It has been one of these days, when it feels like you and Arthur have been locked in the universe of some kind of action movie. Bizzare and dramatic things have been happening all day long, some that led to miscommunications between you but quickly got resolved with the power of love...

Naturally, eager as you both are to once again prove your love for each other, things begin to get heated at the end of the day.

And then you gasp panically in realization.

"I don't have enough dia for the epilogue!!"

You find yourself pushed down on the bed, but in the last second you manage to block Arthur with your hands so he can't get on top of you yet.

"Hmm?~What did you say, Luv? You know, I've been waiting to have you sprawled under me allll day..."

His words sent a shiver down your spine, and you let out an agonizing whine at having to disobey your own need. You turn to your side and reach for your cellphone that has been charging on the nightstand.

Arthur blinks, still perplexed that you're using this thing at all. While you could charge it just fine, he wondered what you're using it for in this day and age.

Not to mention at a time like that. While he's right there, ready to devour you.

"Dear?"

You appear to be tapping hurriedly on the thing, blue light illuminating your face as some strange music is produced from the bizarre piece of technology. Without looking at your lover, you struggle to mutter an answer.

"It's- You wouldn't understand."

Arthur remains frozen in his place, observing as the screen flashes, your fingers dancing on it. He sees... test tubes aligned on the screen. They're ...filled with different colored liquid?

You rush to sort them by color as if you're being held at gunpoint. Arthur has never been so confused in his life.

"Luv, you're right, I don't understand. But you could just say if you don't feel in the mood for-"

"NO! I MUST GET THE EPILOGUE AND HAVE SEX WITH YOU TONIGHT!"

"...?"

The sultry conclusion, the epilogue of your day spent together, he figures. His writer's vocabulary might be rubbing off on you. That's kind of endearing, but...

Arthur sits down on his haunches perplexed. Is this some strange form of bedroom roleplay you're introducing him to?

"I must have you, Arthur, I even saw the preview and it was so hot-"

"The preview? You're saying you had a naughty dream about us making love and you want to see it come true? Dirty girl..."

Arthur's distracting words make you mess up in your game, and you have to restart the level. Just a few more and the game will give you a reward in diamonds, then all you need to do would be to watch those annoying daily ads and then it should be enough...

Seeing that his dirty talk has no effect on you, Arthur sighs and moves away from his position. Instead, he lies down next to you, becoming your big spoon as he looks over your shoulder at the game you're so consumed in, seeing that you're not going to pay him any attention before you're done with it.

"It's some kind of puzzle game, isn't it? Maybe you should leave it to me, Luv... in the meantime, why don't you tell me more about that 'preview' you saw of our intimate time together, hmm?"

The Fall Festival is around the corner and nowhere is that more apparent than in the dining hall of the orphanage. The sisters have been hard at work to make the gray stone walls warm and inviting, stringing bright orange paper pumpkins from one end of the room to the other. Small, uneven leaves in red and yellow and gold hang from the rafters on long strings, turning lazily in the rush of air that enters every time the doors open. The children are quick to show you and Theo which leaves they each cut out, pride shining in young eyes that have seen far too much.

Now the dining room tables are covered in pots of paint, paint brushes, and paper. The children are sitting in groups, excitedly painting autumn-themed pictures to sell at the festival. The church had placed a notice, looking for volunteers to help with all the artistry and Theo and Vincent had readily agreed to help. You smile as you watch Vincent in the far corner of the room. He’s sitting on a small stool, holding a ripe red apple in his hand, turning it as he speaks to the children sitting by him, brows furrowed in concentration as they listen to his gentle explanation on the best way to capture the perfect red of the fruit.

A tug on your sleeve tears your gaze away from the scene. A small girl with a smear of orange paint across her cheek asks you to please refill her orange pot. 

“Of course I will. But remember, the paint is supposed to be on the paper.” You tap her small nose with your index finger and she giggles as she tries to hide her very orange fingers.

