Museum of Broadway
For this weeks study tour we went to the Museum of Broadway. Although I don't know much about Broadway shows I have seen quite a few. My favorite part of the museum was the costumes, they were all so beautiful. I was a dancer for 15 years so I love all things costumes.
This is one of my favorite costumes from the museum. Although I'm not sure which show its from, I love all the crystal details and the top hat. The skirt in the back looks heavy and probably hard to dance in. Having to preform in this costume is definitely difficult.
Another one of my favorite costumes. Phantom is such an iconic show. I've never gotten to see Phantom getting to learn about it at the museum was very interesting.
These costumes are from A Chorus Line. This is a show I've seen before, but not on Broadway. This show is super fun and has a lot of dancing, which I love. The costumes for the most part of the show are plain clothing and then the finale number the dancers change into these costumes. It is such a wow moment and the change is extremely quick, maybe 20 seconds.

ALL HAIL THE DEMON AU
In this Au, ALL types of demons are looked up to as high class, celebrities, saints even. The top demons are Demon Bull King, Princess Iron Fan, Spider Queen, Scorpion Queen, Lady Bone Demon, Nezha, Chang’e, The Gold Twins, Six-Eared Macaque and of course, Monkey King. Everyone respects them like saints, worshiping them, holding events and celebrations for them. Every year, all types of demons come together to celebrate the Anual Èmó Festival. A week long festival where demons come out of their lands to the city of lanterns to attend the festival where they are treated personal shows, dances, feast and more. Everyone has an opportunity to present and perform in front of them, maybe even a chance to meet them up close.
LMK Characters:
Mk: Mk goes to the festival, hoping to preform and met Monkey King. He does and actually gets quite well acquainted with Monkey King. Leading to him being announced as his successor, (think of Kung Fu Panda).
Mei: She’s nervous of the festival because she too wants to be recognized as a high class demon, hoping that when going to the festival, she’ll be moved up the ranks.
Tang: In this Au, (and mostly because he’s my favorite character), he’s not only a perfertional story teller of demons but also a hidden-identity dancer. Tang’s life is just basically perfect and just the way he wants it, until Monkey King and along the other demons recognize him as someone else… at least that’s what it seems.
Pigsy: He wants to be known for his famous noodles by the demons. But once meeting the Monkey King, like Pigsy, he can’t help but feel he’s known before…
Sandy: He just comes along the ride, but once meeting the Monkey King, like Pigsy, he can’t help but feel he’s known before…
Demons Red Son: It’s his first time coming to the festival, he’s quite fascinated by it, being able to see the humans up close. Turns out that the reason his parents brought him was to find him a mate…
Mayor: He holds the event… that’s it…
Monkey King: He often comes to the festival but hasn’t in years, not after his brothers and master have sadly passed away. His dearest friend/brother (yes I’m making them brothers so sorry shadowpeach shippers…) , Macaque tries to convince him to go. Thankfully this year he does, hoping to find a successor to take his staff as he plans to retire. (His staff has been behaving odd, as it wishes to move on to another holder)
Macaque: Him and wukong are still close firends/ brothers. He use to go with Wukong to the festival but since his brother lost his master and other brothers, he didn’t want to go alone.(yes he has social anxiety…) After years of convicing his brother, they go. Only for Macaque to meet a certain… human… who he is quite… fascinated by.
DBK and PIF: They go to festival to feel remembered and to get away and have some… privacy~
Spider queen: She goes cause she’s such a attention seeker, plus to get people in her kingdom.
Scorpion Queen: Lonely girl just wants to find friends and maybe a mate.
Lady Bone Demon: She takes the festival quite serious. Not wanting anything to ruin the perfect week.
Nezha: It’s his break from guarding the Fire of samahi map, he also quite enjoys the festival.
Chang’e: Like Nezha, it’s her break and a chance to get off the moon and go back to earth.
Gold Twins: Up at their mischievous ways, (might add more)
might add more to the story in the future :0

