As per my promise, here they are!

Like Thom says in the video, I was allowed to just go hogwild and do what I liked for Mythix granted I keep a feminine trad fairy look And that's exactly what I did. I namely wanted Mythix to be a total opposite to Ardorix. Ardorix is fairy armor, more trad masc in many ways. And detailed. So. Very. Detailed. So I went in the opposite direction for Mythix. Soft sweet colours and feminine garb, but also not going over detailed with it lol

I also tried to do the wands, but I'm not a prop designer, lol. I do like some of them, at least. Also, there deisgns are based on concept art from season 1-3 (except roxy, there is no concept art of her, so I winged it.)

Winx mythix redesigns are FINALLY done!

So for the main idea for all the transformations, I completely disgarded the ‚prom dress‘ ideas cus

1. They looked nothing like prom dresses

2. They didn't even look like prom dresses

3. Did I mention that they were hideous?

4. They are hideous

So I went a different way.

I asked myself "what do I see when I hear the word 'fire fairy'?"

A fairy with red hair like Bloom?

A fairy made of literal flames?

A person with molten lava as hair?

There is no right to wrong with mythical beings, everyone can interpret them in their own way. So I took that idea and made them more 'in tune' with their own elements!

I left out their wands for now since I wasn't sure what to do with them.

With bloom, I went with the idea of a Fire dancer. Her wings are similar to her mythix one. I tried to make her skin resemble lava and I think I screwed up that part but eh.

For me, being a sky Fairy, I went with a light pastelly sky warrior theme. Speedy, agile and sparkly! I also made the skin slightly transparent cus I thought it would look cool :>

Flora ofc had to be the pretty one. I made her resemble a butterfly, her feet, knees, hands and shoulders are covered with pollen, so she can even pollinate flowers!

Aisha also has a more warrior theme going on. With water hair and even webs on her fingers and ears. Her Main Accessoires are corals and tiny teardrop shaped pearls

Stella ofc has to be one with the sun and moon. I liked the flower she has in her concept mythix design so I gave that back to her. It's a little hard to see but I also gave her tiny blue star freckles :3

Tecna just had to be a robot I'm sorry. She doesn't emotionally change tho ofc. Regardless of her metallic limbs, she has a very human heart and looks badass as a traveling robot ready to kick ass

Musa and Roxy were a little more tricky.

I wanted to show off Musa's Chinese heritage and combined that with a Dirigent. I'm just glad that the combo went really well in my opinion.

Roxy was a lot harder. I eventually settled with a deer-like appearance. And yes she's freaking out the first time she sees her legs turned into that of a satyrs.

Quick Daphne Mythix concept I came up with a few days ago + quick work sketches

The Great Dragon itself, specifically war and wrath

Decided to make her gem purple in the end to signify her no longer holding a barrier between herself and The Flame, which although by the time of her death there hadn’t been one of separation technically as she was the full blown Holder, she always held a great respect for the decorum and structure of ruling towards her parents, specifically her mother (the previous Holder), and was so proud of her title as heir that she greatly enjoyed keeping her blue gemmed ornament. In this transformation though, she would be pissed and tired and selfish and full of rage and sick of it, so,, yeah lol. She’s basically saying “fuck it, I should’ve taken advantage of what I could’ve when I had everything. It was mine after all.”

Alrighty! So!! Referred to this as the Daphne’s Fucking Pissed transformation when talking to @maea-megs

I feel like this would be during her “I’m pissed im alive again and I just want to hurt someone” phase since Mythix came later and this would be the closest she has to her old power

She doesn’t want to be alive again because she doesn’t want to deal with everything. She’s tired and she’s angry and Bloom can’t do what she could. She can’t wield The Flame like Daphne could, can’t conjure great power like it’s nothing, like its as easy as breathing, like it’s what she was made to do (she wasn’t, after all. She wasn’t the first born. She was barely even born at all when Domino fell. She was a desperate last attempt, Daphne tells herself with spite and venom).

Bloom is gracious and merciful, but Daphne finds that hilarious. Bloom has no need to be merciful because she can do nothing that would make anyone ask for it. Daphne though? Daphne could’ve destroyed worlds if she wanted to, whole planets and civilizations. She could’ve gone to war and been the only soldier and she would’ve won.