You make your way to the table by door where the smaller paint pots can be refilled. As you’re pouring the color from a larger pot into the smaller one, you feel a hand on your waist. One glance over your shoulder and you can’t stop the smile that blossoms. Theo slides his hand subtly over your hip as he watches you finish filling the small pot.

“Don’t spill, Hondje,” he murmurs, that voice running over you like a warm current of water. 

His hand on your hip is certainly not helping you keep your hands steady and that gleam in his summer-sky eyes tells you he knows it. You’re about to let him know that you’re on to him when you both hear it at the same time: the sound of a small nose sniffling. A tiny chest heaving with muffled sobs.

A young boy with hair the color of sunrise and eyes bright with tears has moved away from all the other children and slumped onto the cold stone floor. His fingers, usually streaked with dirt are now streaked with different colors of paint. They’re clutching a piece of paper, the paint so fresh it echoes the falling of his tears as it drips onto the floor. You exchange a look with Theo. You feel his fingers squeeze the curve of your hip. I’ll handle it, the touch says.

Watching out of the corner of your eye, you see how he lowers his large body onto the floor next to the boy, not caring about the cold stone or tiny drops of paint.

“Can I see your painting?” His voice is a type of gentle not often heard from Theodorus. 

The little boy sniffs, his face a model of misery. “It’s not good, Monsieur. All the other kids laughed at it. It’s…..it’s all wrong.”

Theo tilts his head, his expression skeptical. “Art can’t be wrong. It can only be misunderstood.”

The boy raises his gaze from the floor to the large man beside him, his wide eyes still glistening with tears but now, there is a small glimmer of something else there as well. “Really?”

The head of messy golden hair you love so much nods. “Natuurlijk”, he says seriously. “Of course. Will you show me?”

The boy sniffs again, but slowly tips the paper away from his chest. He’s painted an autumn scene like the other children. Except his sky is purple instead of blue. The apples on his trees are bright yellow. The grass is red. He’s even added a small brown squirrel with colorful dots perched on one of the branches.

Theo leans forward. He takes his time, his sharp gaze running over every brush stroke, every color choice. He inspects it the way he would any painting. With respect. “What bold choices you have made.”

The little boy wipes his eyes on his sweater sleeve, a piece of clothing that has been patched many, many times. “The other–” He sniffles again, but now sits up straighter, laying the paper down on the floor, smoothing out the corners. “The other kids said the colors were wrong.”

Theo shakes his head, scoffing. “How can colors be wrong?” 

The boy points a skinny finger at the sky he created. “They said it needs to be blue.”

Theo glances at him, his own bright blue eyes searching his face. “Why did you paint it purple?”

The boy smiles. “Because when the sun comes up in the morning, sometimes the sky IS purple. And I like how that looks!”

Theo does something unusual for him. He immediately returns the smile. “Well then it’s fine if your sky is purple, isn’t it?” He points to the other elements of the painting. “And why did you choose the other colors?”

The young boy is animated now, shifting on his knees as he wiggles around to sit next to Theo. “The apples are yellow because I like yellow and I like apples a lot so I wanted apples to be a color I like. The grass is red because the grass out in the fields behind the church always leaves my skin all itchy and bumpy and red. And here, the squirrel-” He jabs at the almost dry squirrel. “We had a clown come one time at Christmas and he was-he was so funny, Monsieur. He made me laugh. And squirrels are also funny, with their fuzzy tails and the way they bounce around branches so I made him with lots of colorful dots, like the clown we saw.”

Theo nods, listening intently. “That makes perfect sense, kleintje.” He clears his throat, pretending to ponder something. “You know, you're a very talented artist. And I really like your picture. So much so that, with your permission, I would like to ask the sisters if I can purchase it today and not wait until the festival.” 

The boy’s eyes widen in shock. “Really? You want to buy my picture?”

Theo cracks a smile at the wonder in his voice. “I do. But only if you make me a promise.”

The boy nods seriously, his gaze earnest as he leans in.

