YES! I just watched both over the last two days and it felt like the second had no heart? Like you said, they hit on “monsters vs robots” and NOT EVEN as well as the first, but everything that made me love the first characterization-wise was gone

heart is exactly what PRU lacked, that del toro soul that shone in mako and raleigh’s relationship developing, in mako and stacker’s relationship, in the unrelenting hope and determination in stacker’s “canceling the apocalypse” speech. the whole movie was about connecting with people, literally! in the drift! and that connection being sacred and powerful!

and PRU turned the drift into something that could be learned, all but ignored except when plot required it which was like.... twice. PRU did not respect these characters, didn’t respect their relationships and the effort that went into their bonds. the creators flat out did not understand the original movie, and it shows through clear as day.

I've heard the complete opposite, actually. From what I've read, people are having a great time with the game. It all comes down to personal preference, though!

It could get 0/10 across the board and I'd still pick up this game. I've been waiting an eternity for it. Nothing is going to kill my vibe.

NONOONONO Use bigwords.com first! It scopes out the cheapest to rent or buy, and I was able to rent my $200 textbook for $20 from Barnes & Noble, and the two books I rented were brand new copies.

well i already bought them. plus some of them were really cheap (my spanish book was only $17) and i only got 3 books. plus i get free 2-day shipping, so there's that.

Same to all, but after scrolling a while, it would tell me to sign in with my email and password, but it didn’t say tumblr.com, it was a weird url with the word sex in it, trying to disguise itself as tumblr. I just signed out while it was all weird.

I’ve been having that all night, too! I actually watched the killcam and was killed by three shots from the BR with full shields. Then my BR shots were doing nothing all night and there were some kids who were just dominating me from nothing.

I would just like to point out that Community isnt on there, and therefor that whole board is wrong.

Community isn't on there because I have catching up to do with it, so I can't watch it regularly till I am.

Besides, I was talking to Dan about the raw deal they gave him back when it happened and I'm not so sure if I even want to see the last season.

I kinda feel like these bastardized last episodes shouldn't be considered canon when they are minus their creator.
