Ayo! I haven't answered asks in FOREVER, so it's time for some spring cleaning :) Also answering other stuff, like what I've been up to.

Firstly - where have I been? Work REALLY picked up in a way I wasn't expecting over the last...4 months? I was working double and often triple the hours I was used to. With work, vacations, random illnesses, and many video games I got a bit too obsessed with, this blog took a backseat. Plus, sometimes I get disinterested in vore when obsessed with something else. Sometimes, that lasts months, and it did this time.

But now I can confirm that work will FINALLY chill for a long period of time. I'm free! And more motivated than ever! Wahoo! Thanks for your support ALWAYS.

Next big question - when am I going to do more of my story? The one with Asyr? AHHHHHGHHGHH this story has consumed my life. I think about it daily. I dream about it. And yet I'm not as comfortable writing as I am drawing, so writing is a slow process that my perfectionist ass struggles with. I can assure you that there is a story in the works - and I am working on it at a snail's pace.

We're going back so far that I think this is about my naga oc (which I'm in the midst of redesigning cough cough). For him, he would never tolerate being prey, extremely unwilling bahaha. In general, I haven't thought much about naga or snake prey! I get the appeal of slurping up a noodle, but I just prefer human prey :)

Consider this a Gargoyle Ingo masterpost for now until I get around to actually organizing anything I make

Gargoyle Ingo started when I entered into two different fandoms at relatively the same time: obviously submas as a whole, and the cartoon series Gargoyles. My sister got me the entire DVD collection as part of a Christmas and birthday gift, and I got PLA soon after. And honestly, with how crazy things get in the Gargoyles universe, everything I'll say here would likely just be another regular Tuesday for the characters.

Basics of the au:

•Akari reminds Arceus that Ingo shouldn't be in Hisui and asks to send the train man home. Unfortunately, this is another au where Arceus has terrible aim and yeets Ingo into New York in the 80's, in a reality where creatures like the fae and Gargoyles exist, hidden away from human knowledge

•Lots of fights between the fae and the Manhatten clan of gargoyles have left the area saturated with fae magic.

•Ingo immediately comes into contact with said magic and gets turned into a gargoyle. Train man now has to deal with not only being in the wrong time and place, but also the wrong body

•He gets found and brought in by the Manhattan clan through their human friend Eliza and attempts to adjust (he is a scared, confused, and bewildered lil train man)

•Come sunrise, while the regular gargoyles freeze into sleeping statues, Ingo turns back into a human. He remains human while the sun is up, and becomes a gargoyle again when it goes down (There are characters who do this in the show, so really, Ingo is not the first guy to do this)

•During the day, Eliza helps Ingo navigate the city and look for leads to get back home

•At night, Ingo just tries his best to stay out of trouble. Which is nigh impossible as he is a magnet for trouble

•Also one sneasel hitched a ride with him to the Gargoyle world. His name is Pecha due to a pecha berry shaped birthmark on his back. He causes the majority of trouble that Ingo finds himself in every night

•Eventually, Akari finds out that Arceus missed with the yeetening, teams up with Emmet, and tells Arceus to yeet them over as well

•Haven't decided if they get creechure treatment too or not. I think it would be funnier if they didn't tbh

•The au overall deals with themes of body disphoria on Ingo's part, but is also meant to have a heavy dose of comedy thrown in as well (I am physically incapable of not writing humor in anything I make)

•Gargoyles itself deals with many dark themes throughout the show, while accidentally falling into humor with just how outlandish some of the plots can be (I truly love them for that, though)

•I have a wip fic that I more or less forgot about until recently. I will only share it with folks I deem as friends who ask me

I usually hate when people pick lizards up and remove them from their little outside land. I dont even like holding lizards. But the other day, I couldn't fight it. I was walking to my car and this itty bitty little guy is in my way and I pause, shuffle forward to encourage him on his way, but he just stays there. Looking at me.

And I say 'hey little fella, its okay' but he stays staring. This overwhelming voice in my head booms loudly 'pick him up.' So I lay my hand flat beside him, and he just skiddles on up and stays in my hand. Crawling around to the top of my fist as I chat with him about my day on the way to the car. I've never done this in my life. I freak out when a little creechure crawls on me.

But me and gregory? We chill as hell. I got what I needed from my car and walked back to where I found lil man, and set him down. He didn't move for a long while until a gently blew on him. I had to go. I wish I kept him lowkey. Gregory was the shit.

(Sorry this is gonna be a lil long sbsbsbdbd but I rly like this exchange between Cyrus and Aym I would have added more but this is long enough so shout out to Aym calling Dara a weed-powered fog machine just a lil bit before this)

"So, what's your deal then?" he asked, changing the subject.

