idk i think the whole power imbalance, however alina grabs ahold of her powers back, then darkle sparkles is like wOAH and is lowkey a simp bcs hes been lonely for centuries rly grabs my attention.

i dont think that the darkling is a morally grey character though like im rly on the side that he IS a big baddie but thats why i like him. and thats why i like this ship. the whole light and dark themes of it all and how sometimes their dark side and light side overlap. (sorry darklina/alarkling aesthetic hits HARD... i mean, eclipse?!?!?!! hell yeah)

and then in the whole trilogy where alina fights back and becomes super sarcastic and is just so done w the darkling and their whole exchange and convos and the back and forth of their shifting power dynamics and the way alina was abt to get corrupted like idc if u dont get it. I DO. and i think its scrumptious.

Ooh! Nice question! I was actually recently working that out more. And i have this whole story in my head which i can’t get down fully coherently but—

I’d say my c!dream is a close to a shapeshifter demon (Dreamon as i like to call it sometimes).

But he has a curse on him by the revival book where he gets more and more corrupted the more he uses it. Also causing him to have some unbalanced control over his looks.

Ok, this is it. I’m officially done.

APRIL’S👏DESIGN👏ISN’T👏BAD👏

This is the movie’s STYLE. Everything in the movie is supposed to look weird and asymmetrical. Hell- they still made her look really pretty! This PROFESSIONAL designer DID put actual work into her design.

Also- she is a TEENAGER. She does not need to look attractive for a bunch of creepy ass men. If are a grown adult complaining about a 16 year old not looking attractive enough- you need actual serious mental help. That is unacceptable and disgusting.

Also, AI should NEVER replace actual real artists, writers, and actors that put ACTUAL WORK into what they create. They all deserve to be paid and treated fairly. So much love went into everything in this movie, and to see so many people STILL hating on it just for how it looks is very upsetting.

ACTUALLY compare these designs.

Which designs look more like the movie’s style? Which designs look more memorable? Which designs have more personality? Which designs look more like an actual teenager rather than an unrealistic body standard?

The fact that me, a young teenager, can actually comprehend this and not full grown adults is disappointing. You actually need to get your head out of the gutter and grow tf up.

Hopefully I won’t have to talk about this again. I don’t think I have enough braincells to spare.
