This needs to go viral, this is a serious unaddressed issue
What is the Naga project?
The Naga Project hopes to grow into a series of projects aimed to help people have access to basic nessacities. A portion of the company funds go to it, and 100% of offerings goes towards this cause.
Help by clicking this link: https://www.gofundme.com/naga-project-for-affordable-housing
The current project in progress: Naga Affordable Housing
Living away from home at an early age, the founder experienced and saw many issues concerning the housing crisis facing the working class of young and middle aged adults, families & vets that live in poverty that weren't being addressed wide-scale: As told to do so by our family, the media, educators, and society many of us acquired skills, trades, graduated college and even served the military. However, this didn't set us up for a guarantee of a basic standard of living. In addition to the complex set of factors affecting homelessness – there is an extreme shortage of affordable housing and livable income for those who even maintain a job. We've piled up debt for our education; bad credit from housing dilemmas, utilities and transportation costs just to keep the low paying job that barely pays our living expenses.
In 2012, nearly half of American households were just one emergency away from poverty or homelessness. Most Americans don’t have the savings for one unexpected bill. There are more individuals considered β€œthe working poor” than there are who are not considered as such.
Why are so many people without housing?
Based on a survey of more than 100 low-income individuals, found that most of the debts resulted from stretches of unemployment, medical costs, and student loans. The study also found that low income people are often overwhelmed by high interest rates that make it nearly impossible to pay down debts, then penalized again when prospective employers or landlords conduct credit checks before hiring or renting to them.
Why don't they move back in with their parents or go back to school?
Well lets start with explaining that The β€œboomerang generation,” is the wave of young adults who moved back in with their parents after the Great Recession. Nearly a quarter of all young adults ages 18-34 returned home because of economic conditions post-recession. Boomeranging acts as a β€œlaunch pad” for higher-income young adults to gain the financial security to pursue unpaid internships or advanced degrees that prepare them for future professional success.
Regardless of moving back home to continue education, or to save money and build their credit before going back out into society; for many low-income individuals or families, moving back home is out of the question. It could be that was never a stable home to return to, their parents couldn’t afford another tenant; or perhaps their parents live in impoverished areas where, if they were to move home, they would be unable to find work. Usually there are combination of reasons. If your family is poor, and your friends are poor they may try to help you, but at some point, they run out of resources, too.
Twenty percent of students reported being hungry, 15 percent homeless with is steady rising. Most college students need to work while in school. Most people think, 'Well, you can get food stamps," What they don't know is that for a college student, who doesn't have children, to get food stamps requires that they work 20 hours a week. Also for many, it's very challenging to balance working enough hours to cover rent, utilities and nessacities and still have enough time to study and focus on school. For some, there is no transportation to get between work and school. These factors leaves many to choose between continuing their education, or working to have a functioning place to lay their head. For many that have a family or obligations they have no choice but to live day by day. School goes down on the list of priorities.
In conclusion, there is a huge issue surrounding affordable housing for students, working class individuals, families, and vets. If we don’t take care of this, poverty and homelessness will continue to rise. It’s not right that a student whose only trying to better themselves; or the family that works hard and just needs a home; or to the vets that served our country find that it is vey difficult to qualify for and maintain having a place to stay. This crisis needs to be addressed and re-vamped now, or one day you might find yourself in a situation that you didn’t realize was such a problem until it hits home.
We are committed to either buying existing real estate , or building complex from the ground up to helpΒ fix this issue. We don’t just need another housing project with a long waiting list. We need an affordable, diverse, safe community that doesn’t stop caring after moving people in...we want to keep going to make sure that this underrepresented demographic of people have places within the community for childcare, transportation, shopping & etc. In turn the extra businesses around, will create jobs.

RISING YOGA AT THE HEALING EARTH TEMPLE (GHANA) WIT MY BROS πŸ™πŸΎπŸ‘³πŸΎπŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ’ͺπŸΎπŸ–€βœŠπŸΎπŸ‘ŒπŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎπŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ˜ Six Years Ago I Began My Yogi Journey While Living In Atlanta, Georgia. At that time, I was living in a three bedroom rancher with a nice basement for meditation/celebration and plenty of yard space to grow food and host events. That became the very first Naga Temple that I would erect. It was such a majikal journey with that Temple 😁 So Much growing, networking and self realization occurred at that place πŸ™πŸΎπŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸŒ±πŸ”₯πŸ’¦ I named it The Healing Earth Temple because we dealt mostly with the earth element of cultivation and the physical body (detox, healthy eating and fitness). A couple years later me and my tribe left that place to begin our nomadic journeys around the country and throughout the world. I am very happy to announce that I have secured a Temple space here in Ghana!! πŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ‡¬πŸ‡πŸ‡¬πŸ‡ It is a true Temple that me and my Bros are creating to receiving all the beautiful ones who wish to come to Ghana to practice a Yogi livity while in a natural environment. Guests will have access to exercise (physical training, jogging, aerobics), Farming, Storytelling/Twi Language Learning, Drumming, African Dance, Batik Art, Private Tours & More!