"My deal?"

"Yeah. Like, I'm a werewolf now, I guess, and Aylwin's a vampire, and Keren's a fucking god. I know Dara said something about you having horns." He laughed. "What are you, a minotaur?"

"A demon, actually," Aym replied, turning his gaze back onto Cyrus.

He felt his heart squeeze a little and his breath come up short. For a moment his vision blurred, though the image of Aym's face was burnt into his mind. That image flickered, and then changed. His eyes were solid black, edge-to-edge, and two long, goatlike horns twisted upward from his forehead. As Cyrus watched, Aym's mouth cracked into a long, nasty grin full of sharp fangs and in the middle of his forehead the skin blistered, then split, revealing a third, jet black eye.

Then it was gone, and Cyrus' vision cleared. Aym was watching him intently, brow furrowed, though Cyrus throught he saw the corner of his mouth quirked up ever so slightly in a smug little smirk.

"Are you all right?" Aym asked, leaning forward a little.

Cyrus unconsciously leaned away from him, rubbing his face. "Yeah, yeah, I'm good. Just got a little dizzy there for a moment is all."

Aym was quiet a moment, then: "I'm not evil, you know. The world at large exists outside of humanity's morality." He sniffed a little, brushing more invisible lint off his shirt. "You mortals can't even decide amongst yourselves what constitutes good and evil, why should the rest of us follow suit? A lion preying on a gazelle isn't evil, nor is she good. She is simply following her nature."

A little shiver ran up Cyrus' spine. It was all too easy to imagine Aym as a lion, stalking him through the grass, ready to pounce when the moment was right. That image of Aym flashed in his mind again, all black eyes and sharp teeth, and another shudder ran through him. He wrapped his arms around himself and looked at the floor, the dark tv, out the window, anywhere that wasn't Aym's dark gaze.

"And what is a demon's nature, then?" he asked shakily.

"Chaos."

There was a hint of glee in Aym's voice that Cyrus had literally never heard before and it made his uneasiness worse. His skin prickled and tingled, and he stared out the window, his brain somehow convinced that as soon as he looked back at Aym he'd be that demonic vision from his mind's eye.

I'll give you the Abominations summary since that's my Big Project and what the snippets I'm sharing are from. The overarching plotline is just. The trials and tribulations of a polycule of gay ass supernatural creechurs and their close friends and family (honestly more or less one giant polycule surrounding and branching off of the core five. These mfs are just. Fucking sm). The first book, the one I'm working on rn (tentatively titled Rebirth) deals with Cyrus joining the family and coming to terms with his new life as a werewolf. He's a college student who gets attacked at a party and almost killed, and now he has to deal with his new werewolf status, the supernatural world, and figuring out his place in the family and the growing pains for all of them that come along with it. And if all that isn't enough, the asshole bastard man who attacked him comes sniffing around causing just, so many problems tbh, not only for Cyrus and the fam but for himself and his little pack. (And his presence is going to bring More Trouble down the line but. Shhhh >:3) I'm aiming for very. Urban fantasy with splashes of very very Queer™ romance. (Genuinely I don't think we have a single heterosexual in the cast even the minor character couple who are "str8" married are actually bi4bi so. The only characters who I could say For Sure are straight are. Future antagonists, that I would genuinely almost classify as actual villains lmao)

☔Is there a fic concept you have that you'd like to just explain and share because you're not sure you'll ever write it? If so, what is it?

Godddddd probably my Adieu fic 😩 I want to write it sm but I don't know if I'll ever get around to it bc I have too many original fics I want to focus on more. I know I've already given you a big ole rundown of it but mostly it would consist of the Rammlads being an elite assassin squad for The Church™ and Till getting captured and slowly regaining lost memories and uncovering the dark secrets abt their existence, namely them being clones of the first resistance group that rose up against The Church™ and that keep getting replaced and given the same (at least half fabricated) memories any time they get killed or injured beyond saving. Till would help the other lads recover their memories and then it would kind of. Segue into the video, with them going into church headquarters and blowing everything up to end the cycle and hopefully deal a debilitating blow to The Church™ itself.

A ship I have with said character: Oh man, I have so many... Jack Rabbit x Fang is something that I'm probably alone in, but like... the potential. Jack having so many similarities to Fang but spinning himself as a Freedom Fighter and clearly only caring about covering his own ass. Both being dirty cowards. It's so fun. They bicker so much. And, of course, Bark. The one person who can keep him grounded but also will put him in his place when his head gets too far up his own ass.

