concept: small leaf dragon that sleeps during the day (as it camouflages itself as a leaf and photosynthesizes) and during the night it wakes up and flies around to hunt tiny bugs to supplement its diet (because idk if just sunlight would be enough for a vertebrate lol)

good concept! I’ve always liked thinking abt how photosysnthesis might happen in a vertebrate, like a divergence in early evolution, a mitochondrial mix-up, or a mutualistic arrangement between the vertebrate and a photosynthetic organism