Miss Red and Mister Snow
It's a busy day in the bar as usual. Langa weaves through his many patrons, the smell of alcohol and cigarette smoke filling his nostrils with every breath. If he wasn't already used to this overwhelming mixture of scents, he probably would have thrown up by now. But, in his job, this sort of thing is normal.
The same could be said about the uproarious noise, men and women talking to each other about their days and lives. The music from the jazz band playing loud enough to be heard over the chatter, the clinking of ice and the mixing of beverages. Even the stomping of some tenants' feet.
Langa ignores it all in favor of getting to the front of the usual crowd, finding his reserved table. No one but him and the people of his choosing are allowed to sit here, the very best seat in the entire bar.
Tonight a new group of flapper dancers are coming into preform, after months of negotiation on both ends. Neither wants to be found out or linked back to the other, so they had to sit through many, many discussions. They finally found a day and a way for the group to sneak in without being suspected of anything, and currently, they are getting ready in the backstage area.
They should be out any minute now, which is why Langa is already sitting at his table. He crosses one leg over the other, his recently cleaned black shoes shining in the stage light. He'd slicked his hair back today to keep it out of his face, and he's wearing his favorite blue pinstriped suit, with the matching pair of pants to go with it. He'd like to make a good impression on this group in case he likes them, and would like them to partner up with his bar and business. After all, he does not yet have a regular flapper group that attends his bar even though they've been open for half a year now.
All of the best bootlegging bars have a regular dance group and jazz band. And while Langa has the latter, it's been hard to find a dance group to his liking. He's picky like that.
A moment later, and the lights flicker off. The crowd of people fall silent as the stage lights turn on one by one, revealing a small group of flapper dancers, all with their own colored dress. They're all beautiful in their own right.
But Langa can't look away from the lead dancer, who's dress is a bright red with black stripes going down from the shoulders to their stomach, where a large, intricate pattern is formed. If Langa looks closely, he could see that the pattern slightly forms a hibiscus flower. The black lines continue past this flower design, and create flaps at the bottom of the dress. Orange jewels and gold, hanging sequins decorate the black lines of the dress, and the girl’s hair- redder than her dress- is smoothed back into a bobbed, slick style that is so popular with the ladies right now. A golden band of beads is weaved into her hair, which dangles a little on her face.
She's wearing a pair of golden slippers that open on the top and close around the toes. Even these shoes have red jewels on them on the top of the area her toes would be.
She's standing at the front of the stage, one hand holding a microphone close to her lips, while the other is propped on her propped up hip. She’s smiling, a beautiful sight that Langa wants to take a picture of and hand on his wall. He would even find a way to make the picture colored so he could see her in all of her beauty. Her lips are colored with a brig red lipstick to match her dress, and her lashes are fluffed up by mascara.
“Hello everybody!” she says into the mic, her playful tone evident in her voice. She has a similar lilt as other flapper dancers, that sounds amazing in her voice. The crowd is a mixture of calls and wolfish whistles. They must think she's cute, too. “How are y'all doin’ tonight?”
There's more hooting and clapping from the crowd, cigarette smoke making a thin cloud over the audience. Langa can't stop staring at this flapper; she’s gorgeous.
“Well, that is great to hear!” she continues, flashing a bright grin at the crowd that has basically devolved into a pack of animals from her appearance alone. She seems unphased by it- probably used to this reaction. Langa isn't, though, and he wants nothing more than to punch anyone who so much as looks at her the wrong way. She shouldn't be treated like a piece of meat. “You all can call me Miss Red!” She then looks over at Langa, and does a small curtesy in his direction. He nearly passes out under her gaze. “And I'd like to thank Mister Snow over here for lettin’ us come in tonight.”
Langa nods his head in response, since he doesn't know what else to do. She merely winks at him and he nearly passes out all over again.
Then, Miss Red claps her hands together and backs up into the line of other dancers. The lights brighten to shine off of the sequins and jewels attached to their dresses, and they start their routine, first with the Charleston before moving into the foxtrot.
Langa tries to watch a few of the other dancers, but his eyes keep drifting back Miss Red’s pretty face. She does the unthinkable after a few minutes of dancing; she starts seeing a song, which the jazz band seems to know, as they play along with her voice. Her singing voice is beautiful and powerful, echoing around the clamor of clapping and howling men:
“Now look me over carefully
All dolled up from A to Z
Guess you wonder where I'm gonna go
I'm excited, I'll admit
And you don't know the half of it
I'm gonna meet the one that I love so
Hey, hey, clear the way
Looks like this is my lucky day
I'm gonna meet my sweetie now
I can't be annoyed
Am I happy, am I overjoyed
I'm gonna meet my sweetie now!”
She sings it beautifully, and Langa loves her take on the popular song “I'm Gonna Meet My Sweetie Now”. He may even like it more than the original version, with the way she sings the verses and words, and the way the jazz band is playing as an energetic version of the song.
“Hey-hey-hey, just got through
Manicure and a good shampoo
I'm gonna meet my sweetie now
Yes indeedy, just got a brand new hat
Brand new this and a brand new that
I'm gonna meet my sweetie now
When I think of how his arms come stealin'
I'm so nervous, girls, you know the feelin'
I'm just nearly wild
Come on, mother, and save your child
I'm gonna meet my sweetie now!”
The dancers switch to the scandalous shimmy, causing the hollering from the crowd to double. Their dresses flip this way and that, looping around their thighs and almost rising higher than they should as they dance with a partner, pressing so close that the men cheer. Langa feels his face heat up. He doesn't see the shimmy very often, and to see Miss Red going through the steps makes him hot. It's also banned in most places, so you don't see this style as often as say a black bottom or foxtrot.
Then, Miss Red peels from her partner- a tall, dark woman with piercing eyes- and approaches the microphone once more. She catches her breath before finishing the song:
“That's all!”
The jazz music dies down and every flapper in the group bows, before exiting the stage, even as the crowd calls, “Encore! Encore!” Well, it doesn't seem like they're getting an encore. Instead, they get blown kisses and dainty waves of goodbye.
Langa stands up, because now he has to meet these amazing women (Miss Red) and ask them to become regulars. He could pay them handsomely; he has more than enough money to spare from bootlegging. He slips to the backstage, and follows the twisting of the balls until finds the changing room. He doesn't barge in, just in case they're still changing, but does knock.
The door cracks open, revealing Miss Red’s pretty face. She still has her makeup on and hasn't changed yet, but she does have a pair of pants beneath the skirt. When she sees who it is, she offers a shy smile and courtesies for him once more.
“Mister Snow,” she says in greeting. She slips through the crack she'd made in the door to stand with him in the hall, her hands clasped behind her back politely. “What did you think of the show? Hope it was to your liking.” She winks at him, and Langa could feel himself getting hot all over again.
He clears his throat, and nods his head. “It was amazing,” he replies, keeping his dignity about himself. “And you were especially amazing.”
Miss Red chuckles at him, and he loves the sound. He's starting to love everything about her. “Well I'm glad you think so,” she says airily with another small smile. “Now, what did you need, honey dear?”
‘Honey dear’. Langa is going to lose it. If anyone else had called him that, he would have snapped at them. But it sounds so good when it's coming from Miss Red.
“I was wanting to discuss with your manager about you becoming regulars here at my bar,” he explains, and clasps his hands behind his back. She's a tad shorter than she is, but she holds herself well enough that it's as if she is the same height as him. “Where is he?”
“Right here, darling,” Miss Red answers, taking Langa by surprise. He blinks owlishly at her, shocked by her answer. Usually, a flapper group such as this would have a man in charge to arrange things. Maybe the man they’d sent to the meetings had just been a connection, so that it wouldn't trace back to them. There aren't many women who take charge of this sort of thing, if at all. She smirks at him, resting a hand on her hip. “You look shocked.”
“Well- I'll be honest, I am,” Langa replies hesitantly. “But I find it amazing that you manage your own group. Sorry to have implied you were a man at all.”
She laughs a bit louder than before, like afternoon bells chiming. She covers her mouth with one of her hands, and says, “Not to fear. I am both, after all.”
Once more surprised, Langa gawks at her, mouth opening and closing like a fish out of water. “Excuse me?”
“You heard me right,” Miss Red says nonchalantly. “I am both a man, and a woman. I can be whatever you'd want me to be.” She winks at him while saying this last part, and even though he’s saying he's a man, he feels his face heating up all over again.
“So… you go by both male and female?” Langa asks slowly, trying to unravel it in his brain.
“That is correct, darling,” Miss Red says in confirmation. “If that is too strange for you, or changes your opinion of our group, then we shall take our leave once we've received our payment.”
He’s going to enter the dressing room, but Langa reaches out and grabs her wrist before thinking. She pauses, and looks back at him with a raised eyebrow.
“No!” Langa exclaims. “I don't quite yet fully understand it, but my opinion of you and your group has not changed. You are still welcome to become the regular dance group here.”
Miss Red peers at his face, as if trying to see if he's lying. He presses his lipstick painted lips together, before smiling at him once more. That smile is driving Langa insane, just like the rest of her….
“Well then, I'll take your offer up on that,” she says eventually, and slips her hand against his, intertwining their fingers together. Langa’s face becomes so hot he's afraid it's going to melt off. “As long as the pay here is good enough for my girls. We need to make a living, after all.”
“I'll pay you double than the average fee,” Langa replies quickly, and Miss Red’s eyebrows shoot up to her hairline. He smiles, nodding eagerly. “You have my word that your girls will always be safe and taken care of here. And I always keep my word, Miss Red.”
She hums softly, and then brushes her fingertips along the curve of Langa’s cheekbones. He goes still, her touches gentle and featherlight. She leans in close, their breaths mingling. “Well, I wouldn't mind the view out in our crowd, either,” he says, and Langa swallows heavily at how deep his voice has become. This is scandalous, getting so close to a lady after just meeting her, but he can't resist, especially when she’s the one initiating it. “You do have a pretty face, Mister Snow.”
He lets out a breathy laugh, butterflies forming in his stomach. “How can you say that when you're standing in front of me, hm?” he says, deciding to flirt back. Her eyes widen, and he sees a flush of red bloom across her cheeks. Rex really is his color. And it's starting to become Langa’s favorite. “You're the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.”
“Oh, you're just too much!” she says with laughter, playfully pushing on his chest. He stumbles a little, taken aback by his strength. She covers her mouth once more as she laughs, the red still painting her cheeks. He has freckles, Langa realizes. They just make her appear ever more beautiful. Especially when paired with her shining, honey amber eyes.
Her laughter tapers off, all the while Langa waits patiently for her to finish, softly smiling at her. Miss Red takes notice of this, and snorts softly. “Anyways, Mister Snow, I really must get back to cleaning up. Would you like us to come back tomorrow night, same time?”
“That would be splendid,” Langa replies easily. He catches her hand again, and brings it up to press a kiss to the knuckles. She huffs out a laugh at the action, and when he looks up he’s rolling his eyes. But, that red blush is still on his cheeks, an even darker shade than before. “It was nice to meet you, Miss Red.”
She pauses, before saying, “Do call me Reki, Mister Snow. That's my real name.”
Reki. It fits her.
“Just don't go announcing it everyone you run into, you hear?” she says teasingly, and he quickly nods.
“Of course not, Reki,” he replies. He hesitates for one moment before saying, “And you may call me Langa. Same rules apply.”
Reki smiles at him brightly, taking his breath away all over again. He should ask him out on a date, so he could see her outside of the bar, too. But his jaws lock, words getting stuck in his throat before he could. If Reki was both a man and woman, wouldn't that make him gay? And while he doesn't have a problem against gay people, he's never thought himself to be gay.
“Of course, Langa,” she says, and Langa likes the way he says his name. “Goodnight, darling.”
“And goodnight to you,” he answers, and they nod to one another.
Then, Reki opens the door, a burst of squealing and laughter from the other flappers erupting outside. She giggles, before heading inside, closing the door behind himself.
Langa stares at the door for a few minutes longer, wishing that he could call Reki back and invite him to go out together at some point. Men go out together all the time. It didn't have to be a date.
But his heart is racing too fast, and the thought of asking makes his very breath falter. So instead, he heads back to the bar, ready to start the closing preparations.

Light as a feather
Blurb night: Light as a feather- 1.1k
(Request: Imagine harry playing the piano and you dancing looking like an angel ugh)
Ballet was an art that Y/n had been studying since her mother put her in her first class at only 2 years old, and even as a toddler she fell in love with the dance. Now in young adulthood, she practiced and preformed for the most prestigious Ballet school in London. She spent thousands of hours of her life practicing, improving, perfecting her talent and finally her work payed off when she was offered a spot on their competitive team.
The day she got the letter in the post was probably the best day of her life. she remembers clearly when her boyfriend, Harry, had come in the flat after a run holding the parcel in his hand with a grin on his face as he handed it to her. The pair had celebrated her achievement that night with champagne, and a few rounds of celebratory sex, yet that same joy fills her chest every time she scans her ID card and opens the big golden doors of the school.
Today was a special day, she had been given a private one on one lesson with one of the teachers to get down her routine for the upcoming showcase in Wales and on top of that they were allowing her a 3 hour chunk that evening to practice alone in studio b. She thought she couldn’t be more excited until her love had texted her to let her know he was coming to spend her private practice with her, even hinting he’d bring her a treat as well.
__
Y/n had just finished her private practice, Mrs.Lanning had praised her before leaving to go home and giving Y/n her time to rehearse on her own. The girl was now seated on the floor, the tall mirrors lining the walls reflecting the image of her stretching her feet and taping them during which the door swung open after a light knock revealing a smiling Harry and a paper bag in his hands.
“Hey pretty lady, I brought your favorite” Harry situated himself on the floor with her, leaning his back against the wall while he fished the container of fruit salad and a blueberry bagel with vegan butter instead of cream cheese, since Y/n usually avoided dairy before big shows because it made her skin act up, her makeup didn’t lay as nicely then. It always made her smile how Harry remembered little things like that, it always gave her reassurance that he really did care.
The pair talked about their days, and upcoming plans as they ate their snacks both sharing a iced green tea with two Splenda’s just like she always requests it, He remembers.
With a cheek full of melon Y/n started to speak, “Can you help me finish stretching m’ feet and taping them up? Going to practice in my point shoes now.” While some guys would be rude or grossed out by dancers’ feet, they tended to be bruised and often having some scabs and scuff marks on their skin from the labor they put on them, Harry was never bothered by helping Y/n out. He could appreciate physical sacrifice for art, he never found it gross and he’d even massage essential oils and oragel onto her feet and toes at night to help soothe and numb them after a long day of dancing, it’s an old dancer trick to use tooth numbing gel on their toes.
“Mhm, lay ‘em on me sister” Harry held his hands out, big palms up for her to rest her foot on, using his thumbs to press into the arch of her foot so she could get a good stretch to the point of her toes. He then held her heel with one hand and used his other hand to put pressure on the top of her foot to held stretch her calf muscles and work out any kinks in her ankles or the ball of her foot. Harry then moved on to cracking her toes, rolling her ankle and giving the ball of her foot a nice little rub before moving onto taping her pinky toe to it’s neighboring one using some first aid tape on her big toe, wrapping it around the knuckles on her toes as well. When her right foot was finished, he moved to the left, repeating his actions while she powdered the inside of her point shoes. Y/n made sure to stretch the sole of them, getting a nice crack out of the material to help loosen it up since they were a fresh pair. Making sure to get them ready to be broken in without hurting her too bad.
With a few pained grunts she managed to get both feet securely placed in her dance shoes, her feet tired and sore from hours of dancing but she didn’t care. She would dance till her feet go numb just to make sure her performance was perfect.
While Harry watched his girlfriend warm herself back up on the ballet bar, he migrated towards the piano off to the side of the room eyeing the sheet music littered on top of the wood picking up the few pieces that had her initials on it. Once he had put the music in order he set it in front of him, sitting on the bench getting himself comfortable before he started playing the slow lyrical piece. It was light, pretty, yet still held a good tempo and when paired with the angelic, fairy like dancing of Y/n the music seemed to come to life and tell a story.
The girl was light on her feet, moving as if dancing completely on your toes was effortless and the easiest task in the world. Her feet never sickled, she moved with purpose but never lost her grace and elegance. Every turn, Grande Jette and bow was impeccable. He’d truly never seen something so elegant and gorgeous in his life.
When the music reached it’s last cord, and his fingers still on the keys Y/n finally looked back at him giving him a sweet smile as she took deep breaths, only then did he realize how physically taxing such a angelic piece was. He’d never felt more proud to call her his angel, he’d never seen anything as beautiful as she was in this moment.

