringing in my head.
I was being targeted. By what? Or whom?
It didn’t matter. I needed to—!
The ground shook horrifically, just as predicted, and I turned my head to see the dirt collapsing behind me over the edge. I grabbed fistfuls of grass and dirt, desperately clawing my way across as best I could.
Lucien was braving through the storm of arrows, diving headfirst along the ground to reach out to me—
My fingertips grazed his—
He gasped in pain as his body retracted from being shot in the side again and again; eyes peering widely into my own.
And I let out a terrified scream as my body plummeted down, down, down below.

One time, in a vanilla ps4 special edition playthrough of Skyrim, I had a character who had this really... unusual glitch. Basically, any time i entered a new cell (not jail, game cell) I had a chance of getting a random dragon corpse to just. Be there.
Sometimes they were bones. Sometimes they still had their previous appearance. Once or twice they gave me souls. The most often ones were named.
I was very familiar with Nahagliiv even after killing him in Rorikstead at level 13. Most often he (or rather his corpse) appeared any time I was in the Reach or in Whiterun.
Very strange, but in a pleasantly nostalgic way. I wish it would start happening to my characters again.

26,28,30 for kieran for the skyrim ask meme?
thank you so much! 💜 life happened and I fell off the face of the earth, sorry for taking so long lol
skyrim questions ask meme
26. What flowers lie on your Dragonborn's final resting place, if there are any? This is… Strangely painful to think about haha But I imagine Kieran's final resting place would be visited regularly, and there are always fresh flowers of all sorts decorating it. He was a herbalist, and famous for the adorable flower crowns he'd weave his children, and try as he might to deny it he caused a good impression on the people in his life. I can see folk dropping by when they need some comfort, because I definitely imagine he's remembered for his kindness far more than for being a fierce hero.
28. What did your Dragonborn feel when they killed their first dragon?
Like the biggest idiot alive, first and foremost. The start to Kieran's journey was different from canon - there was no Helgen, he was already living in Skyrim when Alduin destroyed it.
Kieran was in Rorikstead when Alduin resurrected Nahagliiv, and like the absolute selfless buffoon he is he jumped right in front of dragon fire to get Sissel out of harm's way. He then aided the guards in bringing the overgrown lizard down and it was quite the shock when the whole devouring a dragon's soul thing happened.
He promptly understood he had set something in motion, and he hated it. When the first guard started yelling he was the Dragonborn he realized his peaceful life was done for. Still, he also felt the pull of the blood, and for once in over ten years of exile, he felt alive.
30. When did it all go wrong for them, if it did? Well, things went wrong when his sister and boyfriend were eaten alive by cannibal draugr, mostly. His teenage years were horrible, the beginning of his adult life he lived in squalor as a criminal, and the years that followed were a mixture of guilt and depression as he tried to be invisible. It took him a long time to accept he was not a monster, longer still for him to understand that there was no running away from his fate and he had found his chance to do good like he always wanted to. Once he regained his conscience, he got his shit together and life improved significantly.