“You must promise me you'll make another painting for the festival.”

The young boy’s face shines, his heart glowing under Theo’s praise.

“I will, Monsieur. I promise.” He raises his hand, pressing it to his heart, a solemn vow made.

“Good. I’ll be looking for it.” Theo stands up slowly, offering his hand to help the small boy up. “Now go, ask the sisters if it’s ok for me to bring this home today.” The boy grabs his hand, practically jumping up. He bends down, carefully collecting his painting and makes his way toward the closest group of nuns. The oldest raises her gaze to Theo, a soft smile on her lips.

Hours later, you exit the orphanage together. Theo has the painting rolled up and tucked carefully under one arm. You have your hand tucked into his other elbow as you walk across cobblestones littered with dry leaves that crunch underfoot. The sky overhead is a brilliant lavender streaked with yellow and orange, the sun’s farewell as she sinks to her well-earned slumber. You’re about to cross the stone bridge when you stop walking, holding onto his arm, forcing him to stop as well.

He turns to you, a question in his eyes as he looks down. “Yes, Hondje? What is it?”

You rise up onto your toes and press your lips to his. It’s soft and it’s warm and it’s full of the emotion that flooded your body as you watched Theodorus take a little boy’s heart in his hands and raise it up to the light. 

When you slowly lower yourself again, he looks both pleased and slightly confused. “What was that for?”

You take his hand, lacing your fingers through his, solid and steady and secure. “Just because.” You smile at him, bright as the emerging stars in the darkening autumn sky. “Now let's get back and hang up that masterpiece.”

Ikemen Vampire RPG [Fan-made]

Hey friends, I decided to challenge myself in June to create a short game, and what better way to do that than to bring our favorite mansion to life! This challenge was a learning experience for me to learn the basics of game dev, which I enjoyed tremendously and hope to do more of!

✨ Play as the housekeeper of le Comte de Saint-Germain's mansion, who is left alone to do as they please. But there is work to do, and the residents have left notes in their respective rooms of their requests!

Szkodra. Flaga podzielona pionowo

2. Wcześniejsza flaga Szkodry. Gmina Szkodra (wł. Scutari; tur. Uskudar; crng. Skadar; 86 200 mieszkańców w 2008 r.) jest ekonomiczną stolicą północnej Albanii i czwartym co do wielkości miastem w kraju. Szkodra znajduje się w najbardziej wysuniętym na południowy wschód punkcie Jeziora Szkoderskiego, największego jeziora na Bałkanach, dzielonego z Czarnogórą (169 km kw. w Albanii; 199 km kw. w Czarnogórze). Szkodra była w III wieku p.n.e. stolicą iliryjskiego plemienia Ardejczyków, którego ostatni król, Genthius, bił własne monety. Genthius zawarł sojusz z macedońskim królem Perseuszem (179-168 p.n.e.) i został pokonany w 168 r. p.n.e. podczas trzeciej wojny iliryjskiej przez generała Lucjusza Emiliusza Paulusa (228-160 p.n.e.). Tytus Liwiusz donosi, że stolica Genthiusa była chroniona murami, wieżami i twierdzami. Zdobyta i splądrowana przez Rzymian, Szkodra została później odbudowana i stała się centrum prowincji Praevalitania. W wyniku podziału Cesarstwa Rzymskiego w 395 r. Szkodra została przydzielona do Cesarstwa Wschodniego (Cesarstwa Bizantyjskiego). W XI wieku została przekazana serbskim władcom z Zeta (dzisiejsza Czarnogóra), którzy rozwinęli gospodarkę miasta. Szkodra została następnie przekazana albańskiej rodzinie Balshaj, władcom całej północnej Albanii i części Czarnogóry. Zagrożeni przez Osmanów, Balshaj sprzedali miasto Wenecjanom w 1396 r.; Szkodra stała się wysuniętą placówką chrześcijaństwa. Miasto zostało zajęte w 1474 i 1478 r. przez Osmanów, którzy nie mogli go utrzymać. Ostatecznie zdobyli je i splądrowali w 1479 r. po rocznym oblężeniu przedstawionym na słynnym obrazie Paolo Veronese (1528-1588). Upadek Szkodry spowodował wygnanie kilku jego mieszkańców do Włoch, gdzie utworzyli społeczności Arbëresh/Arbaresh w Kalabrii, Sycylii i gdzie indziej. Pod rządami Imperium Osmańskiego, Szkodra odrodziła się w XVII-XVIII wieku; w tym czasie (1767-1773) zbudowano Meczet Ołowiany, pokryty liśćmi ołowianymi. W 1756 r. Mehmed Pasza Plaku założył w Szkodrze, dynastię Bushati, która ustanowiła własne rządy i nawiązała stosunki dyplomatyczne z innymi państwami europejskimi. Za Kara Mamouda Paszy Bushatiego, Szkodra miała 70 000 mieszkańców i słynęła ze swoich rzemieślników. W 1831 roku sułtan zorganizował wyprawę wojskową, aby pozbyć się rządów Bushati. Podczas albańskiego odrodzenia narodowego (Rilindja) w Szkodrze wybuchały powstania przeciwko Turkom w latach 1876, 1880, 1910, 1911 i 1912. Serbowie i Czarnogórcy oblegali miasto podczas wojen bałkańskich, ale bezskutecznie. Podczas I wojny światowej, Szkodra znalazła się pod międzynarodową administracją, następnie była okupowana przez Austriaków, następnie przez Francuzów (1918-1920), a ostatecznie została włączona do nowego państwa albańskiego. W 1990 roku Szkodra była jednym z głównych i najwcześniejszych ośrodków buntu, który spowodował upadek reżimu komunistycznego w Albanii.

