Up at 4.00 but went right back to bed. Next second I woke up inside our SUV. We were on a long road trip and Kev was behind the wheel. I looked out the window and marveled at the landscape before my eyes. Tiny strips of land in various shapes and hues that reminded me of quilted sheets filled our eyes, and we almost touched the clouds. It took me back to the first time we rode a plane. But how could there be an aerial view and clouds within reach if we were inside an SUV? Weird.

It was before dawn and everything was still covered in darkness. The ride was unusually quiet so I broke the silence and called out to Kev. Treading quietly in the dark somehow felt ominous and I was afraid something might suddenly happen.

Subsequently, our vehicle entered a cave at the side of a mountain with multiple passageways, and as we turned to head out, we found ourselves in the company of thugs. I broke out in a cold sweat.

Before I could make heads or tails of the situation, he was there in a flash. Clad in his casual colored tank top, moss green cargo shorts, tartan plaid grey black bull cap and flip flops, he snuck out nonchalantly through the glass door without being caught (yep, there were glass doors in this cave). I went after him and slipped my hand in his, like it was the most natural thing to do in a situation like this. I gave him a tight squeeze and told him I've missed him. He said he missed me, too. Wow! He was finally speaking to me. Again. End of dream.

In a way, I think he was telling me something. He was teaching me to be bold and fearless like him even in the face of danger. It's the only way to deal with difficult times.

Hello lovelies this last few weeks has been stressful as a family. Aswell as my dad going through some health issues (dad's doing OK BTW) I have been trying to gain weight as stress and the Reactive Hypoglycemia flares up under stressful circumstances and my weight plummeted as a result. Recently I've had a moral dilemma do I tell my truth in the aim that it helps other aswell as myself and others in great need? Oh do I stay quiet and hope that the cannabis prescription for the NHS goes ahead and children and adults alike like my sister Tia can gain access to a safer alternative instead of pharma list of Epilepsy medicines. This quote encapsulates my feelings entirely. THANK YOU my dearest family and friends for resharing our story on Kev and his day in the life of a carer. You we’re holding my hand before the storm and you’ve held the umbrella and walk with me through the buoyant rain. But as the rain gets hefty and the wind drifted the umbrella away, you’ve started to hesitate your every steps. Pulling my hands to stop, telling me that it’s enough. A few more steps I said but instead of going with me, you halt. You slowly let go of my hands, saying there’s somewhere you need to be.  He didn’t held my hand like you did, he didn’t even held anything to protect himself from the brewing storm. Instead, he just walk along with me. He walk through the buoyant rain, he walk through the massive storm. He was just there, taking every step with certainty. A second footfall behind me that became a strong shadow beside me. He didn't get my hopes up, I didn't think about the Prince and his castle or any fairytale like I did when I was with you. Being with him feels like battling in a war with my liegeman. Thoughtless even surrounded by thousands of enemies. He and I might die in that battle  but I’m not afraid because I never felt this alive. He’s a knight but he’s not meant to save me.  This life is not all about waiting for someone to save you. This life is about have someone to fight life with you.  And that’s how it hit me. And that’s how I know that you were just meant to meet me and he’s the one who’s meant to be with me for the rest of my life.