TESSDE AU (+ Lucia :]) (Lucia part 7)
Davidicus: *having finished several scrolls of art of Odahviing, massaging the cramps from his hands with a pleased smile* The others at the Arcane University will never be the same when I show them these.
Lucien: *smiling wide* You'll certainly be the talk of the whole building!
Davidicus: *chuckles* So it would seem. I must thank you, and Allora, for allowing me this grand opportunity.
Lucien: Ah, it's all Allora really. She's wonderful. *smiles over at his partner and Lucia, who were finally getting off Odahviing*
Davidicus: Have you two... discussed things?
Lucien: *pouts* Yes father, we talked things over.
Davidicus: And all is well?
Lucien: *flushes, remembering their kisses- quite a few of them before a guard cleared his throat at them and made them scurry away* P- ah, perfectly well!
Davidicus: *chuckles, patting his son on the shoulder* It warms my heart to hear it, Lucien. I'm glad you've found someone. I can all ready see the changes she's made in you.
Lucien: *cocks his head* Changes? I mean, I've certainly changed in my skills, and she's helped me grow stronger as well, but-
Lucia: *running over to Lucien and giggles as she near tackle hugs him* Did you see me, papa? Did you?
Lucien: *almost bowled over in her excitement, wheezing* -I! Did! Oof. So excitable. *adjusts her to sit on his lap before pulling up his completed flower crown on her head with a smile* You mentioned you wanted one for Odahviing, but I thought you mind enjoy one for yourself as well!
Lucia: *squeals, hugging him tightly* I love it! Thanks papa!
Lucien: *teary eyed from her strength, wheezing a bit and patting her head* N-no problem!
Davidicus: *smiles as he watches his son and granddaughter, stealthily taking an empty section of parchment and drawing the two together, both wearing flower crowns with flower petals around them*
~
Allora: *petting Odahviing's snout* We'll alert the others that you aren't to be harmed. Thanks for letting us pester you.
Odahviing: *rumbles, gently pressing his snout against her* Your existence is built to "pester" this one, as you say. Only am I so thankful it is with kindness and heart, instead of nax, cruelty.
Allora: *hugs him and kisses his head* Love you, Odahviing. Be safe.
Odahviing: And you, Krein Monah.
Allora: *grumbles and lightly flicks his head* Stop.
Lyra: *slowly approaching the two, hesitant, but firm* ...Hello.
Odahviing: *tilts his head* Drem Yol Lok. Greetings. What can this one do for you, jul?
Lyra: I... wanted to thank you for helping out my son and Allora- and the others- for saving us against Alduin. And... to apologize for being so wary of you.
Odahviing: *rumbles, sitting up* Nunon mey bo strun voqostiid naal sov. Only a fool flies in a storm and is surprised by the shock. You do well to remain wary of dragons. Not all are loyal to Allora-Monah as I and Paarthurnax.
Allora: And Durnehviir. And Mirmulnir. And Sahloknir. And Nahagliiv.
Odahviing: *chortles* Of course.
Lyra: *smiles, feeling at ease at their comraderie* Even so, thank you for proving my fears that you would hurt us wrong. I am grateful to you. And you, Allora.
Allora: *flushes, scuffing her foot on the ground* Ah, it's nothing.
Kaidan: *walking over and pulling her into a hug from behind, sighing* You literally save the world, befriend dragons, and changed so many lives. It's not nothin', love. *kisses her cheek*
Allora: *grumbles, leaning into the affection as Lyra laughs* Yeah whatever...
Lucia: Mama! Do we have to go?
Taliesin: *scoops up Lucia from Lucien's lap* Absolutely, young lady, it's about your nap time.
Inigo: Hehehe.
Taliesin: *squints* I will... do something about you. Later.
Inigo: Oh no. I think Kaidan would be more appropriate for that. I am very flattered though.
Kaidan: *flushes, growling as Allora wheezes in his arm* Oi! I'll kick yer behind in archery when we get back to their home!
Inigo: Now that is something I can get behind! You are on!
Allora: *snickering* Get behind... classic.
Kaidan: *pinches her cheek* Enough outta you. Or you're next.
Allora: *flushes, grinning* For archery or a "nap"?
Kaidan: *gives her a heated stare, pulling her along to the cart* ...
Allora: *laughing as she's dragged away, waving to Odahviing* Pruzah wundunne, Odahviing!
Odahviing: *chortles as he turns to return to his cave* Pruzah wundunne, Allora-Monah ahrk fron.

from his distant perch he hears the battle cry of one of alduin’s allies, a dragon descending onto folk dwelling peacefully below.   there remains a darkness lurking deep within his soul,  slinking thoughts  -  let them be, savour it.   however, the piercing scream of a mother protecting her child surges him into action, mountainous form lifting from the snow-tipped hill as tattered wings carry him towards the chaos.   “ paak paal  -  nahagliiv, to torture such helpless mortals. ”   as expected, he receives only venom spewed in the form of a blazing ball of fire that momentarily staggers him, though the old one recovers and closes the space between them as he utilizes teeth and claws.
THE FIGHT IS BRUTAL,  one paarthurnax had not been prepared for, although it seems his efforts are not wasted for eventually nahagliiv submits and reluctantly flees from the scene.   wounded, both body and pride, he lands away from the mortals to ensure they don’t attempt to attack him, guard rising when he spots a form approaching.
