Late night quickie I forgot to post because I had, as the lord of benevolence and all that is benevolent Liu Bei puts it, “A frigging headache the size of Lü Bu’s Wang” was he talking about Wang Yun perhaps? Dunno. I just forgot because headache.
Smh it’s all Team Ninja’s fault they made such a fine ass man I will never forgive them. Koei would literally have all my money if they made a 3K dating sim with Wo Long designs.
Getting better with the mask and hair all thanks to the concept art.

HI EVERYBODY I GOT ART COMMISSIONED (by Beel0ver on twitter) OF MY CHARACTER IN THE MASKS TTRPG CAMPAIGN I'VE BEEN PLAYING IN FOR MORE THAN A YEAR, AND I LOVE IT SO MUCH I NEED TO GUSH ABOUT HER
Tumblr media
This is Alba Eriksdottir, 17, hero name Obsidian. A normal girl who one day suddenly started growing scales, and then a good few more things*.
Then, when she could no longer hide the changes, she became a pariah, no one in her corner except her mom. Even when she realized her newfound strength and durability and decided to help people, by defending her neighborhood against the gang/mob that had been harassing and extorting them, she was ambushed by the leader of that gang (a publically-a-hero named Sigurd) and subsequently framed by him as a villain (and named 'Fafnir' by the media).
After that, desperate for it to end, she contacted another young hero who people also distrusted to ask her for advice. They met up to talk, and when a villain attacked a nearby dam, Alba, this hero, and another one who happened to be there with his high school class all banded together to stop him.
That's how she met her team.
And while she still isn't liked by the public, and people still fear her, now she has friends, and is dating a fellow team member and a girl from a friendly (more neutral) team who also can't hide her powers and is very into her. And she also chose her own hero name.
(*She's going through her second, dragon puberty.)
(No, I somehow didn't realize how trans this all is until it was pointed out to me. Our wonderful DM has leaned into that more and more as the sessions went on and I adore it.)

my problem with The Teal Mask dlc
!warning spoilers ahead and spelling misstakes!
So i liked the teal mask dlc (but i think most of it was just my therorising with my mom about what was going to happen next) but i have one big problem with the story and that is how they fail the rule of show dont tell, beacouse they tell us that everyone loves The "Loyal" Three but almost everyone at the festival of masks was whereing an ogerpon mask.
But worst of all the reason im making this post. They tell us The "Loyal" Three are evil but they show the opposite, they talk to us, ask people for what they want instead of just taking it and refuse to fight us in a unfair battle.
They say The Loyal Three are greedy but they havent done anything greedy, they dont evan attack you until you attack them!
But you might say "Well what about Ogerpon? They attacked Ogerpon!" and yes they did but theres no prof that they did it out of ill intent! All we have to go off is a mask makers story from centuries ago! The mask maker might have known Ogerpon but he didn't know anything about The Loyal Three! He just assumed they where greedy and evil just like how the villigers asumed Ogerpon was evil.
Most likely senerio is that the loyal three heard about an evil ogre in the mountens and desided to do something about it and died in the prosses.
They died for a lie
Man fuck those villegers! They evan have the gull to call them "those three villans"!

