Today we check out  Amira Willighagen live performance with the Mzansi Youth Choir at the Lexus Pop Classics 2023. Amira Willighagen is a self taught Dutch soprano singer who won the sixth season of Holland's Got Talent in 2013, at the age of nine. Amira Willighagen speaks several languages including: Dutch, Afrikaans, and English because she was born to a Dutch father and a South African mother and grew up surrounded with music.  The Mzansi Youth Choir is a performance choir that represents the best of Sowetan Excellence. The Mzansi Youth Choir was established with the aim of affording talented, underprivileged teenagers and young adults the opportunity to proficiently perform locally and abroad. The word Mzansi means “south” in isiZulu and is also the township slang word for South Africa.
