TASK THIRTY FOUR : STYLE

cool toned neutrals, draped satin, shiny hair, jewel tones, ruched details, edgy romantic, sexy sheer, black and white and brown, asymmetrical necklines, simple jewelry, chopped monse shirt dresses, leather pants, refined, high neck tops, slivers of skin, pops of red, pointy toed shoes, shimmery metallic

FASHION HOUSES:

VIEW:

xiuying has always been a no frills girl. she believes clothes send a strong message, but she’s not interested in being at the height of fashion trends. rather, her clothes are a reflection of what she wants to portray, she’s serious. a believer in quality over quantity and her favorite color to wear is black; it’s neat looking, and she looks powerful. colors come into play once every blue moon, usually in the form of a slinky satin dress. in general, she’s fairly moderate in terms of her style, she’s not one to show skin just to be raunchy, but she’s not up in arms about being covered up and conservative.

EVERYDAY:

dark bottoms, be it a skirt or pants, and a nice blouse or high neck top. depending on the day, she could opt for a casual tank. she likes casual slip dresses or wrap dresses. for shoes she likes chunky boots or strappy or pointy toed heels ( she likes heels bc she likes to be EXTRA tall. power trip sorta thing. ). big fan of thigh high boots if it fits the occasion. majority of her daily wear is black and neutral, if there’s a color it’s normally red or a rich jewel tone. jewelry is often silver, and simple, no more than earrings and a simple necklace. i would say ... business chic but make it sexy

FORMAL:

she prefers short dresses over long, but if it’s neccessary, she’ll wear a long dress. very much into satin, deep v-necks, asymmetrical looks ( where she kinda looks tangled in the fabric ! ), cut outs, and all things slinky. this is where you’d most likely see her wear color, but even so she prefers more neutral leaning things. that green is pushing it.

HAIR & MAKEUP:

she’s had the same hairstyle since she was like 15. slightly past shoulder length, normally curled lightly, but it’s long enough to style when needed. makeup is always fresh and she’s more concerned about skincare than she is makeup.