The Best Concert Ever
Aaron Conners X F Reader
Warnings: None
Requested by: @lovserfile
Tonight was Y/N’s third date with Aaron. Things had been going super great between then, but Aaron has yet to make a move. Nonetheless, she was excited to go out with him again.
Aaron didn’t tell Y/N where they were going, but he told her to wear comfortable clothes. She decided to wear her favorite Billy Joel shirt, a flannel, skinny jeans, and black high top Converses.
Y/N hears a knock on her apartment door. She opens it and sees Aaron standing there with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. She lets him and pulls him into a hug.
“Aaron, these flowers are absolutely beautiful.”
“And so are you. By the way, you’re shirt is totally awesome.”
“And so is Billy Joel.”
They both laughed as Y/N found a vase to put the flowers in. He watched her sit the vase on her kitchen counter and make her back to him in the living room.
“So, are you ready to go?”
“Yeah, I think so. Are you gonna tell me where we’re going?”
“Nope. It’s a surprise.”
Y/N rolled her eyes playfully and grabbed her purse. They made their way out of her apartment to the Uber he had waiting for them outside. The drive from her apartment to their destination took a little over an hour.
When the car stopped, they climbed out, and Y/N saw they were at Madison Square Garden. She turned to Aaron who had a huge grin on his face.
“Why are we at MSG?”
“Because I have these.”
He pulled an envelope out of his jacket pocket and handed it to Y/N. She opened the envelope and pull of two tickets to the Bill Joel and Elton John concert. Y/N screamed as she read the names on the tickets.
“You got Billy Joel tickets, and they’re front row?!”
“Yeah. That’s the perk of being a well paid orthopedic surgeon. Now, are we gonna stand here and scream, or are we go enjoy the best concert ever?”
Y/N wrapped her arm around Aaron’s as they made their the doors of the arena. They found their seats, and of course, they were sitting at center stage.
Elton John came out first, and his performance was amazing. He sang three of Y/N’s favorite songs, “Tiny Dancer”, “Bennie and The Jetts”, and “Rocket Man”. Aaron even sang to some of the songs he performed.
After Elton played his last song, there was an intermission, so the stage could be rearranged for Billy Joel. Aaron went and bought him and Y/N a water.
The lights in the arena went out, and everything flashed red. Billy’s first song out of the gate was “We Didn’t Start The Fire”. He also preformed “Piano Man”, “Movin’ Out”, and Aaron’s favorite, “Uptown Girl”. He smiled, danced, and sang through the whole song. Y/N noticed how happy he looked, and it made her heart warm.
The concert came to and end, and of course, Y/N had to get a new Billy Joel shirt. Aaron offered to pay to pay for it, but Y/N refused saying that the concert ticket was expensive enough.
They got into another Uber, and Aaron have the driver his address. They talked and laughed the whole ride to Aaron’s apartment. They exited the car, and made they’re way into Aaron’s apartment.
Y/N sat her things down on his kitchen island and turned towards him. He looked up from his phone and smiled at at her.
“I just ordered some raviolis, and they’re gonna he delivered in about 20 minutes. Is that okay with you?”
“Yeah, of course. I love raviolis.”
The raviolis came, and they sat and ate while watching and laughing at SNL reruns. Y/N looked at the time and noticed that it was getting pretty late. She stood up and stretched her arms, then walked over to the island to grab her stuff.
“Where are you going?”
“It’s getting pretty late. I figured I’d head home, so you can get some sleep.”
Aaron stood up and walked over to her. He took her stuff out of her hands at sat them back down. He put his arms around her waist, pulling her closer to him.
“You don’t have to leave. You could stay here if you want to.”
“Are you sure? Because I don’t want to intrude-“
Y/N was interrupted by Aaron placing his lips on hers. She wrapped her arms around his neck deepening their kiss. When air became a necessity, they pulled away, and Aaron moves his hands to her cheeks causing her to look at him.
“You’re not intruding. I want you to stay, please.”
“Okay, I’ll stay.”
“Come on. Let’s go to bed.”
Aaron smiled and placed a soft kiss on her lips. He pulled away and grabbed her hand, leading her to his bedroom. He gave her some comfortable clothes to change into. She went into his bathroom to change, and when she came out, she saw him standing there shirtless with gray sweatpants on.
“You look great in my clothes.”
“Thanks. They smell like you.”
They climbed into Aaron’s bed, and he immediately wrapped his arms around her, pressing his front against her back. With in minutes, she heard soft snores coming from the man who’s arms were wrapped tightly around her. She chuckled quietly to herself and dozed off to sleep, thinking about how happy she was to be in Aaron’s arms.

So @sleaterkenny tagged me in this top albums of 2019. Idk if they knew what they were getting themselves into with giving this to a music major who can’t shut up but I love this. The thing is I don’t really listen to new music so like I’m just going to talk about what I’ve been listening to and try to throw in currentish stuff. Also it’s not in any particular order. Also if you like my opinions and music choice listen to my radio show at wmxm.org every Tuesday from 5-7.
Wild flag by willd flag
- this is one of those “super group” with Mary Timothy from helium and Janet Weiss and Carrie brownstein from sleater Kinney. They only ever put out this one album but like I still really want more from them. Currently I’ve been loving future crimes. It has such a longing to it at the same time it’s incredibly strong. It’s like raw unhinged Carrie and I love it. Romance is also really fun. I like how his album tackles these big things then has songs like romance and boom that are just like fun and flirty.
Prom queen by beach bunny
- so it’s a local Chicago band and I’m becoming obsessed. It’s a female fronted band and I really think they are about to like break out. They have the thing some riot grrrl bands do which is cutesy but still kick ass. The titular song prom queen is probably my favorite. It talks about beauty standards but it’s still a bop. It also like alludes to an eating disorder so trigger warning but for me personally it reminds me that I’m not totally alone yf. Also that makes the song sound super depressing but it’s a break up bop I promise.
Le Tigre by le Tigre
- so god bless Kathleen. Kathleen is also from bikini kill and she’s like such an icon. Every song goes hard. Hot topic is super great it’s just like funky background with Kathleen belting important women over it. My favorite is deceptacon. It’s just fun and bratty. They use their instruments in such a interesting way. It’s so clear that everyone is just having fun. Every song goes so hard.Potty mouth by bratmobile- okay so like iconic it’s part of the birth of riot grrrl I love it. Okay so their cover of cherry bomb. Like I think I went off about this already but I love how girlie it is yet it still commands so much attention it’s kick ass. They take that song that was used to exploit the sexuality of a underage girl and it fucks with the patriarchy. All the songs are so fun. They call out relationships call out men and demand to be heard about everything they want to talk about. I love the way each song feels like they are directly bitching at you
Emerald valley
- this is by filthy friends which is one of those “super groups”. It has corin tucker if sleater Kinney and peter buck from REM. It’s all about climate change and you can tell that everyone is passionate about what they are talking about. Corin Tucker as always tears apart the room with her vocals it’s like a battle cry. Also if you get the vinyl it’s green and I’m a bitch for colored vinyl. Bonus you should listen to despirta which is by them and it’s a fuck Trump ballad.
So this is kinda a cop out but I’m living my best life..
Diomands by Elton john
- so it’s all re-released Elton music but it’s has a super good mix of his stuff. Admitally after watching rocket man I got back into Elton john and it’s like a rennasance. Bennie and the jets is a banger and tiny dancer always pulls at my heart strings. It’s hard to pick an Elton song to be my favorite but I’ve been listening to goodbye yellow brick road a lot and I’m preforming it at my piano recital coming up so I’ll say it’s my favorite
So this definetly isn’t in anyway new but I’ve been loving the age of backwards by the spells
- so this came out in 1999 around right after sleater Kinneys the hot rock. Its a duo with Mary Timothy of helium and Carrie brownstein (of sleater Kinney). It’s a short experimental ep and I love it. So I had to listen to it a couple of times before I could say if it was good or not but I decided i liked it. Carrie sings a lot and I love her voice and the chemistry between Carrie and Mary’s guitars is insane. It’s a lot of entangled riffs and weird affects. My favorite song off of it is can’t explain which is a cover they did of that song by the kinks.
The Woods by sleater kinney
- I know Im suppose to talk about the center wont hold but like truthfully i cant write a whole essay right now and i dont want to get too conversational. what ill say is if you dont like the album youre wrong and dont ever mention janet weiss to me again because im conflicted. Anyway...Carrie brownstien is the best guitarist of our genoration and im being 100% serious when i say this if you dont agree with me youre sexist and homophobic. The woods i feel like is where i can point to and be like are you shitting me listen to these solos. I feel like carrie had always had killer solos but something about this album (and going forward but especially this album) makes it feel even more powerful. Carries guitar is like a fucking weapon and you can feel it cutting you open. Of course corins vocals fill the entire room and attacks anything in it’s path. The fox i think showcases the power of her voice better then any of their discography. As always sleater kinney tackles so many issues and this album goes for everything. The song that really stands out though is jumpers. I remember listening to it the first few times and just being like this shreds but once i really listened to the lyrics i fell apart. I think part if it has to do with the fact i can relate to it but i also feel like its one of the only songs that talks about suicide that doesn’t romanticize it and also doesn’t pity it. Jumpers is like this unstoppable force of nature that is apologetically what it is and is the first song that really captures the epidemic truthfully. I know i havent given a favorite for each album but ill say modern girl is my favorite. It’s really hard to decide and tbh i dont know if its my favorite but i love how antagonizing it is and i guess i liked it enough to get it tattooed on my body.
This is kinda my rap portion of the post
Cherry bomb by Tyler the creator
- so this isn’t one of his most acclaimed albums but I love it. It has the perfect mix between the pure and soft and the fuck shit up angry. I think my favorite is 2seater. The entire thing is so sweet and I love the part where everything changes and he starts singing “I love it when your hair blows” part. I also really like perfect/Fucking young but whenever I listen to it I’m like am I a bad person for liking this? Anyway the entire thing goes hard but is still soft.
American boyfriend by Kevin abstract
- this album is like a hard look at what it’s like to be a black gay man in America. Miserble America completely breaks your heart while at the same time making troy nostalgic for a life that isn’t yours. The whole album addresses really important topic and is revolutionary because it’s an out black man in rap which is huge.
if you read this whole thing thats fucking wild. sorry i can’t fucking spell but this is how i feel about things. i hella loved writing this @crvidae i guess im tagging you but im pretty sure you’ll never end up doing it...