Twierdza Rozafa została zbudowana na wzgórzu dominującym nad zbiegiem rzek Buna i Kiri; ma owalny kształt, obwód 600 m i powierzchnię 6 ha. Twierdza i jej siedem wież zostały kolejno przebudowane przez Wenecjan i Osmanów na fundamentach wczesnoiliryjskiej twierdzy. Budowa twierdzy jest związana z legendą Rozafy. Trzej bracia odpowiedzialni za budowę zauważyli, że ich codzienna praca zawsze była niszczona następnej nocy; pewien starzec doradził im, aby zamurowali kogoś żywcem, aby uspokoić demony, które niszczyły ich pracę. Bracia postanowili poświęcić pierwszą ze swoich żon, która miała przyjść następnego dnia, aby przynieść im lunch. Dwóch najstarszych braci ostrzegło swoje żony, a Rozafa, żona młodszego syna, została poświęcona. Przyjęła to, ale poprosiła, aby w murze zrobiono małą szparę, aby mogła karmić piersią swojego młodego syna. Ta ostatnia książka została przetłumaczona i rozpowszechniona w całej Europie i znacząco przyczyniła się do sławy Skanderbega. Gjon Buzuk, pisarz z północnej Albanii o niemal całkowicie nieznanej biografii, opublikował w 1555 r. w Wenecji Meshar (Mszał), serię kazań wygłoszonych na podstawie Ewangelii. Ta 188-stronicowa książka jest najstarszą znaną książką opublikowaną w języku albańskim. Powieściopisarz Ernst Qoliki (1903-1975), urodzony w Szkodrze, studiował we Włoszech i wrócił do Albanii po utworzeniu rządu regencyjnego w 1920 r. Po zamachu stanu Zogu w 1924 r. Qoliki został zesłany do Jugosławii wraz z przywódcami albańskich plemion górskich. Wrócił do Albanii w 1930 r., ale został ponownie zesłany do Włoch w 1933 r. Qoliki przyczynił się do popularyzacji albańskiej kultury i literatury we Włoszech i został mianowany profesorem języka albańskiego na Uniwersytecie w Rzymie. Przyjął mussolińskie poglądy ekspansjonistyczne i został mianowany ministrem edukacji Albanii podczas włoskiej okupacji (1939-1941). W 1943 r. przewodniczył Wielkiej Radzie Faszystowskiej w Tiranie. Po zwycięstwie komunistów uciekł do Włoch, gdzie spędził resztę życia. Najsłynniejszym pisarzem ze Szkodry jest poeta i powieściopisarz Migjeni (Milosh Gjegj Nikolla, 1911-1938). Urodzony w rodzinie prawosławnej, studiował w Barze (Czarnogóra) i Bitoli (Macedonia). Wrócił do Szkodry w 1932 r. i został nauczycielem szkolnym. Zmarł na gruźlicę we włoskim sanatorium 26 sierpnia 1938 r. Jedyny tom wierszy Migjeniego, Vargjet e lira (Wiersze wolne), powstał w ciągu trzech lat od 1933 do 1935 r. ↬ May 10th is Maid Day!! The residents get the perfect idea of letting Sebastian rest for a day while they take care of the chores in his stead... while dressed up as maids. Of course, they need a little guidance about what needs to be done, so naturally, they address Sebastian as their Goshujin-sama and ask for orders!