Various recent pictures of things
#or.. recent ISH.. this was still a few months ago lol#photo diary#EEEee... it's like over 45 minutes away from where I live but I finally found an arcade to go to that's not like entirely in the city and#is less busy. I went like the second they opened at 11:55am on a tuesday while school was still in. So there was basically no other people#there aside from like 5 staff. + wearing high quality KN95 mask and limiting my time there to under 1hr..#Also this was before the current summer covid surge happening since June in the US. so... I got to do One Single safe activity for once lol#skee ball my beloved.....#I actually don't like a lot of arcade games so I basically just spent 70% of the time doing skeeball ghjbjh#But I did weirdly like that pearl themed machine.. even though its one of those foolish games where you just drop items#and hope that they build up enough to let coins fall. like very boring not skill based or etc. But the Aesthetics of it.. I was drawn#to.. I wanted to crack the glass open and harvest the smooth white orbs from inside.. it would have been even cooler if they were#actually pearlescent in some way. but the round bubbly design and the blue and white water and shell theme entranced me#I love air hockey also but this machine was really flat and weird. like not enough air was pumping and the puck was very cheap and flimsy#An afterschool daycare place I went to once as a child had an air hockey machine that they would allow kids limited use to sometimes#and the air was always BLASTING up from the table so much that you could lay on it and it was like being hit by a slight breeze. and the#puck was very hefty and more of a satisfying clunk when you shot it around. I mastered skee ball with two arms#where I would load up a game on two machines right next to each other and throw one ball with my left hand to the left machine and one#with my right to the other and still got an okay ish score on both lol. But I do forget arcades can be very sensory overwhelming like#bright lights and noises and stuff.. walking past every blinking machine chirping at me like SHUT UP I'm trying to get to SKEE BALL#leave me ALONNEE. ghjhb... ANYWAY.. other stuff.. some images of clouds as usual.. a quaint little breakfaste#of eggs. pickled onions. grapes strawberries. and some turkey bacon. Also ofcourse Cat In Weird Position image.#he's always sitting with his legs stretched out funny#I kind of hate arcades on principle since much is a waste of money and time and many games are rigged (especially claw games) where#theres like some Illusion of Skill but so much of it is just random. I simply do not have the patience for that sort of thing. And usually#all the stuff you can win is bad anyway. BUT I also love active games.. if there was a place where I could JUST play skee ball. ddr.#air hockey. and like games where you have to aim at stuff (shooting games. wack a mole. etc.) then I would go there instead.#Active Games Only arcade. It bothers me sometimes to have to walk past all the scammy games to get to the decent ones lol..#Begone.. Out of my site at once... wretched claw machines.. and those things where you try and stop a light or whatever

Prompt for Dammit Hedgi Day: Paradox Pack circus AU, with or without powers (yes this is bc I rec'd you The Circus Infinite)
Outside of set up or tear down, Clubs never set foot on stage. From the moment he'd turned up, dripping from the rain outside Jenna "The Nightingale" Clarke's trailer, that much was clear. He'd be up with the sunrise, loading or unloading whatever needed to be moved, but by the time crowds started to gather, he'd find some task to do well out of sight.
It worked out well enough. The Paradox Pack was a small enough crew, reusing what it had to to fill out the stage and the time. With Sungdog's dazzling light show juxtaposed as a bookend against Darkling's sleights of hand (and body), they only needed a few other acts. Butterfly's ribbon acrobatics and dancing was always as much a showstopper as Dynamo's lightning juggling or Nightingale's trapeze and aerial silks act. They all pitched in for smaller things between the big acts. It kept the lights on, both in the trailers and on the stage.
They never asked who he was hiding from, but it was clear he was hiding.  It was nothing new to any of them.
He could always run.
It was Nightingale who coaxed him backstage, one night of the performances. "Just to watch," she said. "Get some ideas for if you ever want to try something."
"I could get you a mask," Butterfly said. Her sister took care of all the costumes, from Darkling's black cloak to the dazzling blue leotard Nightingale wore, perfectly matched to her silks, or the blue shapes she made with light to glimmer alongside her. When they dropped by Halcyon City, adjustments were made, and the rest of the time Butterfly made sure everything was in shape for the show. "Or Dynamo could do something with the lighting so no one could see your face..."
"Thanks, Clubs said, nervously checking that his blond hair curled behind his ear. Dynamo's gift with electricity  lent itself well to making the stage appear different for every act, with nothing more than some cheaply painted backdrops and a couple of color filters. "I'd rather just... watch, for now."
He did love what he saw, even just when he watched the practices. There was real beauty in the way they used their abilities, elegant and composed. He'd said as much, and nearly offended Butterfly, the lone powerless member of the pack. He stammered out that he didn't mean just their powers, but their skills and their joy in using them, and they'd gone back to watching Sundog fill the stage with a miniature star, bursting it into a fanfare of fireworks. Butterfly had left him standing at the curtain to make her own entrance amidst the glitter.
He didn't tell her that she was the one he was most jealous of.
November nights were cold in Halcyon. The patchy frost on the rooftops had been expected, normal, even if it clearly put Nightingale on edge.
"After this show, we'll head south again," Dynamo promised, to Clubs's very obvious relief, and fainter relief from Nightingale and Darkling. Butterfly had flashed a thumbs up, promising to work things out with her sister for the newest costumes. The Show had gone on.
In the middle of one of Nightingale's acts, singing from a high platform with blue light trailing behind her like wings, someone without a ticket burst in, a hunter who'd finally caught up to prey.
Ice spread from the supervillain Shiver's hands, down the aisle and through the audience to the stage.  From where he stood in the wings, Clubs could see the way the platform, which already swayed, trembled as frost weakened the rivets.  Clubs could see the way the woman's stare froze Nightingale on her perch.
He could see that she would fall.
He could run. He had before. He could now.
There were too many people in the audience to hide from them all, but in the moment that the platform gave way, none of that mattered. He ran.
And jumped.
And caught her.