A BROTP I have with said character: My gal Carey and I'm not the slightest bit ashamed to say it. uwu They're besties who sometimes makeout. The bestest of drinking buddies. She drives him up the wall but he learns he can always, always count on her. And despite himself, he's gonna pull through so she can count on him too. They're constantly making bets with eachother and enabling eachother. It's a nightmare for Bark.

A NOTP I have with said character: I keep trying to think of one but every time I try, I start thinking of how much fun a ship between the two characters could be. So, none right now!

A random headcanon: He cleans his guns when he needs to blow off steam or clear his head. The process of taking them apart and cleaning them thoroughly helps clear his mind. Along that same line, he does repairs to the Marvelous Queen himself. He doesn't trust anyone else with his bike. He's self taught.

Fang isn't stupid - not by a longshot. He's impulsive, he's short-tempered and can be short-sighted, and a bit a klutz, but he's really, really smart. He just doesn't apply himself to things if he's not convinced it's worth his time or something he'd enjoy.

Also you can't tell me this fucked up jerboa-thing is neurotypical. You just can't.

General Opinion over said character: He's my special boy!! My blorbo I pulled out of the garbage dump!

Fang has consistently been my #1 favorite character for the past 16 years. I love that he's canonically a klutz and he's so arrogant but also has the most crybaby fragile ego ever. As an autistic person who struggles with anger, impulses, and missing the finer details when I'm excited and making dumb mistakes, I've always felt really seen by him sfkjfsjkfs

And I like that he sucks! I like Fang being a horrible, selfish gremlin of a man. I love that he's a dirty coward. I love that he cares so much about money. This man will stub his toe on a wall and spend the next several seconds hopping and cursing up a storm. He's hunted people for money. He's proficient with guns. He can use his tail to spring him up really high. He's a lil purple creechur dressed up like a cowboy and I love him dearly.

im really liking story mode and splatoon 2 in general so far, and i just got to the 4th area, so here are some random thoughts i have on it in no particular order.

I rlly like that Marie is basically the only other character here. I may be biased cuz she's my second fav character (shiver is number one ofc) but i just rlly like her commentary. But not have Callie here to also say random stuff is kinda sad..... Like at first i was like yessss lets go only Marie(no offense, i love callie). But i miss her :(

I may be one of the few sheldon enjoyers as someone who actually likes reading all his dialogue, so i appreciate him also being here.

THIS IS HARD. I know i suck at video games... but some of these levels just feel so LONG. And making me fight enemy octolings with a charger is evil. Anyway yeah i need some easier levels spread out between these like splat 3 had. Cuz this is..... not good. I have to keep taking breaks cuz the long levels do be mentally taxing. Like hello this is funny squid game i cant be bad at smth intended for kids. I havent straight up failed a level yet but ive come close.

Forcing me to use the hero charger for certain levels is so evil and messed up. I only like dualies, rollers, and sometimes brella. They cant do this to me.. I cannot aim....

As with splat 3 i am enamored with the backgrounds in the story mode levels themselves. i love just wasting like 5 mins just staring at them. I want to make literally any of them my desktop background but idk how to get a good pic of them.... man especially the upside down city looking one in 3. its so pretty and just UGH ITS SO GOOOD/

i also wanna explore the stages but as far as i know there isnt recon. I was just gonna do a private battle but turns out u cant do those w one person. And i was so excited cuz there were splatfest stages availbe too...... so sad i just wanna check out the maps but idk how to/if i can do that.....

the amount of times ive fallen off the map in the main level select area of story mode is more than i can count. its not even funny at this point

I also just cannot find some of the scrolls/sardines in some levels despite playing them mulitiple times. Not to just expose myself as incompetent over and over today, but i am 100% gonna need to look up a guide cuz i do not have the patience for this.

Also the rhythm game is surprisingly one of my fav things so far??? Like i am having the most fun ever with this thing. I want it in splat 3 so bad w all the new songs. Its actually just so fun. Like idk maybe better than story mode somehow. Maybe i just have my priorities wrong tho lol

This is specially noticeable (like another poster said) when we see various scenes where he's gently craddling his victim's faces or taking "care" of them. He looks at them in awe, like he could (cus he really could) break them, he wants to see them break to learn one more thing about them

He sees his victims not as people, not as complex universes, not as concepts, but as animals. He understands you have a life and opinions and friends, but he compartmentalizes these as normal behavior for your species

He cannot physically take his headphones off during the day cus it's so fucken noimsy outside and it hurts his ears