Napoleon as a maid: The Badass Maid

Initially is assigned to take care of the cooking, and is very skilled at doing so. This maid doubles as a bodyguard! When Master Sebastian is surprisingly attacked by a group of thugs, Napoleon steps in with his rapier in hand - fighting in a maid dress is child's play for him! The long frilled skirts swoosh in the air and the headband is still perfectly secured on his head by the time he's got his high-heel-boot-clad foot on a defeated thug's chest!

Mozart as a maid: The Harsh Maid

This maid will make a disgusted face at you if you're clumsy and spill your tea everywhere, making a mess. Mozart self-appoints himself for everything that involves cleaning, not trusting another maid with this task, as he's quite the pedant when it comes to hygiene. Will scold Sebastian if he abuses his day of leisure by eating in bed. If he's being too cruel, he'll offer to play the piano for his Goshujin-sama as an apology.

Leonardo as a maid: The Lazy Maid

This maid does nothing but sleep! He even gets in the way of the Harsh Maid with his large body blocking the corridor and making it hard to sweep the floor. He doesn't care about manspreading even when wearing a maid dress! But you can't be mad at him, with so many inexperienced maids running around, there has to be someone at the ready for fixing broken gadgets and appliances - he is allowed to nap off the time he's not needed.

Isaac as a maid: The Genius Maid

Managing the budget, listing pending renovations and maintenance work, doing Comte's letter correspondence outside of acquaintances, organizing the upcoming ball... who thought Sebastian did all of this too, on top of his other chores?! Isaac tries his best taking care of these things, which bonds him to a desk for the most of the day - and it's perfect for him, because it means he won't show up in front of the others in this absurd short maid dress!

Vincent as a maid: The Angelic Maid

Vincent's only chore could be radiating happiness, because a room with him in it is a room where smiles and flowers are blooming. This maid has to be kept off the kitchen, and the others ended up telling him to make up the beds instead. Since he got done early with that, Sebastian "ordered him" to paint whatever he wants while he's resting contently in the shade not far from where Vincent happily paints in the garden. His maid dress ends up all covered in colorful stains...

Theodorus as a maid: The Bossy Maid

Wearing a maid dress doesn't stop this maid to be scary when angered! Theo's crossed arms are even more noticeably muscular with the short, frilly sleeves. His job is overseeing the other maids and making sure they're not slacking off. He's a bit of a perfectionist, so much to Sebastian's dismay, he ends up rearranging a whole section of the kitchen or another corner of the mansion to what he believes is more convenient for doing quick and efficient work.

In collaboration with @nad-zeta​ and to keep each other motivated we switched roles. She writes one of my blind dates while I write one of her match-ups. The unlucky victim in this case is @shower-wizard​ who gets an Ikesen match-up from me. Kek. Here we goooo~
