A clear slime that reflects the environment around it through its sheer, light blue tinted mass in order to mimic water. It often sits within pools of the boiling water in order to do this, making the slimes’ membrane burning to touch.

Inside the Slime’s permeable membrane is a highly acidic substance designed to dissolve bones. However, this also means that it can dissolve most things that enter it, including rocks, plant matter, and other creatures. The only creature not affected by this acid is their main predator, the Wisps.

Bones make up it’s diet, passively absorbing the bones found in the water that falls onto them. This slurry is shared with the Calcaneus on top of its body. It does not move so long as there is food around.

Once the bone supply started to dwindle, the slime crawls (sometimes bouncing if falling from a height) towards the next nearest source of bones. If this is a creature, it crawls over the creature in confusion as it can sense the bone, but not taste it. Otherwise, it finds the new source and falls dormant.

The more bones a slime eats, the larger it is.

Slimes cannot be killed through most methods, only draining the inside of the slime without disturbing the outside membrane. This is because the membrane heals extremely fast, knitting itself back together. If a full cut is made through the slime, two slimes will be created.

Mirror slimes lack any kind of reproductive organ, nor do they die of old age. Only in cases where it is cut fully through does it reproduce, making two slimes of different sizes in response. The more cuts made, the more slimes produced.

Very passive creatures, with no fear, brain, or centralized nervous system.

(I hate marking all Alex ships as toxic... but if we're going purely off of story and assuming the relationships persevere into the Slender Sickness thing... Holy fuck it's gonna get bad. Once those delusions and madness stuffs start kicking in the cuteness is killed *unfortunately* and so is at least one of them *depending on ship*

Also I marked all of the Tim ones w/o Alex as "can be toxic" just because of the way we see Tim's dynamic with the others play out. It would primarily cause issues in the stability and trust levels of the relationship because of the way the story goes. The sickness happens, the tapes, oh no! Tim looks evil, etc etc... everyone keeps stealing Tim's meds- etc etc.

Honestly... all of them could be marked with the "toxic" label because of the nature of the MH canon... like, they all really don't get along past a certain point... so I don't imagine relationships that are romantic would be much better at persevering in that scenario, either...)

Like... I'm talking about if we're being 100% true to canon events. No "Oh this is before this" or "this is a different storyline"
