For the preference how about Emma x Charlie and then my ships: Ryan x Penny, Cara x Rowan, Sara x Barnaby, and Conor x Ruth? (Both of your ships are cute!)

It’s so hard for me to not be biased with Emma and Charlie because I really think they’re just the cutest lol

Okay so the official rankings are:

1.) Conor and Ruth (they’re both so soft and sweet, and I love a ship with two people that are just the sweetest beings on the planet)

2.) Sara and Barnaby (cuteness overload and I frickin’ love it, also they’re perfect together)

3.) Charlie and Emma (I feel like 3rd is a good place to put two dragon loving nerds who are so in love with each other, they may even love each other more than they love dragons)

4.) Ryan and Penny (I haven’t really looked into them as much as Sara and Barnaby or Conor and Ruth, but I do like their dynamic very much, a sweet and hesitant Penny alongside a bold and brash Ryan, it’s a pair that kinda takes the other out of their comfort zone a little)

5.) Cara and Rowan (while I haven’t looked too much into them yet, I know that I love Cara having this whole feminist rebel dynamic and Rowan canonically being a huge bookworm who’s more silent and observant)

2. What’s something that they really bond over together?

Dragons, hands down. Charlie’s enthusiasm over dragons literally makes Emma’s heart soar. His mindless rambling about them, his unlimited knowledge of them, his excitement to meet dragons, it all makes Emma happy because he’s happy. Emma’s always been interested in dragons, so having someone who’s always willing to go in expeditions with her to find them is great.

13. What’s the dumbest or most ridiculous thing they’ve seen each other do?

Neither of them really see anything the other does as ��dumb”, but more or less they find it adorable. The dumbest/cutest thing Emma’s seen Charlie do is play a quidditch friendly with Bill, Andre, Barnaby, Jae, and Orion, and Bill and Charlie tried to weave around each other, albeit it was done successfully, Charlie ended up crashing into Andre, sending them both into the wall of the quidditch pitch. Emma couldn’t help but giggle when Charlie tried to act all tough and macho about it.

The dumbest/cutest thing Charlie’s seen Emma do is look around for her notebooks for two solid hours, panicking and all, forgetting she’d given them to Charlie to keep in his bag for the time being, and Charlie sat there, letting her look around for that long until he finally pulled them out of his bag, making Emma breathe a sigh of relief.

Little scene for that:

Emma searched around frantically, throwing papers and books around trying to find her notebooks. “Charlie, have you seen my Charms notebooks? I can’t find them anywhere!”

“I can’t say that I have, Em.” Charlie shrugged, “are you sure you didn’t leave them in the classroom?” He knew her notebooks were still in his bag, but he found it cute how worried she was over her own forgetful nature.

For another hour, Emma searched for her notebooks. “That’s it, I’ve lost them.” She sighed, flopping down onto the Gryffindor common room sofa, her head on Charlie’s shoulder.

“Actually,” Charlie grinned, “I think I found them.” He pulled the notebooks from his bag, Emma’s manuscript on the covers.

“They were in your bag the entire time?” Emma’s brow knitted, a look of utter disbelief on her face.

“You forgot you gave them to me, love.” Charlie chuckled, planting a gentle kiss on Emma’s forehead as the red-headed girl sighed, relieved that Charlie had the notebooks.

23. Do they have a relationship song for each other?  Do you have one (or more) for them?  If so, what are they?

I have a couple, they’re great 80’s songs if I must say so myself lol

These two songs were the choice because it fits with their dynamic, while they both travel a lot and sometimes they don’t get to see each other much, they always come back to each other in the end.

Charlie Weasley is the best. I saw the Welsh green post and I was wondering... What is Emma's proffesion? Does she go with Charlie to Romania? Do they have a wedding? If so what was it like?

I whole-heartedly agree that Charlie is the best lol

But these are all great questions!

Emma first works as a Healer, learning from Madam Pomfrey since her Hogwarts years. After graduation, she sometimes returns to Hogwarts to help Madam Pomfrey when it’s needed, and sometimes she’s at St. Mungo’s. Charlie being in Romania does sort of put a strain on their relationship, but they make it work by sending each other letters every day.

Eventually though, after her and Charlie move in together, she goes with him back to Romania to aid in studying dragons (so she begins dabbling some in dragonolgy), and be a Healer when she’s needed (cause Merlin knows Charlie’s been burned by dragons more than once). Emma then takes up a career as a Dragonologist as well.

They did have a wedding, in the winter of 1994. It was a rather small ceremony at the Burrow, with all of the Weasleys, Galloways, and Emma and Charlie’s friends in attendance. Emma, Molly, and Penny handmade the decorations, and Charlie, Bill, and Barnaby figured out what the food and drinks would be. Molly was so sure that Bill would be the first to get married, but she figured that it wouldn’t be long before Charlie decided he wanted to marry Emma. Molly also made Charlie get his hair cut, but not very short.