Wind Waker isn’t a true Zelda game because instead of Epona you get a boat! Why is everything under water and who’s this Tetra chick? Gimmicky af.
I'm already seeing some people suggest that EoW is not a "real" Zelda game due to the new mechanics and lessened focus on combat. And like it's actually crazy to me how people call themselves Zelda fans but baulk every time the series gets a shake up (as if the devs haven't been trying to shake up the formula since Zelda Fucking Two.)
Anyway, with this I would like to start a thread called "Why Your Favourite Zelda Games Aren't Actually Zelda Games." I'll start:
Ocarina Of Time isn't a true Zelda game because Zelda shouldn't be 3D. The games began as 2D, and to change mediums is betraying the series roots and core gameplay.
Now, continue:

Just beat Ocarina of Time like 20 years late but it was still fun. If I had to change anything it would be making Ganon's final phase not take 12 years because of clunky z-targetting constantly locking me on to his head instead of his tail. I tried just swinging without targetting and that worked slightly better but due to the camera angle I was largely guessing where the tail was and the master sword's reach ain't all that far compared to the best item in the game that trivializes all combat.

oneshot in-ho x reader whos a player not bc of debt but because she was investigating with gi-hun? in-ho falls in love w her and protects her during the games (he knew abt her as he had stalked gi hun and his team duh)
thank u🙏🏻
Just when I read this I had just uploaded a one-shot more or less with that theme of the researcher girl.
I love it, thanks for reading🤎
Part 1 // Part 2 // Part 3
Paparazzi
Tumblr media
Summary: A private detective that Gi-hun had hired to investigate those games he participated in three years ago, is taken against her will without knowing that a certain man with power and money knew absolutely every detail about her.
Warnings: Just some harassment from this sexy man, violence and inappropriate language. Also, I made a modification to one of the games so that the reader could be with them
Note: Your wishes are my command! Orders will remain open and I will try to respond as soon as possible.
Her job was supposed to be just to do some research, collect names, dates and addresses, but fate had other things in store for she.
—Form lines to advance! It will be harder for the puppet to detect you that way —Gi-hun shouted to the players who were still alive after that massacre.
The girl was shaking uncontrollably. Unfortunately, she hadn't managed to get behind someone and now the doll was in her sights. Her hands didn't stop moving and clearly noticed how one of the weapons from heaven was pointing at her.
—Please... —She whispered shakily, yeah... maybe she was a coward but it's only because survival is not his specialty.
"Player 455" heard one of the guards through his communicator, he aimed directly at the head of the trembling girl but before pulling the trigger he heard the voice of his leader "Don't shoot, let her continue" and without protest he obeyed him order.
In a gilded room, with a huge screen in front of a single sofa and a small table next to it, rested the man who led and maintained order in these games.
Drinking a little more whiskey, In-ho kept his eyes on the screen and with the remote control he focused on player 455, the poor girl was terrified, it was not the first impression he expected from her after having read her entire file.
He had read that she was a great detective, top of her class, she was cunning, intelligent, and had a couple of master's degrees completed, but seeing her afraid of dying almost made him laugh.
It was amazing how being face to face with death changed people.
—Nobody shoot her —he added over the radio without taking his eyes off the screen.
He could see the girl's confusion at seeing thatwas still alive despite moving very slightly.
In-ho knew everything about her, he knew what she was weak on, her strengths, weaknesses, her way of operating, he even knew about that beloved cat she had in his childhood and died of old age.
He had taken the time and dedication to investigate even the smallest details about her, it was the least he could do after almost discovering his identity.
The detective was so close to discovering the entire empire of these games that he had to be her brought together with Gi-hun by force so as not to let her finish the task.
He twisted his lips as the whiskey vanished and the first game, green light, red light, was over.
He didn't want her dead, or at least not for now, until he knew a little more about her, one could almost say that she had the potential to be part of this if she weren't so correct.
He put on his mask and went to the control center.
[...]
Just as she thought, some players approached Gi-hun for advice for the next game, there were only those who believed in his words because some others called him a 'liar'.
