!! oh boy

as for the guys it's uh. sort of a long story but i will try to summarize it

so. for a good part of the story they're kinda just vibing, being gay, doing crime, etc etc. and then the gods announce there'll be elections to determine a mayor for the town this is all set in. and one of them runs in the elections (against a semi sentient pig in a suit....?). all is well. UNTIL the day of the elections where the one who isn't running has some sort of flashback to a previous version of this world and hes like 'i can't let him win i have to protect him everyone's gonna try to use him for his power etc etc' and he uh. presents himself as candidate and ends up winning the elections (by stealing the other guy's votes). and he's thinking to himself oh it'll be fine he'll be mad at me for a bit but he'll understand

BUT HE DOES NOT. he goes absolutely fucking insane completely loses it decides killing the now mayor is his entire life's purpose and so on and so forth. and the whole thing slowly escalates into an entire civil war. but, as the two sides are having a battle, the aliens that have kinda been a threat the entire time attack and destroy half the town. so then they're like ok we'll work together to get rid of the aliens but mr 'i am going to destroy everything you love and then i'm going to kill you' is not fucking having it and the mayor isn't a big fan of this either so then this Other guy gets really fucking sick of their shit and kidnaps them to first force them to talk about their issues but then THAT doesn't work so he just fucking. completely wipes their memories of each other. including the ones from when they still got along. they remember NOTHING about each other after AND STILL THEY IMMEDIATELY BECOME FRIENDS AGAIN AND EVERYTHING

the aliens do destroy the whole place two episodes after but. augh

in conclusion? sobbing and crying. also these fuckers have like the Most upsetting fanart/fics/animatics ive ever seen. ive known about them for maybe a month and in that month ive taken massive amounts of emotional damage

remember that time we went to the park with cat (absolute insane name for a dog by the way) then somehow his leash came off making us chase him around the whole park but before we caught him you tripped causing me to fall on top of you making us laugh uncontrollably for about five minutes, that was one of my favorite moments together (out of so many of course)

The room was in complete silence. Which was awkward. You were sitting in the nursery's bed, your back against the headboard of the bed. Mash, who just came in, was standing in front of the bed's feet. Never you would think that it would be so awkward to talk to your own son, but here you are.

- "Um, hello, Mash. I'm [Y/N], your biological mother. You can call me whatever you're comfortable with. Also, sorry for letting Cyril, I mean, Innocent zero hunt you down for sport and almost kill you and your loved ones. Please, sit down. " - Saying that you patted the chair next to the bed you're sitting on.

- "M'kay." - This was getting really awkward. You didn't know what to say, but still tried to act calm. - "Why did you join him in the first place?" - You didn't expect such a question from him. Although, maybe you did. It wasn't too surprising after all.

- "To secure my own survival." - Your answer was in a soft voice, just like a mother's one should be. Mash was silent for a few moments, seemingly thinking about your answer. Then, he replied.

- "Didn't you have another choice? I heard people liked you back then." - You laughed lightheartedly at his words; he really didn't know as much as you thought. At first, you thought that Wahlberg or someone else told him about your persona, about how you are such a bad, lying, manipulative witch. But even if someone did, Mash seemed unbothered.

- "Silly, they didn't like me as a person. They liked what they say, what I gave them, what I showed them; they liked the happy and positive mage not the torn out lack magic who all can do is steal magic and throw punches. Innocent zero knew me, the actor, and not the character of the play. While he didn't plan to reveal it, enjoying the show too much, he also wouldn't try to help me in a dire situation unless I helped him." - You said calmly with a soft smile. He seemed to process the information, but there was some sort of lag in his brain halfway through. Before you could explain it again in simpler terms, someone barged into the room. It was a young boy, the same age as Mash, with pink hair and pink dull eyes. You knew it was Domina from the pink necklace, very similar to your own necklaces in design, around his neck. Domina looked agitated, as if he just run a marathon; he looked distressed and as if looking for something. When he finally spotted you sitting on the bed with Mash by your sight he had a complicated expression on his face. It revealed relief, doubt, nervousness, excitement and much more. He started slowly walking towards the bed you were sitting on and Mash seemed calm at his appearance.