Finding Kurt Hummel: The Purple Piano Project
Masterpost
3x01: The Purple Piano Project
Welcome to Season 3! I’ll try not to whine too much while we’re here, lol :)
The season starts out on a relatively high note, however, making the whole thing feel a lot more promising than it ended up being. This episode is fun and quirky and there are a lot of pianos for Kurt to drape himself on top of!!
Future Plans
So – we start off the season much like season two – Ben Jacob Israel going around and harassing everyone about their summer vacations and future plans.
Do you see the set up of this shot, guys? Rachel chattering in the front while Kurt tries to be distracting in the background? Well – get used to it, because this Hummelberry dynamic is going to drag us through the next two years, guys, lol. No really – I enjoy Hummelberry in this episode, I do. But we had no idea this was a set up for (I’m sure someone will argue me on this) the worst Kurt arc on the show – Getting into NYADA. And, unfortunately, the Hummelberry dynamic (or more so the writer’s obsession with Rachel not being able to fail at anything) plays into that.
Probably going off a rush of a summer where all they talked about was going to New York, Kurt and Rachel have all their future plans figured out. They’re going to get a little apartment on the Lower West Side (yeah, sure), Rachel’s gonna be a big Broadway star, and Kurt’s gonna be married (legally!!!) by 30. Yes – think about what is said here, I know Kurt has Broadway ambitions, too, but I find it funny that his dream aspirations include getting married.
There are two key things I’d like to point about the whole marriage thing. Kurt says by 30. As we find in this season – not before 30 cause that is Too. Young. But also. Yes. Kurt Hummel wants to get married. And I’m pretty sure he already knows who his groom is going to be.
But anyway, thinking about season 2, and how that started in such a dark place for Kurt, here we have the opposite – bright and shining optimism. Oh, kiddo. This really can only go down, can’t it.
Purple Pianos
Kurt: Why’s the T-Rex eating the Jew?
It’s exposition dump time! As we get filled in that the Glee Club remains uncool after the Nationals debacle from last year. Kurt gets his share of funny lines as we get filled in.
Meanwhile – the glee club is three men down; Quinn pissed off the writers again, Lauren was fired, and Sam just couldn’t work out a contract deal. So – Will gets the idea that placing purple pianos everywhere would inspire new people to join the club. I’m not entirely sure how purple pianos are inspiring, but like Kurt, I’m totally on board with the whole thing.
As seen in the background, the moment he can, he gets himself up and draped over one of the pianos.
See – look how adorable he is on that piano!!!
Anyway – Will bores us with another inspiration speech that means mostly nothing since no one joins glee club anyway….
NYADA – School for Witches
Lol – oh Kurt, you’re making the best faces in this episode so far….
First of all, let’s talk about the fact that Emma thought he and Rachel were dating (omg!), and the fact that he actually takes the pamphlet about ‘Me and My Hag’ (Lol). Secondly, let’s talk about these sillies not doing their research on how Julliard is not a musical theater school. At least Emma is doing the job she’s supposed to be doing in this episode!
And then she steers them in the direction of New York Academy of Dramatic Arts. Oh NYADA and my distaste for you begins, lol…. So, this particular school only takes 20 students a year. Hmmm… Looks a lot bigger than that in season 4 but whatever. And the chances that two people from the same school and graduating year getting in? Doubtful. But this is Glee, so here we go!
Competitive Spirit
It’s the first day of school, and Blaine is still a Warbler, but his resolve is crumbling because Kurt is very persistent (and flirty and adorable) in this scene. You know there’s some interesting meta floating around about this scene recently – about their competitive nature and about how Blaine really isn’t /that/ competitive, but Kurt totally is. He doesn’t mind it at all, really, which means, in a way, that they’re on equal footing. Ah, how that is all about to change.
But what Kurt really wants is for Blaine to be around all the time so they can spend every minute of every day together. Oh, Kurt. Be careful what you wish for. But also – interestingly – they spent all the time together back when Kurt was at Dalton, and Kurt wants that little fairy tale to continue by bringing Blaine over to McKinley. It’s obvious they talked about this at length over the summer, but I wonder what Kurt’s (more serious) arguments were for getting Blaine to come to public school.
But anyway – the fun stuff – just how adorable and flirty these two are here! Hands might not have wandered south of the equator, but they were definitely up to stuff over the summer!
We Got the Beat
I’ve always thought Kurt was very pretty in this scene.
I should probably have more profound analysis.
Well, there’s not much to say, other than Kurt’s used to being bullied by the school, and he’s not about to make himself a target by getting up and singing on the lunch tables, no matter how pretty the pianos are.
Year 3 and Kurt’s still an awkward little dancer. <3
This song is nice and fun and energetic. Not really a favorite of mine, but man, what does it take to get this school into anything? Geez!
You know, for someone who is so particular about their clothes – I’m sure this is like the zombie apocalypse. Poor Kurt. I love the food ray shield.
You know, never once in all my schooling did I witness a food fight.
Kurt is just not having it.
Kurtcedes lives! If only to pass along exposition. And to exchange bewildered looks as Sugar sings her god-awful song.
You know it’s funny – I never noticed how seasons 2 and 3 (and 4 actually) openers have plotlines of – let’s open up glee club for everyone! Except not really because we’re a seclusive little bunch.
Velma and Roxy
Small town is small after you’ve been to the big city. But Kurt has a plan, that they’re gonna out preform all the other Ohio hopefuls so they can get a shot at their dreams. I think, for the first time, I kinda get the purpose of this song (other than the blatant relation to Wicked and connection to season 2), but that they’re already counting in their victory against all the other hopefuls. They’re putting their cart before the horse.
Say what you will about Gay Hogwarts, NYADA does attract the witches….
The song itself is a little ridiculous but the performance is wonderful. I love the choreography of this one. And as always sound fantastic together, and this performance is no exception. Say what you will about how Hummelberry was written – and I will say a lot over the next two seasons – Lea and Chris’s voices suit each other wonderful, and the show seems to latch on to that pretty well.
Transfer
Not exactly a pic of Kurt, I know, but Blaine’s so frickin’ gorgeous in this scene. And Kurt thinks so, too!! Look at that grin!
But I’m kinda fascinated by this, now that I think of it, how Blaine’s all – check me out Kurt – in this kind of suave way. And, oh Kurt, kind of caught up in his own drama to even notice that his boyfriend’s one outfit has changed.
But, just, the excitement Kurt has when Blaine’s decided to transfer. OMG! the boy is so happy.
I love that Kurt has concerns – and they are so totally valid. Blaine did transfer to be with Kurt, and that’s going to play a part in some of their bigger issues. But for now, they can reveal in their happiness and not think at all about nasty, nasty break ups.
And – getting Blaine into New Directions. But since the only competition is Sugar, there really isn’t an issue here.
Oh Kurt – so giddy that he’s once again getting sung to in the courtyard. Can this year get any better?!?!
Everything’s great util you light the piano on fire.
Velma and Roxy II
Kurt and Rachel are so ready for this NYADA mixer! Only to find out that while at McKinley they might be special snowflakes, in the real world, they’re a dime a dozen. I like the reality of this scene, tbh. That you can give your 1 in a Billion speeches all you want, there’s always going to be someone else who seems like they’re more talented than you. There are a lot of things Glee misses the mark on when it comes to college. Or theater. And this scene is a bit over the top. But it does show that, hey, there are a ton of people trying to make it the same as you – and so you do have to ask yourself – do you have what it takes to compete? Or do you just walk away.
I think now’s a good time to bring up the Glee Project. I never watched it, tbh, so I can’t judge what kind of a show it was. But I’m not a fan of the results of the Glee Project. And I don’t mean who won and who didn’t (Damien McGinty? Really?). I mean that I have lots of problems with season 3. But I think one of my biggest is that a show with a cast already overflowing now has to shoehorn these winners into the plot. (I mean, think about how much space the show would have had without Rory) Outside of Unique, I’m not really a fan of the characters that grew out of the Glee Project.
That said, Lindsey Pierce was one of the winners, and her little moment to shine here seems perfect enough. She’s a great vocalist, and I’m incredibly impressed by what she does here. This performance is excellent.
Anyway – going back to Kurt’s story. It’s kinda hilarious how perfect a song choice this is – this group of kids basically stating that anything you guys can do Kurt and Rachel, we can do better. Oh Glee with all its subtleties.
So. Kurt and Rachel make it back to the car and break down crying because that’s what happens when your optimistic view point gets smashed. Poor kiddos.
And then we get Kurt gives Rachel a pep talk v.2.0 (yes, i’ll be numbering these). And it’s similar to the Born This Way talk – that Rachel is good enough to get in because she’s still special. The thing, though, as much as I joke around, is that I do honestly like this scene. Because Rachel is in Kurt’s corner, too, supporting him even though he’s down on himself for lack of extracurriculars. The scene is a balanced one, where they both pull each other out of this dark place, and I can really do Hummelberry when this kind of thing happens.
Gay High-five!!
You Can’t Stop the Beat
Oh, I have waited so long to screencap this. There’s a gif out there that’s even funnier though.
Anyway – there’s a ton crammed into this little scene. Blaine joins glee club, which is yay!! But c’mon, Finn, you’re seriously having issues with Blaine possibly taking the spotlight when you and Rachel get all the solos? And Santana’s out for the week. Why is she only out for one week? Who knows. And then, finally, Kurt’s feeling ambitious and running for Student Body President, and Blaine’s super proud of him. Can’t you tell by the still above?
But the moral of the story is you can pull all of the strings out of the purple piano but you can’t pull out it’s music. Or, er, something like that.
Kurt’s feeling light and airy after that handjob. Oh, wait, nope.
It’s funny, I think this episode still holds up. It’s crammed full of things, almost to a fault, but is still funny and endearing and services all the storylines it’s going to be presenting during the first third of the season. I still really enjoy this episode even if season 3 goes mostly downward for me from here.
It’s Season 3 people. Bam!

