“You cannot look at him,” Sun says gently but with a great deal of warning in his voice as he covers your eyes with his dark digits. You’re in the dark. The speed of your breath through your nose picks up as you become hyper-alert through the fog of tiredness.

“You cannot listen to him,” they say together, voices overlaid and sending your pulse spiking as arms reach across your chest as your familiars cover the ear opposite of them. Together, their combined efforts hold you in a cage of their palms.

It’s only one meme but dang they always draw Eclipse to be getting that gain 💪💪💪 (bc of how muscular he is haha.) Mad respect to all of the drawings they create - they’re always a banger to see.

I’d like to think this would take place around the beginning of “The Episode Bedeviling Bodies,” where the Hunter is still trying to understand their dear friend and what they’re capable of. I thought it was fitting ngl and included it in the comp.

My siren au? Do you mean the drabble I wrote with baby Sun and Moon as sirens? If so, I have the full drabble here.

But the au itself actually belongs to @naffeclipse! They have many posts on their tumblr about it, as well as three different fics on AO3 featuring different versions of the same au, all with the same grabby, yet charming orca!siren Eclipse.

6. What is your darkest fear about writing?

Had to think for a bit, because a lot of my fears around writing are just imposter syndrome, and I feel like everyone deals with that to a degree. It's not really a darkest fear, sure it sucks but I can grapple with that.

But honestly? I'm scared I'll never finish any of my stories. I get so many ideas and get carried away, and then hyperfixations move on, or I post something and become too dependent on external feedback and then that trickles out and I wonder if it's my fault, and if no one cares, and I have my outline and thoughts, is it even worth the effort to write it out? Becoming dependent on external validation is one of my biggest issues, and it's rearing its ugly head again these days, too, so the fear feels very real right now. Just once, I'd like to see something through until the end, and have people be there with me as I do, but I wonder if that's just not in my cards.

7. What is your deepest joy about writing?

I think it's a tie between rereading my own works and sharing them with others.

On the one hand, I am very forgetful, and reading a fleshed out scene is so different from the thought you already forgot anyway or just a line of outline. It's for me, and I enjoy it, and I enjoy thinking about the characters and how they interact, get to explore so much and put it all down in a way where I can come back to it again and again!

On the other hand, directly seeing the effect my thoughts and words have on others, getting to share them all with people replying with their own thoughts, it's amazing! Like sitting around the campfire, but the story is evolving and people are laughing and sharing their thoughts, and personally I get a lot of my ideas from that back and forth! I doesn't just feel great, it's a rubber duck of the best kind where I get more and more ideas and get to rub my little gay hands together thinking about what kind of reactions these new thoughts will spark!

So yeah you can also see a bit of where that darkest fear is coming from, I'm just so stoked about the campfire I get scared when people start leaving, even if it's just because it's getting cold, or late, and has nothing to do with the story itself