- "Oh, hi Domina." - Mash said casually as he looked at Domina who stood already next to the bed, probably on the verge of tears as you looked at him with soft eyes and a smile, just like a mother should. It was the first time he felt so loved even without knowing the person personally well. You guys really had a whole bunch to talk about...

also i feel like, given everything that happened in the other timeline, owain took it upon himself to be the comedy relief, you know? So he dialled his natural tendency towards being a lil dramatic and loud right up.

Anyway. So Lon'qu taught Owain was taught how to use a sword, hence why they're both swordmasters. Lon'qu really does not Get his son's whole persona thing, but I think Owain isn't quite so over the top around his parents -- at least in the game timeline. He tones it down around them because, unlike in his original time, he doesn't feel like he has to make them laugh the same as he used to. Doomed-timeline Lon'qu definitely laughed at his son's antics, but game-timeline Lon'qu is mostly just confused by them, at first. He doesn't have the history or understanding behind it. All the same, once they get to know each other, Lon'qu does start to get it. He becomes increasingly like doomed-timeline Lon'qu (and doesn't that just cause so many confusing emotions for Owain). He's a lil emotionally stunted, but having a son brings it out of him a bit.

Lissa was actually the parent that Owain knew for longer, so it's weirder for him. The Lissa in the game-timeline is very different to the mother that he knew, so he feels a bit awkward at first. Also.... Owain being a dark mage in Fates... I know Lissa's a cleric BUT hc that she's the one who taght him magic. (He can also use an axe bc she taught him, but he's not as good with it. He prefers swords. They're more elegant and he thinks they look cooler.)

Also lastly... lon'qu x lissa relationship dynamics... she's just the right amount of pushy for him -- she gets him out of his comfort zone in a good way, challenges him. He keeps her steady. She soothes his anxieties and he soothes hers. They meet equally in the middle. Insert something upsetting about Lissa losing the firmest presence in her life when Emm died. Something upsetting about how Chrom couldn't be there for her, because he was caught up in his own shit, so Lissa had Maribelle and, suddenly, Lon'qu.

Kinda weird how im answering this asks months later and yet it feels fitting with the whole coming back thing 😅 makes me feel a bit guilty about it ngl Now, EreMikaSasha with Kids are something else! I haven't really give it too much of a thought when I first started writing about them but I can totally see it! both cuz Mikasa has always had this family aura surrounding her (and there is no way she is going through life without enjoying the wondars of a family she was denied at such a young age 😔) and cuz I can totally see Eren and Sasha struggling way to hard with the whole parenting thing, which gives me the giggles ngl 🤭

Their first borns have to be a pair pretty beautiful girls! Firstly cuz I said so and sencondly cuz Eren gives me the vibes of being a girl's father 😖

They are both conceived and born on the same day, just hours apart, mainly cuz Eren's horny ass found it arousing to do it like that 😤 (it quickly bites him in the butt cuz dealing with two pregnant women at the same time is no joke lol, he was forced to become their malewife in order to help them 😂)

They all are a mess of tears when their are finnally born into this world (pun intended) both Mikasa and Sasha at the verge of passing out as their welcome their Kids for the first time by calling their names, Carla and Natasha respectively 🥺

The more they grow, the more they realizar them both are literal carbon copies from their respectives mothers! Like Carla would get obvious oriental features resenbmling her mother, and Natasha's reedish hair it's an obvious tell of Sasha's 😂 the only reason he knows they are his children it's cuz they both got they emerald like eyes! Which they rock flawlessly!

They personalities also rubbed on them because Carla will be the quietest of the babies, hardly ever cries, let alone make a single sound, while Natasha on the other hand is a whole different deal, would show her amusement at any small thing that happens in front of her by laughing or gasping, and will get startled by the smallest of noises, crying out loud for her mommy to sing lullabies till she sleeps again!