summary of last night’s concert
• i loved the opening special stages ateez killed sicko mode and the boyz had great formation for bad guy
• txt was first and did crown, our summer blue orangeade and cat& dog. my mom loved their dancing and i was honestly impressed since they only have one comeback out. the whole entire place did “I JUST WANNA BE A DOG WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF” it was so lit.
• younghoon and kevin came out of nowhere doing mcing. younghoon was nervous bc he keep looking at the cards and messed up a couple times but he was adorable.
• iz*one did rumor and i loved their outfits and overall my girls just adorable
• ateez came out and did aurora first I FUCKING CRIED. i said beforehand if they preform aurora I’m gonna cry and sure enough i did. Then they did wave which was so much fun, the presence they give off during their performance is really what sets them apart from other groups. I felt like the entire crowd enjoyed them very much. They moved to front stage and finished wave. Then did a little crowd interaction aka san, seonghwa and jongho songing one call away which ENDED ME. Mingi’s rap in illusion still the top and he kills it every time. Say my Name was INSANE i couldn’t believe they performed it and everyone was so energetic i screamed ATEEZ PRESENT. Hala Hala ended me bc it’s been a fav so long i know the choreo by heart so seeing it live was unreal for me.
• THE BOYZ. They performed no air and right here and i got flashbacks. It was so lit me and the girls next to me both stan them so we were dancing along and having lots of fun but man i love these boys so much. Bloom Bloom is my favorite and it was fun seeing the choreo live and i was dancing along with them.
• Iz*one did airplane, pick me, la vie en rose and Violeta. I enjoyed them bc they’re all adorable and cute and ugh i died seeing my girls especially hitomi and chaeyeon my girl crushes 🥺. They did a little segment called yes or no. First was does iz*one have telepathic ability? Three of the members had to make the same pose after a keyword. It was funny bc most of the time they didn’t get it but they lied so they would complete the mission to give gifts to the fans. Next they have to do a dance cover. If you know chaeyeon this is her thing. Her boys with luv dance was flawless and damn I’m so gay for her.
• The boyz came out and did BTS’ fire cover and KILLED I WAS SHOOK
• towards the end i was getting tired and my ears hurt bc this girl behind me was screaming WAY TOO LOUD like ear PIERCING SCREAMS. So i don’t have a lot to say for NU’EST but they’re really good dancers and i liked a lot of their songs including their unit lost stars who did a beautiful slow song. I definitely think they deserve more recognition as a group.
• in conclusion i was surprised by how it was more like a tv show with a host and mcs instead of just a concert. I had no issues getting into the venue or my seats and if i have money next year and i like the lineup I’d probably go again 💛

Dance moms season 8 week 2 review
Well I’m back watching this trainwreck and late to the party again. Honestly some of my opinions haven’t changed in the slightest.
Lily and her mom are still annoying and how on earth did she get top of the pyramid? That makes no sense at all to me. Not in the slightest. Anyway her being lead of the dance made sense as she is so small but Brady is always going to take the attention away from her as he’s the only male on the team. Always gonna happen.
Gia-nina is a brat. Honesty the other moms are right wherever she goes with that CV her mother loved to mention she’s going to need to know different styling including Jazz. Yes Maddie danced mostly lyrical and tap but she also did jazz routines. The dance wasn’t the best in terms of moves placed in and neither was Gia’s want to preform it but honestly she’s now my second least favorite dancer from the show.
Hannah honestly shouldn’t be on the show, the kid doesn’t seem to want/need to be there. She’s going to end up very much like Paige and be constantly upset and not able to dance on stage due to fear. Her dance... Was childish but good overall, preferred it to the butterfly dance from last week. Not sure why it got second, thought it would be lower.
Group performance was good overall even with the political meaning. My favourite group dance so far and they looked like a team even if it was off putting Lily had no pants on. Not sure how that happened.

Password: jimmy can fast pass my ass
Character that you’re applying for: Tricia Tucker

in character info
Full name: Patricia Kimberly Tucker
Birthday: September 22nd
Sexuality, gender, pronouns: straight (for now), female, she/her
Age and grade: 16, sophomore
Faceclaim: Laura Gwyneth Butler
Appearance:
Face: True to her ginger roots, Tricia is redheaded and freckled faced. Her cheeks have a tendency to turn red at the slightest amount of exercise and it just makes her freckles even more obvious. She proves that odd stereotype of gingers being unattractive to be false, as she does put just enough effort in her appearance to be absolutely beautiful. She loves her freckles, so she doesn’t normally use foundation, but she does always use face care products, lipsticks, and mascara. Her nose is pierced, one that she only takes out for church and her English class. Her hair is medium length, taken care of in a very specific way, thanks to her fathers genetics being absolutely terrible and one wrong move with her hair means it’ll be ruined. She takes pride in how she looks, because she knows she looks bomb.
Body: The freckles on her face goes down her neck to her feet. She is a dancer, so her body is very fit. She tries her best to stay in shape as much as possible by limiting her food habits and only drinking water. But, despite her best efforts, her one insecurity would be her thighs and hips. They are big compared to the rest of her skinny body. Her mother says it’s natural, it’s what all the women in her fathers side of the family have (again, the awful genetics her father passed to her). It’s attractive and just, what they call it, birthing hips. She doesn’t see it like that. So, depending on the day or the mood she’s in, she’ll either try to accept the only thing that makes her feel bad about herself, or cover them up with sweatpants.
Personality:
Tricia is, and always has been, sassy and accurate. She’s a logical thinker, but that doesn’t form her sense of humor. Being dramatic is a comedic choice for her, but when things get serious she’ll pull up receipts, facts, and shove you so hard in the ground with her argument skills that you’d regret challenging her. She is, and always will be, terrifically aweing.
If she sees potential in you, you bet she’ll work at you until you’ve peaked. She’s very determined to make the people in her life the best they can be. It might be her very good sense of character with people, but her attitude will adapt and changed with specific people to help them grow and change for the better. It’s not that Tricia needs to feel important, or like she needs to make an impact. It was more like she just wants people to stop bitching.
She’s a bit of a snake. But only if it’s for the greater good. She knows who her true friends are, and she knows who’s lying to her. She always listens to her instincts, because they’ve never proved her wrong. Never. Over all, Tricia is confident, hardheaded, quick witted, and feisty.
History:
Patricia was raised to believe she was involved with a normal family. One dad, one mom, and two children. That was the default, the nuclear family. She was taught to be average. The nice and boring Tucker family, as she would hear sometimes in school. Tricia was raised as a smart, pretty young girl who didn’t talk unless spoke to and was humble about all the work she put in for herself. Laura taught her patience, kindness, selflessness... Basically everything she thought a little girl should be taught. Tricia knew how to cook, clean, and study by the time she reached elementary school.
However, as she got older, she noticed some flaws in the family her parents were desperately trying to hide from the public. Her dad started to look angry. Craig was getting more distant. Her mom felt like a robot to talk to sometimes. But every time Tricia would try and ask what was happening, Laura would tell her to let it go. So she would. She would be a good girl, go to dance class and release her frustrations though pointed toes. After a while, it was getting harder and harder to ignore the arguments between her dad and brother. It wasn’t until she walked through the front door to Thomas throwing something somewhere, that Tricia decided that it was time for her to bite back.
She started her rebellion by snapping at her mother. She was picking at her clothes again, telling her that what she was wearing wasn’t appropriate. She tugged away, glaring daggers. Tricia proclaimed, right then and there, that Laura wouldn’t control her life anymore. Tricia will feel and do whatever Tricia wants. She’ll sit on the arm of the couch if she wanted. She’ll be on her phone if she wanted. She’ll wear crop tops if she wanted. For a while, Laura tried to fight her on it. But Tricia proved that she was determined and serious. Laura backed down, and Tricia felt powerful enough to start with her father next.
Her dad and she have always been close. For some reason, Thomas was very nice to her, and let her do anything she wanted. That being said, she found him aggravating. Purely because of the way he talks to Craig. She wanted to do something to help out her brother. So when Thomas came into her room, and started telling Craig off, she snapped. She stood her ground and defended him. But Thomas wasn’t as wrapped around her finger as she thought. He cursed at her, for the first time, and demanded she bring herself some order. She was taken back, hesitated. It proved to be the wrong move as Craig swooped in to save her. She will never forgive herself for making her brother fight the battle she wanted to fight for him
From then on, she told herself she would never hesitate again, no matter how surprising an outcome will be. Tricia will never back down. She will never show weakness. And she will never let another man tell her what to do.
Sample paragraph:
Music was loudly blaring from Tricia’s laptop. She was on her feet, stretching fully while taking small moments to reply to messages she had received through her numerous social media accounts. She focused her attention on her feet, flexing them repetitively until her ankles felt good and ready. She checked Facebook while she stuck her leg in the air, doing a split and balancing on one leg. When she was bored of the internet, she reached above her to grab her leg, stretching them even further. Good and loose, she needs to keep it up. Her leg came down so she could back up into the wall, bending down to place her flat palms on the ground.
She slowly put her weight down on her hands, rising her lower half. Tricia tried her best not to tremble, but it was pretty difficult. Her legs finally came up straight, pointed and precise. Her arms remained unlocked, as close as she could make them while moving her legs downward, towards the room. When they were close enough to the ground, Tricia got down on her elbows and placed the very tip of her toes to the floor, stretching out her abdomen intensely. When she couldn’t hold that pose anymore, she swung her feet back towards the wall and lifted herself upright, now sitting on the floor, “Haven’t done that in a while,” she commented to herself, rubbing her stomach as she got up and walked back to her laptop.
Tricia played the song that her instructor gave her, planning on starting the assignment of choreographing her own routine. She lifted her leg upwards, slowly, as the song started up, soft and sad sounding Her breathing matched what she was taught, in and out, taking her time. This assignment was going to be the end of her, but damn it all if she didn’t do a good job. Tricia bent back, reaching for the metaphorical stars before she brought it down to her chest, as if clenching the heart inside. Preform a dance that tells a somber story, her instructor said. A story of heartbreak. Tricia wouldn’t know anything about that. She’s never been heart broken in her life. Tricia threw her hands in the air, already frustrated. Great. She’ll be working at this all night.
“You’re doing good, sweetheart,”
Tricia nearly jumped at the sudden voice, turning to see her father, who had at one point stopped to watch her practice. She placed her hands on her hips, frowning at him. He frowned back, looking guilty. She raised an eyebrow at him. He sighed, looked like he was thinking, before raising his head back up to smile at Tricia once again. She narrowed her eyes even more, wanting to rip that smile off his face.
“Keep it up,” Thomas tried encouraged her, “you’ll do great at this. You’re the best little dancer that I know.”
Tricia continued to stare at him, not giving him the satisfaction of complying. He was starting to stir where he stood, looking anywhere but her eyes. Oh yeah. He really did look guilty. She remained there, challenging him with his eyes, practically begging him for a fight. He didn’t want to, she knew that. “Listen, honey, the other day—“
The nerve- was he really about to apologize? Tricia groaned and walked towards the door, shutting it in his face. Hard. He didn’t even try to move from the forceful close. Good. She hoped she hit him in the face. The teenager walked back to the center of her room, practically shaking in irritation now. The longer she thought of it, the more she felt angry. She played the song from her laptop again, letting the soft instrumental control her emotions. Preform a dance of somber and sadness. Tricia could do something much better than that.
Headcanons:
- Started dancing when she was young. She and Craig started out with ballroom lessons, but she was the only one to continue it. She branched out to many different forms, but freestyle and ballet are currently are her favorite types of dances.
- She will not answer you if you call her Patty, or Patricia. The only one allowed to call her that is Craig.
- She is a real heartbreaker. She’s known for dating guys, getting them to fall for her, and then breaking up with them. People say it’s because she’s a stone hearted bitch. But really they just didn’t keep her entertained for long. Filmore was the only one who was able to escape her heart breaking habit, as the two of them had only been on a couple of dates before calling it off.
- She’ll randomly stick her leg in the air. Doesn’t matter where she is. She’ll do it.
- She’s part of the newspaper club and the school yearbook! A pretty important part of it, actually. She’s really into writing, reporting, and researching. It’s part of the reason why she knows so much and confident in her knowledge.