She had done things that some could consider drastic less times than could be counted on one hand with The Flame in her time before The Fall, but it was in the name of balance and order for all who were involved as a last attempt after all other options had been exhausted, and even then she had exercised such great restraint. She had always exercised restraint. She knew what would happen if she didn’t because she was that good, but maybe that was a mistake. She never truly allowed herself to indulge in anything now that she’s had time to ruminate, to really think back on everything. Almost everything she did she wanted to do, yes, (at least she thinks so. She’s still not sure the more time she’s had to think about it, but that’s a discussion for a later date she thinks) but what about the things she hadn’t done?

She knew their history, she would be a fool not to (Bloom didn’t know. She didn’t really know anything though, still so new to magic itself). There was a reason the words Ash Bringers, Fire Devils, and Daemons among other terms full of disgust and fear were seethed by some still even over 1000 years after Domino’s demise. Sacking and raiding was what they had been good at, their planet and it’s power given to them specifically, no one else. Surely that meant assimilation was what was needed, for who could live in such a way that was equal to them if they hadn’t been blessed with such divine light? Where was there that could not be made better if Dominions were to bless it with their knowledge and power? If that had to be done by force, then so be it. And if that force was not enough? Then they were not going to be adding anything of worth to The Magical World as is, so it would be better if they returned to The Great Dragon. Their energy could be breathed into new beings who weren’t stupid enough to thing resistance would work or be worth it. The Great Dragon gave life, and logically, that meant it should be the one to end it too, and end it, it would.

It is a shameful part of their past, a large part of it too. Only in more recent generations had Dominions finally begun to look upon it properly, with a critical and damning eye that called for condemnation and reparations. Daphne agreed, of course. It was wrong what they had done, and that was why she was so aware of how careful she had to be. She knew the blood that had been spilled so easily and so carelessly with The Power she was blessed to hold, how many cultures had been subjected to what was called Divine Wrath by oppressors who thought they had the right to control anything and anyone just because they could and that it was just because it was in the name of their god.

It was a power that left fields black and lifeless, permanently so, nothing able to grow ever again no matter how much time passed. It was a magic that called forth the stench of acrid flesh and bone dust and rocks stained black for all of eternity if The Holder wanted it to do so.

She knew how it felt, to have it thrumming and vibrating through her whole being, properly integrated into her core, acting as an extension of her own life force, the smallest misstep being the last barrier between her surroundings continuing to live and breath as they are or be decimated in an instant, no proof of anything having ever existed there at all. Just another random dead rock that one would pass by later that same day and assume it nothing more than a long deceased moon (if there was enough rubble left held together for it to even be called that, for it to be identified as anything at all).

She would be lying if she said she hadn’t thought about what it would feel like to feel that power as her ancestors once had, not in the name of imperialism and genocide like they had, but just to see what it was like. She would never let those thoughts linger for too long though. It was nothing more than an intrusive thought, a dangerous “what if”, perhaps influenced by the ghosts of those very ancestors who haunted their lineage and position in The Magical Realm all the way up to present day. But now, now Daphne didn’t have The Flame. She remembers though (she thinks she does anyway. She knows at least that she remembers more than what she has now). Most likely, this is the closest she’ll ever get to what she once had. And she had been so good before, what harm could come that she couldn’t fix if she just let herself be submerged just once in the closest thing she’ll ever get to her old abilities?

She would finally let go of all restraint she ever had and finally indulge in letting the power that has the ability to decimate worlds and cultures with a simple flick of the wrist do it’s thing.

So, basically:

Daphne, floating in a void of empty dead space, dissociative as hell: 🔥🔥🔥🔥👁️👄👁️🔥🔥🔥🔥

Everyone else: ….is she good????

Bloom: I think she just needs alone time:)

Mythix

Mythix is the fairy form that is native to the legendarium's ancestral fairies, who escaped the book to live in the Magic Universe.

Thus, a fairy must prove herself before the Ancestral Wands. In turn, the wand she receives will grant her Mythix. 

this grants her the ability to enter the Legendarium World, and also the ability to teleport themselves in and out of the Legendarium World. The Ancestral Wands grant their users the ability to summon projections of legendary clues by exclaiming "Mythix Insight" or "Mythix Vision". The wands are also used as a homing device for the Fantasy Emerald and the Silver Spear.

