Surprise Wuthering Waves post! In which you all get to hear my real name, but that's OK because I won the kissed print from Alex Jordan (Jiyan)'s live stream today! Shai Matheson (Scar) picked and announced my name from a lottery draw and James Day (Aalto) added to the celebration 🎉 They're such a fun group of VAs and I'm so happy!!

My Twitch name is IreneDarling and it was cute how they all seemed to like that with how much they repeated it specifically 🤭 Shout out to Shai for suggesting they send my lottery name to me, too! Also Alex pronounced my name correctly even though I go by Irene online.

It was a dangerous thing for a man to fall in love. Men lose all rationale, all meaning and thoughts if they were to merely catch a glimpse of the object of their affection.

Such a thing was even more precarious if the man in question was Calcharo.

Calcharo, in lack of words, did not know how to love. He was unfamiliar with the soft touch a lover was required to have, the thought of having to constantly shower you with gifts and praises made his stomach churn with nausea.

So, he settled with being a silent observer. In his head that was the best possible outcome he could have. This way he would never taint you but he would also be capable of having you to himself.

Loving you brought no pleasure to Calcharo. He was often found crouching near the group campfire, his gaze distant and heavy, the grip on his weapon was so tight that the men around him were positive that if anyone dared to even approach him in such a daze, their head would be chopped off clean from their shoulders. His heart would ache so badly, Calcharo felt as though thorny vines had manifested deep inside of him and conquered his soul, leaving him powerless.

He made a rule that he will never, ever, allow you to touch him.

If he felt the gentleness of your skin on his own, there would be no going back. He would be lost deep in the abyss.

His love only brought him pain. And like the madman that he was, he continued to fall even deeper under your spell.

He was not sure if he was ready to face the pain of the absence of your presence.

Your dragon lover who comes home to you after a long time spent apart and goes to immediately hug you from behind, his arms locking you in his loving embrace and you can feel his heartbeat against your back. He is nosing at the crook of your neck, breathing in your scent that lingers with the smell of spices and herbs from the meal you're preparing. He loves you so much, and he tells you so. Not only through words but the way he holds you as if you're the sole provider of oxygen. The way his teeth lightly nip at your supple skin, leaving behind little faint marks of his love, all over your shoulders and on your nape. He is pawing at your hips, begging you to just come to the couch, to bed, hold him or let him hold you, just allow him the time to be close to you. Allow him the time to show the parts of his love that his words fail to describe. And when you give in you find yourself below him, his head on your chest listening to the drumming of your heart that he couldn't directly kiss. Your fingers are combined through his hair, creating separations in his locks before messing it up gently once more and starting over. His low, quiet sounds of pleasure tell you all you need to know about how he's enjoying this, low and soft grumbles urging you to keep going. Any more of this and he'll start purring on your chest like an oversized cat, but neither of you would mind. Not when he's holding you like his most precious treasure, wrapped around you like a rope, and not when you hold him so tenderly.
