i'll try to be really concise: cordelia carstairs is a poc character from the shadowhunter chronicles who's whitewashed in fanarts

there's a person- we'll call them R- who was... defending the art? being generally racist, overall, saying stuff with no rhyme or reason (also as a woc they do not get any say in the matter. so theres that)

the person you probably wanted to ask about via this ask- we'll call them M- was defending R and um. they said some... pretty wild shit, haha

i'll get this out of the way right off the bat: R and M are definitely racist and you can get first hand proof of that here (aashiifyoureseeingthispleasedonthateme)

i was going to say M might have had good intentions but i just saw their blog and theyre not remorseful, theyre painting themselves as the victim and i am so fucking done with woc people not taking responsibility for their actions
