Mystrade as Parents
Greg gained custody of his daughters two years after the divorce from his ex-wife
Mycroft had always wanted children but knew it would most likely never be possible because of his sexuality
Mycroft spoils them
(auntie) Molly comes around to babysit when Myc and Greg have date nights.
They adopt their son Wilfred when the girls are finishing high school
Greg's eldest daughter, Charlotte, is starting to train in the police force.
Greg's second daughter, Grace, becomes a lawyer.
Mycroft is very proud of them both and definitely doesn't cry at their graduation
A/N: I made Greg's daughters names up. Idk if they have official names, just tell me if they do
@sarcasstic-jpmvr any more ideas??

Oopsie, I guess my brain is telling me that I'm too influenced by shipping culture than I want to be! I don't even ship Mystrade at all so really, this slip is interesting ;)
Regarding Sherlock: I met far worse in terms of rudeness so I agree! but he does far more than just telling them to shut up though. Telling Anderson that speaking lowers the global IQ of the room is rude, and that it may be true bc Anderson's not very smart doesn't make such a remark less offending imho. I think if I met a guy like Sherlock I would love him bc he would say out loud things that I'd just think, but according to certain social norms/codes we're supposed to follow... He would be considered rude because he doesn't respect these codes. I agree that most of the time he doesn't do it because he doesn't care, but because he doesn't realize that his words can be hurtful. It took Molly to almost cry in ASIB to see how mean his words sounded to her. Those who know him well will forgive him because they know he just doesn't master those social codes that will stop other people to say what they think when they want how they want, but it's still shown as something he needs to at least tone down a bit.
I think Irene showed she was smart when she resolved the boomerang case without even seeing the scene with her own eyes, just like Sherlock did. She also seemed smart enough to understand that if she made Sherlock care for her and played the damsel in distress she would get everything she'd want from him, because it's his weakness, he can't resist that.
That's why it's so infuriating to be finally told that this idea was Moriarty's: from what we knew from her she was indeed perfectly capable of thinking of this plan herself, it was basically how she lived! She shouldn't have needed Moriarty's implication to figure out how to manipulate Sherlock. That's what I personally see sexism in her portrayal: it didn't make any sense in universe except for Moriarty to be involved in a storyline he didn't belong to. The Irene from the ACD canon was smart enough to beat Sherlock by herself. And the trope of making a lesbian woman suddenly want to shag a man is also a sexist trope, as it's cimented in the idea deeply rooted in many men's minds that a woman is a lesbian only as long as "she hasn't found the right man".
That said, since she was written that way I also don't have much sympathy for her, but to be fair too we didn't get a lot of time with her.
And I still don't understand how they thought that John advising Sherlock to call Irene and have a romantic date with her was ever a good idea. I have absolutely nothing against the ship and I could even conceive the idea that Sherlock would want to see Irene again because he was fascinated with her or something, but it could never be a healthy relationship and someone like John should know that. I mean, if Sherlock was my best friend and I genuinely thought he should have a relationship with a woman, I would rather suggest him to give a chance to Molly, who always loved him and who he could always trust, even if I don't ship Sherlolly myself.
I'm just eight minutes in Elementary and I'm already hating it.
Not a good start.

ohhh ho ho ho hoooooo
hmmm
right *rubs hands together* lets goooo
Greg wakes to the sound of nimble fingers hitting the computer keys. He groans, prying his eyes open slightly. "...Myc...?"
His husband turns, already immaculately dressed--as per usual-- a smiled at him. Greg softened. "Wha' issit?" He propped himself up, blinking. "Nee' my help?"
Mycroft rolled his eyes fondly. "What would one get for a young girl for her birthday?"
Greg flopped back down. "Hmm...Just...a toy, I guess. The ones that go--"
Mycroft winced as Greg badly imitated a squeaking animal. "Ya know?"
"...No, I am afraid I do not---HEY, what on earth are you--"
@sarcasstic-jpmvr here you are. Sorry it took so long:,]
