"Who even are these characters?":

Inn Rabbit- Sister to the shop keeper, she runs the Snowed Inn. She will even let you stay for free if you don't have enough money.

Nacarat Jester- They just keep smiling, it's all they can do with the negativity surrounding the underground.

UT Monstersona time!! Meet Natrix, nacarat jester of the RUINs. They come from a long line of royal astronomers, but since they're. yknow. all stuck underground, their knowledge is purely theoretical, lol. Aside from what little glimpses of the sky they can steal from the entrance of the cave, that is. So in the meantime they part-time as a shopkeeper :]

Behold. The orange thing from Snowdin, or I guess they're technically called "red demon" or sometimes “nacarat jester” which just means “red-orange jester” but those are kinda meh so l've taken to calling them orange thing as a place holder. I wanna call them creamsicle but my friends say that that name sucks 3:<

The seller, a Nacarat Jester, perks up immediately at Ram's question. It seems they know their stuff, and are eager to info dump educate about the merits of copper cookware.

"That depends entirely on what you're looking for," they say, eagerly, "Copper heats quickly and evenly, but also loses heat fast once its taken off the stove. That makes it ideal for cooking fish and other seafood, as well as sauces, chocolate and caramel. But if you're looking for slow cooking with a sustained, even heat, like for stews, a cast iron pot would be better."

Ram nods along with the explanation

A little saddened that ram isn’t buying, the nacarat does point him in the direction of a stall with iron goods. After all this spot is all copper

Actually no there’s one more thing I wanted to say. That being, it’s kind of weird that some people frame the fact Toriel failed to keep any of the humans in the Ruins as her singlehandedly condemning them to death at Asgore’s hands, because while she, she didn’t try EVERYTHING she could have, most of her sins are sins by inaction. It’s not like she was purposefully rooting for Asgore to collect seven souls and cause the extinction of humanity. 

Gosh, though, if SHE wasn’t the one pressuring Asgore to collect souls and declare war, who could it have possibly been? It’s not as if monsters such as Scarf Mouse and Nacarat Jester constantly talk about how depressing it is to be stuck underground perpetually... DEFINITELY not like Undyne, Catty, and Bratty cheerfully look forwards to the upcoming extinction of humanity, even as the two shopkeeps sell you things... That would be preposterous... right? 

And even if they WERE, they’re not his ex-wife or whatever, so their opinions mean nothing to him! Nada! Absolutely moot! Which his why he DEFINITELY doesn’t change his mind about fighting Frisk once all his subjects enter his throne room en masse and demand that no one kill each other! That could never, ever happen! 

Wow, it’s such a mystery why Asgore feels like he NEEDS to collect souls despite no longer desiring war, if Toriel isn’t the one breathing down his neck and forcing him to! 

...I am being extremely sarcastic. 

Yeah, Toriel could have done more. And Asgore could have made his own choices. But his kingdom also could have... changed their minds... or the ones who liked humans (like wildly popular idol Mettaton) could’ve spoken out about it more. It feels disingenuous and un-nuanced to place the blame ENTIRELY on Toriel’s shoulders for changing Asgore’s mind. 

(Not to say it was MTT’s fault specifically, just... it wasn’t Toriel’s fault alone.)

Thank you to whoever chose to be a saint and added onto my Undertale wiki edit relating to the Red Demon snowdin NPC

For the longest time, that wiki page, ever since it's creation, has always referred to the red smiling demon npc as "Nacarat Jester". I have no idea how for SEVEN ENTIRE YEARS now, NOBODY has even cared enough to fact check if that was EVER their name. There's so much misinformation out there about their name to the point where everytime I see them, they're referred to with a COMPLETELY made up name by whoever made that wiki page. Really infuriating. I eventually just ended up replacing every instance of the fan name with their official sprite name, "Red Demon". Someone added onto their description explaining why that's their name and added a mention to the unused "Blue Demon" and the amalgamate version of them. Really thankful for that

Do you have any favourite character designs for the minor ut/dr NPCs?

the nacarat jesters! i even based my monstersona on them. other than that, knight knight is a huge favorite in how she remixes the already very "cool" snowdrake design.

Definitely not to most of my blorbos.

No to any of the bad sanses, no to error sans. But also no to ink sans as well, simply for the memory problems and the battles he seems to have to do, idk. On that note, no to Seraphim sans because he only got there due to many bad circumstances.

No to any creepypastas ofc.

I guess I wouldn't mind become papyrus, but he's more closer to no. I'd love to become Nacarat Jester and/or scarf mouse from undertale tho! They don't get killed.

No to any and all bnha characters because I don't think I would become a hero, so no interest there. Some are more no due to childhood trauma and bullying and bad family. This includes the LOV btw.

No to any and all DSMP characters. For similar ans different reasons. A tragedy no matter who you pick. Tailored to the person like a second skin.
