hey captain laserhawk fandom can we talk about dolph is so wolf-coded because I think we should

specifically lone wolves BTW!!! the dying ones thrown out from the pack to keep the pack (eden) integrity. the ones wandering around, shambling about like living corpses trying to stay alive despite being so fucking alone. if they're lucky, like dolph had thought he once was with alex, they'd be taken care of, or they'd meet a swift end.

dolph was a dying wolf given the comfort of a companion and he was willing to get hurt for that. he was willing to die for alex. he loved alex so fiercely.

then once again he was thrown under the bus.

Gritted teeth call for a tense jaw, air laden with irritation that boils from the crevices of his very being. As witty as this stranger may be, Blade has no intentions to fall for friendly chatter. His head hurts already, rhythmic pounding commencing against his temples, the last thing he needs is sarcasm or an overly positive figure attempting to lift his spirits. 

Well, there is no way of knowing whether or not this man is playing it off for laughs or if he is used to slithering out of sticky situations with an awfully wide smile on his face. Blade isn’t even sure he’s smiling but something in his tone tells him that he might be. Maybe, but unfortunately that isn’t a good enough reason to cut that tongue right out of his mouth. 

“You must have only had awful teammates in the past.”

Hands move quickly to brush the snow off his coat, melting underneath his palms, wetting the bandages wrapped around his hand. It’s frustrating, as always, yet only a minor bump in the road compared to the social interaction he’s facing if he doesn’t get out of here soon. He was trying to leave, really, then again unforeseen accidents happen all the time. Of course he hadn’t reacted fast enough when a pile of snow came tumbling down from the roof. It’s not like he would have died from a little snow and yet someone had been there to his rescue. Whatever business he has out on the cold snow plains remains a mystery, one that Blade isn’t particularly eager to dig into. 

“You don’t live in this...” Thing? Cabin? Shed? “...house, right?”