Hey, Winx Club Fans....💙✨

Were you a huge fan of the series in its Golden Years from Seasons 1-4? Were you disappointed in the direction the series took from Seasons 5-8? Were you okay with the later seasons, but wished there was something more? Do you wish the characters were expanded more? Well, have no fear because your wishes have been granted....in a way! I came across Thomas Vaccaro or Unicorn of War's Winx Club rewrite of Season 5 & 6 and it's been very entertaining! Season 5's rewrite decides to make some extreme changes by having The Winx stay guardian fairies & teachers/teaching assistants at Alfea since they canonically graduated, having Roxy be their pupil plus 7th member in the group, making Princess Krystal of Linphea more of an antagonist, using more Enchantix & Believix power (with added in Zoomix wings), only having Sirenix as the main transformation this season, and there's even some changes done for our villains too. While Tritanus is still a constant threat alongside The Trix, this season's rewrite is split into two different MAJOR threats! The first half of the season involves The Ancestral Witches while the second half deals with Politea. Each of The Winx have their moments to shine as they're faced with new challenges and new powers. To those who are interested, here's Part 1 of the 2-part Season 5 rewrite:

To those who still aren't convinced, there's a ton of fun material put into Season 6's rewrite! While there are plotlines and continuity that came from the Season 5 rewrite, we still focus on what Season 6 had to offer. The wannabe witch Selina, Fairy Godmother Eldora, the villainous Acheron, and the power of The Legendarium! This time, The Trix aren't interested in being sidekicks to a greater evil anymore so they plan on making their own coven of powerful beings. In doing so, Selina offers to let them take her under their wings so she can use The Legendarium for her and Acheron's gain. Meanwhile, The Winx (especially Bloom) are now in a spot where they're drifting apart leaving them with having to reconstruct their friendship while also having to save the day once more with new powers such as Mythix and Ardorix (yes, Bloomix has been renamed Ardorix for this rewrite). Selina's use of The Legendarium brings out original threats like The Rose King, The Silent Phantom, & The Dark Sirens, but there's also a few returning threats like The Wizards of the Black Circle and Lord Darkar. Thankfully, this season's rewrite gives us some friendly familiar faces like The Pixies, Buddy the Dragon, Princess Galatea, & companions from Cloud Tower. This season's rewrite really uses the concept of the 10th year anniversary to take in nostalgic elements and expand on them. We have the return of previous transformations again, we have the return of Dark Bloom, we have the return of Chimera from Season 3, we have another Hallowinx episode, we have Professor Avalon getting more involved since Season 2, we have Princess Diaspro turning a new leaf (it was noticed before in Season 5's rewrite), we get to know more about Stella's lunar side of the family, & we even get proper yet slightly unofficial backstory on The Trix! The Winx Club are also faced with their own dilemmas in their relationships that they'll have to conquer. If you're still not interested, at least look at these Mythix redesigns made by Tixel Mcquade because they are GORGEOUS! They follow this traditional fairy aesthetic with their magic wands made of their Charmix pins! Here is Episode 1 of the 30-episode Season 6 rewrite:

Personally, I really have to thank Thomas and his team who participated in these projects because they really did fill this hole that I felt regarding my feelings to how the series went after its golden years. The rewrites are so fun to listen to and they're so amazingly well-written. It's so good that I wish it was actually canon! If only...in a different universe. It's a lot to listen to, but I hope you get a lot of enjoyment from it just as I did.

What do you think of each transformation and which ones do you like the most?

I loved the original it's iconic and all the characters look great

I will never see charmix as a separate transformation more just.. a slight redesign of the original

IIIII LOOVEE ENCHANTIX i think probably my least favourite enchantix is aisha purely cuz i don't like the shade of lipstick they chose.

I love love love believix funny enough my favourite believix is aisha i really liked the blue tone on her.

Not a big fan of sophix i think that's the least strong transformation of the season just because lovix is just so much nicer to look at i looove the lilac on musa!

Harmonix 10/10 i LOVED THIS TRANSFORMATION SO MUCH AS A KID i loved the pastel i loved the theme i loved blooms hair with it!!

Then i was super disappointed by sirenix it looks good on some of the girls but i didn't like that they changed blooms hair color to be darker and musa is probably my favorite

Bloomix is beautiful AND DESERVED BETTER CIRCUMSTANCES! it deserved to be the cool aspect of the season instead of mythic because mythix... was so plain it was sooo plain.

I actually liked butterflix i loved the colors but the transformation was too long and boring.

Tynix i dont mind but i'm not a fan of the lighter hair colours

Didn't like either of the world of winx transformations the songs slapped but they felt basic.

And i actually like the potential of cosmix i think flora and aisha were done incredibly dirty in the outfit department and well the style of the season overall is not good

But i think that the pure base concepts of the outfits are good i really like the transparent layers and the space designs!