*SLAMS HANDS ON TABLE*
5 PAGE ESSAY SUMARRY THINGG ON OUTCASTS HERE WE FUCKIN GO
So, let’s start with our main, beginner characters. We have Miggy, a dream man with a Kermit voice who is owner and manager of the Big Time Big Top, who can also have a short temper. (More on that later.) Next, there’s Isaac Bluu, an amazing triangle boyo who, in my opinion, seems pretty chill and adorable. He works at the Big Time Big Top as a fire dancer. I love him and I think his species is Isrep? Up next, we have 8-Ball, a mutated human who is haunted by the spirit of his sister whom he had to pull the plug on since she was dying of a disease called ‘Red Plague’ and 8-Ball didn’t have money. 8-Ball’s real name is Kenny! 8-Ball was a nickname given to him by his sister, Queen. He also works at the Big Time Big Top as a magician. And now, Giuseppe. Holy hell, do I ever love him. Giuseppe is an adorable, big, 4-year-old slime boy. He’s very energetic and if someone hurts him, I will s c r e e. He also works at the Big Time Big Top as a contortionist and has an adorable slime puppy names Giorgio, if I remember correctly. And lastly (for the time being,) we have Bojanny Bunny. I’m personally not a big fan of him but here’s info nonetheless. Bojanny is actually a dead rabbit possessed by some kind of demon.. rabbit.. thing?? He is a trapeze artist.
Now, moving onto the story. We start off with Miggy waking everyone up and talking about a festival, (which, to my knowledge, is like when they preform.) and we also learn that Isaac and 8-Ball have a rivalry going on. Miggy assigns everyone their tasks to prepare for the festival before leaving. 8-Ball is simply told to practice his act, so he decides to go find something entertaining to do so he can distract himself from his grief over Queen. He decides to go to the Fun-House, which doesn’t go too smoothly. He ain’t very entertained and can’t really go down the slide since his skin is apparently like ‘pencil grip.’ Isaac walks over and asks what’s going on since 8-Ball not being able to slide made a loud screech. 8-Ball gives a vague explanation as to what’s going on, resulting in Isaac saying, “You’re STILL depressed??”
yeah and that’s as far as I got from there so tkmeskip or something and we find everyone aside from Isaac and Miggy outside. Isaac opens the window of his trailer and basically yells at them to stfu. Turns out, everyone is excited over a new member possibly joining the Big Top. And here we find our new buddy, No-Soul. Except he doesn’t have that name just yet. We don’t know his name right now, if he has one. One thing we do know, is that he has a thick Russian accent. He is soon given his name by Isaac. He’s then asked what kind of acts he can do, and he says he can possess people. He demonstrates on our unwilling friend 8-Ball, to which everyone freaks out over. Especially seeing as he basically snapped 8-Ball’s back. Luckily, our mutated pal survived, but did throw up his usual pink-purple goop a lot. Later on, Miggy finds out, and this is where his temper goes flying. He drags 8-Ball to a private conversation, and proceeds to lose it. Turns out, No-Soul is from a place called Zlo, and Miggy happens to have a big grudge against anyone from Zlo. Miggy tells 8-Ball to get No-Soul to leave. 8-Ball breaks the news to No-Soul and Isaac says he’ll guide No-Soul off the property. Since everyone was able to hear Miggy’s snap, Isaac proceeds to rant about how unfair it is that No-Soul has to leave because of Miggy’s grudge. Then, the two decide that No-Soul can sneakily stay in the empty trailer, so they set that up and hang out together. They bond and we learn that Isaac is the big gay for No-Soul. And it looks like No-Soul is the big gay too.
Later on, 8-Ball finds out and teases the hell out of Isaac about it, and also ends up hanging out with him and No-Soul. No-Soul says that the two should make up and try to be friends, so the two sit down and talk about why they don’t like eachother, then come to a truce. No-Soul is very happy about this and they all continue to hang out.
No-Soul also helps 8-Ball with his grief and together they managed to let Queen’s spirit rest.
Now, moving on, we have another new face showing up, Ringo the clown! He had fallen into a coma, but woke up and returned to the circus. Turns out, he was good friends with Giuseppe, Bojanny, and Miggy! There’s a sweet little reunion but unfortunately, Bojanny kicks Isaac out of their shared trailer because Bojanny wants to be roommates with Ringo instead, and he isn’t nice about it. 8-Ball helps Isaac move in with No-Soul and later on, he has a talk with Ringo. 8-Ball mentions how Miggy snapped at him for letting No-Soul join the circus. Ringo goes on to explain that Miggy actually had a brother and the two sort of.. merged when they were born.
This brother’s name is Muggy, and he is a nightmare, I believe. Quite literally. He’s pretty creepy and he’s constantly on the surface of Miggy’s skin, which is the reason Miggy keeps his eyes closed and wears gloves. Ringo then has a conversation with Muggy, telling him that he shouldn’t go losing his temper on the other performers like he did with 8-Ball. For the next while, Ringo hangs out with Miggy all the way up to the festival.
Once the festival arrives, everyone is set to perform and Giuseppe’s favorite actor/cartoon, Looney Leo, shows up hosting for the radio. Giuseppe fanboys and befriends Leo before leaving out of being too nervous to talk to the ‘thousands of fans’ that we’re listening on the radio. He then calms down by talking to Giorgio and goes on to perform. During 8-Ball’s performance, 8-Ball slips into this heavy grief state or Queen starts messing with him or something since this is before Queen is put to rest. 8-Ball passes out for 3 days.
A little later, Bojanny and Ringo decide to do a special performance together. Bojanny rides a unicycle across a tight rope while Ringo sits on his shoulders, juggling knives. Unfortunately, the act goes horribly wrong, and Bojanny slips off the tightrope, causing both him and Ringo to fall. He tries to hold on while Isaac and 8-Ball try to get the mattress underneath the two to cushion the landing but sadly, they just barely don’t move in time, and Bojanny and Ringo plummet to their death. Miggy is taken to court, where he pleads guilty, and gives the Big Time Big Top to 8-Ball.
Now, I’m not entirely sure where this bit fits in but I think it’s somewhere around here???
Anyways, No-Soul had watched Isaac’s performance at the festival and learned that Isaac sometimes wore girly clothes. This goes against a strict rule or something from where No-Soul lived, so he decides to leave. He gets Isaac to meet him, and tells him that he doesn’t feel the same way Isaac does about him. Isaac is obviously heartbroken, and No-Soul leaves, leaving behind a black and red flower. On the brighter side, Isaac ends up with 8-Ball and I love them so much!!
Not too much later, though, Isaac learns that Giuseppe wants to run away. He’s sad because everyone’s been leaving and dying. He’s also sad because 8-Ball kept referring to him as ‘Queen’ and (I can only assume-) not acknowledging him for who he is. Isaac does his best to comfort Giuseppe. 8-Ball soon walks over and finds out that Giuseppe wants to leave and why he’s sad, then does his best to apologize and comfort Giuseppe. Giuseppe sort of falls apart (not really, don’t worry,) and says that he doesn’t like the feelings he’s having and wishes he was dead like Bojanny, Ringo and Queen. Isaac and 8-Ball continue to comfort and take care of Giuseppe until he feels better and they all have this big, adorable group hug that warms my heart.
Then, they all start making plans to work on the Big Time Big Top and put up ‘Help Wanted’ posters to get new employees. The comic ends with a strange man and a dog looking at one of the posters.
A lot of people have been theorizing that this dog is Bojanny- or Bo- since earlier in the comic, when the demon bunny thing takes a short break from possessing Bojanny, he mentions to Ringo that he was thinking about possessing a German shepherd in the area. I honestly don’t know if this has been confirmed but it wouldn’t surprise me if it was true.
And you wanna know something else that’s great about this series??
First of all, it’s made by an incredibly talented artist
but also, you can make your own OC’s and spin-off continuation of the comic!!
I hope you enjoyed this nearly 5 page essay thing!!
(Its 4.6 pages so I guess if you round up, it’s 5)
ALSO NO, I AM NOT READING THIS OVER BECAUSE IM LAZY