For that reason Natasha is the first to say her first words in between the two of them! a single "Ma!" that she says right after Sasha comes to pick her up that has her almost sobbing on the spot, barely able to call for Mikasa and Eren to flex on them how her little one said her first words!

When it comes to more important things in the matter of parenting they are all a mess, some of them more than others, but in the end they are all new to this life changing commitments, and so they are bound to make some mistakes

Mostly cuz Eren would be way too overprotective over his children whenever they interact with other kids at the local playground, or simply when they interact with their enviroment, like preventing them from doing harmless things as playing with grass or interrupting the fun they would have with other kids whenever he sees them stained with something, and obvious reflex he took from his mother (oh how tables have turned 🤣)

Sasha would be a bit careless on the other hand, since she grew up with a father that made her learn about the world by letting her figure things on her own, leting pass things such as let them try to eat anything from the floor just so they learn what is ediable and what not, or letting them on their own for way too much time

Mikasa would try to be in the middle ground when it comes protecting their kids, a perfect balance of letting them experience things on their own and helping them when they need her, her only flaw coming in the form of her inexperience with dealing with kids

In the end they grew more fitting in the roles of parents as a whole, helping each other by making up for each other flaws, successfully rising a pair of beautiful girls that sooner than later would enjoy their own life (they are still teeagers, their parents are just being dramatic😅), the empty nest syndrome hitting earlier than expected and deciding that they want at least a boy this time 😈

oh okay so figuring out gender was a ‘casper is stupid for 17 entire years’ situation.

i basically came out of the cradle insisting that it was cringe and terrible of my parents to think of me as a girl. i was, emphatically, a Pokémon obsessed little guy since i could form entire sentences. but it was 2002, and frankly i was more concerned with how far i could spit and collecting spiders off the bushes to be worried about it. my parents (bless) were 100% cool with getting my clothes in the boys section & letting me do whatever i wanted (except get ice cream from the ice cream van every day. their one and only instance of homophobia 😔) so i didn’t really suffer, especially, beyond scowling at people in school when they dared to refer to me. 

it was pretty clear to me when i was 11 that having a cursed body was, indeed, going to be a curse. not worth mentioning how terrible and evil 11-14 was for me physically, tho to be fair i also took up swordfighting then so swings and roundabouts.

but yeah, around when i was 9 i knew there was a huge massive problem but then my mom got cancer (multiple myeloma) and… yeah gender crisis took a backseat while we watched her almost die about three times (pulmonory embolism, stem-cell transplant, getting shingles with no immune system bc chemo). my grandmother looked after me while Hospital.

& then, when things calmed down & i was about 16/17, i had come out as gay (good for me) about two years before & then i realised i was oh fuck A Bit More Complicated than that i spent a while agonising over it. really a long walks on the beach pondering my gay ass type deal.

but then, just when i was kind of starting to vibe with being enby, I got really really sick, which lasted aboooout 5/6 years where it was just an old school platforming game but titled ‘casper tries not to die while trying to get a degree & two masters’). very do not pass go do not collect 200 of the universe to Do That. but hey. 

so it was around Pandemic when i finally got the brainspace to actually think, & i realised that i was definitely trans, probably nonbinary. i experimented for a while with different pronouns. realised my ‘dumbass nickname everyone has to call me’ was my ACTUAL NAME (never underestimate my stupidity and ignorance) & yeah at first i was thinking of going the hormones path (do not ever please god don’t get me started on how hard that is in this stupid bastard country. 5 years waiting period, on average. have to get diagnosed formally by a team of psychiatrists with what is characterised as a ‘mental illness’. have to ‘live’ - as Some Fucker sees it - as your ‘chosen’ gender for like two years AND be out to basically everybody - realistic and safe i say sarcastically i say while looking into the camera like i'm on the office - oh look i got started. anyway. bullshittery)

but eventually i realised huh nope i just wanted top surgery (same fucking deal with the health service tho) & for people to use they/them generally (i am not too fussed w/ pronouns for myself tho. like, a lot of my friends use he/him because frankly i deserve it most of the time with the himbo behaviour. professionally i insist on they/them for consistency. i get congnitive dissonance with she/her as in i get a weird shock & want to laugh & wonder who the fuck they’re talking about for a sec before i realise it’s me. but like, miffed too much i am not).

