Inn Rabbit- Sister to the shop keeper, she runs the Snowed Inn. She will even let you stay for free if you don't have enough money.

Nacarat Jester- They just keep smiling, it's all they can do with the negativity surrounding the underground.

They come from a long line of royal astronomers, but since they're. yknow. all stuck underground, their knowledge is purely theoretical, lol. Aside from what little glimpses of the sky they can steal from the entrance of the cave, that is. So in the meantime they part-time as a shopkeeper :]

Othertale: a summary

"The Thought" is not the only AT in which Sans took the six human SOULS that were in his majesty's custody. But in another AT, "Othertale," it did not grant him ascension nor freedom.

This could perhaps be attributed to the fact that he absorbed them after he'd already sustained a fatal injury toward the end of a [no mercy] loop, and that time stopped for him as it did for Geno before the SOULS could heal the laceration across his ribcage or the craters in his skull, out of which the multicolored SOUL power burns. Whatever the case may be, though this loop did not last, what happened in it would continue to alter their timeline.

Though he was not [REDACTED] in the... the same sense as me, Sans and the SOULS in his possession were forgotten by the timeline. Without the SOULS or the Determination extracted from them, the fallen were never desecrated or awoken, I'd finished Mettaton's construction sooner and, somehow, Undyne was positioned as Papyrus' sibling in Sans' place, leaving Gerson as captain of the royal guard.

As has been stated before, there is code transcribing reality itself. And there are forces with access to this code. They may be the same forces which Errors such as... such as Geno are in direct contact with. They seem to take as much credit, at least. Based on feedback from an informant widely nicknamed "Blueberror," it seems that the vast majority of them do not interfere with the code itself. Rather, for most of them, their access is limited to influence over Frisk.

In the aforementioned loop that led to Sans' banishment, he'd... made contact with the one of these forces. But similarly, he'd managed to erase his timeline's Frisk. Unfortunately, the force this timeline was dealing with was one such entity who could break into the code and hack it, finding ways to use other people as their proxies. Such as the nacarat jester. In response to this threat, on the day of her piano recital, Undyne was lured into the Void by one of the aforementioned sentry stations. Sans and Dr. W.D. Gaster could not leave, but by bringing her in, Sans could share his powers with her, completing her succession of his role in the timeline to finish the counterstrike he started.

i do be thinking about deltarune 24/7 these days v.v i watch playthroughs pretty often, but I’m honestly kinda surprised i haven’t seen anyone point out bunny lady’s line there? entirely possible someone Has, and i just never saw it but I’m surprised it’s not like. popular?

AND IHAVE BEEN THINKING ABOUT A SHIP NAME EVER SINCE and i can’t come up w anything !!!

part of it is that bunny lady doesn’t. have a name. debatably neither does tasque manager, as that could be a title/occupation instead of a name. and this is going off track but since her brother has a name and it’s Cinnamon, i think i want her name to be something similar to that, like Sugar, Spice, or like. Icing. Icing might be the funniest bc in ut she lived in snowdin. but since she Doesn’t Have A Canon Name i want to keep a headcanon name Out of their ship name if that makes sense. back when i was Really into ut i also got Really into the Unimportant npc characters. i was insane about nacarat jester.

idk the two i keep thinking about for a ship name are ‘whipped cream’ or ‘tasque walker’ but neither of them really stick for me, if anyone else has suggestions id love to hear them !

The seller, a Nacarat Jester, perks up immediately at Ram's question. It seems they know their stuff, and are eager to info dump educate about the merits of copper cookware.

"That depends entirely on what you're looking for," they say, eagerly, "Copper heats quickly and evenly, but also loses heat fast once its taken off the stove. That makes it ideal for cooking fish and other seafood, as well as sauces, chocolate and caramel. But if you're looking for slow cooking with a sustained, even heat, like for stews, a cast iron pot would be better."

A little saddened that ram isn’t buying, the nacarat does point him in the direction of a stall with iron goods. After all this spot is all copper

Actually no there’s one more thing I wanted to say. That being, it’s kind of weird that some people frame the fact Toriel failed to keep any of the humans in the Ruins as her singlehandedly condemning them to death at Asgore’s hands, because while she, she didn’t try EVERYTHING she could have, most of her sins are sins by inaction. It’s not like she was purposefully rooting for Asgore to collect seven souls and cause the extinction of humanity. 

Gosh, though, if SHE wasn’t the one pressuring Asgore to collect souls and declare war, who could it have possibly been? It’s not as if monsters such as Scarf Mouse and Nacarat Jester constantly talk about how depressing it is to be stuck underground perpetually... DEFINITELY not like Undyne, Catty, and Bratty cheerfully look forwards to the upcoming extinction of humanity, even as the two shopkeeps sell you things... That would be preposterous... right? 

And even if they WERE, they’re not his ex-wife or whatever, so their opinions mean nothing to him! Nada! Absolutely moot! Which his why he DEFINITELY doesn’t change his mind about fighting Frisk once all his subjects enter his throne room en masse and demand that no one kill each other! That could never, ever happen! 

Wow, it’s such a mystery why Asgore feels like he NEEDS to collect souls despite no longer desiring war, if Toriel isn’t the one breathing down his neck and forcing him to! 

...I am being extremely sarcastic. 

Yeah, Toriel could have done more. And Asgore could have made his own choices. But his kingdom also could have... changed their minds... or the ones who liked humans (like wildly popular idol Mettaton) could’ve spoken out about it more. It feels disingenuous and un-nuanced to place the blame ENTIRELY on Toriel’s shoulders for changing Asgore’s mind. 

(Not to say it was MTT’s fault specifically, just... it wasn’t Toriel’s fault alone.)