Fiji Part 2
On the first Saturday of our stay in Fiji, my friends and I caught the bus to go into Suva to check out the markets for some souvenirs and gifts for our families. My friends had already gone and walked around a little bit the day before while I was doing the ATV tour, so they knew exactly how to get around. The bus ride was very uncomfortable, because it was pouring rain outside and water kept seeping onto the seats. I was squeezed next to a very large man who took up about 75% of both of our seats, but I perched on the edge and made it work. But I definitely was relieved when we finally got to town.
I have never been to a third world country before, and I was really excited about seeing how different the city was from the cities I’m used to seeing at home. There were no skyscrapers, no glamorous buildings. It honestly looked more similar to my hometown, which isn’t even a city. There was a lot of graffiti, and although there wasn’t as much trash littering the ground as I anticipated, it still felt pretty dirty. There were also so many people sitting on the sidewalks trying to sell their goods. We walked past the outdoor market stalls without stopping, trying to get to the craft market and on the bus back to Pacific Harbor as soon as possible so we could get out of the rain. Luckily, the handicraft market was inside a small, roofed, concrete complex. There were about 12 stalls, each one of them selling slightly unique goods but also a lot of the same items. How cheap the prices were astounded me. I got so many presents for family and friends! I got my mother a beautiful hand-carved turtle, my boyfriend a wooden pick for his hair, and anklets for my friends from home. It was a very successful shopping trip.
Pooja and I decided afterward to go to the indoor shopping mall to grab a snack before catching the bus back. We, of course, went to Chatime, our favorite bubble tea place that has followed us from Dunedin to Sydney and now here. It was nice to see a familiar place after 4 weeks, and I’d been going through bubble tea withdrawals since Sydney so of course we had to get some! I got a banana flavor I’d never tried before which was really good, and Pooja got the classic Milk Tea. On our way back to the bus, I made a quick stop at one of the outdoor market stands we saw earlier in the day and bought a huge slice of cake with custard on top of it for only $1 Fijian! It was so cheap and so delicious!
Flashing forward past all the endless days of studying, we come to our last Saturday in Fiji. It was a free day for me because I was done with my finals. I decided to utilize this time, while all my friends were presenting for philosophy, to relax a little bit for our last day in paradise. Laying on the hammock looking up at the palm trees and reading was such a relaxing feeling. I could turn my head and see the island in the distance, and feel the sun sneaking through the shadows of the leaves to try and touch me. Unfortunately, I was only able to lie in this position for about 20 minutes before it started raining. Fiji has the absolute craziest and most unpredictable weather!
After reading, I returned back to my villa and began getting ready for island night. The island nights were one of my favorite parts about staying at the Uprising. I love the live music; especially how many chill throwbacks were played. I love dancing with my friends, and the drinks are so delicious because they’re basically juice! The performances are also amazing. This week was a group of male dancers preforming, and I really loved how they mirrored each other in their dance moves. The moves themselves were so fun to watch, and the energy from our program also made it amazing. During the fire twirling part, the lead dancer came up to me and put his leaf crown on my head! It was so cool! I will never get over how they can climb on top of and support one another while twirling fire, or how they can touch it with their bare hands! After the performance, we were sure to get a group picture and then headed over to check out the bonfire. It was really hot from even far distances, but we stood around it talking for a bit. We eventually went back to the bar and heard the band sing their “goodbye” song, which got all of us feeling sentimental. We decided that was a signal to head back to bed, so we went back to the room and fell asleep early to prepare for our travels the next day.
Overall, my experience in Fiji had its highs and lows, but regardless of how fun it was I was just so excited to be able to return home. I can’t wait to see my family! I’ll miss my friends so much, and I’m a little sad I don’t live in Georgia like the other 95% of the people on this program so I can’t see any of them over the summer. Fall can’t come faster!

Top 10 Songs Tag
Oh my, @avrablake, I hope you’re ready for this lol. Thanks for tagging me by the way. I adore talking about my musical inspiration for my wips.
Just to keep things easy, I’ll do 2 songs per main WIP.
I am so sorry this is so long. I love talking about the music behind my WIPs.
Psychics
(x) Camisado by Panic at the Disco
This has a handful of meanings that go into this WIP. The first one, and main reason, is that my main character Cameron is obsessed with Panic! at the Disco. I honestly wish I remember why he was, but here we are, years later and he’s in love with Brendon Urie. The other reason is that this poor man went through Hell and back getting to where he is in life now. The lyrics really hit to Cameron with what he’s gone through over the years. Dealing with addiction issues, hospitalization, and PTSD from ‘the incident’ he doesn’t talk about. He’s a well rounded fucked up individual just trying to get through life.
(x) Dance with the Devil by Breaking Benjamin Another song that has to do with alcoholism, but it mostly hones in on the title itself. The main antagonist, Andrew, is Cameron’s Devil. He’s the one that he sold his soul to and now has to do his bidding without questions asked, no matter how badly he wants to break out of it. This ‘Devil’ character knows his most kept secrets and knows how to blackmail Cameron to get what he wants. He’s using Cameron to exploit his abilities for his own gain while also not giving any real regards to his safety or wellbeing.
Time Travelers
(x) I Know You Too Well to Like You Anymore by Reel Big Fish Okay I’ve talked about this song and it’s influence on this WIP a lot in the past and I will continue to do so. I would first like to thank this song for gracing its presence in my life because I don’t know where this WIP would be without it. I heard it once and it stuck with me ever since and became the foundation of Brad and Rose. This is the song that really made them them. It gave them the insight to their friendship, and their band, and personalities. They’re ska kids and they’re best friends and nothing can break their weird little bond. When they preform in their band it’s their favorite song to play because they have so much fun with it and constantly quote it in everyday life.
(x) Throne by Bring Me the Horizon and (x) Halocene I’m using both versions of this song because I use it twice in my WIP playlist/movie soundtrack lol. The first version with BMTH is supposed to take place at the beginning of the story where Rose gets into an altercation at a concert while she’s alone. After the concert she’s saved by Q and thus introduced to literally everything. The second time it’s used is during the pivotal climax moment of the final battle where the more relaxed-ish version by Halocene plays. It’s starts out positive that she will stand strong with her real life and that no matter what she’ll come out on top. At the end, it turns negative that everything she thought she was standing for was going to crumble around her and her demise became her ‘throne’ because that’s all she would be good for then.
Action Heroes
(x) Puttin’ on the Ritz by Taco and tomX This just has everything to do with Taren’s character. He used to be a cabaret dancer at an electro swing bar when he used to live in England before moving to Chicago. When people found out he used to do this sort of thing they began to look down on him seeing him as a ‘stripper’ when he was a cabaret dancer and simply danced and occasionally took off clothes but in a tasteful way. He’s a huge fan of the 1920′s to the 40′s and electro swing music which he knows people don’t get.
(x) Hold the Line by TOTO Honestly this was just a running joke but I ended up keeping it. Jason is a punk though he doesn’t look like it anymore and more or less looks like a tired dad 24/7, he usually only listens to punk music. When the job he has finally let him have a company car, this TOTO CD was the only thing in the player and it was the only CD he owned, and mostly kept cassettes, so he dealt with it. It’s too slow for his usual taste but he grew to like it and found it fun to jam out in traffic sometimes.
Demons
(honestly this is the playlist I listen to the most)
(x) Church by Fall Out Boy This one is honestly my favorite mental image. When I listen to this song I imagine Holden locked in his meditation room getting ready to create a casting circle to take the protagonists to Hell. He gets on his knees and says ‘bless me father for i am about to sin’ before getting to work casting the circle. Now, he’s a demon who lives in a church he turned into an occult library. His father is Lucifer and he’s doing things he should not be doing so he’s really hoping things will go in his favor. (they don’t) but it’s honestly my favorite song choice and this
(x) Hallelujah by Panic! at the Disco This is another visual image for this particular WIP. As previously mentioned about Holden’s father being Lucifer. Well. I face claimed Luci as Brendon Urie. So, obviously the protags get caught and are brought before Lucifer. In a courtroom style trial scene, they introduce Lucifer and this song plays. He is the ruler of their realm of Hell and his children are present to show praise to him and to shun their brother, Holden, who’s on trial for his crimes of getting caught and blah blah blah.
Wizards
(x) Lullaby by the Spill Canvas First off, this song is so fucking cute omg. Graeme already knew this song before he met Mabel and then after they met it took a new meaning to him. It’s one of his favorite songs to play on the guitar that’s a bit more slower and laid back but he plays it with a yearning to be with Mabel again and see her now that they’re both living in different countries. He just wants to spoon her and hold her and be with her and share the same space because he’s never felt so comfortable and safe with someone before. Mabel feels the same way which is why she makes him play it a few times for her.
(x) I’ll Run by the Cab Another one that is taken quite literal. The whole story Graeme is running away from wizards that are after him and the book he guards. Then when he meets Mabel things are going for the better for him and he likes her for sure. They both need to get away from things, either mentally or literal, and they have one another they can take each other by the hand and run together.
#tagged#this took me so fucking long#omg#i didn't want to stay up this late lol#oops#category: psychics#category: time traveler#Category: Action#category: demon#category: wizards#some day i'll make a proper post with my wip songs