Among them was player 001, whose name was claimed to be Young-il. He was no fool, he wouldn't say his real name without being sure how much information she had about all of this.
As night fell in the bedroom everyone was sleeping peacefully, except for the girl who was sitting in the middle of her bed playing with his pillowcase, folding it over and over again and then unfolding it and repeating the same act.
—Are you having trouble sleeping? –001 asked, approaching her, who shifted a little and made room on the bed for him to sit next to her.
—My head works better at night... —She murmured, looking at him and smiling friendly.
He looked down at her hands and how the moved on the pillowcase, her were precise and firm. —You know how to tie good knots.
She had many talents and In-ho knew them all.
Or well, almost all of them.
Her ability to tie excellent knots was developed by her father, who was captain of a fishing boat that she also sailed on from time to time.
They locked gazes again in silence. In-ho considered that long-distance photos were nothing compared to being face to face with her. For two years he had been investigating her, he had sent several guards to follow her closely for one reason only. At first considered her a threat. Her intelligence and curiosity could have unmasked him, but then he started following her out of routine.
Afterwards he just kept his gaze on her out of habit and finally he had her face to face.
—What's wrong? —She asked with a frown as noticed the intense gaze on his person.
—Nothing, you should rest, we must have energy for tomorrow's games.
When he was about to stand up and go to his respective bed but she stopped him by holding his hand. The girl, seeing his inappropriate act and with more confidence than she should have, quickly let him go. —Can we keep talking? Honestly... I'm too distressed to sleep right now.
—Of course...
The two continued to talk about trivial matters for a couple more hours, they tried to keep it low so as not to wake up the other players but every now and then they received an annoying 'shhh' from someone nearby who longed to be able to sleep peacefully.
Until she finally fell asleep with head resting on In-ho's shoulder, he didn't move, instead, he let her sleep and settled down so they could both rest better.
The next day, during the next game, they formed teams of six people.
Once they were all together, along with a pregnant woman named Jun-hee with the number 222, they sat on the floor as ordered and shared the games.
The activity was to play a series of games and each time they won they could advance, all this with their feet tied together.
It would be simple, each one was good at something and that made it easier for them to continue, they were the last players to participate which was good for the girl, so she wouldn't get nervous under the gaze of the other participants and as if heaven conspired in his favor one of the games was about making a rhombus with a rope.
—I did it! —She shouted euphorically showing the perfect rhombus in her hands made with rope and on the first try, the guard made a circle and the voice said "pass"
The others celebrated with her as they advanced, until now they achieved the games at the first opportunity and had plenty of time but when they reached the part where they had to spin a top on the ground Young-il lost his sanity after so many failed attempts.
As she bent down to pick up the top once more and wrap it in the string 001 began to curse and beat himself.
—What the hell is happening to me? I can't do anything right! I'm useless —She looked at him startled every time he hit himself, until she interrupted him by slapping on the left cheek, managing to silence him and making his head turn just a little.
In-ho's fake drama to scare them was going great until this sudden blow happened, he didn't expect it but there he was, looking at her with surprise and astonishment.
—You have to calm down! —She shouted, handing him the already finished top. —Try it again and if we die I swear I'll kill you.
He nodded and took the toy, she used those words to lighten the mood and try to give him confidence (which of course she did) but eyes don't lie and her gaze begged him to do it, she didn't want to die.
Miraculously he managed to spin the top and they moved on to the last game which Gi-hun was about to lose if it hadn't been for In-ho, although the last move was not correct he shouted "he did it" this being a small order camouflaged for the guard to give the affirmative signal.
They didn't know it but at that moment they would have died.
She was ignorant of this, she didn't know that if it weren't for In-ho she would already be dead since "green light, red light"
Unwittingly, In-ho saved her at every opportunity, protecting her life without realizing that perhaps following her had already become more than just a routine.
Little by little she got under him skin, first it was in his mind and now...