also gender is a big pendulum for me it’s an elliptic orbit sometimes for a few weeks i’m like a feminine guy and other times i feel like a masculine gay & sometimes i feel like the autism creature (bc i AM an autism creature, always). 

but i have, essentially, felt nonbinary always. trust me i have a pic of blue-eyed blond 5y/o me sitting on my bed in my Pokemon-themed room wearing a Manchester United jersey and holding my PS2 controller in my hands with a profoundly vacant and himboish expression on my face. it did fully take me 17 whole years to have my ‘oh’ moment about it, but a lot of that was profoundly indulgent parents who were you can’t even imagine how determined to not raise me the way they were raised - which meant, apparently, that if i wanted to be a spider-collecting, bug obsessed pokémon-fixated little guy who kept snapping branches off the bamboo and fashioning makeshift swords out of them - well then that was the creature they’d send to school every day. 

i think the tldr here is: casper stupid. gender a concept.

Steal My Girl reminds me of fall (the whole album does) but that was my favorite of their first song album drops. It really fit the vibe. The music video always makes me laugh. I never knew I needed to see Louis with a chimp until then 😭 A LITTLE BASIC. I'm SCREAMING. Good for him though, I don't think that's an obvious choice for casual listeners. I love it!

I'm doing well! I think when we last chatted I was STRESSED™ over everything and now I'm MUCH less stressed thankfully. I'm really not doing a whole lot these days. Just trying to enjoy the summer even though the weather is crappy af lately. Too hot to breathe one day and then raining off and on for hours. Can't do anything outside. I made a yummy pasta dish for dinner last night and other than that, my life is pretty boring.

Some of my thoughts!! Not many of them are coherent yet I’ll be honest but I needed to post something so. Here we are

- not sure if Rafal’s speech about sabotaging Good by rewarding them for killing and torturing villains was in the books but I thought that was a really smart angle to take it - Rafal actually undermining Good for years made the whole vain performative Goodness of the School for Good a lot more sinister and I liked it

- Dovesso should’ve kissed. For the betterment of humanity.

- Dammit I didn’t want to like anything about Hort but “hi :)” “my heart belongs to another 😔” was really funny I did laugh

- Making the gargoyle from the book GREGOR!! That hurt me

- Love all the little hints at Tedros’s raging abandonment issues. He really did just latch on to any woman who didn’t immediately show interest in him. Him hanging around Agatha constantly AFTER she punched him in the face was very funny to me. Look at him try to function. Can’t wait to see the sequel where all that goes to shit. :)

- His line at the end also tickled me. “I NEED YOU AGATHA :(((((((“

- Him and Hester should bond over mother issues

- KIKO!! the bit where Beatrix pushed her away and she was like :( and then Dovey touched her arm and she went :D she’s so beautiful I love

- Kerry Washington understood the assignment. Unhinged Dovey for the win

- “Do I look like I give a SHIT about smiling??!?!!!” was the best line in that whole movie no contest if only one character got to swear then I am so glad it was Anemone

- Not so keen on Sophie’s nose growing bigger = Evil. there are other ways to portray stereotypical fairytale villainy that aren’t as harmful

- Hester and Beatrix had some chemistry though. Emo Beatrix was also stunning

- Lady Lesso constantly with every move solidifying my conviction that yeah I am definitely not straight

- Not sure how smart the Leonora of Gavaldon twist actually was but it made me feel smart so

- Tedros’s giggle after Agatha called him bigheaded!!!!!!!!!!
