I know Armand wasn't himself for a lot of his relationship with Louis, and that Louis had a lot of grief etc, but... I love that Louis at least (since we see his point of view) seems to know those little things about Armand, like watching the boats at the harbour, knows how to soothe him with the shoulder rub and dozens other things we don't know about. He knows these little, unimportant things, but aren't little things like these that make a life with someone else? And I'm sure that makes the whole breakup even more difficult to get over, because he was there not just for the drama, but for just... routines, everyday life. It's like... you're used to hearing someone's footsteps in the house and you are alone now, but you still expect to hear them, you still turn around expecting to see them.

speaking of Loumand, I think that they would both miss (and get bitter) about simple things like "he would have hated this painting", thinking exactly what the other would say about it, and displaying it anyway cause. An overseas shipment finally arriving and it's Armand's order, not Louis, but something Louis loves too, a surprise from Armand perhaps, how can he know what I like, is this just because he wants to manipulate me, or is just real, I hate him, I miss him. Holding it for a moment and then throwing it away. Armand accidentally grabbing one of Louis' shirts as he leaves in a hurry, it still smells like Louis, it's not something Armand would wear, why should he keep it, it's just over. Louis expecting to hear Armand waking up before him and waking up in silence, wondering for a moment if it's just too early and Armand is still sleeping.

No thoughts, just Louis still having Armand's colonge and opening it to smell it when he is missing him but he doesn't want to admit it, before shoving it into a drawer, promising himself he will throw it away but he never does. Maybe one day he will smell it and he won't think of the love Armand gave him but how he hurt him and then maybe he will let it go, let him go.

my HC that Louis didn't go in the 1500k smut of his sex with Armand, like he did with his first time with Lestat, not because sex with Armand was mediocre, but because simply Armand isn't that comfortable with that and he prefers the fade to black version.

my completely unbiased opinion is that Loumand is much more powerful than they anticipated, like imagine if it was the main ship instead of the other one(s). too powerful, too beautiful.

I honestly don't understand how some people think loumand didn't love each other. They did it wrong, wrong timing, wrong decisions, but... they loved each other and I think they will always love each other even when they hate each other yk?

to me one of the saddest things about Loumand is that they could have been really great together if they had just met under different circumstances, in a different decade. With Louis having accepted his vampirism, being in relatively good terms with Lestat, with Claudia still alive with her own companion. With Armand close to figuring out who he is, without his Coven and with time to heal. I think they might really being something then.