Winx differences and similarities Masterpost 3/3

Bloom Edition 🔥

I think I didn't really give concrete definition on this. Though that's because I thought at the beginning that it wouldn't have a lot of artwork with similarities and differences so I thought this would probably go fast, but when I realized that there is actually quite a lot I thought that I should basically just call this a project after all. As for the sources of all these I can tell you that all of these artworks are pretty much official from the obvious stock artwork that people have seen so many times and that are easy to find to the ones that you probably see for the first time. So I'm gonna break this into pieces regarding these artworks, aside from the usual ones we already know about:

-Some artworks come from magazines and books, hence why you are able to find rare artwork there and there are probably unseen artwork still that didn't probably seen light of the day as well

-Artwork exclusively from doll boxes, usually rare ones being CGI/3D artwork of girls in their s3 main/casual outfit and more

- Secret of the lost kingdom CGI/3D artwork/stock artwork from Secret of the lost kingdom Artbook, which is super rare since the books is pretty much super rare as well

-Artwork that was edited by 4kids/Nickelodeon that being either longer top for Bloom in Magic Winx form (4kids) and/or Nicckelodeon covering girls stomachs in Magical Winx as well usually seen on Nick's DVD and Book covers

-Artwork from Pomotional images, hence the changes seen in final artworks that are stock arts

Other things:

-Same poses being used with different outfits, some have slightly positioned arm/s or leg/s

-Same poses with same outfits just being redesigned (example: stock art of season 4 Believix and (polished) season 5 Believix art work)

-Girls sharing few poses as well

-Color differnces in unfinished and final design of artworks

-Some artworks for some seasons that are very rare/hardly seen over the years: Couture Artwork of Sirenix: There is previously seen Bloom coloring page of Couture Sirenix art which is without color and there are colored versions (Bloom, Stella and Flora) of course used for merchandise, same goes with couture artwork of casual outfits of season 5, they exist and were seen before it's just hard to find them.

-Examples:

-Just like Mythix 2D stock artwork (Used in magazines and activity books and prob more merch that sadly I don't know about it). Butterflix 2D artwork exists as well, but we only saw a banner with the girls by Rainbow and some artwork (not even full stock artwork) in one game on their official website where s7 casual outfits that also appear in 2D Artwork that is impossible to see anywhere else other than that game

Part two:

The Legendarium

The Legendarium is a magical book that was created by the former Paladin Acheron.

It was made to store information about magical creatures and stories.

These are the Abilities:

Seal away magical creatures

Steal stories/history/legends:

By stealing stories, it also erases the memories of people of that specific story. Here's an example: Imagine the Legendarium wanting to steal the Character Voldemort from Harry Potter. The story would still be the same, yet there will be gaps in the text instead of the characters name and certain actions of the character Voldemort would disappear. There would be an unnamed person who cursed, attacked and killed people. This would leave an incomplete, unreadable and confusing story. This would give the Legendarium the ability to summon Voldemort into the real world as well.

The Legendarium world:

The Legendarium also acts as a portal to the fictional world.

With the help of the Mythix power, fairies can:

enter the fictional world

Bring fictional characters back to the fictional world (have to be careful to bring them back to the CORRECT story. God knows what will happen if Voldemort would land in My little pony....

Temporarily "replace" a character or become an side/background character

Changing their appearance to fit the story (like clothing or certain body features. Like if they have to fit in with aliens, they can use a spell to look like them), but they can stay in their fairy forms as well

Change the story

When entering the fictional world, the mythix fairy is basically an NPC/background character. Also there isn't a time limit and they can leave whenever they want.

They can even chat and interact with the characters and their world without any influence with the story. Like if they wanna be a dragon rider in HTTYD and live on Berk, they can do that. They can even make up certain things without influencing the story

However, they still have to be careful. If they changed an important part in the story, like removing Harry's name from the goblet of fire or becoming the main characters love interest or saving a character instead of letting them die:

They changed the entire storyline.

They then HAVE to change the story back to their original way. If they don't do this within three days, they will become part of the story and become a fictional character. They will lose all their memory of their real life and their powers. They will then take on a backstory fitting to that specific fictional world.

So these are the ideas I have for he Legendarium! It could be that I change a few things, but for now I will keep it like this.

Good news on the Mythix designs: Flora and Aisha are done! Next ones are Stella and Tecna. I'm so excited for Stella's finished design omg.
