Honestly, talking about Twisted Wonderland has got me thinking about my taste in fictional men.

In Obey Me, I crush hard for Lucifer and Satan.

In Twisted Wonderland, I am madly freaking in love with Leona, Malleus, and to a smaller extent, Azul.

What do all of these men have in common???? I'm not sure.

The best answer I can come up with is they are depressed and lonely and I'm just like?????

“Hi!” 

Wonwoo’s voice came out a little louder than usual, making his friends turn to him with furrowed eyebrows. Soonyoung looked utterly confused while Jihoon just did his best to suppress the laugh that was bubbling inside his chest. 

“I didn’t think I’d see you again” you said, smiling brightly at him. 

Wonwoo was completely caught off guard when you took a step forward and wrapped your arms around his shoulders. It only lasted a second and it wasn’t enough for him to react and hug you back. 

Your cheeks had a light pink on them as you stepped back. He smiled once he noticed that your hand was balled into fists. 

“Sorry, my mom is a hugger so I just sort of hug people sometimes” you were quick to explain, waving your hands in front of yourself. 

You closed your eyes tightly, your cheeks getting even redder. Wonwoo thought that you looked cute that night at the party, but this version in front of him was much cuter. He pressed his lips together, trying no to smile too big. 

“Do I get a hug too?”

Soonyoung took a step forward, arms wide open, smile so big that Wonwoo wasn’t even sure his friend could see anything at all. Thankfully Jihoon was quick enough to pull him back and angry enough to hit him at the back of the head. 

“No…”

It’s always funny to me how average and untouched by trauma my little pwotr guy is. The only event that defines his past as the Fifth Crusade begins is having been left by his partner, Kristov, after a 6-year relationship that he had convinced himself was fine. Not to say that’s not a lot of heartache, but relatively speaking I guess.

This song is about how, in his hurt and loneliness, he picks up the pieces and tries to do better, and that defines how he approaches Woljif and eventually lives up to his trust. And I like this song because Sia’s an unplugged kinda bard.

(Oh and the first four lines could refer to a certain soul he’s stuck with and eventually reconciles/fuses with in the Abyss.)

As he sees himself, he’s the Lark; he feels the wind and sings as he takes wing, but also skips out on people he loves. His heartbreak lies in that tension.

This song expresses his enthusiasm and unusually un-flaky determination to see the crusade through to its end, something uncharacteristic for Sia, who tends to dip out when things get difficult. And if he’s sticking with it he’ll steer the crusade his own direction. Do it in style. “The beach where it never ends” – obviously Elysium – his guiding vision.

For me this is the azata Fleshmarket song, especially with that speech from Early Sunset afterwards about how this mortal-imbued-with-mythic-power’s little butterfly wings stir up storms across the planes and disrupt the machinery of millennia. So silly and dramatic and inspirational, it’s Sia’s ass-kicking for goodness azata theme song.

About the eyes, I know I already told you but I'll answer again anyway, I honestly don't know where it came from, one day I tried it and I got addicted, It's so fun to use just one eye, I can control the character's vision and expressions better so I prefer it that way!
