Im trying to learn ur artstyle (and semi realism lol)

Can I ask for tips on what you do and what methods do you use in your art? (For example some people use Loomis method or boxes)

Hello! I once was asked how to develop an artstyle and I wrote a lot there, it touches semi-realism as well, so here is answer if you wanna check it. But I'll add someting more down there. 👇

I personally haven't ever used boxes (this is my nightmare actually), when I draw, I usually start from lining the silhouette, simple lines of action, without a construction, so my sketches usually end up looking like this.👇

some of my scanned pencil sketches for example because I usually quickly (most of times trying not to think about construction at all) draw A LOT of faces and it fills all the paper sheet, so draw a lot just for the sake of it! You'll get what you want eventually.

Loomis method is useful, I used it for some time to practice, it's helpful – but I've outgrown it and can build faces without it now most of times.

I am no master of semi-realism, so it's hard for me to answer how I did it since it wasn't on purpose😭 so my only advice is to study on real photos — you can even trace them to see how the line goes, and then try to recreate them on your own. It's when loomis method comes in handy...

If Beast!Dazai and Beast!Chuuya were willing to be as fruity as they were in front of Atsushi, just imagine how audacious they are behind the scenes.

But also the fact that Chuuya doesn't even protest when Dazai's finger is on his lips—probably wasn't the first time Dazai did it, but it just so happened to be poor Atsushi witnessing it that time.

Like, who else had walked in on these two having their moment and clearly being a third-wheel? Gin? Hirotsu? Some random dude who just wants to get his paycheck and go home after a long day?

I get this feeling most know if they walk in on the boss and righthand man having a moment, they just shut the door behind them and go about their day, but I bet Atsushi left the room feeling very confused as he turned to one of the armed men standing by the doors leading into Dazai's office, a question forming as the man said:

"Nothing to see here."

Absolutely nothing to see here. It's just a Tuesday.

Hello there everyone! How are you? So, I've been gone a few days because of battling Writer's Block for my fic. Long story short, I'm fine now! And the house didn't burn down! But I'm making this post because of my amazing friend Vega, who is the bestest best person to ever exist in the history of ever! You can find her on Twitter (@vegabegabego), and she and I got to talking about a little something! Low and behold, Vega drew me an aged-up Marinette as Hawkmoth! Because of course she did! I got her permission to share it with everyone, and it's really, really cool! She looks so menacing I love it! And this cured my Writer's Block!

Quick Solar headcanons that just melt me:

He does this thing where he works until he literally can’t anymore, like his battery is so low he would pass out if he did anything else

He makes sure to give Jack some time out of his week, just to do whatever

He’s kinda scared when it comes to being Sun’s friend because he still blames himself for what happened to his Sun

Even though Dazzle thinks he’s kinda mean, he still invites her to join him and Jack when they do whatever they’re doing that week

(Angsty one) His Moon would regularly beat him up for doing even the simplest thing wrong, and though he’s learned now that these guys wouldn’t do that, he’s still a perfectionist with anything he does because of it

(Another angsty one here) He has panic attacks every now and then, but he’d always run away from others because his Monty would always tell him to shut up and his Moon would always yell at him as well.

Solar schedules his time. It’s just something he would do qwq

His system coverts the water he drinks into power, allowing his battery to last longer

He makes breakfast in the mornings for the kids usually, because Sun has to leave really early so he has time to prepare the daycare before it opens.

He’s woken up throughout the week by Jack either jumping on the bed or just running all over the place and screaming like a hungry kitten

He doesn’t care about pronouns, but would think it’s weird if someone randomly called him a she or something with no context

He still responds to the name Eclipse sometimes, and then immediately curses the fact he forgot he isn’t called that anymore (like, someone will be talking about Eclipse and he’d respond and then go “…wait just a second-”)
