Un po’ come riuscire a scattare una fotografia e cogliere l’attimo perfetto. Non so perchè tra tutti gli scatti della Claudia a San Francisco questo è il mio preferito. Equilibrio. Devi muoverti per mantenere l’equilibrio. Dobbiamo sperimentare qualsiasi cosa per arrivare a riconoscere quei poteri che ci permettono di muovere l’anima e il corpo nella stessa direzione per evitare di cadere. Ho una direzione, vado avanti. Ho sensazioni, emozioni, idee, energia, imperfezione e bellezza. Ho una valigia di vestiti e scarpe. Luci ed ombre nella giusta misura. Il cardigan che svolazza in un movimento elegante. Lo sguardo sorpreso tra i contrasti, la bellezza, la passione l’intensità dei murales di Mission Street che, dal 1970 rendono il quartiere messicano unico, energetico e vibrante. L’equilibrio, eccolo. Allora esiste. Devo solo cercarlo! National Disability Institute (NDI) Video Contest

NDI is proud to launch its 4th Annual My American Dream - Voices of Americans with Disabilities Video Contest. NDI wants to hear from individuals with disabilities across the country about their dreams and the steps they are taking to achieve them. Whether it's landing a dream job, starting a career, owning a home, going to college, starting a business or taking steps toward financial independence, NDI encourages people with disabilities to share their goals and show that all Americans want the same thing - a piece of the American dream.

In keeping with their mission to build a better economic future for all people with disabilities, the contest prize package will help the grand prize winner take steps toward living his or her American dream.  ONE GRAND PRIZE WINNER will receive:

• $1,000 • A digital tablet of his/her choice • Sessions with a mentor to help the winner take positive steps toward achieving his or her dream

To enter the contest:

1. Create a video no longer than three (3) minutes in length that shares your American dream.

2. Upload your video to your YouTube Account. Don't have one? Signing up is easy and free. Visit YouTube.com.

3. Send your video URL, your full name and phone number by September 9, 2014 to mydream@ndi-inc.org.

America will vote and select a winner from five (5) finalists beginning September 29.