Michelle Creber
From March 2010 through October 2013, I was a fashion blogger whose niche included pop culture.
I also became a brony during this time, helped by a certain fashionable unicorn and a much beloved alicorn princess.
The two things would come together through a series of Q&A interviews during the last two years of my blog’s life.
The second was of none other than Applebloom herself, Michelle Creber, originally published December 12, 2012.
Name: Michelle Creber
Profession: Singer, Actor, Dancer, Musician, Voiceover artist
Location: Vancouver, Canada
A Brief Description of You and Your Work: I’m a 13-year-old girl from Vancouver, Canada who has been performing professionally as a singer/actress/dancer on screen, on stage and in the studio since I was quite young. I love to work and stopped going to normal school a few years ago so that my schedule would be more flexible around my projects. I am registered with a Vancouver “distance learning” program, and have an amazing private tutor who guides me through the curriculum. In addition to working, I take weekly piano, drums, guitar and skating lessons plus six hours of dance training per week in ballet, tap and hip hop. I love to dance and wish I had more like six hours per day available!
The child of professional musicians, your career as a performer began when you were a year old. Since then, you’ve been seen and heard on many a stage, screen, studio and concert hall. Could you tell us more about your debut performance, as well as what drew you to singing, dancing, acting, voiceover work et al when you decided to take on those skills?
Creber: My first appearances on stage were in the arms of my parents during their shows. At about 4 years old, I began taking singing and piano lessons with my mom, and then performed regularly in the recitals my parents would hold for their music school. I also started singing in their big annual professional Christmas concerts.
Your debut album, “Timeless: Songs of a Century,” is also an all-covers album, with selections ranging from Bon Jovi to The Manhattan Transfer. How did this album come about, are there any other albums on the horizon, and will there be an all-originals disc in the future?
Creber: My parents are also producers, and since a lot of fans were asking if I had any music recorded, they decided to produce a CD for me. We brainstormed a list of song ideas and realized that it contained a variety of different genres from over the years. The plan was to include some original music on the debut CD, but once we got into it, my mom came up with the “top songs of each decade for 100 years” concept. We all loved that idea and decided to keep the originals for another CD.
As far as other albums, we just released “A Creber Christmas” (featuring me and my parents) on Dec. 1, and it has been exciting to get orders from all over the world. I’m very proud of both CDs, and am looking forward to more recording in the new year. We have three other CD ideas coming up: an originals album, a collaboration/remix album, and an album that features songs from musicals.
As a result of voicing the character Apple Bloom (and providing Sweetie Belle’s singing voice) on “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic,” you have been a huge part of the fandom surrounding the show, whether attending fan conventions or appearing on Everfree Radio’s “Saturday Night Songs” as two examples. Could you tell us more regarding your involvement in the brony community, and what it means for you professionally and personally?
Creber: Well, it has been a real gift to have this wonderful, kind and generous group of people supporting me. Professionally, it has really helped my voiceover and singing careers move forward. Final Draft and the gang at EFR have been so amazing and supportive to work with, and it has been such a fun way to introduce my new recordings. Also, my parents and I have met so many talented musicians in the community, and have really enjoyed working with MandoPony, The Living Tombstone, AcousticBrony and Mic the Microphone (and there are so many more talented people that we’re hoping to work with on the collab album)!
Personally, it has been so rewarding to meet the fans at conventions, and to receive the amazing letters as well as the unbelievable art and craft gifts that fans have made. And one of the best convention experiences is the opportunity to help raise money for great causes through the charity auctions.
Aside from being a triple threat and a voiceover artist, what other talents do you possess?
Creber: As much as I live and breathe for acting, singing and dancing, I am also very passionate about sports and playing instruments, e.g. skating, hockey, biking, piano, drums, guitar, and tons more. I also love writing stories, writing songs, cooking, painting, drawing and crafts!
How would you describe your personal style?
Creber: I love cool, casual, comfortable modern styles and love accessorizing with some jewelry, scarves and a bit of bling. I was a complete tomboy when I was younger and still have a bit of that going on, but now I also like wearing dresses, and my wardrobe is looking much more feminine overall.
Because of my wide variety of activities, I have many different types of clothes. For example, there are clothes for dance classes and rehearsals, clothes for sports, clothes for work, clothes for formal occasions, and then costumes for concerts.
Do you read any fashion blogs? If so, which ones?
Creber: I don’t because it’s just too hard to find the time for extra things like that. But I do like flipping through magazines in waiting rooms or while waiting in line to buy groceries!
Be it the stage, small or silver screen, or the studio, what has been your favorite moment as a performer?
Creber: I love so many moments and already have lots of great ones that come to mind. My first time on a movie set (Disney’s “The Search For Santa Paws”), my first MLP voiceover session, doing the movie “Christmas Lodge”(my dog Max was cast as my character’s dog, and there was one scene where he jumped up on a table and stole the biscuit off my plate! The director yelled “Cut,” and we had to shoot the scene again), funny moments in the many theatre productions I’ve been in, and performing concerts at Everfree Northwest and Canterlot Gardens; it was awesome to hear the crowd singing along with me, ”wanted… dead or alive” and S-A-TUR-DAY, NIGHT!
Another great memory is my first experience at a Brony event. My mom and I went to the Vancouver Library for the release of the “Royal Wedding” finale last spring, and that was a revelation for me. It was what really introduced us to the Brony community, and I loved hearing everyone singing the theme song together!
Why do you do what you do for a living?
Creber: Because there is nothing else I would like to pursue more in my life, and because I am fortunate enough to have been offered these kinds of opportunities.
If you had to pick one item from your résumé thus far that says, “This is what my career is all about,” which one would it be?
Creber: Too hard to answer… WAIT! There’s this one little show called “My Little Pony.”
What advice do you have for my readers regarding…
Style: Keep it real and don’t worry about what everybody thinks of you. Live your life and express yourself!
Performing (acting, singing, dancing, voiceovers et al): Don’t give up on your dreams. If you love preforming just keep working at it.
Life in general: We only have one chance at it so make it count!
Any final words?
Creber: I can’t wait for all the new cons coming up in 2013! The next one is Animate! Miami, and I hope to meet many more Pony and anime fans there!

DWTS Season 25 MOVIE NIGHT (Week 6) Rankings
Okay I am doing these a little differently because I can’t fathom rewatching the WHOLE episode again. Away we go
Opening Number: I freaking loved it. I understand some people think it is ill-timed or whatever and I do get that, absolutely. But I still really loved it. Though time to time it seemed like they weren’t in time with the actual music on the rewatch. The girls cracked my ass up and I love me some Chmergess. Also Artem putting her wrap on her. Side note: how much work has Shania had dear god.
Nikki & Artem: Okay I loved this dance and it was going really well until the first lift when she slammed her leg into his thigh then poor Artem almost fell over lol. But I love AT, it is one of my favorites and I love this style of AT. More sensual and slow. They scored her A LOT higher than I anticipated TBH.
Drew & Emma: The beginning of this was cool but he just freaking lost it. I thought he was gonna throw her into the audience once or twice. Also when he was with the group, was he supposed to have a different dance move or was he just really off. Also the spinning her by her arm and leg looked like he was STRUGGLING.
Nick & Peta: Hot.Ass.Mess. I watched Sharna and Jenna more. The song was atrocious, his hips were awful, he went off time. I was just so bad. Also those arm slicing motions of his were killing me. I just, it was timeeeeee for him to go.
Victoria & Val: I mean, this was a cute concept! I hated those outfits with a passion. Val put a good amount of content in it in my opinion. It was just kind of a non-event for me I guess.
Terrel & Cheryl: Okay but I loved this dance. He executed the steps very well and looked like he was having fun and worked hard and IDK I really liked it this week and liked him a lot actually.
Frankie & Witney: Oh man I had HIGH expectations. And it started so well and then it just went off the rails. She threw a TON of content at him and he missed the one step then lost time and lost confidence. It was rough but very pretty and colorful.
Vanessa & Maks: I can’t rewatch theirs. Youtube has it private. But also I don’t really care because I just can’t get into anything she does. It was cute. That’s all I got for you
Jordan & Lindsay: Watching ONLY the dance. This song makes me sob. I thought he danced it beautifully. Linds gave an amazing story with this one. He really is a fantastic dancer. His facial expressions kill me. Boy poop before you dance and I bet you will have less of the shooting shits face. Over the damn top.
Lindsey & Mark: MY FAVORITE EVER. well this season at least LOL. She killed this role and I have MISSED mark dances. He is such an incredible choreographer. I just loved this dance and may or may not have watched it 6 times. LOVED IT.
Shania’s “preformance”: I am only rewatching this for Sharna and Alan. I love them. They always dance so well together. Did anyone notice Britt stumble? OMG their little head together moment. kill me. this “singing” is horrid. Man I love me some Sharlan.
OKAY best to worst after rewatch:
Lindsey Terrell Nikki Jordan Victoria Frankie/Drew (tied honestly) Vanessa Nick
